{ Heart of a Champion by Hollywood Undead plays as we are brought the opening intro to IWF Odyssey! We see clips of the Television Champion, Nick Knight and his opponent for the evening- La Bolsa. We see more clips of Virginia Stepanov, Latoya Hixx, Jennie Fenix and Tara Fenix. Then a shot of the new Invictus Championship on a podium, followed by clips of James Gilmore, Shelly Diamond and Stephen Terrella. After that we are shown the jame packed arena and all the screaming fans before we settle on the commentary booth with Rayne and Iyo Kenshin! }
Rayne: Welcome to IWF ODYSSEY!!! I am your color commentator, IWF Alumni! RAYNE! And this is my co host on play by play! Iyo Kenshin!
Iyo Kenshin: We have an amazing show lined up tonight and I can't wait to call the action with you, Rayne.
Rayne: I'm just as excited… because in just a few hours we are going to crown a member of the Work as our first Invictus Champion!
Iyo Kenshin: Or James Gilmore perhaps?
Rayne: Sure.
Iyo Kenshin: But before we get to that we have a sibling rivalry in store as we are going to see Jennie Fenix take on Tara Fenix!
Rayne: That won't be at all awkward before the holidays. What about Virginia Stepanov taking on Latoya Hixx?
Iyo Kenshin: No tricks, only treats in that match up. First we need to go to the ring for our opening contest though. Television Champion, Nick Knight, continues his torrid pace of defenses against La Bolsa!
------------------------------------ IWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES MATCH 1500 RP Word Limit La Bolsa vs Nick Knight(c) ------------------------------------
{ As the opening of La Bolsa by Bersuit Vergarabat reverberates throughout the arena, the one and only bagged luchador steps out! Vibing to his own music, he bobs his head in an exaggerated motion before spreading his arms out wide. After holding this pose for a moment, La Bolsa strolls down the entrance way, pausing in order to give a small child in the front row their very own paper bag mask. Content with his deed, he finally reaches the steps, his gaze surfing over the crowd. With a pointer finger raised up to the heavens, he grabs onto the top rope before vaulting over it to enter the ring. }
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, your opening contest for Odyssey is scheduled for one fall and is for the IWF Television Championship! Making his way to the ring, from Monterrey, Mexico, weighing in at 203 pounds… this is LA BOLSA!
Iyo Kenshin: The crowd is on their feet for the return of the Bag Guy!
Rayne: “The Bag Guy?” Just when I thought this guy couldn’t be more stupid…
{ Slowed down carousel music begins to play and is soon joined by unhinged laughing. Driving guitars join the fray and as the voice of Ivan Moody growls "Welcome to the Circus" Nick Knight bursts through the curtain and begins stomping his way towards the ring. }
Welcome to the shit show Just another freak show Hang your hat and hate at the door It's a game of torture Souls are made to order Everything you wanted and more
{ Knight reaches ring side as the pre-chorus begins }
You've gotta kill somebody to thrill somebody Everybody's gotta reason to bleed You've gotta fuck somebody to know somebody That motherfucker ain't me
{ He begins to clap trying to get the fans into it as the chorus begins to play. }
Am I the only one That doesn't buy into the lies? Am I the only one That doesn't wear a disguise? 'Cause if I can't break it And I can't change it Then tell me, how will I know? (Tell me, how will I?) Am I the only one That isn't just here for the show?
{ When it get to the very last line the entire arena joins in with Chris Kael’s snarl }
WELCOME TO THE CIRCUS!!!
Alison Valance: And his opponent, from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 245 pounds… he is the IWF Television Champion, the Hollywood Butcher, NICK KNIGHT!
Iyo Kenshin: It has been a while since we’ve seen La Bolsa, and it looks like he’s bulked up for this contest!
Rayne: Didn’t he lose his last match for the TV title? How come he’s getting another shot?
Iyo Kenshin: It’s universal. People love La Bolsa!
{ The two square off in the middle of the ring. Bolsa extends a hand to Knight, who slaps it away. The luchador shrugs and begins to circle the mat with his opponent. Knight gains the advantage with an arm wrench, taking advantage of La Bolsa’s bad arm. Bolsa reverses with a forward roll and takes a hold of the champion’s own weak arm. Putting pressure on the shoulder, Bolsa picks up Knight and goes for an airplane spin, but a hard elbow to the bag stops him in his tracks. The champion rebounds off the ropes and hits a stiff lariat, knocking the luchador down. }
Iyo Kenshin: The challenger seems to be just one step behind the champion!
Rayne: I was hoping he would knock that ridiculous bag off his head!
{ Knight tugs Bolsa back up to his feet, landing some brutal forearms. Bolsa responds with some fierce chops, lighting up the chest of the Hollywood Butcher. After a few more seconds of the striking exchange, Knight looks to take the challenger down with a German suplex, but Bolsa waves him off with a back elbow. The champion stumbles back into the ropes, but quickly gets sent to the outside with a huge dropkick. Bolsa rallies the crowd as he hypes up a suicide dive… but he fakes out and lands on the apron instead. }
{ Bolsa dives off the apron with a cannonball senton, sending both of them crashing to the floor. The luchador throws Knight back into the ring, waving back at the crowd. As the champion comes to his feet, Bolsa pulls out a paper bag. }
Iyo Kenshin: Here it comes, Rayne! The bag is out of the… bag!
Rayne: I don’t get paid enough for this…
{ Fishing around in the bag, Bolsa pulls out a pair of brass knuckles. The crowd seem a tad confused as the challenger fashions the knuckles onto his hand. He winds up and decks Knight right in the jaw, knocking him out cold. The referee holds Bolsa back, calling for the bell. }
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner by disqualification and still the IWF Television Champion… Nick Knight!
Iyo Kenshin: What the hell?!
Rayne: I knew this guy was an idiot, but getting yourself disqualified in a title match? What was he thinking?
{ The crowd boos as La Bolsa pounces on the prone Knight, raining blows on the defenseless champion. The luchador rolls out of the ring and snatches the TV championship away, bringing it into the ring. As Bolsa looks around the arena, he places a hand on his bag. Slowly lifting it up, he suddenly rips the bag off of his head to reveal… }
Iyo Kenshin: Oh my god!
Rayne: Yes! This is incredible!
{ Caleb Cannin stands in the middle of the ring, hovering over the battered body of Nick Knight. He hunches down to Knight’s face, talking to him through gritted teeth. The crowd voices their great displeasure at the surprise. The camera gets a close shot, able to just pick up what Cannin is saying. }
Caleb Cannin: Wasted potential, huh? You think I’m WASTED POTENTIAL?! Take a good long look at the Future, Nicky boy...
{ The unconscious Knight is unable to respond as Cannin stands up, holding the IWF Television Championship high above his head. He looks into the camera with a vicious snarl. }
Caleb Cannin: I’m just getting started!
{ He drapes the title belt over Knight’s body before leaving through the hostile crowd, security on his tail. }

