Laura Howlett: Welcome to IWF PRESENTS: BLOODY ASSIZES! PRE SHOW! I am Laura Howlett, back after passing a mandatory class on empathy! And besides me is literally the fattest man in the industry! Keybo Shabaz!
Keybo Shabaz: I see those classes were for nothing.
Laura Howlett: I refuse to change, Keybo!
Keybo Shabaz: I know.
Laura Howlett: But I am excited for tonight! And excited to be back! We’ve got a huge show!
Keybo Shabaz: Absolutely! The war between the Work and the Revolution is seemingly coming to a head tonight!
Laura Howlett: I love a good stable war!
Keybo Shabaz: We’ve also got the new TV Champion, Dane Preston defending against IWF newcomer, Arthur Lucideous!
Laura Howlett: It should be an instant classic!
Keybo Shabaz: In the first co main event of the evening, the Joker in the Pack winner takes on the Men’s World Champion! JC KEETON!
Laura Howlett: I pegged JC for greatness a long time ago. I always said the day he stopped pretending to be a good guy, he’d be a champion.
Keybo Shabaz: It turns out you were right Laura. But before we get to the main card, we have a pre show!
Laura Howlett: A team with a name I cannot possibly announce is taking on Happily Suffering!
Keybo Shabaz: Let’s get to the action!
------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCH
How an anime lover and a Cheshire became overpowered vs Happily Suffering (Mr Happy and Warren Suffering)
------------------------------------
{ Both teams make their entrances. }
{ The match kicked off with Alek and Warren starting things off. Alek was quick to take control of the match and worked over Warren during the opening minutes with several power moves. Eventually Alek took Warren to the corner where he tagged in his partner, Okazaki. Okazaki picked up where Alek left off, hitting more brawler moves while also leaning into his power moves. Warren eventually escaped to tag in Happy but Okazaki wasn’t sweating it and brought Happy down with a release suplex. Okazaki tagged Alek back in and the two of them worked over Happy some more before finally putting Happy down with Deddokāmu! Okazaki picks up the pinfall and the win for his team. }
Winners: How an anime lover and a Cheshire became overpowered
{ We head back to the booth. }
Laura Howlett: Well that was a nice debut for whatever their team is called.
Keybo Shabaz: You don’t always have to be so insulting.
Laura Howlett: I actually do. I’m told it makes me endearing.
Keybo Shabaz: I think it makes you an asshole.
Laura Howlett: And that’s why no one cares what you think! So let’s do a little run down of the main card!
Keybo Shabaz: That sounds like a great idea!
Laura Howlett: The first match of the main card is a Texas Death Match between Rob Diamond and Nick Knight!
Keybo Shabaz: These two have been going back and forth for a while now but in my opinion, Nick Knight is going to take Rob Diamond to the wood shed tonight!
Laura Howlett: Just like your pastor.
Keybo Shabaz: What?
Laura Howlett: I couldn’t disagree more! Rob Diamond is one of the most decorated men in the history of this company! He is going to out work, out wrestle and out think Nick Knight!
Keybo Shabaz: And what happens when Nick Knight punches Rob in the mouth with barbed wire?
Laura Howlett: Rob’s had worse.
Keybo Shabaz: Following that, The Work and The Revolution carry on with Stephen Terrella and James Gilmore in the DEATH CAGE!
Laura Howlett: Opening the show with two of craziest matches this company will ever see. That’s brave. Again, I’m siding with the Work here. Stephen Terrella is a big, mean son of bitch and he is going to eat James Gilmore like he was a testosterone supplement.
Keybo Shabaz: Ok. Well James has been in and won a Death Cage before so I feel that gives him a big advantage over Stephen Terrella!
Laura Howlett: And you would be wrong! After that is Arthur Lucideous taking on Dane Preston for the World Television Title! Dane showed me a lot by being the one to defeat Matthew Knox and I don’t see that momentum ending.
Keybo Shabaz: I hate to agree with you but I have to agree. Arthur Lucideous has been impressive but Dane Preston came in and beat the unbeatable in his first match. He’s going to be a hard man to topple!
Laura Howlett: I’m getting word we are ready for our next match! It’s the first Work versus Rev match of the evening! Chris Diamond verse Nick Danger!
Keybo Shabaz: This will be good!
------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Chris Diamond vs Nick Danger
------------------------------------
{ We see both men make their entrances. }
{ The match kicked off in a bad way for Danger as Chris connected with a big boot to start things off. Chris continued with this early advantage by overpowering Danger at every turn. Chris started to literally use Danger like a lawn dart but eventually, Danger caught his much bigger opponent with a superkick. Danger then leaned into his speed to take control of the match hitting a sliced bread followed by a frog splash and a near fall. Chris had trouble keeping up with Danger at this point and Danger seemed to completely shake off the early power attacks of Diamond. }
{ Danger would hit a bicycle kick and an axe kick. Danger would also hit a curb stomp as well as a 450 splash for another near fall. Chris then fought back against his smaller opponent and grabbed him with Hang’em High! Chris took back control of the match from here and stacked his signature moves. Chris hit a Fist Full of Dollars followed by the Enforcer. Chris went for a cover but Danger was able to kick out. Danger mounted a come back with a jaw breaker and basement drop kick. Danger and Chris worked their way to the corner of the ring and to the top rope. Chris started to come back but Danger stopped him and hit a top rope spanish fly on Chris Diamond. Nick Danger made another cover but it was once again only a two. Danger looked to put away the big man but Chris grabbed Danger with Gran Torino! Chris then scooped Danger up for Sudden Impact and the three count for the victory! }
Winner: Chris Diamond
{ We head back to the commentators booth. }
Laura Howlett: Well, Nick Danger sure tried his best but the Work picks up their first victory of the evening!
Keybo Shabaz: Danger gave it his all, he’s got a heart of gold but tonight Chris Diamond was the better wrestler.
Laura Howlett: Time for Danger to go back to the drawing board after this.
Keybo Shabaz: Now we have two main events tonight, neither of which we’ve talked about. In the first main event, Pax Stormcrow, the Joker in the Pack, takes on the IWF Men’s World Champion, JC KEETON!
Laura Howlett: JC Keeton in a landslide.
Keybo Shabaz: Really?
Laura Howlett: JC Keeton has always had all the tools he just lacked the do whatever it takes attitude that made his father a legend everywhere but here. Now JC has unlocked his true potential and it’s going to take an act of God to dethrone him.
Keybo Shabaz: I don’t know if I agree with all that. JC has been great for a long time now but so has Pax Stormcrow. Pax is possibly pound for pound the best mat wrestler in the world and this is a moment he’s been waiting a very long time.
Laura Howlett: Well he’s going to have to wait a little longer if you ask me.
Keybo Shabaz: Or maybe he shocks the world tonight and brings JC’s run to an early end.
Laura Howlett: In the main event we have Caroline Machado taking on Shelly Diamond for the IWF Women’s World Championship! Now this is my match of the evening already.
Keybo Shabaz: Why’s that?
Laura Howlett: Shelly has been unstoppable since she debuted last year and if she wins tonight? She will pass Brooklyn Maddrox as the longest reigning Women’s World Champion.
Keybo Shabaz: That would be another tremendous accolade to add to her already impressive list but Caroline is coming into this looking to avenge her trainer and end a war.
Laura Howlett: That’s all well and good but I don’t know if that translates to a winning formula.
Keybo Shabaz: I guess we will find out in the main event! Folks, if you haven’t already purchased Bloody Assizes now is the time! It’s going to be a tremendous show and you will not want to miss it!
Laura Howlett: For Keybo Shabaz, I am Laura Howlett! We will see you next time!
{ We close out the pre show as we head into the show opener for Bloody Assizes. }

Vasco Dias: Welcome to IWF PRESENTS! BLOODY ASSIZES!
Terri Morasco: I am Terri Morasco! This is Vasco Dias! And we have an amazing show for you tonight!
Vasco Dias: It's the Work versus the Revolution through most of the show! We saw Chris Diamond pick up the first win for his group on the preshow! Will the Work be able to keep the momentum going!
Terri Morasco: We are going to find out, Vasco! Because our first match of the night is about to begin! Rob Diamond versus Nick Knight in a Texas Death Match!
Vasco Dias: Let's go!
------------------------------------
HEIR TO THE THRONE QUALIFIER
TEXAS DEATH MATCH
Rob Diamond vs Nick Knight
------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is a Texas Death Match. There are no disqualifications and the only way to win is by submission or a man not being able to answer the referees ten count.
{ Suddenly the lights drop out as the opening riff of Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood hits. The entire arena lets out a collective boo. The graphics on the screen show some of the many highlights of the career of Rob Diamond. The lights in the arena start to strobe pink as the second, third, fourth and fifth riffs all hit with pink pyro launching out of the stage and just as the lyrics kick in, Rob Diamond steps out to enormous boos! Rob Diamond walks down the ramp trying to slap some hands but the crowd members pull back, not happy to see the former World Champion back in the IWF. Rob smirks and points finger guns at a couple different people like he is still over before reaching the steps. Rob runs up the steps and teased climbing up the ropes but then steps into the ring. Rob hands Alison Valance a note card. }
Alison Valance: At this time it is my honor and my privilege to introduce… THE MASTER OF DISASTER! THE FACE OF THE FRANCHISE! THE SULTAN OF SWAT! HE IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME! ROB DIAMOND!!!!
{ After the introduction, Rob throws up both arms with his index fingers in the air as pink pyro erupts along the ring apron behind him. }
Alison Valance: His opponent hailing from Hollywood, California by way of Chicago “The Hollywood Butcher” Nick Knight!!!
(Slowed down carousel music begins to play and is soon joined by unhinged laughing. Driving guitars join the fray and as the voice of Ivan Moody growls "Welcome to the Circus" Nick Knight bursts through the curtain and begins stomping his way towards the ring.
Welcome to the shit show
Just another freak show
Hang your hat and hate at the door
It's a game of torture
Souls are made to order
Everything you wanted and more
Knight reaches ring side as the pre-chorus begins
You've gotta kill somebody to thrill somebody
Everybody's gotta reason to bleed
You've gotta fuck somebody to know somebody
That motherfucker ain't me
He begins to clap trying to get the fans into it as the chorus begins to play.
Am I the only one
That doesn't buy into the lies?
Am I the only one
That doesn't wear a disguise?
'Cause if I can't break it
And I can't change it
Then tell me, how will I know? (Tell me, how will I?)
Am I the only one
That isn't just here for the show?
When it get to the very last line the entire arena joins in with Ivan's snarl
WELCOME TO THE CIRCUS!!!}
Teri Morasco: It sounds like the crowd is 100% behind the hometown boy, Nick Knight.
Vasco Dias: Yeah, Chicago fans have a reputation for being idiots.
{Blue shoes calls for the bell and both men roll to the floor and begin digging under the ring. Rob comes up with the barbed wire wrapped baseball bat favored by his brother, while Nick throws an entire garbage can full of plunder into the ring. “The Hollywood Butcher” is not through though and he pulls out a barbed wire wrapped 2x4 with a rag stapled to the end.}
Vasco Dias: That’s a board just like Knight used to burn Stephen Terrella!
