{ The show opener for Friday Night Sacrifice plays to the theme of IOU by Five Finger Death Punch showing clips of all the current champions as well as some of the biggest stars in IWF currently. }
Vasco Dias: Welcome to Friday Night Sacrifice!
Terri Morasco: We've got a loaded card for you this evening!
Vasco Dias: The points round of the Heir to the Throne kicks off!
Terri Morasco: And you asked for it so we booked it, the women of IWF are in action all night long!
Vasco Dias: The best women's division in the world!
Terri Morasco: Absolutely! And in our main event, the final match between the Work and the Revolution! MAYHEM IN MANHATTAN!
Vasco Dias: That is going to be incredible!
Terri Morasco: But first! We've got two newcomers to the IWF going head to head. These two have developed something of a feud since they arrived! Grady Smithson vs MAV!
------------------------------------ SINGLES MATCH Grady Smithson vs MAV ------------------------------------
{ MAV is already in the ring. }
{ The lights go dark and suddenly the lights flash bright white as the guttural chanting begins. As the drums kick in the lights flash chaotically with the music and chanting. Dark red, bright white, and dark blue lights flash around the arena. The camera doesn't know where to put its focus. Smoke begins to gather on the stage and as a the words "I Shall Kill" appear on the screen, the shadow of "The Vagabond" Grady Smithson appears within the smoke. He lumbers to the ring in full battle gear, beating on this shield in unison with the beat. Grady gets to the stairs on the ring and places his shield and his runes in a ritualistic manner before climbing into the ring. The light shines down from the rafters onto him as Grady glares into the hardcam. }
Vasco Dias: MAV has been turning heads since his arrival!
Terri Morasco: Mostly Grady Smithson’s!
Vasco Dias: Absolutely. There’s some bad blood between these two so it’ll be exciting to see how this match plays out!
Terri Morasco: I’m with you, Vasco! Two of IWF’s newest additions going head to head looking to make an impact here on Sacrifice!
{ The match kicked off with Grady Smithson hitting a huge shoulder block on MAV! MAV was launched backward into his corner where Grady quickly came in after him. Grady connected with several should thrusts to the midsection of MAV, driving the wind out of him with every single shot to the gut. Finally, Grady hoisted MAV up out of the corner and delivered a spine shattering spine buster in the center of the ring. Grady went for a cover after the spine buster but MAV was able to kick out at two, not even close to being done yet. Grady pressed on, looking to manhandle MAV some more but MAV was able to fight back with some palm strikes and knife edge chops. MAV eventually took control with a Russian leg sweep into the turnbuckles on Grady. MAV then connected with an impressive brainbuster and went for a cover of his own but Grady powered right out of the pin at a one count. Both men were back to their feet now and MAV went back to palm strikes. Grady begged for even more and MAV really let him have it. After about a dozen palm strikes, Grady connected with a Mongolian chop so hard it nearly knocked MAV out of his boots! }
Vasco Dias: The power of Grady is impressive!
Terri Morasco: Mav needs to switch up his game!
{ MAV attempted to get back into the match at this point but Grady scooped him up into a bear hug. Grady whipped MAV around like a ragdoll before chucking him over his head with a belly to belly suplex! Grady then followed up with a cover but MAV was still able to kick out at two! Grady was feeling confident at this point and pulled MAV to his feet but MAV connected with a thrust kick. MAV then created some distance with a superkick! Grady was on his heels and MAV connected with a swinging neckbreaker! MAV was looking impressive at this stage of the match and looked to chop the bigger man down by locking in a figure four. MAV had Grady right in the center of the ring and wrenched as hard as he could to eliminate the bigger man from the match up. Grady fought back and managed to roll them both over to their stomachs to reverse the pressure. MAV was forced to let go. Both men reached their feet at about the same time but Grady was the first to strike with a Big Claw! Grady brought MAV down to his knees and the referee seemed like he was ready to throw this one out but MAV managed to connect with a punch to the liver of Grady that immediately broke the hold! }
Vasco Dias: MAV is a smart competitor!
Terri Morasco: Absolutely, he knew exactly where to hit Grady to break the Claw!
{ MAV made a comeback and worked Grady over in the corner of the ring. MAV had firm control of the match and sent Grady face first into the turnbuckles with an Irish whip. MAV then looked to work on the left leg of Grady some more by kicking Grady in the back of the knee. From there MAV brought Grady back up to his feet and hit a double arm DDT! MAV went for a cover but Grady got his shoulder up at two! MAV went to mount Grady at this point but Grady hit a nasty headbutt! Grady fought his way back to his feet and then unloaded on MAV with arm trap headbutts! After the tenth and final one, Grady hit MAV with a high angle body slam! Grady then headed to the ropes and climbed up to the top where he connected with a picture perfect My Sacrifice swanton bomb! Grady would then pull MAV up to his feet and deliver the Shaman’s Harvest chokebreaker! With MAV down, Grady covered and scored the three count and the win! }
Winner: Grady Smithson
Vasco Dias: What a showing by Grady Smithson here tonight!
Terri Morasco: This guy has a real bright future in IWF. I see gold in his future sooner rather than later!
Vasco Dias: And that isn’t taking anything away from MAV, it was a good, close match and I can’t wait to see more of him!
Terri Morasco: Same here! But now it’s time for the next part of the evening!
------------------------------------ SEGMENT Proven Champion ------------------------------------
Hitohiro No Hanabarano loudly plays through the PA System as the recently reacquired Sara Cross makes her way out to the sold out IWF crowd. As the crowd erupts in cheers, Sara uses their energy to pump herself up, building momentum before marching down the ring, high fiving as many fans as she can as she comes down the ramp. As she makes her way to the ring, she stops at the steps, shaking off any nerves, before climbing them to the turnbuckle post where she climbs to the top of, before entering the ring from the top turnbuckle itself.
The crowd continues to fuel her fire with energy, allowing for each moment to feel more and more like one in a fantasy rather than in reality. As the music cuts off, the fans chant out “Sara Cross” loudly. Sara reaches to a staff member who hands her a microphone before she goes to speak.
“Well it feels good to be back, that’s for sure! Hehe I have to say, that this is one of the best standing ovations I’ve received, I should take vacation days more often! Now for the reason I’m here, the reason that you all are chanting my name. I lost my match to Charlie last I was here, and I could’ve easily curled up in a ball and ended my career and focused on being a booker like others have before me, but I’d rather stay focused on being what I always have been, a fighter. I don’t give up because I lost a battle, because I’ll be damned if I’m the one losing this war, Charlie. Now this isn’t directed towards you at all, even though you are my main example.”
Sara stops for a moment while the crowd cheers and chants.
“Shelly Diamond, I’m here for your title.”
As Sara shouts this out, the crowd chants “yes” loudly.
“And before you say, you and everyone in this division, take a look. I’m a champion, a proven one at that. I’m going to take that belt, and once I’m champion, there will be no paper champs. If you want it, you’ll earn it. GAH! If you want it, just ask, I’ll defend it any week! But yeah, that’s what I came here to say! It’s great to be back!”
Sara drops the microphone and the crowd cheers as we head to the next segment of the show.
