SPIKE TV - IWF Season One - Episode One.
Welcome to Spike TV, where I your host, the one and only Spike Kane take a very opinionated look at the goings on within the federation, recap the weekly shows and pay per views, and share my predictions for the coming show with you all.
Now first and foremost I want to take this time for us to reflect on IWF’s predecessor, nCw. It was a home to a large portion of the IWF roster, and even those who have not come directly from there have spent some time there itself. Why? Because nCw did what a lot of companies are unable to do in this business, it survived, it thrived off of competition and no one person was bigger than the company itself. As a man who can hold up his hand and say that he threw tantrums, that he fell out with staff members and he fell out with co-workers, it happens, but I grew from that. It was a home to a lot of us, because we found what we wanted there, we found a family, we found friends, and we found that shared loved for what we do.
We look towards IWF now, not with sadness, but with a gleam in our eyes, we look towards a new challenge and think fondly of our time spent in nCw, and we thank the Fox and Knite family, and the Famularo family, and we thank the fans for being there with us. Thank you for sharing a great ride with us, and we hope you stick with us on the next chapter.

ALL HAIL!

Normaly on a weekly basis those who have done exceptionally well will have the spotlight shone on them right here, with a nice explanation of how and why, but for this week instead what I will do is bring the spotlight on those who I think will be one’s to watch this week:
Jake Keeton - I’ve wrestled Keeton in a couple of federations now and I know that he is one tough S.O.B. he’s a lot like Lance Ryan in many ways and he easily could rise to the top of this federation quite quickly if the deck falls his way. He’s a great performer and I’m looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table.
Brad Kane - My brother is without a doubt one of the greatest to ever step foot in the squared circle, no matter what anybody says or thinks about him. Brad is the kind of person who likes to make a statement, and you can expect him to deliver one this week when he gets in that ring with the one guy more annoying than my tag partner.
Ryleigh Knite - Whether she wants to accept it or not she has one hell of a legacy to live up to, and if my past experience with the Knite family is anything to go by, she will most certainly deliver. I’m very excited to see what Ryleigh has to bring to the table as I’m sure her Mother and Father are too, let’s hope she can live up to that billing!

Naturally this weeks show isn’t very long, think of it as a pilot if you will, things may be added over time and there will be some Straight Shootin’ interviews here and there, but as you can expect this being the first week in what may prove to be a great run for IWF there really isn’t much to talk about. We have fallout from A Night to Remember, but I’m trying to move past that for both nCw’s benefit, and for IWF’s. We have a new chapter to forge ahead with now, and it seems like the devious genius that is Roberto Verona made sure that win or lose, he would have a say in nCw’s future, I can only salute such genius.

PREDICTIONS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IMPERIAL CAGE MATCH
Imperial Steel Cage has no doors. Victory by Escape over the top only.
Freakke vs Jake Keeton vs Mike Machado vs John Rherring
PREDICTION: Jake Keeton will walk away with this I’m almost certain. Machado is a good contender, and Freakke is always unpredictable, but Rherring is an unknown quality and he could derail my pick.
TRIPLE THREAT ELIMINATION MATCH
Eirik Ragnar vs Alex Kanton vs Ryan Blade
PREDICTION: I know nothing about either of these guys, and it’s purely gut instinct but I’m going with Alex Kanton on this one.
TRIPLE THREAT TORNADO TAG TEAM MATCH
HonourBound vs The James Gang vs InFamous
PREDICTION: Of course I’m going with InFamous, pffft.
SUBMISSIONS ONLY FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH
Andrew Jacobsen vs Daniel Constantine vs Seth Evans vs Buddy Drifter
PREDICTION: This could be the match that steals the show, some big names in here, and whereas I’d love to say AJ picks up the win I can really see Buddy Drifter taking this one.
FIVE WAY OVER THE TOP ROPE ELIMINATION BATTLE ROYALE
Ryleigh Knite vs Alysson Gardner vs Kate Steele vs Alexis Morrison vs Eternity
PREDICTION: Now, here I’m torn because.....y’know.....my wife, but I’ve highlighted Ryleigh being the one to watch from the Diamond’s division, so I’m sticking with my guns!
MONSTER'S BRAWL
No Disqualifications rules apply.
JackHammer w/ Angel Black vs Stephen Kingsley w/ Cyrus Daniels
PREDICTION: I’m not fond of “Big Men” matches, I get bored easily.....and I really don’t like anyone involved in this match.....they’re boring....so....Jackhammer wins, probably by boring Kingsley to sleep.
MENTOR'S & MENTEE'S TAG TEAM MATCH
Brad Kane & Tifa Heafy vs Mike Laszlo & Ashley Mastrangelo
PREDICTION: I want to smack Mike Laszlo in the face, instead my brother will get to do it along with Tifa. Gotta say, I’m fully behind my bro on this one, bring it to him dude!
So that’s it for a brief look into what Spike TV will hold for the future of IWF. Personally, I cannot waight for Monday Night Sacrifice and to get the ball rolling on this place. There are going to be some big things aheads for us all, I can just feel it. So lock and load people, get watching those promos, hype up those matches and tune in on Monday Night.
Remember that, it’s Mondays now!
Keep an eye on those mentioned earlier, and remember that InFamous will be there to tear the damn house down. Remember nCw in your hearts fondly, and think towards the future with Simon De Montfort and IWF. We’ve got a bright future here guys, and it’s all in our hands to make or break it.
This is your host, Spike Kane, signing off.