Teri Morasco: Well Diamond has been threatening to set The Revolution on fire the past few weeks, maybe Nick is just planning on beating him to the punch.
{The two men both roll back into the ring and immediately a duel breaks out in the center of the ring. THE MASTER OF DISASTER! Is swinging for the fences and Nicky is returning fire just as hard. Back and forth they go, neither of them seeming to gain an inch until Knight trips over something that has rolled out of the trashcan and crashes to the mat. A sick smile comes on Diamond’s face as he pounces and begins to saw the barbed wire across the scarred forehead of Nick Knight. Rob laughs as the blood begins to gush from the wounds that he is inflicting on his opponent. Throwing down the baseball bat “THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME” picks up Nick’s 2x4, the bad intentions obvious on his face.}
Teri Morasco: We’ve seen that look from Rob Diamond many times before, and Nick Knight is in a lot of trouble.
Vasco Dias: I think Knight is about to pay for that little fire truck stunt.
{Rob digs into his tights and pulls out a pink Zippo and holds it up high for the world to see as he lights it. Putting the flame to the cloth it is quickly engulfed and he rears back to blast Knight with now engulfed lumber, but Nick is one step ahead of him and hits Diamond with an up kick straight to the baby makers. “The Face of the Franchise” falls over like a tree grasping at The Diamond Family Jewels. “The Hollywood Butcher” slowly climbs to his feet and demands that Blue Shoes begins the count.
One
Two
Three}
Vasco Dias: This is ridiculous! Nick Knight should be disqualified for kicking Rob Diamond in the…well in the balls.
Teri Morasco: There are no disqualifications, even for low blows.
{Four

Diamond gets to his feet breaking the count, but he is still obviously feeling the effects of Knight’s kick. Taking advantage of his opponents weakened state Nick charges and send both men over the top rope and to the floor with a Cactus Clothesline. Rob lays on the floor, still trying to recover for the low blow, while “The Hollywood Butcher” goes to work ripping up a section of the padding to expose the concrete below. Grabbing a hold of Diamond’s luscious thick man Nick pulls him up off of the floor and shoves his head between his knees.}
Teri Morasco: If Nick Knight is able to hit Banned in Memphis on the exposed concrete this match, and maybe Rob Diamond’s career could be over.
{Nick tries to lift Diamond up, but Rob smartly drops to one knee blocking the attempt. Knight tries once more, but again “The Sultan of Swat” is able to block the attempt. Diamond then gets himself right back into the match with a blatant low blow of his own. Knight falls to the floor gasping for air giving Rob Diamond to once again dig under the ring for something to use to inflict pain on his opponent. Only a few seconds pass before “The Master of Disaster” pulls out a large cloth bag. The crowd begins to cheer expecting thumbtacks or maybe broken glass, but Rob shows how truly diabolical he is by dumping out an entire bag full of Legos.
A small section of the Chicago crowd began to chant, “You sick fuck!” This response makes Diamond grin as he pulls the hardcore icon up off of the floor before planting him on top of the Legos with a release German suplex. Knight begins to flop around like a fish from the pain of a couple hundred tiny plastic pieces being ground into his flesh. Not finished inflicting pain Rob walks across his opponent driving the toy building blocks deeper into Nick’s flesh.}
Vasco Dias: Not only did Nick Knight not hit Banned in Memphis, he just tasted the most vicious weapon ever used in a wrestling match.
Teri Morasco: Vasco they’re toys, not some exploding barbed wire contraption.
Vasco Dias: Have you ever stepped on a Lego, it freaking hurts! Trust me Knight is more worried about the pain from the Legos than he is that torn up forehead of his.
{Knight laid in the pile of building blocks still obviously feeling the effect of the suplex on top of them while Rob Diamond once again digs under the ring for something. Close to thirty seconds pass before he comes out with something that looks like a gun with the words Boring Company on the side of it.}
Teri Morasco: Is that a flame thrower?
Vasco Dias: You’re damn right it’s a flame thrower!
{Diamond walks over to Nick with a sadistic grin on his face. He was finally going to set fire to a member of The Revolution. He slowly squeezes the trigger the way he had always heard that you should, but nothing happened. He pulled the trigger again, this time faster, but again nothing happened.}
Vasco Dias: Remember everyone that Bloody Assizes is brought to you by Blue Chew. Are you having trouble performing in the bedroom guys try Blue Chew. They have doctors that can prescribe for you…
Teri Morasco: We’re not sponsored by Blue Chew
Vasco Dias: Yes we are, it says right here
Teri Morasco: That’s from three years ago, where did you find that.
{Frustrated that once again his plan to incinerate a member of The Revolution has failed Rob throws down the gun. As soon as it hit the floor a two foot long column of flame shoots out and forces a member of the ringside staff to stop, drop, and roll. Wide-eyed Diamond goes to pick up the gun, but he’s intercepted by a haymaker to the jaw that buckles his knees. Staying on the offensive Knight lays in a stiff forearm shot, but that just seems to wake Rob up. Back and forth the begin to throw forearms, neither man really getting any kind of an advantage until Nick ups the ante and lands a headbutt that stuns them both. “The Hollywood Butcher” is the first to shake free the cobwebs and he reaches down and picks up a handfull of the Legos and before “The Face of The Franchise” has a chance to react Nick shoves the toys into his mouth and hits a jaw breaker. Diamond spits out the blocks and all of the brightly colored pieces are coated in a mixture of saliva and blood.}
Teri Morasco: That might be the most bizarrely barbaric thing I have ever seen inside of a wrestling ring.
Vasco Dias: Enough with the Legos for god’s sake!!!
{Nick was in full agreement with Vasco and rolled his opponent into the ring, before quickly joining him. Digging through the plunder Knight found a pizza cutter and with a big smile on his face he dropped to his knees and began running the wheel across the head of Rob Diamond. “The Sultan of Swing” screamed and tried to get away, but Knight just dug the blade in harder until blood began to flow from Diamond’s forehead.}
Vasco Dias: New York or Chicago style Morasco?
Teri Morasco: What?
Vasco Dias: What kind of pizza do you prefer?
Teri Morasco: I actually prefer St. Louis style, but focus on the match.
{Nick tosses away the pizza cutter and once again goes digging in the pile of plunder. This time he pulls out two squeeze bottles of lemon juice. A few feet away Diamond is slowly starting to stand, but before he can even try to mount any kind of offense, Knight shoots him in the face with the acidic liquid. "The Master of Disaster" screams as the juice gets into his open wound and eyes.}
Teri Morasco: We knew that this match was going to behardcore, but I’m not sure even I was expecting this level of brutality.
Vasco Dias: The hatred between these two men has grown over the past few months. You had to know that it would come to a very bloody conclusion.
Teri Morasco: We aren’t even to the conclusion yet.
Vasco Dias: I know, and I’m looking forward to when we get there.
{Diamond is desperately trying to wipe the blood and stinging juice from his eyes, giving Nick just enough time to send him flying into the trash can with a overhead belly to belly suplex. Confidently in control "The Hollywood Butcher" stalks towards his prey looking to end this match once and for all, but Rob is not yet ready to die and lunges towards his opponent with a staple gun and for the second time attacks Knight’s junk. The legend of death match wrestling begins to hop up and down and pull staples from the most tender of placed, Rob Diamond stays in firm control by hitting the Diamond Cutter.}
Teri Morasco: The Diamond Cutter has put so many people away through the years, but will it be enough to keep Nick Knight down.
Vasco Dias: Are you kidding, of course it will.
{Blue Shoes begins the count as Knight is left staring at the United Center lights…

He rolls to his stomach and scrambles towards the ropes.

Realizing that his opponent was going to get to his feet and break the count, Diamond charges like a rabid rhino. Still on wobbly legs Nick does the only thing possible to dodge the big lariat, pull down on the top rope sending Rob crashing back to the floor. Knight falls back to the mat, his back leaning against the ropes, and waved towards the back. Nothing happens for a moment and then four students from The Revolution LA Dojo appear wheeling out a barbed wire spider.}
Teri Morasco: What in the hell?
Vasco Dias: I…I don't know.
{Out on the floor Diamond is taking time to rearrange the furniture by pulling the timekeeper's table closer to the ring and lifting two open folding chairs on top of it, before hopping up onto the apron. Inside of the ring finally gets to his feet and turns to find Rob just on the other side of the ropes. "The Sultan of Swat" lives up to his moniker and bitch slaps Knight sending sweat and blood flying. Stunned, Nick doesn't have time to react before Diamond has locked on a front facelock and is hoisting him over the top rope looking for a suplex.}
Teri Morasco: Nick Knight is about to have a very bad landing
Vasco Dias: That's what he gets for messing with The Work
Teri Morasco: Come on, that man has a family.
{Halfway over the top instinct kicks in and Knight lands a couple of well placed knees and wiggles free. However, Rob is one step ahead and flawlessly transitions into a Diamond Cutter through the chairs and table to the floor.
Blue Shoes climbs to the floor to check on both men before beginning his count…

Nine…
Somehow he gets to his feet breaking the count!!!}
Teri Morasco: Nick Knight has now taken two Diamond Cutters and is still in the fight.
Vasco Dias: I want to see a replay of that with a timer, because Knight had to have been down for at least a twenty count. Blue Shoes is a hack, and Tommy Knockers should be officiating this match.
{A look of utter dismay comes onto the face of Rob Diamond when he sees his opponent standing across from him. The two men begin to jaw back and forth as they slowly approach each other. Nick puts his hands behind his back and tells Diamond to take his best shot. "The Sultan of Swat" rears back, but instead of throwing a right he pokes Knight in the eyes before driving the skull of "The Hollywood Butcher" into the floor with a snap DDT.}
Vasco Dias: Ring the bell! There's no way Nick Knight gets up from that.
Teri Morasco: I wouldn't be so sure.
{Rob looks like he's seen a ghost when Knight pops back up to his feet before Blue Shoes can even count to one. Nick takes advantage of Diamond’s monetary hesitation to send "The Face of the Franchise" crashing into the guardrail with an Irish whip followed by a stiff lariat. Rob Diamond is stunned, but Nick is looking for a killshot by sending the leader of The Work flying into the barbed wire spider with a Non-Dairy Creamer.
Diamond begins screaming as he tries to tear free of the steel barbs digging into his flesh. The wire tangles up in his hair and snags his tights. Knight looks at Blue Shoes and asks him to start the count.

SEGMENT
"Not my shoulders"
------------------------------------
{ The scene goes backstage where cameras caught up with Grady Smithson following his debut on the July 15, 2022 episode of Friday Night Sacrifice. Obviously irritated by the result, Grady sits down heavily at his locker room as he rips open his gear bag. IWF interviewer Tiffany Jones walks into frame holding a microphone. }
Tiffany: Grady. Grady. Do you have a moment?
Grady: Grunt.
Tiffany: After almost a decade out of the ring, how did it feel to get back into the ring? Unfortunately, you came up short.
Grady: Grunt.