------------------------------------ SINGLES MATCH Jennie Fenix-Rodriguez vs Zelda Simpson ------------------------------------
{ The Final Fantasy X version of "The Prelude" kicks in as Zelda Simpson strolls into the arena, playing Pokemon GO on her iPhone 12 -- much to the crowd's laughter. Once she approaches the ring, an attendant calmly reminds her that it's time to wrestle...so she gently hands him the gadget and prepares to wait for her opposition. }
Terri Morasco: This should be an… interesting match between two of our more colorful ladies on the roster. How do you see this playing out, Vasco?
Vasco Dias: Let's be real, it's anyone's guess how this one could go. Zelda might win, she might lose, or she might wander off looking for a Pokemon. Jennie might be my pick because of her bloodline, but she might get hauled off to a mental institution mid-match. You tell me what's going to happen, Morasco, because I don't know.
{“Sweet But Psycho” begins to play on the PA as the crowd erupts into a loud cheer whilst Jennie wastes little to no time by emerging from behind the curtains with her finger twirling against the side of her head and singing along to the song… She is dressed in a rather peculiar attire for this evening; she is wearing clothing that resembles that of Ganondorf of The Legend of Zelda series and stretches her arm straight up toward the rafters! Her legs are stretched wide as she brings her hand down to unveil a triforce on the back of her hand that she shows to the nearby camera. }
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen! On her way to the ring: Jennie! Docherty! ROD-RI-GUEZ!!!
{ Alison shouts as Jennie maintains her stance for several seconds before gesturing for Ricky to come out… Who finally does come out dressed as Shadow Link, and he points out at the crowd with the foam sword that gets the “ALOTTABIT” chant in exchange from them. He reaches up to adjust his cap before hopping in front of his wife and kneeling down as she then jumps on his back– she takes the foam sword from him and gives an aggressive howl as he charges them down the ramp, using the sword to point them toward where the action is about to take place! Ricky stops at the steel steps to let her off, and she climbs up the steel steps while pointing the foam sword at Zelda, who is inside of the ring waiting for the match to start. Jennie then taps the triforce on her hand again… }
Jennie Docherty-Rodriguez: That’s power, bitch! Power! AND! Courage!
{ She says while then pointing over to Ricky who shows a similar triforce painted on his hand and he taps the sword against it. }
Vasco Dias: Ok, Zelda could be in trouble with this, if two-thirds of the triforce is against her!
Terri Morasco: Are you serious?
Vasco Dias: Dead serious.
{ Jennie finally gets into the ring and pulls the cloak from herself whilst balling it up and sidestepping around the inside of the ring before flinging the balled up cloak into the crowd which earns her another uproar! Ricky applauds for his wife and then surveys the crowd before giving a lucky child the foam sword and ruffles his hair before pointing for everyone to pay attention to the inside of the ring where Jennie is now standing ready for combat. }
{ The official, Jessica Andrews, calls for the opening bell. Jennie barrels straight ahead, causing Zelda to immediately seek safety in the ropes. Zelda asks for a timeout, but the official grants her no such luxury. Reluctantly, Zelda comes away from the ropes and puts her fists up for a fight. Jennie quickly advances forward again only for Simpson to beg off, wanting the official to check Jennie for illegal weapons. Jennie seems to want to just wrestle, however she gives in and allows the official to check her. While the referee is checking Jennie's boot, Zelda tags Jennie with a closed fist. }
{ The official warns Zelda about what she did. Jennie is staggered, but she grits her teeth and comes back firing with some hard fists of her own, rocking Zelda. Docherty-Rodriguez utilizes her head as a weapon, smashing Zelda in the noggin with a headbutt. The blow forces Simpson back into the corner. Jennie mounts the turnbuckles, rattling off a ten punch combo as the crowd counts along. Hopping down, Jennie gives Zelda another hard headbutt for good measure- and at this point Zelda falls straight on her bottom in the corner. }
Terri Morasco: I'm not sure Zelda knows where she even is, and Jennie is just stomping a mudhole in her now!
Vasco Dias: You can't fight two-thirds of the Tri-Force, Morasco!
{ Jennie grabs Zelda by the ankle, unceremoniously ripping her out of the corner by way of pulling her opponent straight up into the air and letting her crash to the canvas. Jennie waits on Zelda to expend some of her own energy in order to pick herself up off the canvas, setting her up for a "Jinxie Drop"! Simpson's head bounces off the canvas and Jennie covers her. The official slides into position for the count. Ricky hops up and down on the outside, counting along with the crowd! }
One!
Two!!
Three!!!
{ The official calls for the bell. }
Terri Morasco: Zelda had some tricks up her sleeve, but in the end it's Jennie Docherty-Rodriguez scoring the win tonight!
Vasco Dias: It was the Tri-Force, I'm telling you.
{ "Sweet But Psycho" hits as Jennie sits on the canvas criss-cross applesauce style for a moment. Reaching into her boot, she pulls out a marker and begins to draw tiny diamonds all over the unconscious Zelda's face with an artist's touch. }
Winner: Jennie Docherty-Rodriguez by pinfall
------------------------------------ SEGMENT MODify Your Beliefs ------------------------------------
{A black and white image of a small chapel comes onto the screen. The only sound that can be heard is the blowing of the wind across the desert and the ringing of the church bell. Several people dressed in black shuffle out of the building followed by six men carrying a casket. The men walk across the churchyard and begin loading the casket into the back of the hearse. Suddenly the church explodes filling the screen with a paused shot of fire and debris with the words MODify Your Beliefs written over it in old English script.}
Vasco Dias: What in the world is going on with these spook vignettes?
Teri Morasco: I don't know, but it seems to have something to do with The Church of Crosse.
Vasco Dias: How? Those freaks are banned from IWF for life.
Teri Morasco: You tell me, you wanted to be in their cult so bad.
------------------------------------ HEIR TO THE THRONE GROUP B TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Warren Harper vs Thaddeus Bancroft vs Alek Bronson ------------------------------------
{ The Lights black out as the Imperial Aquila Lights up on the tron,Thaddeus rises from the stage, surrounded by smoke a single spot light on him and Harriet. The commissar’s Cap tipped low and wearing the medals that denote his station, umbrella under one arm, pausing to walk up the ropes to pass his coat, and cap to Harriet and climb into the ring even as the lights raise as he standsin the middle of the ring hands behind his back }
{ The beginning of " The Chain" starts, the arena fades to darkness as on the titantron the Smile comes on. Lights flicker as lightning strikes the ramp. The spotlight shines on Alek. As his head raises showing the mask. He walks to the ring looking around. He slides into the ring. Then just laughs maniacally. }
{The lights go out and the snow steady beat of New Divide by Linkin Park plays and the crowd gives a good cheer for Warren Kane as he emerges from behind the curtains wearing a simple leather jacket, with his hands at his hips and a smile on his face. He then heads towards the ring, stopping to touch hands with members of the crowd before stopping in front of the ring. Closes his eyes, takes a breath before jumping up onto the apron, climbing the turnbuckle on the outside and raising his arms in the air getting a positive reaction from the crowd. The music dies down and the lights return to normal as he drops into the ring.}
Terri Morasco: The first match in the Heir to the Throne is about to kick off and it’s a stacked triple threat match!