SINGLES MATCH 1500 Word RP Limit Virginia Stepanov vs Latoya Hixx ------------------------------------
{ The lights in the arena start to flicker as the intro to “Bitch Better Have My Money” hits the speakers. Smoke pours out onto the stage as Virginia Stepanov steps out. She walks to the head of the ramp, looking around for a moment before she shoots a high front kick into the air to show off and then makes a finger gun with three punctuated ‘shots’ towards the crowd ad the appropriate time in the song. }
{ She struts down the ramp, mouth moving to sing along to her entrance as her head bobs along with the song. When she gets to the ring she jumps onto the apron, hanging onto the rope and leaning out towards the crowd, throwing a finger gun with another three shots before she steps through the ropes. She slips her coat off and hangs it in the corner. }
Iyo Kenshin: Rayne, this will be the second match for Virginia Stepanov. After a long hiatus, she admitted to possibly suffering from some ring rust in her Odyssey debut. What do you expect we will see tonight?
Rayne: A sharper Virginia, no doubt. It's always, always difficult to come back after a long absence. I don't want to say you forget how fast things happen in that ring, but sometimes you do. Virginia works hard at her craft, though- which means a lot of people should be prepared to get kicked in the face.
{ "Sky's The Limit" hits. Latoya comes out on stage and grooves a little bit. She takes both of her hands in, covers it up and dip toe her pose and lifts up her blue sunglasses and hands them to her fans. She walks straight down to the ring and hops on it, and she holds onto the ropes and bends over and shows them her Boss Knuckles. She gets inside of the ring and she takes off her wrestling gear and waits for the opening bell to sound. }
Iyo Kenshin: The braggadocious Latoya Hixx comes off an outstanding October. She will undoubtedly be looking to carry that momentum forward and make it a November to remember.
Rayne: She talks loud for someone who hasn't done a lot… yet. We'll see, though. Maybe she can knock off Virginia before Virginia really gets rolling. But right now she might want to talk less and work harder.
{ The bell sounds as the two women move for each other. Virginia throws a low kick to start it off, catching Latoya on her lower leg. Stepanov throws a second kick, landing again. That creates an opening for her to lay a stiff forearm shot into LaToya's chest! Virginia backs Latoya the rest of the way into the ropes and shoots her off. Latoya crosses the ring, Virginia looking just a step slow on the follow. Latoya alertly hooks her arms in the ropes to stop her momentum, resulting in Virginia whiffing on a dropkick. Latoya takes control from there, stomping away on Stepanov. Hixx pulls Virginia up and delivers a crisp looking snapmare, followed by a kick to the spine. Stepanov grimaces in pain. Latoya runs the ropes and lunges smack into Virginia's face with a diving set of double knees! Hixx hooks Virginia's legs for a cover! }

{ Virginia kicks out just as the official slaps the canvas for a second time! Stepanov rolls to her side, checking her mouth for blood. Latoya helps Virginia to her knees and delivers a straight right to that jaw. Hixx looks for a bodyslam, but Virginia counters with some downward elbows on the scoop attempt. She shoves Latoya off and then blasts her with a jumping front kick. Stepanov quickly pounces, going into ground and pound mode on Hixx's face! Latoya tries to cover up but Virginia is able to overwhelm her with her MMA training in time. Eventually Virginia lifts Hixx off the canvas and whips her into the ropes, leading to Virginia hitting a devastating 'Final Ride'! Stepanov covers… }