{ Grady snorts and hawks a loogie onto the floor next to the feet of Tiffany Jones. A true professional, she steps to the side before resuming her job. }
Tiffany: Did you feel you missed a beat? I mean, professional wrestling is a tough sport for people that train every day for it. For someone that’s been out a long--
Grady: Listen, I didn’t lose I--
{ Tiffany Jones cuts him off. }
Tiffany: Well, your hand wasn’t raised in victory...
{ Grady stands up from his seated position and looks down at Tiffany. Sweat dripping off his face before splattering on the ground. He wipes his face with his hand and places it on her shoulder. Obviously disgusted, Tiffany tries to pull away but Grady clamps his paw of a hand down on her shoulder preventing her from moving. }
Grady: But it wasn’t my shoulders on the mat. Why don’t you go and ask Mason Alexander Vanderbilt how it felt to lose in my debut match. If you’re looking for an answer on how it felt to lose that match, he’s the guy to ask. His shoulders were on the mat, he was counting the lights, and he’s the one that lost the match.
{He removes his hand from her shoulder and sits back down. }
Grady: Now, to get back on track it felt good to be back out there. Was it sooner than I was anticipating? Yes but I signed the contract with IWF and should’ve been ready the second it became official. I’m going to come back in better shape and hopefully the ring rust will be off. Would I have liked to have won that match? Of course. Going to the pay window is always a little sweeter when you get the win. Angel Blake’s tough. He’s a hall of famer for a reason. He was a half a step ahead than I was and he got the desired result.
Mason...another great athlete. Another tough competitor. I said my words about you and I meant every one of them. My eyes are set. The last name...it makes my blood boil. I can’t rest until I see your body in a heap on the mat with my hands raised in victory. This isn’t the end. Now, get out of my locker room.
{ Tiffany looks at the camera, nodding in agreement and makes her way to the door as Grady begins unlacing his boots as the scene fades to black. }

HEIR TO THE THRONE QUALIFIER
DEATH CAGE
Stephen Terrella vs James Gilmore
------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is a Death Cage Match! Anything is legal… and the only way to win is by knockout!
{ The camera takes a shot of the ring from a distance, showing the size of the ominous structure known as the Death Cage, complete with scaffolding running across and the various instruments of pain hanging off the cage walls. }
Alison Valance: Introducing first…
{ An instrumental with hook version of "Shell Shocked" by Juicy J, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign, begins to play, and a video package begins to play stock footage of waves crashing, followed by bolts of cloud-to-cloud lightning. }
"Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ As jets of water shoot out from all directions, we tsee James Gilmore stepping out onto the stage, posing along to the hip-hop tune, before high-fiving the crowd and walking down to the cage. }
"(All for one when we fight together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(All for one when we ride together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(All for one when we fight together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(This family can bear any weather)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ Once inside the cage, the Islander alum points heavenward, taking in the moments as he waits for his opponent. }
Alison Valance: And his opponent…
{ The camera takes a long shot of the entryway as and the arena darkens. Smoke begins to rise from the ground atop the stage, cast in a purple hue from the lighting directly overhead as 'Disorder' begins to blare across the speakers. Terrella makes his entrance holding hands with Portia. They take a few steps before stopping to stand side-by-side on the stage, releasing hands. She places her left hand on his right shoulder and runs her right hand down his chest and abdomen as he lowers his glasses down the bridge of his nose before turning for a kiss. }
Alison Valance: About to make his way down the aisle, being accompanied by Portia... standing 6'2"... and weighing in at 309 pounds... from Cold Springs, Nevada... The King Of Clubs... Stephen Terrrrellllllaaaa!
{ Terrella re-positions his sunglasses and begins a slow walk toward the ring, arm-in-arm with Portia, to a chorus of boos. They reach the bottom of the stairs where they release arms. Terrella removes his sunglasses and vest and hands them to Portia. He surveys the arena for a few seconds with a menacing scowl before making a slow march up the stairs and into the cage. Portia applauds for her man from the floor. }
Terri Morasco: Months of warfare is about to come to a crescendo, I just wish it wasn't inside a vile structure like this!
Vasco Dias: Are you kidding?! I wish we had one of these every week, Morasco! And after all the things Gilmore has done to Terrella and Portia, where else could they settle it?!
Terri Morasco: You are unbelievable! You're like their little messenger pigeon up here! Terrella started this! He blamed Gilmore for trying to win a match. Yes, a match! And he's done nothing but blindside Gilmore whenever he can and try to take out his friends!
{ The official for the contest, Tommy Knocker, calls for the opening bell as the two men stare each other down from opposing corners. Gilmore swings an arm before walking toward the center of the ring. After cracking his knuckles, Terrella moves to meet him. Stephen jaws at Gilmore briefly, but Gilmore shuts him up with a right hand that knocks the taste out of Terrella's mouth. James fires off three more right hands in succession to Terrella's chin, driving the big man backwards. With Terrella pushed back near the corner, James puts a boot into Terrella's gut. Gilmore reaches up, pulling the first weapon down off the cage: a kendo stick. }
Vasco Dias: This is going to hurt if you don't get out of there, Terrella!
Terri Morasco: James just cracked Terrella across the chest with that kendo stick!... And there's a shot to Terrella's spine!
Vasco Dias: Poor Portia is being forced to watch this from outside the cage.
Terri Morasco: Poor Portia?! This is a little thing called retribution!
Vasco Dias: I thought retribution was a terrible idea from bad creative, Morasco?
{ Gilmore blisters Terrella across his back with the kendo stick again, causing the King to recoil. James brings the stick down again and again, putting red welts on Terrella's back. With a twirl of the stick, James points to the bleachers, calling his shot, and in true Rangers fashion, swings for the fences! The blow strikes Terrella in the shoulder, and Stephen retreats. }
Terri Morasco: James isn't giving Terrella a moment to breathe, going right after him… which is smart, I think.
Vasco Dias: If it's smart, I promise you someone else told him to do it. James Gilmore is the only person to ever fail an IQ test. They didn't give him a score, Morasco; just an F.
{ James swings for Terrella's side again, but Terrella traps the stick against his body with an arm. Using his free hand, Terrella grabs Gilmore by the throat, powering him backwards until Terrella is able to push James over the top rope. Gilmore lands on the apron, between the ropes and the cage. He doesn't appear much worse for wear though, bringing himself up quickly. Terrella wraps two hands around Gilmore's throat this time, however; lifting him up and ramming the back of his head into the cage a total of ten times as Portia encourages Stephen. }
Terri Morasco: Terrella's power is just scary! He's throwing James against the steel like a small child!
Vasco Dias: That's difference making strength, Morasco!
{ For the first time in the match Terrella reaches for a weapon, pulling down a muffler hanging off the cage. Terrella motions for Gilmore to get up, but James is a little slow after having had his bell rung on the cage. Eventually James is able to pull himself up with the aid of the ropes, though. Stephen charges, ramming the muffler into Gilmore's face! It echos with a thud! Dropping the muffler to the canvas, Terrella reaches over the ropes, dragging Gilmore up by the hair. He hooks James up for a suplex, bringing him up and over the ropes, landing the small of Gilmore's back onto the muffler! }
Vasco Dias: Do we call that a mufflebuster? In all my years of calling wrestling I've never seen someone suplexed onto a muffler!
Terri Morasco: Thank goodness it isn't an every week occurrence. That's a man's body landing on a car part!
Vasco Dias: Good! Actually, because it's Gilmore's body, make that great! I hope Terrella breaks him in two!
{ Stephen reaches into the back pocket of his jeans, retrieving a screwdriver. He manuevers Gilmore into a seated position, standing behind him. Then, in truly heinous fashion, Terrella tries to jam the flat end of the screwdriver into James' good eye! Gilmore pulls both arms up though, grabbing Terrella by the wrist to try and fend the attack off! }
Terri Morasco: I can't watch this! That's a human being!
Vasco Dias: Lighten up, Morasco… pretty soon Gilmore won't be able to watch it either!
Terri Morasco: You're disgusting!
{ Terrella pushes harder, bringing the screwdriver within inches of Gilmore's eye! Gilmore turns his head away to protect his eye, and then bites down on the inside of Terrella's arm. Terrella yells out in pain as Gilmore sinks his teeth in deeper, causing Terrella to drop the weapon. Terrella walks over to Portia's side of the cage, telling her that "the fucker bit me." }
Vasco Dias: That's just great! Where is your outrage now, Morasco?! Terrella is probably going to need a rabies shot after this is over!
Terri Morasco: Good, and I hope it hurts, too!
{ Gilmore picks up Terrella's own screwdriver, and when the big man turns around, Gilmore dives into Terrella with a spear and starts to jab him in the top of the head with it until blood starts to flow from Terrella's dome! Terrella shoves Gilmore off, wiping at the blood coming from his head. James rushes in with a diving dropkick that catches Terrella in the side of the head. Having gained the advantage, Gilmore wastes no time trying to capitalize. He goes out to the apron and hits the 'Power Wave' on Terrella! }
Terri Morasco: James Gilmore put a little something extra on that one, I think! And after everything, how can you blame him?!
Vasco Dias: Ooohh, Morasco… Let me tell you all of the things I blame James Gilmore for! Nick Danger, for starters! That hideous smell hovering around the Deviled Eggs platter in catering. Destroying Terrella's car. The word "dude". Copyright infringement, because I'm pretty sure the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles want their material back….
Terri Morasco: I really need to learn to not phrase things in the form of a question.
{ Gilmore goes over to the side of the cage, pulling off a golf club from it. He kicks Terrella's arm away from his body, pinning it with a boot. To Portia's chagrin, Gilmore shouts, "fore!" Drawing the club back, Gilmore takes a huge swing, driving the nine iron into Terrella's exposed ribs! Stephen rolls around on the canvas in obvious pain. Gilmore tells Tommy Knocker to start the ten count. }

{ Before both the crowd and the official can reach nine, Terrella is up to a knee. He wipes the blood from his head, clutching his ribs. He looks at Gilmore with a sneer, then stands straight up. Gilmore goes to swing the club again, but Terrella catches it and rips it from James' hands. Staring down Gilmore, Terrella bends the club in the center with his bare hands and discards it! }
{ James Gilmore doesn't back down, though. He ducks under a huge clothesline attempt from Terrella that was meant to take his head off, and grabs Terrella around the waist. The big man resists, but Gilmore is able to show off his own strength with a German suplex on the three hundred pounder! Then in a callback to his match against Angel Blake, where James won the World Title, he goes to a cage wall to pull down a steel chair. James sets the steel chair up in the ring then looks to a hanging table. Gilmore takes the table down and stands it up over the steel chair. }
Terri Morasco: What is James doing?
Vasco Dias: Do you remember the last Death Cage he was in, Morasco? But there's no possible way… he can't… Terrella is HUGE…
Terri Morasco: James is… he's fighting to get Terrella up into the 'Hang Ten'!
Vasco Dias: We need to test Gilmore for steroids!
Terri Morasco: Gilmore?! Really?! Out of the two guys in the cage, that's your suspect?!
{ After the struggle, Gilmore is able to hoist Terrella up and put him through the table with the 'Hang Ten'! Terrella's back collides with the point of the chair! Gilmore isn't done yet, though! For good measure, he pulls a leather strap off the cage wall. Kicking away debris from the table, Gilmore starts to whip the wounded Terrella with the strap repeatedly! }
Terri Morasco: James is wearing Terrella out!