Vasco Dias: Warren Kane versus Alek Bronson versus Thaddeus Bancroft! This will be the one and only triple threat match in this years Heir to the Throne!
Terri Morasco: And management packed it with three of the best in the world today!
{ Our match opened up with Warren and Thaddeus working together to take the much bigger Alek Bronson down. The two highly accomplished strikers went to work targeting the tree trunk like legs of Alek Bronson who did his best to defend himself. It was Warren Harper, the former world champion who connected with the first kick that brought Alek down to a single knee and it was Thaddeus who came in with a vicious running knee strike that sent Alek to the mat. Warren went to hit one of his signature moves on Alek but Thaddeus moved in his way saying he wanted the next shot. Warren pushed Thaddeus and Thaddeus swept the legs of Warren with a low kick. Thaddeus then mounted Warren and started to raing down some heavy elbow strikes on the former world champion. In the mean time, Alek has reached his feet. Thaddeus gets off Warren and turns into a nasty big boot from Alek Bronson! Alek then turns to Warren who is starting to get up. Alek grabs Warren and deadlifts him up into powerslam position then hits a massive running powerslam on Warren! Alek is looking fired up now and ready to take control of the match. Alek sends Warren hard into a corner of the ring with a two handed choke toss. Alek then connects with a running shoulder block in the corner. As Alek turns he is blind sided by Thaddeus who connects with a nasty chop block! Thaddeus goes to the ropes for a springboard and comes back with Tempus Fugit blockbuster on Alek! Thaddeus goes for the cover but it’s only a two count! }
{ Thaddeus gets back to his feet but Warren is back with an enzugiri on Thaddeus! Warren followed it up with a swinging neckbreaker. Warren then sent Thaddeus out of the ring so he could focus on Alek who is getting back to his feet. Warren comes in and grabs Alek looking for the Splosion suplex but Alek boxed the ears of Warren Harper and fired off a huge knife edge chop that sent the former world champion to the mat. Warren got back to his feet but Alek hit a snap jab, a headbutt and finally a chokeslam! Alek went for the cover on Warren here but Thaddeus came in to break it up, even though Warren was also kicking out. Thaddeus brought Alek to his feet with knee strikes to his head. Thaddeus was going to town on the head of Alek Bronsons, basically trying to knock him out on his feet. Alek snapped away and connected with a snap jab and grabbed Thaddeus for a chokeslam. Thaddeus poked Alek in the eyes and hit his own chest blistering knife edge chop that sent shocks through the body of Alek Bronson. Warren was getting back to his feet and Thaddeus told him they should work together again. Both men hooked Alek up and went for a double vertical suplex but Alek blocked it. Then Alek picked up both men in the vertical suplex position, held them there for a full ten seconds before dropping both men to the mat. Alek made a cover on both Warren and Alek but they each kicked out at two! }
{ The match carried on for several more minutes with each man taking turns getting a momentary advantage. Alek hit a snap powerslam on Thaddeus. Warren grabbed Alek with a short arm clothesline. Thaddeus hit Warren with Aquila. Alek grabbed Thaddeus and Warren and went for a double chokeslam but they were able to fight back on this one and this time they picked Alek up for a two man powerbomb and sent Bronson to the outside of the ring! Thaddeus and Warren then went to work on each other with knife edge chops and palm strikes. Thaddeus got the advantage and just about cut Warren’s chest open. Thaddeus then drilled Warren backward into a corner of the ring and start to unload elbow strikes. Warren snapped back to life with a rising knee strike and a Splosion suplex straight into the turnbuckles. Warren pulled Thaddeus up and attempted to hit the Kidd kick but Thaddeus was able to avoid it and tried to roll Warren up with a fist full of tights but the referee saw it and didn’t make a count. Alek re entered the ring at this point and hit Thaddeus with the Glaive spear! Alek went into the cover and hooked both legs of Thaddeus but Warren was there to break up the three count at two! Warren was able to take Alek to the mat with a Splosion suplex. Alek tried to get back to his feet but Warren hit the Kidd Kick! Warren was going to go for the cover but Thaddeus grabbed him with the Purity seal ripcord elbow strike! Bronson was starting to get to his feet but Thaddues shoved Warren into the referee, connected with a low blow to Alek and then rolled him up with Elementary! The referee moved in for the three and Warren was a half second too late to stop the count! }

------------------------------------ HEIR TO THE THRONE GROUP A SINGLES MATCH Dean Harper vs Angel Blake ------------------------------------
{Lights go to black, leaving the arena in dark silence for a few moments before the dark, rhythmic pulses of the beginning of Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War drums by A Perfect Circle begins to surge through the arena.}
Don't fret precious, I'm here
{ Lights flash randomly through the arena, and soon flashes of some of the most savage moments of Dean's career flash in flickering effect on the 'tron. Finally, a single white spotlight shines down in the center of the stage, where Dean is crouching as he shifts side to side along with the music, hoodie and leather jacket open to show a bare chest underneath. He smiles up at the camera, eyes alight with a savage mania before he leaps to his feet, the motion bringing a massive flash as every light in the arena flares. He holds that position for a few moments, fist raised in the air before sprinting down to ringside. He leaps up onto the Apron, vaulting over the top rope and flipping into a roll that carries him to the opposite side of the ring, where he catches himself in the ropes and lounges amongst them almost casually, bobbing his head along with the music. With the help of the ropes, he shrugs off the hoodie and jacket before sliding back into the ring, tossing the removed clothing into the crowd. He takes a slow turn, arms wide as he takes in the reaction from the crowd, before cracking his neck and settling into his corner.}
{ All the lights in the arena go out as words blaze across the Imperitron. }
“Blessed are the wicked who are healed by my hands.”
{ The opening notes of the orchestra version of Gateways begins to play as flames erupt across the stage like napalm. Slowly Angel Blake begins to rise from within the flames with his arms outstretched wearing a long black coat with the birthdate of his grandson embroidered on the back. Angel throws his arms up in the air as the metal version of Gateways really kicks into gear. Flames erupt all the way down the stage and ignite the ring posts as well as the lyrics finally kick in. }
The core principle of freedom Is the only notion to obey The formula of evolution and sin Leading the way
{ Angel steps out of the flames looking over to the crowd with a terrible grin before looking toward the ring. He scowls as he begins to walk, flames erupting behind him with every step. Angel finally reaches the ring, lifting his coat to walk up the steps. He stops on the apron and looks out toward the crowd as the song blasts. Blake throws his arms out and his head back as the arena lights go up to a blinding level. Blake turns and steps into the ring with confidence heading over to the far corner. The chorus comes back around as Angel stands up on the second turnbuckle and crosses his arms over his head in an X. Blake hops down and turns his back to the corner and waits in the ring for the match to begin. }
Terri Morasco: This isn’t a match I ever thought we would see, Vasco.
Vasco Dias: That’s the best part of the Heir to the Throne, match ups you wouldn’t normally see.
Terri Morasco: Angel Blake. Dean Harper. Father against son. Heir to the Throne. This is intense.
Vasco Dias: I completely agree. And you have to wonder who is willing to hurt who more to win.
Terri Morasco: We don’t have to wonder, we are about to find out!