{ The bell sounds as Virginia sits up off the cover and brushes a bit of hair out of her eyes. "Bitch Better Have My Money" hits. }
Iyo Kenshin: She took some hits, but in the end it was an impressive win nonetheless for Virginia Stepanov!
Rayne: As big as LaToya's head is, that's a hard target to miss. Virginia does chalk one up in the win column though. She looked like she's rounding back into form.
{ The official raises Virginia's arm in victory. }
Winner: Virginia Stepanov by pinfall
------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH Tara Fenix vs Jennie Fenix ------------------------------------ { The arena goes pitch black. The crowd roars into a cheer when they hear “The Eagle Flies Alone” by Arch Enemy beginning to play… }
Iyo Kenshin: We are just five days out of the Tara Fenix Charity Event, where Tara Fenix did manage a victory over Shelly Diamond, and Jennie did get a victory over Atara; you have to imagine that both of them are still hurting from that night, but they are here to finally meet each other in the middle of the ring where there will be a winner! Rayne: I don’t understand what the craze is that these people have for this whole “Docherty” family! What’s the craze about?! Iyo Kenshin: Tara is one of the best that this sport has seen, and Jennie is part of the legacy. What are you talking about? Rayne: The only legacy that Tara has had is loss, loss, loss, and loss! She’s a nobody everywhere it matters! { A single blue spotlight shines on the curtains, and fog begins to fill the stage. The camera angle shifts to one that is looking at the audience where a number of guests have come to attend: James Raven, Tara’s opponent announced for the Denzel Porter Invitational in February; MYŌJIN, one of the individuals that Tara had a hand in training is in the audience. The angle shifts back to the curtain, and the crowd cheers loudly when the former IWF Women’s World Champion emerges from behind the curtains with a handheld flagpole in hand… The symbol of the phoenix is displayed on the banner, and Tara walks to the end of the stage and gestures for the crowd to get louder, and then cups her hand around her ear as if to hear them louder; she looks disappointed, and calls again for them to get louder. They follow the order! Tara waves the flag out over them. }Iyo Kenshin: Who do you think has the best chance of winning? Rayne: Outside of really wanting them both to lose, I would say that Tara probably has the better chance of winning here tonight. She does have more experience, and her sister is only more of a fuck up than she is.
{ Tara walks back to the center stage and hoists the flag high overhead, and then brings it down onto the stage where a flag stand is in place. Tara smirks and cracks her knuckles while briskly walking down the ramp; she points out to the crowd, and salutes them with the “devil horns”; she hits the bottom of the ramp and wastes no time with getting to the steel steps to walk up onto the ring apron. She does a quick spin on the ring apron, ending with her looking out to the crowd, and her arms hooked around the top rope… She listens again to the IWF audience that is cheering for her, and welcoming her back to their ring.
She finally steps into the ring and paces slowly back and forth inside of the ring; she looks out to members of the audience, and waves at some of her friends there, and then blows a kiss out to them. She then turns her attention toward the curtains, and she narrows her eyes; there is no denying the focus that she has to ensure that she walks out with this victory. }Iyo Kenshin: Like a predator already watching its prey! Rayne: It’s not much of a game. { Every light throughout the arena flickers out, and the arena is pitch black… The crowd is already buzzing while anticipating the arrival of Jennie Fenix. Suddenly, the “Purge” siren is heard ringing throughout the arena, and as if on cue, a number of LED Purge masks are seen lighting up throughout the audience ranging in various colors. }Iyo Kenshin: This is something new. Rayne: She’s spreading! Like a plague! { The beginning of “Strange Girl” by Halestorm hits the airwaves, and the lights flicker with a lavender hue in sync with the music. }
Do I make you nervous? Do I make you scared? Do I make you wanna just stop and stare? Weird, bizarre, unusual Sicker than sick, atypical A perfect picture of your fucking worst nightmareRayne: What is this? Iyo Kenshin: It’s Jennie sending a message to Tara that she is taking things to another level here tonight! { The camera flashes over to Tara inside of the ring, as she paces back and forth and is looking toward the curtains for her baby sister, but an uproar from the crowd causes a spotlight, the camera, and Tara to raise their attention to the noise. }
Do I make you frightened? Do I make you fear for your life? When you're so certain, I'll infect you when I'm near Obscene, twisted, unnatural Off the wall, unacceptable I'm bulletproof to what you think { The camera finally does spot Jennie Fenix standing at the second tier of the arena; she is wearing a Dragon Ball Z hoodie with the hood pulled over her head, standard black wrestling tights, and covering her face is another Purge mask colored that is alternating with lavender, and light blue lights, and she turns her head from one side to the other to overlook the entire crowd, as a number of people with matching masks surround her. }
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen! On her way down to the ring coming out of New York City, New York! The Djinnie! Family! JINX! JENNIE! FENIX! Rayne: I would have to give her some props for going for the intimidating factor here, as she is the sure underdog, but I think she’s foolishly thinking that this is going to do anything but waste Tara’s time. Tara knows her! Tara knows what she’s capable of! She’s not going to be intimidated by this! Iyo Kenshin: I think it could be more of a way to hype herself up! { A wave of fans surround Jennie, as she hops from a chair that she had been perched on, and she starts to walk down the stairs toward the ring; she keeps her arms out for the audience and several flashes are seen from people taking pictures with their phones, pictures and selfies, and about halfway through, she does raise her hands up to give her traditional “peace” pose for the fans sitting at home. The camera flashes back to Tara inside of the ring, who does her own gesture toward Jennie: actually creating a heart with her fingers toward her. The camera goes back to Jennie, who is nearing the barricade and she bursts into a short sprint before springing up to the barricade, and showing off her own balance, shifts her weight back to stand atop the barricade for several seconds. }
So you can damn me straight to hell You can crucify my name You can throw me to the wolves You can burn me in the flame And say, "She's such a strange girl" Such a strange girl The world needs strange girls Just like me
{ Jennie tears the hoodie off and throws it out to the audience, who go into a quick skirmish over it, and Jennie hops down from the barricade. She walks over to the guests sitting near the front row and welcomes each of them to the show individually, and then turns her attention back into the ring where Tara is still standing; Tara walks to the nearest ropes, and holds them up, while gesturing for her to get into the ring. }Iyo Kenshin: Tara looks ready to get this match underway! Rayne: Could you blame her? She’s got to solidify herself as the family matriarch! { Jennie cocks her head to the side, and pulls the Purge mask up and her voice is heard, if only just barely, by the nearby camera. }
Jennie Fenix: I’m ready. Are you? { The camera flashes back over to Tara answering back to her. }Tara Fenix: Then get in the ring and prove it! { Jennie pulls the Purge mask the rest of the way off, and hands it to Allen Chaney sitting in the front row; she doesn’t turn to face him at this time… She must remain focused on the task at hand: defeating her sister, one of the biggest obstacles of her career. Jennie charges the ring and slides under the bottom rope then lies down in the center of the ring while slowly getting up to her hands and knees, but crouched forward; she rolls forward and leaps to the second rope, balancing herself there while gesturing for the crowd to get louder! With every wave from Jennie, they oblige, and she finally springs back to complete a backflip and land back on her feet. }Tara Fenix: You wanted this, Jennie. Remember! You wanted this! { The referee gets Tara to her corner, and then Jennie to hers as the music finally comes to a close… }Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for ONE FALL! In one corner: coming out of Hartford, Connecticut, she is a former IWF Women’s World Champion! She is the one! The only! TARA! FENIX! { The crowd pops for Tara as she raises her arms for a pose. She lowers them back down a moment later and stretches with her eyes locked on her target. }Alison Valance: And in the other corner, coming out of New York City, New York! She is JENNIE! FENIX! { Jennie does a more fun pose while leaning back against the corner and then Alison Valance gets out of the ring, while the referee asks the sisters if they are ready for the match. A nod from both of them indicates that they are. }Iyo Kenshin: Tara is ready! Jennie is ready! Let’s get it on! Rayne: This is one that these people have been waiting to see since April! A lot of the guests here this evening are from the now defunct Fight! New York City promotion where these two were pitted against each other for the first time in their careers! { Ding! Ding! Ding! Jennie sprints toward Tara, and Tara raises an arm to go for a clothesline; Jennie ducks underneath, and rebounds off the ropes to come back and circle around Tara, and use a modified spinning head scissors! The crowd gives Jennie a loud pop! }Rayne: That was rather surprising! Iyo Kenshin: Jennie has got to find some sort of advantage in this match, and that is going to be difficult. Tara is faster than her… Tara is stronger than her. Tara is more technically sound than her. There really is nothing that Jennie has over Tara, besides maybe resilience! { Both of the sisters are quick to get to their feet, and Tara lunges forward but Jennie steps to the side and is able to take Tara down with a scissor leg sweep! Jennie leaps forward whilst Tara gets to her hands and knees, but Jennie gets her into a side headlock; Tara stands up still and pushes her sister to the ropes…Jennie rebounds back, and Tara is able to counter with a shoulder block that sends Jennie back down to the mat! Tara looks down on her sister momentarily, then charges the ropes, and Jennie rolls toward her; Tara goes over, and runs against the opposite end while Jennie simultaneously springs to her feet, and steps toward Tara, then catches her with a Japanese arm drag! And the crowd pops again! }Iyo Kenshin: I can’t believe how well Jennie is doing in holding onto this! Rayne: Listen, I really don’t care who wins on this, but it’s nothing impressive. { Jennie is quicker to her feet this time, but Tara is already up to her hands and knees by the time Jennie gets near her, and Tara launches herself forward and circles behind Jennie to roll her into a schoolyard pin! }