Vasco Dias: Try not to sound so damn happy about it, Morasco!
{ Gilmore spikes the strap into the canvas as the crowd roars. Gilmore points to the scaffolding, almost polling the crowd if they want him to go up. The answer he gets is a resounding "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Portia rattles the cage, screaming at Gilmore, which he ignores. James uses the cage to slowly make his climb, carefully pulling himself up and onto the scaffold. Throwing caution to the wind, Gilmore leaps off the scaffold for a diving headbutt! But Terrella is a little more coherent than he let on, putting the steel chair up! Gilmore eats the chair! }
Vasco Dias: That's why you don't listen to these idiots in the crowd, Morasco! They'll get your teeth knocked out!
Terri Morasco: Tommy Knocker is checking on Gilmore. This entire building is holding their collective breath.
Vasco Dias: Not Terrella. He's catching his!
{ Terrella wipes the blood from his head as he gets to a knee, seething. Terrella stands the rest of the way up as Portia screams for him to "kill him!" Shoving Tommy aside, Terrella snatches Gilmore up and just hurls him into the cage wall! Repeating the process on the other three sides, the King is starting to smell blood! He grabs a large purple bag hanging on the cage wall, ripping it down and dumping broken shards of glass all over the canvas! }
Terri Morasco: I know Terrella has evil intentions! I know it!
Vasco Dias: News flash, Morasco- it's a Death Cage! Of course he does!
{ Taking a broken piece of glass off the canvas, Terrella starts to dig into Gilmore's forehead with it! }
Vasco Dias: I think he's literally writing "F-U" in Gilmore's flesh!
Terri Morasco: I hate this match! It's barbaric!
{ Gilmore face is adorned with a crimson mask as Terrella finishes carving. Blood dripping from his own hand as he drops the glass, Terrella flashes a sadistic grin. In one quick motion, Terrella pulls Gilmore up, tossing him onto the broken glass with the 'Diffuser'! }
Terri Morasco: My gosh, no!
Vasco Dias: Gilmore looks like he's been in a car wreck! And he kinda has!
{ Terrella yells at Tommy Knocker to "count his ass down", and the official happily obliges. Portia gloats on the outside as the ten count starts… }
One!

{ Somehow, some way, Gilmore finds the strength to get to his knees. The glass crunches as Gilmore's hands and knees move across it in a crawl, but he motions for Terrella to bring him more fight. Terrella rubs his own face in anger. }
Vasco Dias: That idiot should've stayed down! Why does he enjoy making Terrella mad?! Doesn't he realize what Terrella will do to him?
Terri Morasco: James Gilmore is never going to give up! He's never going to quit! He's going to fight with everything he has against people like Terrella, and like the Work, the same way he always has!
{ Terrella moves in, pulling Gilmore up and throwing him into the glass with a second 'Diffuser'! Not stopping there, Terrella does it a third time! He flips Gilmore off, then does it for a fourth time! James face, chest and shoulder has been bloodied from the glass. Terrella's own body has been carved up like an onion. Stephen remains relentless, dropping Gilmore for a fifth time with the move in the glass! }
Terri Morasco: Someone stop this! The ring is nothing but a river of blood!
Vasco Dias: That's A Positive! You see what I did right there, Morasco?
Terri Morasco: How can you make jokes?!
{ Terrella looms over Gilmore, clutching his own back from the damage he suffered to it earlier. He is gassed from the string of burning hammers he just dished out, and puts a boot on Gilmore's face both to press it into the glass and buy himself a moment to recover. Portia encourages Terrella to finish it. Removing his boot from Gilmore's head, Terrella lifts James up. He almost has to fight to keep Gilmore upright, but manages to deliver his heart punch straight into Gilmore's chest. Portia shouts at the official to start the count. }

{ The official calls for the bell when Gilmore isn't able to answer the ten count. }
Terri Morasco: I hope we don't see another match like this in the IWF for a very long time. These men's careers -their lives- may never be the same after tonight.
Vasco Dias: Terrella said they were playing for blood, and he clearly meant it. I loved it, though! And best of all, Terrella is going into Heir to the Throne after picking up this win!
{ 'Disorder' hits as the cage door is unlocked. Terrella looks down at Gilmore with nothing but hatred, flipping him off one final time. As Terrella makes his way to the cage door, Portia comes over to meet him. }
Alison Valance: Your winner of the match by knockout… Stephen Terrella!!
{ Bloodied and battered himself, Terrella puts an arm over Portia to steady himself. They walk up the ramp as the crowd boos. On their way up, they pass EMTs going to check on Gilmore, almost bringing a smile to Terrella's face. He looks back at his work one more time, relishing in what he's done. }

IWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES MATCH
1K RP Word Limit
Arthur Lucideous vs Dane Preston(c)
------------------------------------
{ Arthur Lucideus walks down to the ring and plays along to his theme with a saxophone, once the saxophone part ends he starts dancing and singing along to his theme and walks slowly down to the ring as the crowd boo him on, once he gets in the ring he takes off his shirt and bowtie and gives them to ringside personnel. We pan to the announcer’s desk, where Fiona McFly has voluntarily thrown aside her Revolution hat to join the commentary team. }
Terri Morasco: Arthur’s looking to make some history here tonight.
Vasco Dias: Let’s hope so. This guy’s got some serious balls!
Fiona McFly: Disposition aside, he’s a high-flying daredevil. He’s gonna be very hard to keep on the ground if you’re Dane Preston…
{ Suddenly the lights in the [insert venue name here] go out, plunging the [insert city and state here] fans into darkness. A lit fuze sizzles across the video screen, leading to an explosion of pyro around the entrance stage. The sound of a gunshot and a car peeling out, then the opening guitar riff for No Resolve’s “UNKILLABLE” shred across the PA speakers. }
I MET THE DEVIL
HE WANTED ME DEAD
BUT INSTEAD
I PUT A MOTHERFUCKIN’
BULLET IN HIS HEAD
YEAH!
{ Dane Preston's silhouette can be seen slowly coming through the curtains as he steps out onto the stage. Nodding his masked head to the beat of the music, he extends an arm in front of him, the other behind him as he struts down the ramp. A single spotlight shines down on the six foot, three inch, two hundred and fifty-five pound fighter as he slowly stalks his way to the ring, clad in a sleeveless leather duster. }
YOU BROKE ME DOWN, THE CUTS AND THE BRUISES
I HOLD THE KNIFE NOW, I'M CUTTING MY NOOSES
I WEAR THE BLOOD STAINS LIKE BADGES OF HONOR
I'LL TAKE EVERY BULLET BECAUSE I'M A SURVIVOR
BITCH!
{ After scaling the ring steps, Preston slowly snaps his head from side to side before climbing into the ring and shrugging off his duster. He makes his way to his corner and climbs to the second rope where he points finger guns at the fans before snatching his mask off his head and throwing it out to them. Hopping down, Dane squats in the corner, arms outstretched as he grips the second rope with both hands, waiting for the bell. }
Vasco Dias: Speakin’ of which, Fi – that’s Dane F’n Preston to you!
Terri Morasco: The new World TV champ is here, looking to impress in his first title defense.
Fiona McFly: I’ve been impressed with the newer talent coming in from the other independent promotions. Dane’s no exception; he’s essentially a mixed martial artist, which makes him really good with two things – strikes and submissions. I’d try to go for Arthur’s legs, keep him on the mat at all costs.
[DING!]
{ This match lasted for a good twenty minutes or so, with both men giving it everything they had. Early on, Artur got the upper hand with a pair of dropkicks that seemed to stun the much larger Dane Preston, then following it up with a pair of chops in the corner before shooting him into the ropes. Preston bounces off the ropes and into a savage-looking pumphandle slam for a two-count from Blue Shoes. Arthur takes a moment to moment to pose for the ladies at ringside – including veteran actress Tilda Swinton, who made an appearance at a teaser reveal party for the new Lunar Whale movie the night before. Arthur sees Dane getting back up and helps him the rest of the way...before firing off a series of European uppercuts before sending him for the ride once more. Dane bounces off the strands and eats a flying forearm for dinner; then Arthur heads up to the top rope and flies, connecting with an elbow drop that gets him a two-count! He then smirks from ear to ear as he poses for Fiona at ringside, who doesn’t seem too amused by the display of arrogance. }
Terri Morasco: Wasting a little time here…
Vasco Dias: He’s just doin’ what he wants to do!
Fiona McFly: I wouldn’t be looking at me if I were you, Arthur…
{ Apparently, Arthur forgot to hear that last bit...because Dane has managed to pull himself back to a vertical base and blast him with a pair of knee strikes to the chest and the face! Dane throws Arthur into the ropes before executing a flawless Judo throw before transitioning into a headlock. Blue Shoes checks on Arthur to see if he’s okay, Dane tightens the pressure longer as he also fires off several open-handed strikes to the temple. Eventually, Arthur is able to squirm free of the headlock, but his momentum is short-lived as he takes a short-armed clothesline that sends him head over heels! Dane would connect with a release German suplex to score a two-count of his own, but unlike Arthur, he follows that up with a face drop that sends his opponent crashing into his knee! Dane goes for the pin and gets the two-count… }
Fiona McFly: Impressive stuff from Dane here. I think Arthur’s got to be a little more quick on the reflexes.
{ The match soon turned into a battle of wills, with neither man getting a distinctive advantage as the minutes ticked on. We hit the 15:30 mark, and Arthur finally has Dane dead to rights. He stalks his opponent before firing off a massive Alpha Male superkick! Arthur decides to showboat for Fiona – and her co-star Tilda Swinton – before going for the cover and getting a close two-count. Arthur starts arguing with the longtime zebra, who simply holds up the dreaded two fingers! Arthur reaches down and tries to pull Dane back up...only to take a solid right to the ribs, followed by a second, and then an elbow to the noggin! Dane grabs Arthur and nails him with his Machismo fallaway slam – only to get a close count of two as well! }
Terri Morasco: Who wants this match the most?!
Vasco Dias: Ya gotta think Arthur’s willin’ to do what it takes to strike back!
Fiona McFly: Whoever makes the fewest mistakes will win this thing. Either way, I’m really thrilled for both these guys.
{ Arthur wound up making a last gasp attempt at a comeback, nailing Dane with his patented punt kick he dubs Gift From A God! But once again, it’s Arthur’s arrogance that does him in as he doesn’t try and go for the cover! He’s so interested in Fiona, who simply ekes out a cheeky grin on her face, he’s completely unaward that Preston has pulled himself to a kneeling position! Fiona gives a curt nod, subtly reminding Arthur to turn around, and as he does so...BAM!!! Dane catches Arthur, whips him into the ropes, and hits him with his dreaded 1SK superkick! At 20:25, Dane F’n Preston goes for the pin and gets the three-count! }
Alison Valance: Here is your winner...and STILL...World Television Champion – DANE F’N PRESTON!!!
Vasco Dias: Dammit!!
Terri Morasco: There you have it! What a match that was!!