{ Blue Shoes pulled the straw for referee duty on this one and he called the bell as soon as both men signaled they were ready. Angel and Dean walked right out of their corners and came face to face in the center of the ring. You could hear, feel, taste and just about smell the anticipation from the crowd as there was this dull roar for one of them to make the first move. You could see Dean talking to Ange, to his father, Dean was saying something, something he said in his promo earlier in the week. A single tear rolled down Dean’s painted cheek before he rear back and slapped his father across the face as hard as he could bringing Angel down to a single knee. Dean looked down at his father and screamed “LOVE ME THE MOST!” directly into his face. Angel looked up, wiping the spit from his face and then unloaded a folly of palm strikes to the midsection and head of his son, bringing himself to his feet in the process. Angel and Dean stood face to face in the center of the ring now, the two of them absolutely striking the living hell out of each other. Both of them are putting their full body weight into each and every single strike, hitting hard enough to knock out nearly any other opponent they have ever faced but the two of them just keep going as the crowd loses their minds. Finally it’s Angel who gets Dean to stumble back ever so slightly which gives the father the opening to fire off a Divine Justice rising knee strike. But Dean isn’t an idiot and manages to avoid it. Dean connects with a forearm smash, a spinning side kick and finally a step up enzugiri! With Angel staggered, Dean heads to the ropes and connects with a springboard inverted DDT, other wise known as Up is Down! Dean makes the first cover of the match but Angel kicks out at one! }
Vasco Dias: Holy hell this has been incredible so far!
Terri Morasco: Neither one of them is holding back tonight!
Vasco Dias: They can’t! There is too much on the line!
{ Dean brought his father back to his feet and unloaded several hard knee lifts to the midsection of Angel Blake. Dean then fired off a nasty looking European upper cut before whipping his father into the turnbuckles! Dean charged in after his father and hit a shotgun dropkick in the corner! With Angel seated on the mat now in the corner, Dean got back up and came in with the double knees meteora in the corner! Dean then ripped his father up off the mat and hit a somersault neckbreaker and looked to put Angel away with a pinfall but it was only a two count again. Dean then mounted his dad and started to just unleash some closed fist punches as Blue Shoes gave him a warning. Dean ignored the referee and the crowd roar was enough to let Blue Shoes know he just needed to let this match play out. Dean worked Angel back up to his feet and launched him into the ropes! Dean looked for Product of War but Angel stopped the attempt with a pin point accurate elbow strike to the bridge of Dean’s nose! Blake turned around and connected with that Divine Justice rising knee strike now! Blake then grabbed his son for In the Name of the Lord uranage backbreaker and followed that up with a Daddy’s Dental Work curb stomp! Angel made his own cover now but Dean defiantly kicked out at one! Angel ripped his son up to his feet and began to unleash some real nasty looking palm strikes that Dean didn’t even try to protect himself from. Angel then took his son and looked to hit Tara’s Wings double arm ddt but Dean locked his feet around his father’s and instead connect with a bridging suplex on his father! Angel was able to kick out at two but both men were right back to their feet where Dean hit Angel with a hard dropkick! }
Terri Morasco: They are holding nothing back!
Vasco Dias: Angel and Dean are just dropping bombs on each other!
{ Dean took control of the match with an Oathbreaker as Angel tried to get back to his feet. Dean didn’t even bother to go for a cover attempt, instead opting to hold Angel down by the shoulder while he rained down knee strikes into the side of Angel’s head! Dean continued this for several moments until he felt satisfied that his father was knocked clean the hell out. Dean pulled the limp body of his father up to his feet and lifted him up looking to hit his dad with his own move, the Deadlights. But Angel raked the eyes of his son! Dean dropped Angel and Blake hit a Divine Justice to the back of his son’s head! Dean fired off a spinning backfist that cracked his father in the jaw! Dean then turned and hit a thrust kick to the side of Angel’s head! Dean didn’t waste anytime and hit a bicycle knee that knocked Angel out onto the apron. Dean saw an opening and ran across the ring. Dean hit the ropes and came rushing back across the ring as Angel stood up and brought Blake to the arena floor with a Sunset Flip Power Bomb off the apron! DESCENT INTO HELL! Dean looked like a man possessed now as he pulled the seeming lifeless form of his father up off his feet and ran him down the side of the and launching him into the steel steps shoulder first! Dean then walked down to where his father was laying, picked up the top half of the steel steps and considered dropping them on his father but Blue Shoes warned him not to do it. Dean cast the steps aside as his father was starting to get up. Dean then grabbed his father, picked him up and hit Clipped Wings on top of the lower half of the steel steps! }
Vasco Dias: Dean with that double underhook piledriver on the steps!
Terri Morasco: Dean wasn’t kidding when he said he’d kill Angel if he had too!
{ Dean pushed the lifeless form of his father aside as Blue Shoes climbed out to check on Angel. Dean ripped up the padded gym mat to expose the concrete floor underneath. Dean then pulled out a table from under the ring as the crowd started to lose their minds. Dean set up the table over the exposed concrete. Angel finally started to come too as Blue Shoes made sure he was ok. Dean cracked his father again with a hard palm strike across the face an drug him toward the table. Dean once again screamed into his father’s face “LOVE ME THE MOST!” Dean then cracked Angel one more time pretty much knocking him out on his feet before he rolled him onto the table. Dean climbed back up onto the apron and then to the corner where he climbed to the top rope. Dean looked down at his father who was bleeding from the earlier piledrive on the steel steps. Dean looked oddly happy as he leapt from the top rope to the outside of the ring with a 630 senton he calls Screaming from the Sky! Angel rolled off the table and Dean crashed through back first and onto the hard concrete of the arena floor!!! }
Vasco Dias: OH MY GOD!
{ Angel pulls the corpse of his son up to his feet and sends him back into the ring. Blue Shoes checks on Dean but Dean seems to nod that he’s still very much awake. Dean struggles to get to his feet as his father enters the ring. Angel comes in and delivers a Divine Justice on his son! Dean staggers but he doesn’t go down. Angel hits the ropes and connects with another Divine Justice! But Dean is still on his feet and shakes his head. Angel goes to the ropes again and hits a third Divine Justice but this time Dean leans into it! Dean stands tall as blood now begins to pour from his forehead as well. Dean connects with a hard palm strike and pulls his father into a Reality Break standing moonsult fallaway slam! Dean gets to his feet but he seems more out of it than in. Dean grabs his father and pulls him up to his feet. Dean fires off a hard forearm shiver and then takes his father over with a snapmare before hitting the ropes and connecting with another meteora knee strike! Dean looks to the top rope, thinking about trying Screaming from the Sky again but instead he turns around and pulls his father up into a double underhook. Dean goes to pick his father up for Clipped Wings but Angel hooks his leg around Dean’s and blocks it. Dean drops his father and Angel picks the legs of Dean dropping him onto his back and then lands a double leg drop between the legs of Dean Harper. Angel backward rolls to his feet as Dean nips up to his own! Angel fires off a Divine Justice, Dean avoids the knee strike and goes for a roaring elbow strike, Angel blocks it. Blake makes like he’s going to fire off another Divine Justice, Dean moves but Angel didn’t kick off and instead hit a thrust kick into Dean’s midsection! With Dean stunned for the moment, Angel now hits Divine Justice and then pulls Dean into and lifts him up for the DEADLIGHT! Angel makes the cover, cradling his sons head while hooking both his legs. Blue Shoes is down and counts the three giving Angel the victory! }
Winner: Angel
{ Both men lay there for several moments, bloody, exhausted with the crowd cheering for them both. Finally they both roll over and crawl to their hands and knees. Dean and Angel uses each other to stand up, each using the other for support. They both look at each other for a moment before embracing in the center of the ring to a very loud pop from the crowd. Angel can be seen saying something to his son with tears in his eyes while Dean can be seen with a smile and tears of his own. The two break apart and hold each other’s hands up high as the crowd cheers for them both. }
Vasco Dias: It was a brutal match with a heartfelt ending. That was beautiful.