{ Jennie rolls backward, and right back up to her feet; she launches forward for a spinning roundhouse kick! Tara ducks under, and charges forward to get her arms around Jennie’s waist in a reverse waistlock; she pushes Jennie against the ropes then launches her backward for a German Suplex! Jennie backflips, and lands back on her feet, and only slightly off-balance… The crowd is still going crazy for the early athleticism that Jennie is putting on display.
Tara turns and has a momentary stunned expression that Jennie is standing, and in fact challenging Tara to come at her; Tara walks toward the center of the ring and the sisters circle the center of the ring… Jennie is looking for an opening, but then Tara invites her in for a test of strength; Jennie accepts, and Tara quickly twists it into an arm wrench! Jennie rolls forward to alleviate the pressure, springs up, and takes Tara back down with an arm drag, and Jennie rolls along the side to go to regain her footing, but Tara still has one arm locked with her own, and catches her other arm with her legs, and rolls her into a crucifix pin! }

TW– KICK OUT!Iyo Kenshin: That is the experience that Tara has! It looked like Jennie had her, but Tara was able to turn the tide with a simple gesture. Rayne: That’s why people do need to remain calm. { Tara rolls toward the center of the ring, and Jennie toward the ropes; both get back to a standing position, and Jennie is the one to charge forward this time! Tara aims for a clothesline, and Jennie ducks under and does a handspring against the ropes, and rebounds back just as Tara turns around! Tara steps forward, and Jennie does a backflip right over Tara– }Rayne: She’s getting some air in there. Iyo Kenshin: These two are just back and forth! { Jennie catches Tara in position for a reverse DDT, but Tara spins out of it and locks her arms around Jennie’s waist, then sails her over with a Northern Lights Suplex! Tara keeps the bridge for another pin attempt.}

