There is nothing that’s instilled in us more than making our parents proud. From the second we are able to understand and empathize with those who have taken care of us, we want to make them proud. However, we also want to forge our own path. We want to blaze our own trail. Unfortunately, sometimes those paths don’t converge with the dreams and ambitions of those that foster you. You have a choice, and you should always choose to follow the voice that you were blessed with.

A single spotlight shines down upon a wrestling ring. Inside of the ring, a lavish red-leather mora lounge chair is directly under the spotlight. For a few moments, only silence accompanies the spotlight.
“You know, there is no reason why a spotlight should be shining without a true work of art beneath it.”
From a distance, the sultry tone of a female voice could be heard. The formerly deafening silence being replaced by the sounds of a movement inside of the wrestling ring. Within moments, a true vision of beauty can be seen underneath the spotlight. She stands near the chair, her melanated skin glistening in the spotlight. Her hands pressed against her hips, she wore a red mini-dress that accentuated every single curve.
“Well, I guess I fixed that little issue. If you’re a person like myself, you’re a problem solver. I have noted a lot of problems. We live in a world that is full of problems, and I believe in being a glimmer of hope. I believe in saving the things that we can, to make our world a better place. In this case, I believe that I am the savior of women’s wrestling.”
The curvaceous beauty darts her eyes down, looking at the chair that has conveniently been placed in the rings center. She shrugs her shoulders before removing her hands from her hips. She takes her time maneuvering her way into the chair. Crossing her left leg over her right, she makes sure to take a moment, allowing her toned legs to be the focal point.
“You see, I believe that women are amazing. We are the lifeblood of all facets of society. In fact, we are the lifeblood of professional wrestling. We have come so far, and we are some of the biggest stars that this industry has. I respect everyone who does this, but… I think it’s time that we face some facts. You are all… serviceable. When I broke into this business, I knew that this was my calling. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m CHE’. Cheyenne Walker, the daughter of one of the territory days most notorious managers. Back in his day, he was assaulted, received death threats, you name it. All that drama, and he still loved this business. Well, that was until this industry changed, and he can no longer stand it. When I told him that I wanted to be a wrestler, he thought I was crazy. Well, that was until he aided in my training. He wanted me to embrace his vision. The vision of wrestling from yesteryears. A vision that his other students liked, but I didn’t. So, I forged my own path. I made waves early last year. I was the talk of the business. I was a rising star, a bad bitch supernova! Hell, I even won a great bit of money from one of those little one-off vanity projects! Then, I had to take some time away. I had to sit back, andI had to really think about things. You know, I had to think about whether or not this business was made for me. I know that I am capable of becoming the biggest thing that the industry has ever seen. I know that I have many talents, and I shouldn’t pigeon hole myself. So, I took some time away so I could stretch my wings beyond wrestling. From fitness modeling to acting, I’ve done a lot in my time away. Yet, I find myself realizing some unfortunately harsh truths. You see, the truth is… this business needs me. There is no one like me, and I know that. I am the perfect embodiment of beauty, intelligence, athleticism… and the list goes on. So, I feel like it’s time for the baddest bitch, to bring the heat back to this ring. I spent a lot of time looking at where I should make a home. Well, The Imperial Wrestling Federation was the lucky victor of my search. For me to show that I’m the best thing that has ever happened to women’s wrestling, I think it’s time for me to compete for the most prestigious championships that this business has to offer.”
Letting out a soft chuckle, CHE’ brings her towards her chest, crossing her arms over each other.
“For over a decade, some of the best that wrestling has ever seen have held the IWF Women’s World Championship. I think if I’m going to solidify myself as the baddest bitch, it has to be mine. Listen, a bitch like me doesn’t mince words. If there is something that CHE’ wants, you better believe that CHE’ is going to get it. So, I decided to give this wrestling thing another real shot. I decided that I can still be the baddest bitch in modeling. I decided that I can still be the next Angela Bassett. Hell, I even found time to find a man who makes my knees weak, and I can still be the best that this industry has seen. Let’s be honest, IWF doesn’t have a woman like me. Yeah, you have had some legendary women come through the annals of IWF, but there is no one like CHE’! Look at me, I am created and crafted by the gods themselves. I am everything! I am beauty, I am strength, I am that bitch! This Friday at Odyssey, the savior of women’s wrestling arrives in IWF! You will all bear witness to something… undeniable. You’ll see that I am in a whole league of my own. It’s honestly hilarious, because my first match-up in IWF is against… LaToya Hixx.”