Terri Morasco: I couldn’t agree more, Vasco. That was everything you could ever want from these two.
Vasco Dias: I think I need to call my dad…
Terri Morasco: Me too.. Let’s take a commercial break!
------------------------------------ SEGMENT ------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: What a show we've had so far Vasco and we've still got…
{The crowd erupts with boos as a bolt of blue lightning hits the ramp producing a burst of smoke and when it clears standing in a spotlight arms stretched out to the side is JC Keeton. He drops his arms and points out the words #AndStill written on the t-shirt he was wearing with the IWF Men's World Championship around his waist. He removes the title and raises it into the air to massive heat with a huge smile on his face as the beat to "Born Legendary" by Vo Williams hits.}
-I crawled out the gutter -I rose to the top -My reign everlasting -I can’t be stopped -I was made for the throne -Rise up til I moan -You been waiting on a ruler -Well I’m home
{As soon as he says the word "Home" pyro explodes from the rampway as JC places the title over his shoulder and walks towards the ring. JC walks up the ring steps stopping at the top and just soaks in the hatred before stepping through the ropes and asking for a microphone.}
Terri Morasco: The IWF Men's World Champion retained his title by nefarious means at Bloody Assizes.
Vasco Dias: But he's still the champion by hook or by crook.
{Keeton takes the center of the ring and smirks, waiting for the crowd to die down.}
JC Keeton: I think my shirt says it all but just in case you all forgot how it happened lemme refresh your memories…
{He points to the screen and highlights from the epic encounter between JC and Pax Stormcrow is shown. The fan tossing the brass knuckles into the ring, the ref getting knocked down, the scramble for the knucks and JC knocking out Pax to win the match. The fans become incensed having to sit through it again as JC laughs into the microphone.}
Terri Morasco: He's become insufferable.
Vasco Dias: What a difference a few months make.
JC Keeton: All I keep hearing is "JC how can you be proud of that? You cheated!" I took advantage of an opportunity that was presented to me. I was gonna win that match whether I used the brass knuckles or not. For the last year and a half I've done things the right way and it got me to the top of the mountain. Now that I'm here I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make sure that I stay on top. I put in the work and I earned everything I've gotten since I resigned with IWF in February of 2021. So please forgive me for taking the easy way out of a match I was well on my way to winning. I'm not going to…
{Before Keeton can continue he's cut off by a voice shouting "Stop!" into a mic. Stepping out on stage in khaki pants and an IWF logo polo shirt wearing a headset around his neck is IWF Junior Producer John Bauman. The former Johnny Somebody who hadn't been seen since losing the Civil War match as part of the Church of Crosse had moved back into his backstage role after having his talent contract terminated.}
John Bauman: JC man this ain't you! We were friends, as close as brothers even. I know you man, you helped me make a dream of mine come true. You're not a bad guy JC, I know it in my heart.
{John begins to ugly cry.}
John Bauman: Please JC. You can't undo the things you've done but you don't have to keep going down this path. I know deep down that you're redeemable, it might take a while but I'll help…
{Suddenly a huge man with long dirty blonde hair in jeans and a black t-shirt delivers a stiff forearm shot to the back of the man fka Johnny Somebody. The man stands over the fallen Junior Producer flexing and screaming "You're a nobody!"}
Terri Morasco: My God! That massive man just leveled an IWF producer.
Vasco Dias: Look closer Morasco, he was wearing a hat then but that's the fan that tossed the brass knuckles into the ring at Bloody Assizes.
Terri Morasco: You're right!
{The boos are almost deafening but JC speaks over them.}
JC Keeton: Johnny, you stubby little dumbass, meet my new insurance policy… "The Cape Coral Colossus" Clay Kovar. You know what to do next big man, make that first impression a lasting one.
{Kovar grabs Bauman by the collar of his shirt and pulls him to his feet. The much smaller man clubs at the giant's arms but can't break his grip. Kovar walks Bauman over to the edge of the stage and places his head between his legs.}
Terri Morasco: No no no! That's IWF official, this monster can't do this!
JC Keeton: DO IT!
{On command Clay hoists the diminutive producer up and Powerbombs him off the stage, tossing him through some production equipment sending sparks flying. The camera zooms in on the face of an unconscious John Bauman who convulses amongst the rubble.}
Terri Morasco: We need some help out here! This looks bad.
Vasco Dias: Really bad Terri, I think Keeton has gone too far this time.
{As paramedics rush to the side of John Bauman, JC Keeton makes his way up the ramp to join Kovar while dodging trash being flung at him from the crowd. He pats Kovar on the shoulder and they disappear through the curtain together.}
------------------------------------ HEIR TO THE THRONE GROUP SINGLES MATCH Wraith vs Arthur Lucideus ------------------------------------
{The lights throughout the arena go out row by row until the arena is shrouded in absolute darkness. The lights come on and Wraith is standing in the center of the ring — in unison, the crowd let out a heavy gasp. He tilts his head back and forth, eyeing the crowd, while waiting for the match to begin.}
{ Arthur Lucideus walks down to the ring slowly and he dances and sings along to his theme as the crowd boo him on, once he gets in the ring he takes off his shirt and bowtie and gives them to ringside personnel. }
Terri Morasco: Our third Heir to the Throne match of the evening is about to kick off! Wraith and Arthur Lucideus!
Vasco Dias: Wraith has been on the warpath since losing the World title! I’m not sure how I feel about Arthur’s chances!
Terri Morasco: Wraith is a force of nature but Arthur has shown himself to be extremely well trained. He earned a World TV title shot in less than a handful of matches in IWF.
Vasco Dias: Very true and despite coming up on the losing end of that, he definitely showed the world he’s ready for the IWF stage!
{ The match kicked off with the two men meeting in the center of the ring and going straight into a collar and elbow tie up. With both men leaning on the technical side they jockied for position but eventually broke away from the tie up when it didn’t lead to either of them being able to get the other one down. Arthur then offered his hand for a greco-roman test of strength. Wraith moved in with his hand out stretched. Arthur then connected with a foot stomp on the former world champion and followed it up with an Alpha Male Kick! Arthur jumped on Wraith and immediately rolled up both of his legs looking for the double hook cover and the upset victory but Wraith was able to kick out at two. Arthur didn’t want to lose the early advantage in the match so he went from the cover to a rear chin lock on Wraith, trying his hardest to pop the head of the former champion off like a beer cap. Arthur help Wraith in the center of the ring but the well trained former world champion was able to shift his weight and bring both men back to their feet. Wraith was able to throw Arthur off with several well placed back elbow strikes before connecting with a drop toe hold and moving right into a bulldog choke! Wraith now wrenched on the head of Arthur in the center of the ring but Arthur fought back like Wraith did before him. After several long moments, Arthur was able to push himself up to his hands and knees and then finally to his feet where he picked Wraith up for a German suplex to break the hold! }
Vasco Dias: Now this is some technical wrestling!