TW– KICK OUT!Iyo Kenshin: The northern lights suplex just took the wind right out of Jennie’s sails, and I thought for sure it would be enough right there. Rayne: I’m surprised she’s even standing in the ring right now. { Jennie is able to kick out before the count of two; she twists herself to lie face down on the canvas; Tara rolls backward and catches Jennie in a headscissors position… Jennie is able to stay on her feet during this time, and pulls Tara back so she lands on her stomach; Jennie then steps forward, and grabs Tara by her hair to pull her neck back and looks to get her into a dragon sleeper! Tara rotates herself to angle out of it, and is able to fight back to a standing position…Jennie still has her head bent back and is trying to keep the hold in, and also tries to drag Tara down into the grapevine. Tara flips backward, and lands with Jennie in the position, and then immediately drops her with a diving reverse DDT! }Rayne: She’s going to feel that one. Iyo Kenshin: These two know each other so well, Rayne! Sisters! Despite all of their differences, they have had a strong bond, and I know that Tara just wants what is best for Jennie! Rayne: But right now, she needs to send a message to Jennie. She needs to remind Jennie why she is the trainer, not the trainee. { Jennie is holding the back of her head, but rolls over onto her stomach as she does… Tara raises Jennie to her feet, and goes for a Judo Takedown; Jennie is able to defend herself from it, and gets Tara into a waist lock, then spins her around and takes her over with an arm drag! The crowd cheers from her resilience, and Jennie and Tara both get back up; a Japanese arm drag from Jennie! Tara appears utterly surprised; Jennie awaits Tara to get up a third time, and connects with a dropkick that sends her sister back down to the mat! }Rayne: Those were some nice dropkicks. Iyo Kenshin: Jennie is on fire with this! { Tara is able to stand back up relatively fast, but Jennie is already on the offense… she takes one of her arms, and delivers a few elbow strikes to keep her staggered until she gets her into the corner, and then starts to use a series of strikes to keep her down! Jennie climbs up to the second rope and towers over Tara, before raining down one punch! Two punches! Three! Four! The crowd counts every punch up to the count of ten, and they are still rallying behind the underdog; Jennie comes down with a headbutt! }Iyo Kenshin: There is that rougher edge that Jennie does have over Tara! Where Tara is more precise, Jennie is a little wilder. Rayne: And she could get busted open from that headbutt. { Jennie holds Tara still momentarily, and then jumps and takes her over with a hurricanrana! Jennie stays on top, and reaches back to roll Tara into the cover: }

She hits her mark, and Jennie goes down, but rolls toward the ring apron… Tara follows her over, and Jennie successfully retreats to the outside of the ring; she senses that Tara is en route, and is able to counter her by reaching under the bottom rope and tripping her! Tara is able to shove her off before she can get too far away, and recovers to a vertical base; Tara goes to the turnbuckle, and at the same time, Jennie springs to the ring apron…
Tara is caught up in the turnbuckle momentarily, and Jennie climbs to the second rope and begins to exchange shots against Tara!
Jennie lands a good shot that sends Tara backward, but her feet remain caught on the turnbuckle; she grabs the ropes and tries to sit up to get herself free. Jennie climbs the rest of the way to the top rope, and leaps up before coming down with COUP DE JINX! }Iyo Kenshin: The double foot stomp, Coup de Jinx, and the crowd is going crazy! JENNIE KICKS OUT!
{ Tara is the first to her feet this time, and she charges at Jennie while she’s still sitting up for a shining wizard! Jennie rolls out of the way! Jennie gets back up, and Tara closes in and starts shooting several kicks against her sister! Jennie tries to watch where every kick is being aimed, and does her best to defend herself; the kicks continue to come in rapid succession and Jennie is losing ground! Several more kicks, and more, and more, until Jennie is backed into the corner.
Tara takes her arm and sends her to the opposite corner with an Irish-whip!
Jennie reverses in the middle of the ring, though, and Tara crashes into the corner; Jennie continues forward and does a handspring back elbow! Upon landing the elbow against Tara, Tara catches her into a choke hold! Jennie fights it, but a well-placed elbow to her back causes her back to arch, and Tara pulls her in for a reverse headlock…Jennie jumps up, going over Tara’s shoulder, and ends up on the turnbuckle.
Tara spins for a one-eighty, and looks for a strike of her own! Jennie is quicker on the draw and delivers a straight kick that hits Tara’s collarbone; Tara staggers back, grasping her shoulder.
Jennie drops to the mat, then charges forward and takes Tara down with a déjà vu headscissors!
Tara lands near the ring apron, and escapes to the outside of the ring, and Jennie springs back to her feet inside of the ring as she gestures out to the crowd that is rallying louder behind the younger sister! }Iyo Kenshin: What a headscissors! That is something that Tara has done in years, and I think even in her prime, she never did something like that! Rayne: It’s just some flipping. It’s an extra, unnecessary step. Iyo Kenshin: It gets them off-balance! { Jennie paces back and forth inside of the ring with her eyes on Tara; meanwhile, Tara takes a breather on the outside of the ring. The crowd starts to get loud when Jennie rushes to the corner closest to Tara, and springs from the second rope, and then up and over the top! Tara turns just in time to be taken down with a diving crossbody! }Iyo Kenshin: Tara is looking to escape, but Jennie is not letting her! Rayne: What a fool! There’s no way that Jennie has more energy than Tara! { The adrenaline pumps throughout Jennie’s veins, and she gets back up to her feet while calling out to the crowd and calls for them to get louder! The crowd becomes near-deafening! Jennie moves to the audience and begins to high five several that are crowding near the front row; many more push the people at the front further against the barricade… Jennie turns her back to them and readies herself for another attack; Tara shakes her head, and blinks to regain her bearings; Jennie charges her off the start, and Tara steps to the side, grabbing Jennie, and forcing her momentum hard against the steel post!
Jennie slouches beside the ring post, and Tara takes her by the head and slams it again against the steel post; Tara takes Jennie by the arm and tosses her with full force, causing herself to even fall forward, to send Jennie into the steel steps! Jennie crashes hard against the steps, and flips over them. }Rayne: That’s why she should have just stayed inside the ring. Iyo Kenshin: I cannot argue with your logic, but it was important for Jennie to also keep that momentum in this match and keep Tara from recovering. { Tara is en route.
Jennie sits up, and Tara turns the corner delivering a hard kick that connects to her chest and sends her back down! Tara proceeds to stomp on Jennie several times, and then finally pulls her back to a standing position… she pushes her arm aside, and delivers an overhand chop that rings throughout the entire arena!
Jennie cringes from the shot, but looks up at her sister… }Jennie Fenix: Do it again! { Tara connects with a second overhand chop, that gets louder! Jennie cringes again, but begins chuckling under her breath. }
Jennie Fenix: HIT ME! { Tara brings down a third overhand chop, but Jennie catches it this time and then lunges forward with a headbutt! Tara takes a step back, covering her face, and Jennie launches forward with a front kick that causes her to keel over; Jennie charges in and takes Tara down with a running DDT! Jennie drags Tara back to a standing position by the arm, and sends her as hard as she can into the ring apron! She grabs her arm again, and sends her back into the barricade! And then back into the ring apron! Jennie follows in this time; Tara is able to reverse with a back body toss!
Jennie lands on the ring apron!
Jennie springs to the second rope, and just as Tara turns around, Jennie comes off with a moonsault that hits the mark! }Iyo Kenshin: Jennie is starting to get the momentum behind her, but she has got to get Tara back into the ring! Rayne: I’ll admit that I am surprised with how well she’s done against her, but I don’t think she would stack well against anyone of a higher caliber. { Jennie pulls Tara back to her feet, and then tosses her back into the ring; Tara rolls through and is trying to regain her bearings, and Jennie pulls herself onto the ring apron… Jennie then springs up to the top rope, and comes off for a diving attack…
Tara regains her composure, and fires for the GENOCIDE KICK! }Rayne: That could be– wait, no! { Jennie was able to avert her landing, so Tara missed just to the side! Jennie rolls forward, back to her feet, and bounces off the far ropes; Tara turns toward her, and Jennie goes over for a sunset flip, rolling Tara up! }