CHE’ lets out an audible scoff before following it with a subtle laugh.
“I mean… LaToya Hixx, are we serious? You’re going to stick me in the ring with someone that claims to be… a ‘boss’? I get it, the ranks of the IWF women’s division are a bit… depleted. I know, it’s okay though, it won’t be for long! Yet, I get to make my entrance on IWF’s newest program against her? Listen, LaToya honey, you’re okay… I guess. You’re brash, you’re confident… you’re awfully annoying. You want to be a role model to little girls everywhere, but who would look up to you? Who would want to be like you? LaToya, you are literally nothing special. Girls like you, they come a dime a dozen. Hell, LaToya, I think you want to be like me. To the untrained eye, a lot of people probably think that we’re really similar. Yet, we both know that is the furthest thing from the truth. You see, you love to look like a star, but… are you? See, you may look like a star, but do you work like one? Look at me, I am one of a kind. In what world do you find a woman like me? I am strength and beauty. I am power and agility. You are going to get into the ring with a true hybrid athlete. For my entire life, I have taken pride in everything I do. Don’t let the height fool you, I am one powerful bitch. LaToya, every muscle in my body, I’ve worked hard to maintain. I don’t do anything in my life without giving it my all. So when we get into the ring, don’t be shocked that you can’t handle me. In fact, don’t be shocked when you’re defeated. Don’t be surprised that after I’m done with you, that you’ll fade out. I want to respect you, but I won’t. You're not going to be a challenge to me. Hell, you’re not even going to be an obstacle. LaToya, you’re not even a roadblock. Bitch, you’re a pothole! You are a minor inconvenience on my journey to getting where I need to be! In order for me to ascend to the top, there unfortunately have to be casualties. There have to be those who are defeated on my ascension up the ladder. LaToya, I appreciate that you want to be a role model for the girls and women, but it’s unnecessary. Why would anyone look up to you… when they have me? Why would they look up to a ‘boss’... when they can look up to the baddest? LaToya, it’s time to stop letting those knock-off gucci sunglasses tint your reality. You need to stop letting that Splat fumes get to your brain. You have to come to realize that in a world of greats… you’re simply just an okay. In my world, the okays are an inconvenience to getting where I deserve to be. I know that it’s hard to believe that someone would doubt the ‘boss’. Well, I guess you’re just going to have to get used to that idea. I know that you’re going to say that you will not be denied… but get real. We both know that you are nothing special. You are simply just here. You exist, and you exist because most people in this business just exist. This business needs someone like me. This business needs my strength. This business…it needs my beauty. This business needs someone that’s simply… undeniable. Luckily,I am here. I am ready to take my rightful seat at the table. I am ready for my moment to finally take hold! LaToya, you are going to be the first of many victims that will fall victim to the ascension of the baddest baddie to ever hit the ring. After I beat you, I would understand if you never showed your face again. After I beat you, you’re going to come to know an unfortunate truth.”
Uncrossing her arms, she raises her right hand. Taking her right hand, she flicks her hair over her shoulder to her back. A stern expression is worn on her face before speaking once more.
“LaToya, you’re going to learn that no one can do it like CHE’. No one can walk like CHE’. No one can talk like CHE’. No one can wear this dress like CHE’. No one can step into the ring and be the baddest bitch like CHE’. LaToya, CHE’s is the moment. CHE’ is the star, and you’re the extra. When we get in that ring, all the eyes will be on me. I have sat by on my own accord. Unfortunately for you, CHE’ is ready to make her arrival. When I’m done with you, I want you to remember one thing. LaToya, no one… and I mean NO ONE… can do it like CHE’. I will see you Friday, LaToya. I hope you bring your best, even if we both know it won’t be good enough.”
After letting a soft laugh leave her lips, she lifts her right hand up. Bringing the hand against her lips, she blows her signature kiss of CHE’.