Terri Morasco: An incredibly showing so far from both men!
{ Wraith and Arthur were both back to their feet at the same time but it was Wraith who hit his Ode to Aphrodite bicycle kick on Arthur that changed the tide of the match at this stage! Wraith pressed his advantage now by taking Arthur to the mat with a a half nelson suplex and then looked to put his opponent away with the Absolution figure four arm lock! Wraith attempted to rip the left arm of Arthur right out of it’s socket but Arthur dug his fingers into the mat and clawed his way toward the ropes. Wraith hit a boot to the face of Arthur to stop his forward progress so instead, Arthur rolled into Wraith and actually managed to tie him up into a surprise cover! Arthur got a two count out of it but Wraith was able to kick out of it! Arthur got back to his feet and hit Wraith with a deep arm drag take down when the former world champion reached his feet. Wraith was up again and Arthur hit another Alpha Male Superkick followed right up with the Booty Call canadian destroyer! Arthur went for another cover at this point but once more it was Wraith who was able to get his shoulder up and off the mat! }
Terri Morasco: This has been incredible!
Vasco Dias: Can you hear the fans? Fight forever!
{ Both men had now reached their feet again and it was Wraith who hit some shoot kicks to the legs, midsection and left arm of Arthur to drive him backward across the ring. Arthur launched himself forward with a European upper cut but Wraith fired right back with a Samoan drop on Arthur! The two men were starting to feel fatigue set in but neither one of them was ready to call it a night as they reached their feet once again. Arthur laid into the former champion with some palm strikes but Wraith hit a shining wizard! Wraith then connected with Whisper in the Wind off the top rope and tried for a cover but it wasn’t enough. Wraith brought Arthur to his feet and attempted to hit the Howling but Arthur was able to reverse his way out of it and instead connect with a big time hip toss. Arthur then hit a dead lift pump handle slam on the former champ and covered him once again but it was still only a two count. Arthur pulled Wraith back up to his feet and looked to pull Wraith up into the Beta Male Breaker but Wraith connected with several well placed elbow shots to the head of Arthur. Wraith dropped onto his feet and hit Arthur with a Genocide Kick and followed it right up with the Howling! Wraith hooked both legs of Arthur and picked up the three count and the pinfall victory! }
Winner: Wraith
Terri Morasco: An incredible showing of technical wrestling prowess by two of the best in the world today!
Vasco Dias: 100%, Terri! They put it all on the line for those Heir to the Throne points but Wraith was just a little bit better tonight!
Terri Morasco: Absolutely, Vasco! But now… It’s time… FOR OUR MAIN EVENT!
------------------------------------ MAYHEM IN MANHATTAN MATCH HTTT Points are on the line for Stephen Terrella and Nick Knight! The Work vs The Revolution ------------------------------------
{ We come back from the final commercial break of the evening to Terri Morasco and Vasco Dias at the commentators booth. }
Vasco Dias: It’s time for our main event!
Terri Morasco: And what a main event it is going to be! The Work and the Revolution in a Mayhem in Manhattan match!
Vasco Dias: No count outs, no disqualifications! Pinfalls or submissions count literally anywhere in Manhattan!
Terri Morasco: This is going to be absolutely insane!
Vasco Dias: It is and I'm going to love every single minute of it!
Terri Morasco: We’ve watched these two groups battle for months. We saw them go toe to toe in singles competition up and down the Bloody Assizes card! Tonight it all comes to a head!
Vasco Dias: The final battle! There can only be one winner! Let’s get to the action!
{ We cut to the backstage area, specifically the loading docks. The Revolution members are walking together toward the entrance to the arena. All three men and Caroline are in street clothes: jeans, t-shirts, heavy boots, and taped fists. The men are each are carrying a weapon; Danger a kendo stick, Gilmore a baseball bat, and Knight his ever present barbed wire wrapped 2x4. It is obvious that they have not come to MSG to wrestle, they have come to fight.
The four reach the Gorilla position and Seek and Destroy by Metallica hits over the PA. Stepping through the curtain and onto the entrance ramp they keep their eyes peeled as they slowly make their way towards the ring. Once they’ve made it to ringside they climb the steel stairs and stand in the center of the ring awaiting the arrival of The Work.}
Vasco Dias: It looks like this match is actually going to get started inside of the ring.
Teri Morasco: I’m surprised by that, given The Works history of jumping people.
Vasco Dias: Well three IWF officials are in position and Roberto Verona has even had to shell out the cash to bring in three more referees that are licensed by the New York State Athletic Commision. Now all we need in The Work, so we can get this thing started.
{ We cut back to the loading docks as a blacked out 2022 Jeep Wrangler with a four inch lift, mudder tires and a massive bump guard comes barreling in. The roof is off and Rob, Chris and Shelly Diamond are standing up in the back seat. The Wrangler comes to a stop right before the doors to enter the arena. Terrella pops out of the driver’s seat, a long chain hanging down from his left fist as he makes his way over to the passenger side to open the door for Portia. Chris jumps out of the back with his barbed wire bat. Rob hops out with his promised barbed wire wrapped dildo and a two gallon gas can. Shelly follows her brothers down carrying a pipe. All four competitors in the match are dressed in street clothes, jeans and The Work t-shirts.
The four make their way into the arena and toward the Gorilla position, with Portia holding hands with Terrella in the rear. Each one of them looking more confident than the last as they pass the cameras. Shelly makes her way up to the entrance way first but the crowd starts to roar as Caroline Machado hits Shelly with a spear in the entrance way and the two women go crashing down to the floor in Gorilla! }
Vasco Dias: It looks like this one is started!
{ The bell is rung as the rest of the Work makes their way out onto the ramp as the rest of the Revolution reaches the top! The six men go at it with their weapons in tow as we go split screen to Shelly and Caroline who are both up and brawling in Gorilla as well! }
Terri Morasco: The bell has sounded! Mayhem in Manhattan has begun!
Vasco Dias: We're already off to a crazy start, this is going to get so much better! Or worse!
{The men quickly pair off with Gilmore and Chris Diamond fencing with their baseball bats, Rob Diamond slapping Danger across the face with his rubber dong, and Knight using his 2x4 for protection as Terrella swings his chain like a madman. }
{ Danger is the first man to receive any damage when Rob's barbed wire wrapped marital aid digs into his flesh and opens a wound over his eye. A few feet away Stephen is next to feel pain when his chain wraps around Knight's 2x4 and is ripped from his meaty paws, nearly cutting off the tip of his finger. "The Hollywood Butcher" then adds insult to injury by blatantly kicking him below the belt and planting him skull first on the entrance ramp.}
Vasco Dias: Banned in Memphis, this match could be over before it ever really began.