Tara gets a shoulder up!Iyo Kenshin: I thought for sure that after that impact, Tara was out for the count. Rayne: I’m still quite shocked about it. { Jennie pulls Tara back to a standing position, and then sends her into the corner; she goes forward and goes for another handspring back elbow! Tara moves out of the corner this time! Tara connects with a spinning back kick, and then grabs Jennie and sends her to the opposite corner; she follows in and connects with the Stinger Splash! Tara takes her arm and sends her back to the opposite, and follows in for another Stinger Splash! JENNIE GETS A FOOT UP!
Tara stumbles back, and Jennie quickly climbs out onto the ring apron, and then up to the top rope from there; Jennie comes down for a double axe handle smash! Tara catches her with a kick to her midsection. Tara pulls Jennie toward the center of the ring and then leaps up to go for PHOENIX WINGS!
Jennie counters into a Northern Lights Bridge! Jennie manages to keep the cover in tact… }

TARA KICKS OUT!Iyo Kenshin: We have had a lot of close calls here, and it just looks like Jennie has an answer for her sister at every turn! { Jennie rolls a little bit away from Tara, knowing full well that she had dodged a bullet; Tara returns to her feet at the same time as Jennie, and Jennie takes her turn to start the attack! She goes for a clothesline, and Tara ducks underneath; Jennie springs to the second rope, and comes back for a spinning roundhouse kick! Tara DUCKS! Jennie twirls while trying to regain her balance and find her opponent, and Tara then raises Jennie onto her shoulders; the crowd is going wild, and Tara flings Jennie upward before bringing her down with BURN TO ASHES! Tara covers. }

THRE– JENNIE GETS A SHOULDER UP! THE CROWD GOES WILD!Rayne: Will you people SHUT UP?! Iyo Kenshin: Tara looks like she is in utter disbelief! And you can see, that knee busted Jennie open; it was a direct hit, but Jennie is continuing to fight her way in this one! { Jennie is still laid out, and Tara pulls Jennie back up; she’s calling for it to be over, and is looking for the first move in her series that leads to THE PHOENIX TRIANGLE! Tara gets Jeninie in position for the Cobra Clutch; Jennie rushes Tara backward into the corner, then starts throwing her head back to attempt to connect with a headbutt, and once she does, she starts throwing several elbows to Tara’s midsection; Jennie gets Tara into a side headlock…she charges Tara toward the ropes, looking for a bulldog into the corner! Tara shoves her off just in time!
Jennie, like a cat, leaps to the second turnbuckle; she glances over her shoulder, and Tara charges in for an attack! Jennie backflips over her, landing on her feet, and Tara turns toward her only for GET JINXED! Jennie makes the cover, and pulls Tara arms away from the ropes in the process… }