Fiona McFly: In big title matches like this, you can’t afford to showboat. Arthur did that one too many times and paid the price. That being said...I’ve love to see these two compete against each other again sometime.

MODify Your Thinking
---------------------------------
{ A black and white image of a cemetery comes onto the screen. You can hear someone breathing as the camera moves past tombstone after tombstone until it comes to a freshly dug grave. Slowly the shot pans up from the packed earth to the tombstone itself and for the first time you are able to read that it says Lucipher Cross 1985-2022. The person holding the camera throws a heavy leather bound book onto the ground, followed by a match. In a matter of seconds the tomb is engulfed in flames and as it is burning the words MODify Your Thinking comes onto the screen in old english script. }

IWF MEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES MATCH
Pax Stormcrow vs JC Keeton(c)
------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: “JC keeton advised that Pax Stormcrow could keep his briefcase for this match. Either way, this is a highly anticipated match up between Pax Stormcrow and JC Keeton.”
Vasco Dias: “That it is Terri, now let’s turn it over to Alison Valance, who’s standing ringside for the introductions.”
Alison Valance: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is for the IWF Men’s World Championship...your winner will be decided by pin fall. And now...your challenger…”
{The crowd buzzes in anticipation.}
Alison Valance: “Hailing from Aitkin Minnesota, standing at 6’2’, weighing in at 240 pounds… 2022’s Joker in the Pack winner… PAX STORMCROW!
{The lights in the arena dim, and there is the sound of a powerup collected in an old video game system. At the sound, the crowd leap to their feet with cheers A beat is laid out, filling the arena with the sounds of a Midi file. The lights pulse in time with the music. As they flash as the beat trembles, an explosion of sparks rocks the entrance stage. Pax walks out onto the stage, looKeeton around as the crowd bursts into cheers. He gives a smirk as the chanting on Suplex by A Tribe Called Red kicks in.
He stands at the top of the ramp, lifting his right fist into the air with his head down, bobbing his hooded head along with the music before marching down to the ring. He slides into the ring and jumps onto the second turnbuckle, throwing his hood off and hyping up the crowd with yells before slipping his coat off and letting it fall to the ground.}
Vasco Dias: “Focused as always, Pax Stomcrow embodies the sense of pure wrestling in the wrestling business.”
Terri Morasco: “He has drawn comparisons to many young stars as well.”
Alison Valance: “And now….your IWF Men’s World Title Champion...hailing from Lexington, KY, weighing in at two hundred and twenty one pounds, standing at six feet, one inche….JC KEETON!”
{The beat to "Born Legendary" by Emanuel Vo Williams hits.}
I crawled out the gutter
I rose to the top
My reign everlasting
I can’t be stopped
I was made for the throne
Rise up til I moan
You been waiting on a ruler
Well I’m home
{As soon as he says the word "Home" pyro explodes from the rampway as JC Keeton steps through the curtain. He makes his way to the ring bouncing in rhythm to the music. When he reaches the ring he leaps up onto the apron and steps through the ropes, He continues to sway and bounce from heel to heel as he awaits the match to start.}
Vasco Dias: “Sharp as a knife, and focused as a laser. JC Keeton who may be the most dangerous man to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots.”
Terri Morasco: “I mean he did recently decided to stop pretending to be a good guy.”
{The two men take their corners, as the referee holds the World Title belt up in the center of the ring, before walkingover handing it to Alison Valance, who goes over to the timekeeper table.}
Terri Morasco: “You can feel the fire in the air, Pax and JC have yet to break eye contact since entered the ring.”
Vasco Dias: “You want to talk about explosive elements….this match is JC’s first defense after Wraith...”
{Finally, the referee calls for the bell. Stormcrow and JC slowly make their way out of their corners. Eyes still locked as they begin to circle each other beginning their dance. Stormcrow looks for the lockup, but JC slides out of the way as Keeton pops to his feet, Stormcrow spins around, not giving JC his back for a moment. Wagging his finger, JC mocks Stormcrow who still keeps his cool as he takes a few steps forward lookingfor a lock up again, as JC uses his agility, rolling away, keeping the distance from Stormcrow, who whips around keeping his eyes on Keeton.}
Terri Morasco: “JC Keeton is trying to use his speed, and technical skill to keep away from Stormcrow.”
Vasco Dias: “But how far can JC run?”
Terri Morasco: “I think this will boil down to who gets the first strike in.”
{Stormcrow slowly makes his way forward, keeping his hands up. JC waves his finger once more, but as soon as Stormcrow steps within range. JC fires off a Deadlift Gutwrench Suplex! Stormcrow barely gets his head back in time, narrowly avoiding the suplex. JC spins, catching his balance but Stormcrow capitalizes locKeeton up with JC, forcing Keeton into the corner before throwing some hard jabs into the gut of JC Keeton. Realizing the situation he’s in, JC doesn’t grab onto the ropes, but slides his elbows down trying to block some of the strikes. Pax catches JC on the elbow, throwing Stormcrow off enough as JC throws a knee into the gut of Pax Stormcrow, slipping behind him. Keeton wraps his arms firmly around the stomach of Stormcrow. JC looks for a german suplex, but Stormcrow blocks it slipping his leg behind JC’s, throwing a elbow aimed for Keeton’s head, Keeton ducks as Stormcrow spins around, and JC rises up with a Belly-to-Belly suplex, showing off his power tossing Stormcrow to the center of the ring from the corner!}
Vasco Dias: “What a great exchange, but JC Keeton showing off incredible awareness!”
Terri Morasco: “In a standard match, a competitor would grab the ropes to break the strikes up. But JC realizes he can’t afford using one of his rope breaks early in this match up.”
Vasco Dias: “But going off your logic, Pax got the first strikes in…”
Terri Morasco: “I think JC was caught off guard, that Bare Your Throat kick is dangerous, and it was possible Keeton thought he could get that catch you off guard knock out.”
Vasco Dias: “Pax has done his homework, he’s not racing into this match. He’s being methodical, which is a great sign of maturity.”
{Pax rolls to a knee, his eyes transfixed on JC. Clutching his lower back slightly, Stormcrow gets back on his feet. JC stands there for a moment, shrugging his shoulders as he holds his hands out shrugging his shoulders, mocking Pax. Who nods, before stepping forward quickly, catching JC off guard with a lock up. Pax looks to play a power game, which JC has the advantage as JC shoves him backward, laughing slightly, but Stormcrow stays focused coming forward again, forcing JC into a lock up. Keeton shoves him back one more time, a little further this time. Stormcrow takes a deep breath, before stepping up into it, as the two lock up. Keeton throws him back further, forcing Pax into the ropes. JC aims a vicious lariat, with enough force to take Pax’s head off, but Pax ducks, running across, leaping into the air, catching the top rope, as he adjusts his body, springboarding into JC Keeton who’s turning around at the wrong time to catch a vicious sling blade!}
Terri Morasco: “This...this is just not gonna work! Pax Stormcrow cannot play the power game, he will lose!”
Vasco Dias: “He wants to prove something to JC Keeton, that money, and status, you can’t just throw your weight around like that. It’s proven in the ring.”
Terri Morasco: “Wouldn’t beating Keeton prove that enough?”
Vasco Dias: “I don’t think Stormcrow wants to just beat JC Keeton, he was the mountain-esc task of humbling the Night Keeton!”
{Clutching the side of his neck, JC rolls away putting some distance away from Pax. Who looks like the hungry wolf he is, getting to his own feet, eyes transfixed on JC once again. Crawling over to the ring ropes, JC picks himself up, stumbling a bit into the corner, his back to Pax. Pax charges forward now, looking to keep his momentum up. JC slips out of the way as Pax runs chest first into the corner! As Pax stumbles out of the corner, JC quickly lifts Pax up into the air, before dropping Pax face first into the turnbuckle with a snake eyes! Pax clutches his face falling back wards onto his back as JC stands there smirking, before cracking his neck slightly.}
Terri Morasco: “Pax might have shifted into that second gear too soon..”
Vasco Dias: “I think JC baited Stormcrow right into that…”
Terri Morasco: “You don’t think JC was ready for all of that?”
Vasco Dias: “JC Keeton is a man with a plan, for everything. Don’t doubt that mind, Pax may be the most dangerous man in Imperial, but JC Keeton is the smartest.”
{Pax seems frazzled as the referee checks on him to see if he’s still conscious. Pax shoves the referee away, as he forces himself to his feet clutching his face. JC shakes his head, taunting Pax once more in this contest. But before Pax can mount any offense, JC grabs him, sending a hard headbutt right into the forehead of Stormcrow where the turnbuckle had already done damage. Pax looking dazed staggers back a bit, before charging forward clobbering JC across the side of the head with a forearm. JC staggers back into the corner, as Pax charges forward. JC quickly steps to the side once more, but Pax learned his lesson, showing off some acrobatic abilities he leaps to the top turnbuckle, launching himself at JC Keeton! But Keeton catches Stormcrow in the air, using his momentum against him, JC goes to slam Stormcrow with a spine buster, but JC catches Stormcrow a little low, and as they come down Pax is able to turn it into Single Leg Boston Crab with an Armlock!}
Vasco Dias: “No...Stormcrow...DON’T DO IT!”
Terri Morasco: “HOLY MOLY!”
Vasco Dias: “The Broken Wing!”
{Vasco’s excitement is overshadowed as the crowd erupts in a craze as Pax nails the finisher as Keeton flounders a bit, before growing still on the mat. Pax rolls a bit, clutching his back from the impact, but forces himself through the pain to his feet. The referee leans down to check on JC Keeton, before starting his count.}
Referee: “One….”
Vasco Dias: “There’s no way JC Keeton is getting up after that…”
Terri Morasco: “The Broken Wing and Peace Out! That’s two of Pax Stormcrow’s best moves...I don’t think anyone could get up from that.”
Vasco Dias: “Pax may be out...but how much damage did JC to do himself?…”
Referee: “Two…”
Terri Morasco: “JC Keeton is not moving…”
Vasco Dias: “Speaking of biting –?”
Terri Morasco: “I...don’t know Vasco, I can’t imagine…”
Referee: “Three…”
{JC stirs a bit, rolling onto his stomach. Stormcrow looks a bit shocked, but he smiles. Knowing JC wouldn’t stay down, the excitement rolled up his spine. Pax marches over to Keeton, before throwing a hard kick right into JC’s gut. JC is nearly lifted off the ground from the impact as he rolls away, trying to put distance between himself and Pax Stormcrow. kicking JC once more, JC flips over onto his back, clutching his stomach. Pax looks towards the ropes, before charging forward leaping to the turnbuckle, hopping onto the ring ropes for a Dragon Screw!}
Vasco Dias: “Pax going for another knockout blow here!”
Terri Morasco: “I don’t think JC can survive this onslaught!”
{Pax crashes to the mat, finding no JC Keeton, as he misses the Fatal Frame. JC barely managed to get himself out of the way. Stormcrow is on his knees, body barely being held up by his forehead which is on the mat as he clutches his stomach. Keeton staggers to his feet, trying to shake it off and catch his breath. He holds up his hands, mocking not only Stormcrow, but the crowd now, before pointing to his temple to indicate that he is smarter than anyone else.}
Terri Morasco: “Pax barely missed that…”
Vasco Dias: “JC Keeton is brilliant, and he isn’t afraid to show it!”