{In the split screen the fight between Shelly and Caroline has left Gorilla and is moving through the halls of MSG. They are slamming each other into equipment, and whipping each other against the cinder block walls, but neither lady is willing to back down. Caroline grabs Shelly by the wrist and whips her into a door that says Restroom on it. The lock on the wooden door implodes and a very startled Hunington L Powell IV is sitting on the toilet with his pants around his ankles. The sound of porn can plainly be heard coming from his phone.}
Terri Morasco: I'm sure that part of the match will be edited out for the replays.
Vasco Dias: Have you seen the kid we have working in production, Morasco? It'll be a small miracle if that gets one of those blurry circles on it.
{ Danger fights back against Rob, stunning him with a teeth-rattling superkick to the jaw. Bloody forehead be damned, Danger grabs Rob's face with both hands and headbutts him on the bridge of his nose. Meanwhile, twenty feet or so away, Chris Diamond is able to knock Gilmore's bat from his hands by using his own. The Main Man spins, burying his trusty weapon deep into Gilmore's breadbasket. }
Vasco Dias: That'll leave a mark!
Terri Morasco: I fear our trainers' room is going to be really busy after the show is over tonight.
{ Knight is putting some hard boots to Terrella when Portia jumps on Knight's back and starts digging her nails into his eyes. Knight is able to shake her off, dumping her on her hip on the entrance ramp. Unable to see, "The Hollywood Butcher" walks right into a clothesline from Terrella that was meant to take his head off. Stephen checks on Portia to make sure she's okay, which she appears to be. She points at Knight with a vindictive look in her eyes, and Terrella gives a nod. He grabs his chain off the stage, aggressively wrapping it around Knight's throat. Taking both ends of the chain in his hands, Terrella uses his shoulder as a fulcrum for the chain, hoisting Knight into his back and choking him. }
Terri Morasco: Terrella is trying to choke the very life from Nick Knight's body! That could crush the man's windpipe with that chain!
Vasco Dias: Want to take bets on how long until he turns blue, Morasco? He's always been full of a lot of hot air so I say four minutes.
{ The camera returns backstage after being forced to cut away from the women due to Mr. Powell's use of company time. Still in the men's bathroom, Shelly bounces Caroline's face off the mirror on the wall. Caroline surprises Shelly with a burst of quickness and resiliency by leaping up onto the sink in parkour fashion and bouncing off, planting Shelly's head into the bathroom floor with the Seis espigões de pacote! The women's champion is down, but Caroline is slow to capitalize after hitting the hard floor herself. }
Vasco Dias: Poor Shelly! That's no way to treat a living legend! What's next, a swirlie?!
Terri Morasco: I can only hope.
{Back out on the entrance ramp Terrella releases Knight and "The Hollywood Butcher" slumps to the stage nearly unconscious. Blue Shoes moves into position to check on Nick, but "The King" pushes him away. Then in a show of dominant strength the three hundred pounder throws Knight over his shoulder and heads towards the back.}
Vasco Dias: Terrella has to be the strongest man in all of IWF. He hoisted up that two hundred and fifty pound sack of–I mean man like it was nothing.
Teri Morasco: That is impressive, but the real question is, where is he taking Nick Knight.
{A few feet away Nick Danger has kept the pressure on Rob Diamond with a series of chops and forearm strikes. Each blow drives the "Sultan of Swat" closer to the edge of the stage, but smartly Rob jumps to the floor below before Danger could push him over. Looking down a smile comes on Nick's face, a row of white in the middle of a crimson mask, and the "Savior of Professional Wrestling" takes a leap looking for a hurricanrana. Diamond is prepared though and catches the younger man before powerbombing him into the side of the stage.}
Vasco Dias: Rob Diamond just folded Danger up like an accordion.
Teri Morasco: He's going to need that buff chiropractor with the hammer after that.
{ Chris Diamond has his barbwire laced bat pressed into the side of James Gilmore's face, dragging it over James' skin to draw blood. Gilmore endures the pain, twisting himself into a position where he can drive a back-elbow into Chris' midsection. He follows up with three more elbows causing Chris to drop the bat. Gilmore tilts the Main Man's head up by his chin and then clicks him with a right hand. Diamond staggers backwards, giving Gilmore room to get a running start and dropkicks Chris off the stage! Terri and Vasco quickly scatter as Chris goes crashing through the announcer's table! }
Vasco Dias: Damn it! Gilmore is a psychopath! He's trying to kill the Main Man AND us! I spilt my water, too, for fucks sake!
Terri Morasco: Don't worry, I'm fine. Thanks for asking, you jerk! Chris Diamond very clearly isn't, though!
Vasco Dias: Of course he isn't, Morasco! Thank you, captain obvious! That was the equivalent of about fifty bumps on the old bump card!
{ Rob Diamond sees his brother is in trouble and hops up on the entrance ramp, heading straight for Gilmore. Rob leaps onto James with a Lou Thez Press, pummeling Gilmore with some ground and pound. While this is going on a bloody and groggy Nick Danger seems to be making his exit on the side of the stage. Rob pulls Gilmore up, moving to the edge of the stage and setting him up for a suplex. The crowd is standing on their feet as it looks like Rob is going to suplex James off the stage! He tries to lift Gilmore once, but James throws his leg inside Rob's to counter. Lather, rinse and repeat one more time. The third time Gilmore reverses, dropping Rob back first on the stage! }
Vasco Dias: That stage doesn't give! Rob won't be walking right for a week!
Terri Morasco: How far are these individuals going to go?! I don't know if any of them are going to walk out of here.
{ The camera goes backstage again where we see Terrella carrying Knight around a corner. Portia trails, screaming at people to move out of the way. Terrella reaches out with one arm, shoving Keybo Shabaz out of his way. As the King passes by the bathroom though, the door comes flying open as Shelly Diamond's body sails through the air. The heavy door catches both Terrella and Knight on the swing, knocking Terrella off-balance and forcing him to drop Knight. Portia stands in the background with her hands on her head as Caroline makes her way out of the bathroom. Terrella glares at Caroline. }
Terri Morasco: Caroline, you need to get out of there!
Vasco Dias: That may be the only smart thing you say all night, Morasco. The Work's weapon of mass destruction is in full-on destroy mode… and right now that young woman is the only thing standing in front of him.
{ Caroline takes a defensive stance, a little apprehensively holding her ground as Terrella slowly moves toward her. He moves his head side-to-side, cracking his neck. With her eyes firmly fixed on Terrella, Caroline doesn't see Shelly come up behind her. The women's champion dives into the back of Caroline's leg with a chop block. Caroline's knee instantly buckles. Much like a rabid animal, Shelly goes to work on Caroline's leg with kicks and stomps. }
Vasco Dias: There's blood in the water, Morasco… and Shelly smells it!
Terri Morasco: Shelly and Terrella are having a discussion… this doesn't look good.
{ The two Work members seem to have formulated a plan, which goes into motion when Shelly starts dragging Caroline down the hall by her ankle. They pass the catering room before coming to a stop by one of the exits to the arena. Shelly opens the door, wedging Caroline's knee between the door and the frame. Terrella gets down in a three point stance, taking aim on the door as Shelly keeps Caroline's leg trapped inside. }
Terri Morasco: They'll snap this girl's leg in half! No!
Vasco Dias: She knew the risks, Morasco. She knew what the match was.