THREE!!!!!Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen! Your winner! BY WAY OF PINFALL! JENNIE! FEEEEEENNIIIIX!!!!! { The crowd is going absolutely crazy when “Strange Girl” by Halestorm blasts over the PA! Jennie scrambles to her knees toward the center of the ring, almost in disbelief that she took the victory; Tara is looking up toward the lights, in a full daze… Jennie finally does get up, and is excitedly jumping up and down! Security can’t hold back Allen Chaney as he rushes the ring, and Jennie jumps up wrapping her legs around his waist as he parades around the ring with her! }Iyo Kenshin: I can’t believe what we just saw! Jennie Fenix defeats two of the biggest names in the industry in one week! Rayne: I wouldn’t say the biggest names… Iyo Kenshin: They are two of the most well-respected names in the industry, Rayne, and you cannot argue with that! { Tara sits up in the corner, and sits against the corner for a moment.
Jennie and Allen finally stop parading around the ring, as Allen is nothing less than excited for Jennie’s victory. Jennie does look past him toward Tara, as Tara is getting back up to her feet, and dusting herself off… Jennie swipes the blood from her head, and crinkles her nose, while holding her arms out for her sister.
Tara contemplates. }Rayne: Kick her head off! You know you want to! { Tara says something inaudible to Jennie, with her hands on her hips as she walks closer… and closer… and closer… and then Tara puts her arms around her sister, and hugs her tight; she kisses her several times on the cheek, and then brushes her hair back in a reassuring fashion that Jennie beat her. Tara raises her sister’s arm up, and Allen raises her other arm, as the camera fades to a commercial break. }------------------------------------ IWF INVICTUS CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH2K RP Word Limit James Gilmore vs Shelly Diamond vs Stephen Terrella ------------------------------------
Iyo Kenshin: Rayne, it's time to crown Odyssey's first ever Invictus Champion! Social media has been buzzing all week in anticipation.
Rayne: It's the biggest match so far in this young brand's history, and that's not just hype. For these three competitors, you win this and you're immortalized. And spoiler alert: it's going to be someone from the Work. I can feel it.
Iyo Kenshin: This man may disagree…
{ An instrumental with hook version of "Shell Shocked" by Juicy J, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign, begins to play, and a video package begins to play stock footage of waves crashing, followed by bolts of cloud-to-cloud lightning. }
"Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ As jets of water shoot out from all directions, we tsee James Gilmore stepping out onto the stage, posing along to the hip-hop tune, before high-fiving the crowd and walking down to the ring. }
"(All for one when we fight together) Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked (All for one when we ride together) Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked (All for one when we fight together) Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked (This family can bear any weather) Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ Once inside the ring, the Islander alum points heavenward, taking in the moments as he waits for his opponents. }
Iyo Kenshin: Some may say he's the conscientious of the Imperial Wrestling Federation. James Gilmore has been to the peak of the mountain before, holding the richest prize in our sport. Now he stands on the precipice of holding the crown jewel of our brand. I can think of no one who would better represent it.
Rayne: If you like him so much, you go to the defibrillator training course we're going to need if something falls out of the sky onto Shelly and Stephen, making this guy our champion.
Iyo Kenshin: How about giving the man even just a tiny bit of the credit he deserves, Rayne?
Rayne: Fine. No one has ever carried Rob Diamond's bags as well as James Gilmore did. Happy?
{ The lights in the arena dim to a dull grey as smoke emits from the ramp way. Envy by Ice Nine Kills hits the pa as the lights in the arena turn bright white. As the song really kicks in the lights die down to a normal level to reveal Shelly Diamond standing on the ramp. }
Say what you want, the jealousy's absolute! You've already got the claws diggin' into you! You're hopelessly green, like the sickness you feed! The greed never leaves, it just lies and deceives! Believe me! This envy, it's gonna be the end!
{ Shelly holds her fists up over her head as pyro erupts behind her. Once the light show dies down she begins to strut her way toward the ring to the beat of the music. Shelly walks up the steps, climbing up the outside of the ropes before throwing her fists up over her head again as the lights in the arena turn up to a blinding level. When the lights return to normal she is now standing in the center of the ring, ready and waiting. }
Rayne: Shelly Diamond would make a great Invictus Champion! She exemplifies excellence. She held the Womens World Championship longer than anyone, and how can anyone not be impressed with that? How can you not acknowledge her star when you look at the legendary names she's beaten?
Iyo Kenshin: I would never sit here and try to diminish her ability or accomplishments in any way. The issue many of our fans -and many of the superstars here as well- have is her attitude. Shelly is anything but humble.
Rayne: To be great in this business you can't be humble. When you start sharing the spotlight someone comes along and shoves you out of it.
{ The camera takes a long shot of the entryway as and the arena darkens. Smoke begins to rise from the ground atop the stage, cast in a purple hue from the lighting directly overhead as 'Disorder' begins to blare across the speakers. Terrella makes his entrance holding hands with Portia. They take a few steps before stopping to stand side-by-side on the stage, releasing hands. She places her left hand on his right shoulder and runs her right hand down his chest and abdomen as he lowers his glasses down the bridge of his nose before turning for a kiss. }
{ Terrella re-positions his sunglasses and begins a slow walk toward the ring, arm-in-arm with Portia, to a chorus of boos. They reach the bottom of the stairs where they release arms. Terrella removes his sunglasses and vest and hands them to Portia. He surveys the arena for a few seconds with a menacing scowl before making a slow march up the stairs. Terrella walks the apron to the center of it, stopping with his left hand resting on the top rope to stare down the crowd as Portia applauds for her man from the floor. Finally he ducks under the top rope to enter the ring, rolling his shoulders once inside to ready himself to fight. }
Iyo Kenshin: The surly Stephen Terrella completes the puzzle for this contest. He will be looking to shatter the proverbial ceiling here with his giant ham-hock-like fist by winning his first singles championship on his own. When dealing with the King, you also cannot forget about his conniving queen either.
Rayne: If you can get an edge in that ring, why wouldn't you take it? Terrella is as dangerous as they come, but anyone who has been in that ring understands we all have moments when we slip against the best competition in the world. He has a smart woman to back him up, which doesn't make him the big dumb ogre some of these fools want to paint him as.
{ The referee, Tommy Knocker, calls for the opening bell. Stephen and Shelly give each other a look before turning to rush James Gilmore. Little Bear holds his own for a moment, but the numbers soon catch up to him. He finds himself on the canvas, a victim of a two-on-one assault as Shelly and Stephen put a barrage of boots to his body. Terrella reaches down, grabbing Gilmore's left arm and bending it over his head, exposing the left side of Gilmore's rib cage. Diamond starts firing away with some stiff kicks, targeting James' rib cage. Trapped in Terrella's grip, James is unable to defend against the punishing kicks from Shelly. His only reprieve, if one could even call it that, comes when Terrella lets go in order to wrap his hands around Gilmore's head and squeeze while simultaneously pushing his fingers into Little Bear's eyes. Stephen scoops James up and plants him with a body slam as Portia applauds for her man from the outside. }
{ Shelly goes back in on the attack, hitting James with a snapmare that she follows with a rollover neckbreak. Terrella restrains James once more, allowing Shelly a free shot with a basement dropkick right into the heart of James Gilmore. The two stablemates continue to beat down James with Terrella's power and Diamond's targeted precision, focusing on Gilmore's ribs and left arm. The crowd boos the beating, witnessing the triple threat becoming little more than a glorified handicap match for its first eight minutes. With the no disqualification format associated with triple threat matches, Terrella tears the padding off the top turnbuckle. Stephen and Shelly continue working in tandem, bringing James into the corner. Shelly locks in an armbar from the apron, hanging onto it in a manner where Gilmore's armpit is sitting on the top rope and James' chest is pressed against the exposed buckle. Terrella backs up, smashing James' in the corner with the 'Silver Crush'! Diamond releases the arm bar. Terrella seizes the opportunity to make a quick cover. }

