There had been a question floating around the IWF ever since news of the signing of a new tag team had leaked to the fans. Who wa the Embassy? And more importantly what did the want? There were a few people in the fan base who a vague memory of a group by the same name years earlier. A group that had vanished out of the blue. The question now was if these guys were the same one or if another entity was being formed. It was for that and oh so much more that the two members of the Embassy was ready to talk about why they were no in the Imperial Wrestling Federation.
"Are you two knuckleheads ready to get this done?"
The voice of the Aaron's manager was enough to make both men chuckle. It had been a couple long years since the pair had heard the same tone of exasperation.
"Yeah Vera, don't get your non-existant panties in a wad. Turn that camera on and get your ass over here."
With that one could hear the sharp intake of breath that was Vera's reaction as a homey looking study comes into view. Seated in front of the room's fireplace sat both men of the newly revived Embassy. Yet, the years had marked changes in the group and it was time to see just how much that change really meant.
"So it seems that someone in the back office of the Imperial Wrestling Federation wants to either fast track the Embassy to greatness or see how fast it takes for us to be destroyed by the pressures of the rest of the roster. Either way, it will be an interesting challenge. A challenge that must be won before the complete truth about who we are and why we are here is revealed. Though for now I can you that we are but the vanguard of things to come. Now it would be far too easy to tell you of the things to come but in the case that is absolutely impossible. You see the organization that inevitable belong to will react in its own way to the things that happen to us."
Keith shakes his head slightly from his seat a he reaches up and shifts hi fedora slightly.
"Don't get ahead thing Aaron. e still have to go out there and win. Besides you that we are here to lay the groundwork for the boss."
"I haven't forgotten Keith. I now why are here and what I need to do."
"So as Aaron was saying we are here for a reason but at the moment that doesn't quite matter. No what does matter is that we have a match coming up. I have to admit that I was hoping for a more challenging debut but I know that we will make the best of the chance we have been given. Now I know that many out there don't think we are worth anything but trust me you have no idea who we are. We are the unknown element going into our match and that should make you all wonder just what we can do."
Keith stops speaking for a moment as he looks over at Aaron. The share a look that is full of meaning before Aaron takes over the team introduction.
"So I gue you want to know more about who we are and why people should care about us being on the roster. Well for starters, I have wrestled in Russia, Canada and the United States. I am actually looking to spends sometime training with somebody in Mexico or Japan but that is in the works. Bottom line is that right now I am focused and on one thing and that is taking gold. The Defenders of the Realm amuse me in ways that I can't even fully describe because the remind of bad seventies porn. Or maybe they are better described as being the newest incarnation of the Dumb and Dumber guys.
"Don't forget about what these guys have managed to do accomplishment.
"Of course Vera, we can't forget what is going on before is going on in the company. So all I have kept hearing is this huge become take over group who is known as the Empire. A group who has only one goal in mind and that is taking everything in the company. Now I know nothing really about the whole dynamic that is happening currently but I do know that this company is bragging about how the Defenders of the Realm have beating both members of the HonorBound. Which I understand correctly that is the team who is currently IWF Tag Team Champions.
"We can't forget the fact that the Defenders of the Realm are making their in tag team debut in the IWF. Which means that it doesn't quite matter what these guys are up to as a tag team. You this business is funny and almost amusing at times. I am not going to take anything away from either member of the team but you see as a tag team these guys are brand new. As as team they are an unknown force and that is wake its hard to plan an response to them."'
"So come Sacrifice you will you just how much of a team we can be in that ring. Thing is why you haven't seen us work together in the ring we have a long history and that is why we are going to walk out of our debut match with the win. We have known each other for over six years and have trained together thanks we both started in this career. So I hope you are ready for The Embassy because after Monday Night tothing with be the same."'