{ Terrella barrels down the hall like a freight train when an unsuspecting Mr. Happy comes walking out of catering with a huge plate of food in hand. His eyes go wide as Terrella is incoming, and everything happens so quickly that Terrella just trucks Mr. Happy! Food flies through the air, and the poor, unsuspecting Mr. Happy inadvertently foils Shelly and Terrella's plan. }
Vasco Dias: Mr Happy just took a bullet for Caroline!
Terri Morasco: Thank goodness for bad timing as far as Mr. Happy is probably concerned!
{ Portia yells for Terrella to watch out as Knight blasts him in the side of his head from out of nowhere with the blunt end of a Fireman's axe! Placing the handle across Terrella's windpipe, Knight buries his knee into Terrella's back and starts to choke the big man out. Forced to change tactics, Shelly rips Caroline out of the doorway and starts hitting her with "Knee Surgery" over-and-over again! }
{ We move to the arena once more. Chris Diamond has started to get to his feet after crashing through the announcer's table earlier. Rob and James are slugging it out on the edge of the stage. Every strike from Rob draws a "Boo" from the crowd, and every blow from a bloodied James Gilmore draws a "Yay!" Rob breaks the chain by kicking Gilmore in the stomach. One swift thumb to James' good eye from Rob blinds the Islander Alum, and then a big boot from Rob knocks Gilmore to the floor! }
Terri Morasco: That had to be a ten foot drop! I hope James Gilmore is okay!
Vasco Dias: I don't know how bad that fall messed him up, but the Main Man is about to make it a whole lot worse!
Terri Morasco: Chris Diamond using a handful of hair to pull Gilmore up… Wait a minute… Vasco, look up on top of the Tron!
{ The crowd roars as the camera pans up to show Nick Danger standing on top of the Tron! }
Vasco Dias: Has he lost the one marble he had between his ears!? What is that idiot doing up there?!
Terri Morasco: Nick, please get down!
{ Chris Diamond throws a barrage of right hands at James, driving him up a set of stairs onto a platform where a huge "Mayhem in Manhattan" sign is displayed to advertise the event. Danger wipes blood from his eyes, taking in a deep breath as Rob Diamond starts to realize what's about to happen from his position on the stage. Danger leaps!!!... }
Terri Morasco: I can't watch!
{ Dropping like a stone through the air, Danger comes crashing down on both Chris Diamond and (somewhat inadvertently due to proximity) James Gilmore with a flying cross-body! Both men are flattened and the entire platform collapses with all three men swallowed up by the floor! }
Vasco Dias: They've got to be dead! I can't see anything! It's just carnage!
{ Rob stands with his hands on his head in disbelief. }
Terri Morasco: How bad is it?! Is it bad?!
Vasco Dias: It's bad. It's real bad.
{ Rob sprints down to the wreckage in order to try to dig out his brother. }
Terri Morasco: I'm peeking… It is bad. We need EMTs. We need people to clear the wreckage.
{ Behind the curtain we head again, the camera focusing in on a shot of Shelly laying in some uppercuts on Caroline Machado. Shelly grabs a broom and snaps it in half over her knee. She discards the straw end in favor of the upper part of the handle. She blisters Caroline across the thigh with it. Grabbing a handful of Caroline's hair, Shelly bounces Caroline's face off a bay door in back. Caroline answers by throwing a knee into Shelly's abdomen and taking her over with a throw onto the concrete floor. }
Terri Morasco: This has just been absolutely brutal!
Vasco Dias: I know! It's fantastic! We should do one of these next week! Maybe I could fight Keybo! I would love to just jab him in the head with an ink pen until he cries!
{ Knight and Terrella have made their way out into the parking lot. The King is covered in blood from a giant gash on the side of his head where Knight struck him with the axe. Red droplets splatter on a nearby car as Knight slams a hard headbutt into Terrella's open wound. Reaching down, Knight tears a plastic hubcap off a car and begins to smash Stephen over the head with it. Knight takes hold of Terrella and throws him through the driver's side window of the car, shattering the glass! }
Vasco Dias: Someone's Mitsubishi Mirage is getting destroyed!
Terri Morasco: No kidding.
{ Knight pulls Terrella out of the window, leading him around to the other side of the car. Bloody as he is, Terrella is fueled by enough rage and adrenaline to shove Knight off though. Terrella charges at Knight, clotheslining him so hard it turns the "Hollywood Butcher" in the air before he lands on the asphalt! Taking Knight by the wrist, Terrella drags him across the asphalt over by the side of the Mirage. Circling around, Terrella bends down and grabs the small car under the driver's side door and starts to lift! }
Terri Morasco: He's trying to tip that car over onto Nick! This is too far! This is way too damn far!
Vasco Dias: Knight will be flatter than a penny on some train tracks!
{ Terrella grunts and strains, veins popping as he gets the car up chest high. Driving forward with his legs, he starts to tip it! Knight quickly moves out of the way just before the car crashes down onto it's side! }
Vasco Dias: I feel sorry for whoever has to do Knight's laundry if it isn't him! There's no way his underwear isn't about two pounds heavier after that!
Terri Morasco: Terrella is a monster! Who tried to tip a car onto someone?!
{ Spent from tipping the car, Terrella is slow to defend himself when Knight comes at him swinging. Terrella eats some stiff shots but still has enough wits about him to reach out and bury both his thumbs in Knight's eyes, pushing downward until Knight is driven to a knee. Terrella scoops Knight up and just rams him back first into a Dodge Ram before delivering a spinebuster to him on the asphalt. Looking on, Portia encourages her man to break Knight's spine. }
{ Terrella nods, dragging Knight up onto the hood of a nearby limousine. He positions Nick for a powerbomb, then drives him through the front windshield of the limo. Hanging on, Terrella hoists Knight up and smashes him through the windshield again. Still maintaining grip, Terrella hoists Knight up one more time, turning for a release powerbomb off the hood of the car and onto the asphalt! }
Terri Morasco: He may have broken Knight's spine!
{ Terrella hops down off the hood of the car, dropping down to go into a cover. Blue Shoes carefully gets into position on the pavement as Terrella drives his forearm into Knight's face for spite. The referee counts… }
One!
Two!!
Three!!!
{ Terrella comes up off the cover as his music starts to play in the arena. Portia comes over, helping her man to his feet. }
Terri Morasco: Lives, careers… may have been forever changed here tonight in this brutal war between these two factions. After months of fighting it may finally be over, though.
{ Shelly Diamond gingerly walks out of the exit to find Terrella and Portia. }
Vasco Dias: It has to be. I don't know what more they could possibly do to each other.
{ In the arena, Rob is helping his brother Chris back through the curtain to join the rest of the Work in the parking lot area. }
Terri Morasco: Say what you will about him, but tonight it's Stephen Terrella scoring the win for his team. That gives him a strong lead over Nick Knight in Heir to the Throne.
Vasco Dias: And if the rest of that bracket wasn't paying attention to this man before, they damn sure better now.
{ Portia carefully kisses Terrella. The King turns and gives a fist bump to Shelly. They all three look down at Knight before Rob and Chris join them in short order. There's a celebration and congratulations around as the show goes off the air. }
Winner via pinfall: The Work