{ Shelly Diamond breaks up the pin with a kick to Terrella's head. }
Iyo Kenshin: Shelly Diamond showing us that there may indeed be no honor among thieves.
Rayne: She wants to be champion just as badly as Terrella does, but only one of them can win. Terrella was the first one to break the code though. When you have an alliance with someone and go for a cover, you're declaring war unless you worked that out beforehand. No one just gives up a championship opportunity though.
{ Terrella gets to a knee when Shelly lays in a stiff European Uppercut under his chin. She continues to spam the European uppercuts, even as Terrella gets to his feet. She works to keep her larger opponent off balance, driving him back into the corner with the dizzying whirlwind of blows. There, she goes to work on Terrella's right knee with kicks and stomps. Being a savvy veteran, Gilmore has used the opportunity to roll to the apron and take some time to recover. Diamond continues to work Terrella's surgically repaired right knee until she chops him down into a seated position in the corner. She paces back, then rushes in with a set of double knees that strike Terrella in the face. Shelly labors to drag Terrella out of the corner by his ankle, eventually getting him far enough away from the ropes to make a pin attempt. Knowing Portia, she casts a watchful eye on her as the referee slides into position. }

{ Terrella powers out, heaving Shelly off of him with authority! Diamond takes a breath and tries to go back on the attack. She gets a kick to the head in on Terrella, but the King grabs the front of her tights and pulls her face-first into the exposed steel turnbuckle! Shelly comes away clutching her face. Terrella collects himself as Shelly walks toward the middle of the ring. Big King follows up by exploding into her midsection with a spear that folds Shelly in half! Terrella gathers his wits, still feeling some effects from Shelly's offense. He hears a roar from the crowd though, clueing him in on something. He pushes himself to get up as Shelly still lays on the canvas. Terrella turns and walks right into a 'Power Wave' from James Gilmore! James quickly covers Terrella! }

{ Terrella barely, just barely lifts a shoulder up off the canvas before the three count! Portia breathes a huge sigh of relief on the outside. The Islander Alum is poised to go on the offensive though. He tears into Terrella with some hard right hands to the head. Realizing he needs to keep both Work members down until he can isolate one of them, Gilmore turns his attention to Shelly and dishes out a scoop slam to place her where he wants her. Gilmore points to the corner, signaling the crowd. He goes to the top and leaps off with a diving headbutt onto Shelly. Back-and-forth James would go; alternating between hitting Shelly with various suplexes and slams, and using his own body as a weapon by throwing himself at Terrella with assorted dropkicks and spinning wheel kicks. Finally he creates his opening by knocking Terrella from the ring with a flying shoulder tackle! Terrella lands on the floor at Portia's feet, and she's quick to tend to her man. }
{ The crowd continues to cheer on James Gilmore as he locks in on Shelly Diamond. For the second time in the contest, Shelly is hit with a spear- this one from James Gilmore! He mounts her and starts raining down punches on her head! The crowd counts along all the way until they get to "Ten!" Gilmore gets off of Shelly, emphatically raising his arms to encourage the crowd to make even more noise. James reaches down, lifting Shelly up off the canvas and picking her up into position for the 'Hang Ten'! He hits it, planting her into the deck! Diamond is in serious trouble! Gilmore makes a cover… }

{ Terrella rips Gilmore off of Shelly by his leg at the last second with the help of a very slow count from the notoriously heel-leaning Tommy Knocker! Diamond has the wherewithal about her still to roll to the outside to bide herself some time to recover. Terrella blasts Gilmore with a left hand, but Gilmore only staggers before counter-attacking with a right! They trade shots in that manner a few more times before Portia sees her opening with Shelly down and James occupied with Terrella. She crawls up in the ring and with a lift of her arm low-blows James from behind! The crowd boos as James' body tightens with the blow and he drops to his knees. Terrella wastes no time capitalizing on the opportunity Portia helped create. The King lifts Gilmore up and violently deposits him onto the canvas with the 'Diffuser'! Terrella makes a cover, driving his forearm into Gilmore's face for spite… }

{ The official calls for the bell as Terrella pushes up off of Gilmore. "Disorder" hits, but it's almost drowned out by the boos from the crowd. Terrella kicks Gilmore out of the ring before turning around to catch Portia as she leaps into his arms for a kiss. }
Iyo Kenshin: This is absolutely sickening! I understand the rules of a triple threat match but how can anyone be proud of themselves for winning that way?!
Rayne: It's really not that hard, trust me. You see Tommy Knocker handing Terrella that beautiful, brand new Invictus Championship- that's all that matters! He owns it! He sits atop this brand as it's King! Good luck to anyone who believes they're going to take it from him.
{ Terrella lifts Portia up so she's sitting on his right shoulder, and raises the Invictus Championship over his head with his left hand. The crowd starts to litter the ring with debris as the two of them bask in their accomplishment to close the show. }
Winner and New Invictus Champion: Stephen Terrella by pinfall.