Terri Morasco: “He might want to capitalize on this now, and not taunt everyone who can see.”
Vasco Dias: “First of all, don’t hate on the blind. Second, JC Keeton is great, and these people deserve to be reminded off it at any moment possible!”
{Sauntering over to Stormcrow, JC looks down, lifting Pax’s head up before smacking him across the face. Grabbing the champion by the hair arm, Keeton drags Stormcrow over right next to the ring ropes, before locking in a crossface submission!}
Vasco Dias: “...Oh my god…”
Terri Morasco: “What is JC doing?!”
Vasco Dias: “Think about it Terri, you get two rope breaks. By moving Stormcrow over to the ropes, it’s a game of strategy.”
Terri Morasco: “Make Stormcrow use the rope?”
Vasco Dias: “If Stormcrow immediately reaches for the rope, Pax would have one rope break left, and he might be more hurt than we think...if he fights it, and tries to reverse it, JC has worn him down. The strategy on play…”
Terri Morasco: “It’s scary that JC Keeton turns wrestling matches into 4D chess…”
{Pax eats the pain, trying to hold it back. Stormcrow doesn’t waste time, reaching out for the rope to break the hold. JC makes sure to hold it on for the four counts, before breaking it making sure not to accidentally get himself disqualified. Getting to his knees, JC studies Stormcrow for a moment, who’s retracted his arm to his center, trying to shake out any of the damage that JC Keeton may have inflicted in the short time submission. JC moves down Pax a bit, before stomping at the back of Stormcrow’s knee.}
Vasco Dias: “And...here goes the planning…”
Terri Morasco: “What now?”
Vasco Dias: “Got his arm for a bit, the head has taken some damage, the midsection got some damage too...Now Stormcrow is an agile fellow, how do you take it out, and keep focusing the body damage?”
Terri Morasco: “The leg...it’s hard for a high flying risk taker, to do high flying risk taking moves with one leg.”
{JC smirks, stomping down on the back of Stormcrow’s right knee, before twisting the heel of his boot right in that fleshy area where the knee bends. Stormcrow tries to move, but JC grabs onto the rope before lifting himself up and down putting the full two hundred and forty pounds onto the back of Pax Stormcrow’s knee. Kneeling down, JC lifts the leg up as high as he can go before slamming it down onto the mat with a thunderous impact! JC drops his own knee onto the back of Stormcrow’s knee, before twisting the leg back with a modified single leg Boston crab! Stormcrow flails a bit, digging his face into the mat trying to fight through the pain. Lifting himself up, Stormcrow looks around seeing he’s further from the ring ropes than before, as he reaches out, barely able to scratch the rope with a fingertip. JC leans back on the hold, forcing it in deeper.}
JC Keeton: “TAP OUT! TAP OUT Stormcrow!”
{Stormcrow shakes his head viciously, before extending his arm out once more, and gets that extra inch, getting his fingertips on the ropes. Hearing the referee count, JC makes sure to hold the hold back as long as he can, before quickly breaking it, holding his hands out feigning innocence. Stormcrow immediately rolls across the ring, holding his knee now, realizing he’s in a tough position.}
Terri Morasco: “This is looking bad for the champion…”
Vasco Dias: “JC Keeton forced Stormcrow to use both of his rope breaks, Stormcrow’s hurt…”
Terri Morasco: “Sometimes wounded animals can be the most deadly…”
Vasco Dias: “Wounded animals need to be put down, and JC Keeton is going to do that here tonight!”
{licking his lips, JC makes his way across the ring, sauntering keeping his eyes transfixed on Pax who is lifting himself up using the ropes. Hobbling a bit once he reaches his feet, Pax begins to hop away, JC keeps moving slowly like a horror movie slasher, hunting down the slut. The referee moves to the side, letting Pax by, but JC steps in front of him cutting off the ring. shhaking his head, JC grabs Pax by the side of the head, before knocking him back with a hard right hand. Pax staggers a bit, falling into the ropes. He rebounds out, as JC goes to pick him up. Pax shifts his hips and Stormcrow looks like he’s reversed it into a hurricanrana, but Stormcrow flips out the back, slamming JC down face first onto the mat, before throwing Keeton’s arm over, Saito Suplex!}
Vasco Dias: “...Did Pax just…”
Terri Morasco: “Yeah.”
{ JC reaches out with his hand, trying to get to the ropes, but Pax doesn’t give him the satisfaction, rolling the hold over, now JC Keeton is trapped and in the center of the ring!}
Vasco Dias: “JC Keeton might tap out right here!”
Terri Morasco: “Stormcrow has to end it here, if he pushes any further...I don’t think he can pull off a Roulette win..”
Vasco Dias: “Right now, it’s not about later, it’s about now, it’s about this war between these two Gladiators!”
{JC is holding his hand up, clenching it in a fist, shaking it in the air trying to figure his way out of this. Pax wrenches the hold back, trying to inflict the maximum amount of damage. JC’s arm begins to shake less and less, before slowly hitting the mat with a thud. Stormcrow’s eyes grow big, as he’s hitting a point of exhaustion. The referee leans down, checking JC Keeton for a moment, before lifting Keeton arm into the air, as it falls limply to the mat. The referee holds his hand up to indicate that JC has failed to respond to the check.}
Vasco Dias: “This isn’t lookin good, JC may be out…”
Terri Morasco: “...A valiant effort from Keeton, but Stormcrow is one of the best for a reason…”
{The referee goes to lift JC’s hand once more, but before he can drop it, a soft thud is heard, as something shiny hits the referee in the foot. Looking up, we see someone outside the ring as thrown something in the ring. As he stands up, JC surges for a moment, rolling to the left catching Pax off guard, as the two men roll into the back of the referee’s legs sending him falling down. The object flies into the air crashing down as Pax and JC are laid out apart from each other.}
Vasco Dias: “The hell did that fan throw into the ring?!”
Terri Morasco: “Who can say?!”
{JC and Pax both make eye contact, before looking down at whatever the fan had thrown into the ring, as they both begin to crawl forward, a race to whoever can reach it first.}
Vasco Dias: “Oh no…”
Terri Morasco: “What?”
Vasco Dias: “Those are brass knuckles!”
{JC lunges forward, grabbing the brass knuckles first, as Pax immediately pushes the mat, getting to his feet realizing he has to play it smart. Looking over, the referee is still down, holding his knee. JC capitalizes on the minor distraction as he catches Pax Stormcrow right across the temple, opening up a cut to Pax’s head as Stormcrow is knocked out onto the mat. JC quickly drops the brass knuckles, kicking them away from the scene of the crime, as he staggers onto the ropes to hold himself up. Looking down at his handiwork as Pax Stormcrow is laid out.}
Terri Morasco: “JC Keeton with the Brass Knuckles to open Pax Stormcrow up, and knock him down…”
Vasco Dias: “Both men have held an advantage, and I thought this match was over at least twice now...but Pax Stormcrow has to be knocked out…”
Terri Morasco: “But like this…”
Vasco Dias: “These two men are here for a fight, and there will be one winner. The referee can’t see it, he can’t do anything about it. These are the rules between the two fighters themselves.”
{JC smirks, realizing Stormcrow might have pushed him further than he imagined he could have. Making his way over to check his handiwork, Stormcrow is clearly out. Glancing around, JC’s eye begins to twitch slightly realizing the referee hasn’t begun his count. The fans however are.}
crowd: “ONE!....TWO!....THREE!”
Vasco Dias: “Pax is out, but the referee isn’t able to count! A blessing in diguise?!”
Terri Morasco: “Even if it’s for a few seconds, it might be just what Stormcrow needs to not lose his title right here and now.”
Crowd: “FOUR….FIVE….SIX….”
{JC rushes over, berating the referee who’s still clutching his knee in pain. JC grabs the referee, lifting him up with ease to his feet. The referee stumbles a bit, holding his knee, leaping up and down.}
Crowd: “...SEVEN….EIGHT…..NINE…”
Vasco Dias: “And if these fans were licensed officials...Pax Stormcrow would have lost his title…”
Terri Morasco: “I...can’t believe it…”
{JC shoves the referee forward, who checks Pax Stormcrow, realizing he’s down and out, the referee proceeds to count.}
Referee: “ONE!”
{JC Keeton begins to storm back and forth, stepping to the referee, as he points to the crowd. Arguing the fact that Stormcrow has been out for a while! The referee shakes his head, explaining that he has to do the count!}
Vasco Dias: “JC Keeton is furious!”
Terri Morasco: “The ref has to count it like you said…”
Referee: “TWO!.....THREE!....FOUR!....”
{Stepping back, JC crouches down in the corner watching Stormcrow carefully, suddenly the crowd gets his attention with heckling, as he turns to mock them in response.}
Referee: “FIVE….SIX…..SEVEN….”
Terri Morasco: “This...we are technically at a sixteen count at this point…”
Referee: Crowd: “...EIGHT…..NINE…TEN!”
Vasco Dias: “JC Keeton HAS DONE IT!”
Terri Morasco: “JC managed it…”
Vasco Dias: “What a picture. You have to bet this is one for the scrapbook.”
Terri Morasco: “Pax Stormcrow put on a helluva fight, and you have to think he earned a ton of respect from these fans and the fellas in the back. JC Keeton isn’t an easy opponent, and he made JC earn it tonight.”
Alison Valance: “YOUR WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION…JC KEETON!

SINGLES MATCH
Caroline Machado vs Shelly Diamond (c)
------------------------------------
{ Pawns and Kings by Alter Bridge plays are we shown highlights of everything that has led us to the Women’s World Title match tonight. We see clips of Caroline earning the match as well as Shelly trying to injure Fiona McFly. Once it wraps up we are taken to the commentators booth. }
Vasco Dias: Welcome to the main event of the evening!
Terri Morasco: This whole night has been about the Work and the Revolution and we are about to see their final singles match! The biggest match on the card, perhaps! Shelly Diamond defends against Caroline Machado!
Vasco Dias: It’s been quite the journey to get here! Why wait any longer!?
"Her ongoing mission...to boldly go where no one has gone before..."
{ The voice of Sir Patrick Stewart echoes throughout the arena before Dua Lipa's "Levitating" begins to blare. A blast a pyro goes off as Caroline Machado heads out to the stage, dancing to the beat of the tune while sporting a brief, but warmhearted grin on her face. }
"(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I got you, moonlight, you're my starlight
I need you, all night
Come on, dance with me
(I'm levitating)
You, moonlight, you're my starlight
I need you, all night
Come on, dance with me
(I'm levitating)"
{ The Brazilian shimmies and twirls down the ramp, often stopping to give some lucky fans a hug or two. Her motion is fluid as she makes her way down to the ring, again dancing to the beats. }
"You can fly away with me tonight
You can fly away with me tonight
Baby, let me take you for a ride
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(I'm levitating)
You can fly away with me tonight
You can fly away with me tonight
Baby, let me take you for a ride
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)..."
