The cameras show Nick Danger wearing gym shorts at the Fatal Dojo running on a treadmill at full speed preparing for his match with Jennie Fenix and Stephen Terrella. He stops the treadmill and gets off it to sit down on a chair and drinks some water. Nate walks in front of Nick to hand him a towel to wipe the sweat. Nate takes a breath and speaks
Nate Fate: Nick I don't want you to push yourself and end up getting hurt before you even go into this match with Stephen Terrella and Jennie Fenix. You need to take it one step at a time heading into these types of matches.
Nick throws the towel over his shoulder and takes a breath and looks at Nate and speaks.
Nick Danger: Listen, Nate, I know you are worried about me but I have to push myself to advance to the next round in the IWF Invictus Championship tournament. I just don't want to let another opportunity slip away again.
Nate Fate: I know you don’t want to lose again Nick but if you push yourself too much then you will be injured heading into Odyssey. I just want you to take a break and try not to do everything all at the same time.
Nick Danger: I just want to do my best in this tournament. Because I feel like I’ve been going down a losing spiral. I know winning and losing will happen in wrestling but I don’t want to keep losing and I am not making any progress.
Amy Blaze: You are making progress in IWF. You’ve finally let go of being “The New Savior Of Wrestling” and be yourself in that ring. Me, Nate, Carolina, Fiona, Knight, and James all believe in you in IWF. Even your entire family believes in you, Nick. The one person that has to believe in you, Nick.
Nate Fate: Amy is right you have to believe in yourself, Nick.
Nick takes a breath and then drinks some water out of his water bottle then places it beside him. Then looks at Nate and speaks
Nick Danger: I know I have to believe in myself but I am going into this match with Jennie Fenix, someone who trains with Angel Blake and Tara Fenix. So I can't underestimate her just because she is a female. Plus in other companies, men and women have fought for the main world titles. So I have to be on my toes with Stephen Terrella as well because I have yet to beat him inside the ring. Plus he thinks he is better than everyone in IWF.
Amy Blaze: All Stephen is a no-good fucking bully. I don't want you to go into this match, Nick.
Nick Danger: Amy if I want to go to the next round then I have to face both of them.
Amy Blaze: I just don't want you to get hurt again Nick. Just like when you fought him at Open Fight Night on April 29th in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Nate Fate: But Amy wrestling is a dangerous game to play. I've stretched out of the ring because I injured my leg in a Grudge Match. Nick, you have me and Amy's full support going into this match. Because you have what it takes to go into Odyssey and win to go to the second round in the tournament. We believe in you man.

The camera fades with Nate Fate, Amy Blaze, and Nick Danger walking out of the Fatal Dojo together for a fun night in Miami Florida. Two days later Nick Danger is shown in a hotel room in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for his match with Jennie Fenix and Stephen Terrella in the IWF Invictus Championship Tournament. Nick is sitting on top on his bed and looks at the camera and speaks
Nick Danger: This is my second time heading into IWF: Odyssey and I am looking for a win on this show. I should’ve gotten my first win at Odyssey two weeks ago against John Blade. But thanks to Clay Kovar the so-called “The Cape Coral Colossus” gave John Blade his first DQ win. But hey I am not focusing on the past I am focusing on now.
Nick takes a breath and speaks again.
Nick Danger: But before I talk about my opponents Jennie Fenix and Stephen Terrella heading in Odyssey. I just want to talk about why this tournament means so much to me. I want to have the chance to make history.
Nick has a furious look on his face and speaks again
Nick Danger: Because when you make history everyone will look up to you and know that every obstacle you had to overcome was all worth it to win the first title in IWF. Like Warren, Harper was the first ever IWF World Television Champion. The Power That Be were the first ever IWF World Tag Team Champions. But there has not been an IWF Invictus Champion. I know I have what it takes to be a champion in IWF. I SHOW IT EVERY TIME I ENTER THE FUCKING RING. So I will say this when I enter Odyssey this Friday I will make sure I punch my way into the IWF history books. Because I'm part of the Danger family and it is time for me to make history.

Nick Danger: But I hate to tell you you are not a king. All you are is a guy who thinks he is all high and mighty inside the ring. You know I find it funny that every member of The Work. Has won World titles except for you Stephen. Because the only title you have won was the IWF World Tag Team Titles and you won that with Chris Diamond.
Nick chuckled for a moment then has serious look on his face and speaks again
Nick Danger: Let's keep it real you've choked in three IWF World Television shots but you've never gotten a shot at the IWF World Heavyweight Championship. But if I'm being honest you will probably choke on that opportunity as well. Because in this opportunity I will leave you lying inside the ring unconscious because you will not be winning that title and be the face of Odyssey. Nobody wants to see you and Portia kiss inside the ring. Every damn time you win a match. I get it from King Kong and can finally kiss the pretty lady.
Nick Danger: I am going into that match and finally beat you, Stephen. Knight is right to put you down. I would need a weapon. But I plan to beat you with my strength inside that ring. I call myself “The Rising Ace” because I want to rise and be a person who excels at being the best wrestler in the world. So This Friday I don't plan to lose again because when I beat I will leave you and your soon-to-be wife in shock. When I pin your ass to the center of the ring.

I do find your family's last name an interesting one. Because a Phoenix was a unique bird that lived for five or six centuries in the Arabian desert, after this time burning itself on a funeral pyre and rising from the ashes with renewed youth to live through another cycle. But your family has a nickname for the valley of the sun.
Nick Danger: Anyway Jennie you want to make your family happy and that is great. But I have been hungry and wanted to have a chance to win gold in IWF. I've been in IWF for about three years now and I am about to be twenty-eight years old this year. So I got a chance to listen to your promo and I got to say you want a fight from me. And what I mean by that is you don't want to fight me to treat you like a delicate flower because you are a female. All women want to be treated as men when they enter the ring. But that does not mean I am holding back because you are a female Jennie.
Nick Danger: If you want to get dangerous then the danger you will on Friday. I was trained to fight males and females inside the ring. So I don't care about the PG rating. All I care about is making sure the fans get their money's worth and beat my opponent by either submission or pin fall. I said this before. I don't see a male or female when I enter that ring all I see is a wrestler that is going to get their ass kicked. Jennie, you said to show you my heart when we fight. I will show you my heart, soul, and drive inside the ring. Because that is what I do each time I enter the ring.