{ The lights fade out to a rotating green and yellow hue, with Caroline continuing to dance and pose for the cheering crowd. Eventually, the lights come back on as she gets into her MMA fighting position and waits for the match to start. }
Vasco Dias: Caroline says she’s been studying the tapes of the champion, she says she’s ready, we are about to find out!
Terri Morasco: To date no one has been able to defeat Shelly Diamond in an IWF ring, we’ll see how Caroline’s training has paid off!
{ The lights in the arena dim to a dull grey as smoke emits from the ramp way. Envy by Ice Nine Kills hits the pa as the lights in the arena turn bright white. As the song really kicks in the lights die down to a normal level to reveal Shelly Diamond standing on the ramp with the IWF Women's World Championship over her shoulder. }
Say what you want, the jealousy's absolute!
You've already got the claws diggin' into you!
You're hopelessly green, like the sickness you feed!
The greed never leaves, it just lies and deceives!
Believe me! This envy, it's gonna be the end!
{ Shelly holds the IWF Women's World Championship up over her head as pyro erupts behind her. Once the light show dies down she begins to strut her way toward the ring to the beat of the music. Shelly walks up the steps, climbing up the outside of the ropes before throwing the IWF Women's World Championship up over her head again as the lights in the arena turn up to a blinding level. When the lights return to normal she is now standing in the center of the ring, ready and waiting. }
Terri Morasco: Shelly has also been preparing for this match. Her training routine is unlike almost anyone in pro wrestling.
Vasco Dias: She’s a determined champion who’s on the cusp of making history. But will Caroline be able to de rail those plans? We will find out!
{ The two women stand in the center of the ring as we are taken to Alison Valance }
Alison Valance: The following is scheduled for ONE FALL! And it is for the IWF Women’s World Championship! To my left! She is the challenger… CAROLINE MACHADO!
{ Caroline steps out of the corner to loud cheers from the crowd. }
Alison Valance: And to my right is the champion… SHELLY DIAMOND!
{ Shelly steps out of the corner holding the championship over her head as the crowd boos. Shelly hands the title off to Blue Shoes who shows it to Caroline before passing it off to the time keeper. }
Vasco Dias: The introductions are over! It’s time for the main event!
{ Blue Shoes calls for the bell and Shelly explodes out her corner and across the ring catching Caroline with a devastating European Upper Cut that sends the challenger crashing backward into her corner of the ring! }
Vasco Dias: Shelly right out the gate showing off a new move she’s added to her arsenal!
Terri Morasco: That was incredible!
Vasco Dias: Caroline may already be done for and the match just started!
{ Shelly pushes Blue Shoes out of the way who is telling her to let Caroline get up. Shelly charges in head strong but Caroline grabs the champion with a drop toe hold and sends Shelyl face first into the second turnbuckle! Caroline immediately pounces on the champion and begins to unleash elbow strikes into the face of Shelly Diamond! Blue Shoes is reprimanding Caroline but the challenger isn’t listening as she’s got Shelly down in the corner! }
Vasco Dias: Maybe I spoke too soon! Caroline just turned this right around!
Terri Morasco: Caroline has a lot to fight for! The Work and the Revolution have been feuding for months! And Shelly tried to injure Caroline’s trainer, Fiona!
Vasco Dias: Caroline is certainly showing how bad she wants to beat Shelly right here!
{ Finally Caroline gets off of the champion as Blue Shoes comes in to check on her. Shelly once again pushes Blue Shoes away and gets back to her feet. Caroline comes right back in and the two women engage in a strike contest. Caroline hauls off with a palm strike across the chest of the champion but Shelly fires right back with palm strike across the face of the challenger! Caroline looks stunned for a moment and then the two of them just unleash on each other. Back and forth with palm strikes to the head and chest of each other. Neither one is backing down and the crowd is already on their feet in the opening few minutes of this match! }
Terri Morasco: It’s a strike off!
Vasco Dias: Both of these women are very well versed in striking, who will break first!?
Terri Morasco: I don’t know but the crowd is loving it!
{ Caroline catches Shelly with one really good palm strike to the jaw that causes the champion to stagger for a moment. Caroline comes right in and hooks the champion for an exploder suplex! Shelly tries to get right up but Caroline is on her with an overhead gutwrench throw! }
Terri Morasco: Caroline showing off her suplex skills!
Vasco Dias: Clearly she has been training for this match, watching tapes, Caroline may have Shelly scouted!
{ Shelly is trying to get up again but Caroline is on her with a dead lift bridging German suplex into a pin! Blue Shoes is right there but Shelly is able to kick out at two! Both women get back to their feet but Shelly is able to fire off a thrust kick to the midsection of Caroline that stops her for a moment. Shelly then charges in with a second European upper cut of the match! Shelly then unloads three European upper cuts in a row that damn near takes Caroline’s head off! With the challenger stopped for the moment, Shelly hits a front chop block to the left knee of Caroline Machado! Shelly goes right in for a cover but it’s only a two count! }
Terri Morasco: There we see Shelly going for the left leg of Caroline, very similar to her series of matches against Virginia!
Vasco Dias: Smart move not to mention the European upper cuts. Every single time she hits that she throws Caroline’s equilibrium off.
{ Shell pulls Caroline up to her feet and connects with another European upper cut before taking the challenger over with an F the 80’s hiptoss back breaker! Shelly once again goes for a cover but Caroline is able to kick out at two. Shelly peels Caroline off the mat but the challenger fires back with a series of palm strikes to the head of the champion! Caroline then grabs Shelly and hits a release t-bone suplex! }
Vasco Dias: Nice come back by Caroline Machado! Her striking ability is incredible!
Terri Morasco: Not to mention how well versed she is in suplexs!
{ Both women are up after the pinfall attempt but Caroline takes the champion to the mat with a wristlock takedown. Caroline then quickly transitions into a cross armbreaker but Shelly clutches her hands together so Caroline is unable to lock it in. }
Vasco Dias: Smart move by the champion to clasp those hands!
{ Caroline kicks her right heel down several times trying to break Shelly’s hands apart but to no avail. Caroline releases the hold and both women are up, Caroline comes in fast but Shelly grabs her with a powerslam! Shelly goes for another cover here but Caroline is easily able to kick out! }
Vasco Dias: You’ll notice Shelly going for a lot of pins here when she is clearly nowhere near winning the match. Everytime Caroline kicks out she expels a great deal of energy.
Terri Morasco: Shelly is testing Caroline’s cardio and trying to wear her down!
Vasco Dias: Exactly!
{ Both women are up and Shelly hits a thrust kick to the left leg of Caroline and picks the leg for chained Knee Surgery dragon screw leg whips! On the fifth one, Shelly locks in From the Flames or tries to but Caroline is able to escape the hold and roll to the ropes. }
Vasco Dias: Smart move by Caroline to get the hell out of there before the submission was locked in.
Terri Morasco: Absolutely but you have to wonder how much damage was done to that leg already?
{ Caroline is up and Shelly is there with another European upper cut! Shelly then dumps Caroline on her head with a Shoulder Capture Snap Suplex! Shelly makes another cover attempt but Caroline is able to get the shoulder up! Shelly pulls Caroline up but Machado hits a spinning back fist that catches the champion off guard! Caroline then grabs Shelly with the Service Ace leaping neckbreaker! Caroline makes a cover now but it’s only a two count as Shelly gets her shoulder up! }
Vasco Dias: Caroline sticking to her striking and big burst moves to the head and neck of the champion!
Terri Morasco: Very sound strategy. One good hit to the head and Shelly could be out of this match!
Vasco Dias: Absolutely!
{ Caroline brings Shelly to her feet with a gutwrench powerbomb in the middle of the ring! Caroline makes another cover but again it’s only two. The two women get to their feet but it’s Caroline who unloads with a strike combo that rocks the champion backward. Caroline connects with a nasty headbutt that almost drops Shelly to a knee. Caroline then grabs the champion with a Six Pack Spike tornado DDT! Caroline rolls the champion over into a cover but once more it is only a two count! }
Terri Morasco: Looks like Caroline caught on to Shelly’s game plan of pinning early and often!
Vasco Dias: It’s a smart strategy. If your opponent is too exhaust to kick out, then they don’t kick out!
{ Caroline is up and connects with another spinning backfist on the champion before lifting her up for a spinning Samoan drop! Caroline lines herself up for another Service Ace as Shelly gets to her feet but the champion pushes her off. Caroline turns into a European upper cut and then a thrust kick to the left leg! Caroling drops to a knee and Shelly goes with the Chopping Block shin kicks to the chest of Caroline Machado until the challenger finally falls backward onto the mat. Shelly grabs the left leg and once again looks for her Kneebar From the Flames but Caroline is able to get her finger tips to the ropes before the hold is truly locked in! }
Terri Morasco: Shelly is starting to zero in on that left leg.
Vasco Dias: This is exactly how Shelly managed to defeat Virginia Stepanov at Night of the Immortals.
Terri Morasco: Caroline has to be aware of that!
{ Shelly waits for Caroline to get up and charges in looking for that European upper cut but Caroline avoids it. Caroline hits a spinning heel kick to the gut of the champion that looks like it hurt the challenger just as much. Caroline fights through the pain and connects with another Service Ace neckbreaker! Caroline scurries for a pin but Shelly manages to roll out of the ring and drop to the floor on the outside. }
Vasco Dias: Smart move by the champion to create some space after the second Service Ace of the match.
Terri Morasco: You’re right Vasco, that move has won Caroline a lot of matches so Shelly needs to watch out for it.
{ Caroline follows Shelly to the outside who has gotten back to her feet. Caroline goes to grab Shelly but the champion instead grabs Caroling and hurls her into the crowd barrier! Caroline is on her feet but Shelly hits another European upper cut! Shelly then runs Caroline down the side of the ring and chucks her into the crowd barrier so hard that it comes down! }
Vasco Dias: Shelly using the outside of the ring to her advantage!
Terri Morasco: Caroline needs to get this back between the ropes where she can win this match!
{ Shelly pulls Caroline up off the crowd barrier and walks her down another side of the ring. Shelly hits a European upper cut and then a Knee Surgery dragon screw leg whip into the crowd barrier! }
Terri Morasco: Oh god!
Vasco Dias: Shelly is dissecting that left leg of Caroline Machado!
Terri Morasco: Carline needs to create some space and fast!
{ Shelly takes Caroline and checks her into a corner of the crowd barriers. Shelly hooks both of Caroline’s arms over the rails and backs up down along the side of the ring. Shelly then runs the length of the ring and looks for a European upper cut on Caroline against the crowd barriers but Caroline moves out of the way at the last second! Shelly crashes into the crowd barrier and spills over the top into the crowd! At this point Blue Shoes stops his ten count and gets out of the ring to check on the champion. }
Vasco Dias: Blue Shoes using his referee’s discretion to stop the ten count!
Terri Morasco: You know he wants a winner here as badly as the rest of us do.
{ Caroline is clearly limping now but she doesn’t care. Caroline climbs up onto the corner of the crowd barrier where she was previously hung up. Shelly is getting up from the arena floor in the crowd. Shelly turns and Caroline leaps off the crowd barrier and grabs the champion with the Six Pack Spike tornado ddt on the arena floor! }
Terri Morasco: Tornado ddt on the floor!
Vasco Dias: That one had to knock the champion loopy!
{ Caroline pulls Shelly up and chucks her back over the crowd barrier onto the padded mats. Caroline climbs backs over as Shelly crawls her back toward the ring. Shelly pulls herself up by the apron but Caroline connects with a clubbing blow to the back of the champions head and then grabs her, moves and hits a snap german suplex right into the ring apron! }
Vasco Dias: Shelly’s head just bounced off the apron!
Terri Morasco: And as we all know that is the hardest part of the ring!
{ Caroline pulls the champion up to her feet, Shelly is just dead weight right now. Caroline rolls the champion up onto the apron. Caroline now climbs up as well, hooking the head of the champion as she goes. The two of them stand on the ring apron and Caroline hits a DDT on the apron! }
Terri Morasco: Caroline is targeting that head and she’s done a serious amount of damage!
Vasco Dias: Shelly will definitely need a concussion test after this match!
Terri Morasco: Absolutely. Caroline is taking it to the champion!
{ Caroline kicks that left leg of hers out and rubs it as she sits on the apron. Shelly looks like she’s dead to the world as she lays face down on the apron. Caroline rolls under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Caroline is up and steps one foot out onto the apron. Caroline reaches down to pull the champion up. Shelly comes back to life and grabs that left leg that’s between the ropes and hits the Knee Surgery dragon screw leg whip through the ropes! }
Vasco Dias: Oh! A dragon screw leg whip across the second rope! The fans at home may not know this but that rope is a steel cable!
Terri Morasco: Shelly may have just shredded the MCL or ACL of Caroline Machado!
{ Shelly rolls back into the ring now as Caroline is on the mat. Shelly grabs the left leg and connects with a knee breaker! Shelly then looks to lock in that kneebar From the Flames but Caroline hits Shelly with several hard heel kicks with her right foot, catching the champion across the jaw and knocking her backward! }
Vasco Dias: Smart move by Caroline!
Terri Morasco: Absolutely. She needs to get away and recover.
{ Shelly uses the ropes to pulls herself up. Her head has obviously taken a beating as she is no longer going for the pinfalls to wear Caroline down. Shelly instead chooses to stay zeroed in on that leg now. Caroline is up to her feet as well. Shelly comes in looking for another European upper cut and connects! Caroline takes the shot and doesn’t move, instead she let’s out a roar and hits the champion with a spinning back fist that causes Shelly to crumple in the center of the ring! Caroline looks amped now as the crowd roars! Caroline pulls Shelly up to her feet and hits her with the SERVICE ACE! Right in the center of the ring! }
Vasco Dias: That’s it! WE have a new champion!
{ Caroline makes the cover, only hooking one leg and Blue Shoes is there for the ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }
Terri Morasco: Shelly kicked out of the Service Ace!
Vasco Dias: That’s the third one that Caroline has hit this match!
Terri Morasco: Where did Shelly find the strength, the energy!?
Vasco Dias: I have no idea.
{ Caroline doesn’t even hesitate as she pulls Shelly up to her feet and looks for another Service Ace but Shelly hits a thrust kick to that left leg and follows it right up with a chop block behind the knee! Shelly then grabs Caroline and pulls her in for the TIGER DRIVER 98!!! }
Vasco Dias: TIGER DRIVER 98!!!
{ Shelly rolls Caroling over and covers her, not hooking either leg. Blue Shoes is there and it’s ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }
Terri Morasco: I don’t believe it! Caroline kicked out of the Tiger Driver 98!
Vasco Dias: This is pro wrestling! This is IWF! This is why the Women’s division is the pinnacle of wrestling!
{ Shelly looks shocked for a moment but Blue Shoes holds up those two fingers. The champion then moves to the kneebar From the Flames maneuver. Caroline is dead to rights in the center of the ring as Shelly locks it in! Caroline screams but doesn’t tap out. Shelly locks in the heel hook on the kneebar. Caroline sits up and digs her fingers into the mat before dragging herself backward. Shelly is wrenching as hard as she can on that left leg but Caroline continues to claw backward, not even giving Shelly to satisfaction of yelling in pain. Caroline finally makes to the ropes and hooks them both with her arms. Blue Shoes comes in and counts and Shelly holds on for the four and then lets go. }
Vasco Dias: I cannot believe the raw determination of Caroline MAchado! She refused to tap out!
Terri Morasco: And you know that has to strike at the confidence of the champion as Shelly has been going after that leg this whole match!
Vasco Dias: Absolutely. Shelly has to call into question her whole game plan at this point!
{ Shelly is up and she’s a little shocked as Caroline uses the ropes ot stand up. Shelly comes in hard with a European upper cut and then hooks Caroline up for the Tiger Driver but instead, Caroline muscles Shelly for a back drop driver! }
Terri Morasco: How the hell did Caroline pull that off!?
Vasco Dias: Caroline has to be running on pure adrenaline right now, ignoring the pain in her leg and fighting through it!
{ Shelly gets back to her feet but Caroline is right there with rapid fire palm strikes to the head before grabbing Shelly with an overhead release uranage! }
Vasco Dias: Wow! What an incredible show of strength and determination!
Terri Morasco: Caroline is fighting through the pain and taking it to the champion right now!
{ Caroline walks toward Shelly but finally the adrenaline wears off and the pain catches up with her. Caroline’s left leg gives out for a moment and causes her to stumble. Shelly spots it and pops up, coming in hard with a European upper cut but Caroline manages to drop behind the champion and grab her with a release full nelson suplex! }
Vasco Dias: Caroline just dropped Shelly right on the back of her head!
Terri Morasco: But Caroline is doing just as much damage to her leg as she’s doing to Shelly’s head!
Vasco Dias: Absolutely!
{ Both women are down for the moment, Blue Shoes checking on them. Both say they are more than willing to continue. Slowly they both start to get back up to their feet. They are dead in the center of the ring. We circle back to where this match started as the two engage in palm strikes to the head. Shelly, Caroline, Shelly, Caroline. Back and forth they go until finally Shelly thrust kicks that left leg but Caroline fires right back with a lunging clothesline! Caroline covers Shelly but it’s just a two count. }
Vasco Dias: Smart move by Caroline, force Shelly to expel more energy!
{ Caroline is up to her feet. She’s basically on one leg now as the adrenaline is completely gone and both women are running on fumes. Shelly is not moving at the moment. Caroline signals for the end of the match! }
Terri Morasco: One more Service Ace will do it!
Vasco Dias: I agree, if Caroline hits Shelly with one more Service Ace it’’l be all she wrote for the champion!
{ Shelly is starting to move. Caroline is hyped now as the crowd roars. Caroline can feel her moment coming. Then the crowd suddenly starts to boo as the cameras turn and we see a battered and taped up Rob Diamond coming out from the back along with his brother Chris! }
Vasco Dias: The Work has arrived!
Terri Morasco: What the hell are they doing!
Vasco Dias: Looking out for their sister!
{ Blue Shoes spots them but James Gilmore, Nick Knight and Nick Danger come running out from the back and attack the two brothers Diamond! Blue Shoes has his eyes on the ramp as Caroline tries to ignore the action. Shelly is getting up now. Stephen Terrella comes out from the crowd as Caroline connects with the Service Ace! }
Vasco Dias: SERVICE ACE!
{ Shelly is down and Caroline pins. Blue Shoes goes in for the ONE! TWO! Terrella rips Blue Shoes out of the ring and heaves him like a lawn dart directly into the ring post! }
Terri Morasco: NO! Not like this!
{ The fans keep counting and make it all the way to ten but the referee is down. James Gilmore breaks away from Rob and Chris and tackles Stephen Terrella! The Work and the Revolution continue to battle on the ramp and around the ring as Caroline is up to her feet. Caroline looks for Blue Shoes. }
Vasco Dias: Caroline had this match won but the Work just wasn’t going to let it happen!
Terri Morasco: This is as close as anyone has come to beating Shelly! Hell, Caroline had her beat!
{ Caroline spots Blue Shoes on the outside and as she leans through the ropes to yell down at him, Portia comes out of the crowd with a steel chair and cracks it into the side of Caroline’s head! }
Terri Morasco: Dammit! No!
Vasco Dias: The Work has the numbers!
{ Portia grabs the Women’s title and slides it into Shelly who is starting to get up. Caroline is down. Portia pulls Blue Shoes up as security is making their way out. Shelly pulls Caroline up to her feet, underhooks her and connects with the Tiger Driver 98 on to the Women’s World title! }
Terri Morasco: I can’t believe it! After all her talk of wanting to be the best! Shelly just wants to win!
Vasco Dias: Technically, that makes her the best!
Terri Morasco: No, that’s not how the best wins!
{ Shelly shoves the title to the apron and collapses over Caroline. Portia pushes Blue Shoes back into the ring. Security has restrained The Work and The Revolution as Portia hops back into the crowd. Blue Shoes is barely awake but lifts his hand for ONE!... TWO!... THREE!... }
Alison Valance: Your winner and still IWF Women’s World Champion! SHELLY DIAMOND!
{ The Work and the Revolution are trying to break free and brawl more. Blue Shoes is barely awake. Shelly stands up and walks over to where she pushed the title, picking it up and holding it over her head as the entire crowd boos. }
Vasco Dias: You may not like it but as long as she’s the champion, she’s the best.
Terri Morasco: You’re right. I don’t like it. I never will like it. This is total bullshit!
{ Even more security comes out as well as several wrestlers to keep the Work and the Revolution apart. Shelly holds the title and sees Caroline starting to move. Shelly looks at the belt and then at Caroline. Shelly holds the belt up and prepares to lay her former challenger out. }
Terri Morasco: And now she’s going from insult to injury!? What a great champion she’s turned into!
Vasco Dias: You don’t have to like her but you have to call her the champ!
{ Shelly is ready to lay Caroline out when- }
Jess Fowler: ENOUGH! ENOUGH!
{ Jess Fowler comes out onto the ramp. }
Jess Fowler: Shelly! If you take one more step toward Caroline I will strip you of that title and suspend you indefinitely!
Terri Morasco: Do it!
{ Shelly lowers the belt and backs off. }
Jess Fowler: The same goes for the six of you!
{ The Work and the Revolution stop trying to get at each other. }
Vasco Dias: What is Fowler doing out here! Let them fight!
Jess Fowler: Next week! This madness ends! It’ll be the Work versus the Revolution… MAYHEM IN MANHATTAN!!!
{ The Revolution love that sound of that, including Caroline who is up to her feet. Shelly looks pissed but her brothers and Terrella don’t seem to mind the announcement either as they start jaw jacking at the Nick’s and James. Shelly says something to Caroline before exiting the ring. }
Vasco Dias: Mayhem in Manhattan!?
Terri Morasco: No pin falls! No dq! Pinfalls or submission counts anywhere!
Vasco Dias: I like the sound of that! Tune in to Sacrifice!
Terri Morasco: For Vasco Dias, I have been Terri Morasco. Thank you for tuning into Bloody Assizes! We’ll see you next week!
{ We close on both groups, four on four, standing a few feet apart at the top of the ramp, each barking threats at each other as the show comes to an end. }
