The scene opens up with Nick Danger in his hotel room in Leeds, England. He pulls out his phone and gets on Instagram and goes live
He takes a deep breath sits on his bed and speaks
Nick Danger: Hello everyone this is “The Rising Ace” Nick Danger from IWF. I don't really do live streams on Twitch or Instagram at all because I have always been busy traveling a lot. But I may as well try something new because I do have a lot of fans on Twitter and Instagram following right now. I saw Ram and Caroline do live streams on Twitch and I thought I might as well do something different for once in my life.
Nick takes a breath and speaks
Nick Danger: Now I know everyone wants to know why The Striking Unit stopped Fairytales and Nightmares from calling their shot at facing Sanguis Immortalis for IWF World Tag Team Championships. Now here is the thing Dean Harper and JC Keeton were injured and have not been in matches at the closing of 2022. Now I am not a jealous person but we don't jump lines to get title shots we earn the right to fight for them. Fairytales and Nightmares can't just come back at Metamorphosis to win one match and then on Odyssey, they come saying they want a shot at the tag team titles.
Nick pauses for a moment and speaks again
Nick Danger: I get that both JC Keeton and Dean Harper are both former IWF World Heavyweight Champions and World Tag Team Champions hell of achievements guys but do you really think that will guarantee your shot at the titles? You still have to put in the work. Now I am a little confused about something Dean and JC said. They were talking about the endgame of Angel Blake's reign as champion and his family.
Nick Danger gets up and grabs a water bottle and takes a sip and speaks again with a look of seriousness on his face.
Nick Danger: Dean Harper for the three years that I have been in IWF we have never crossed paths in one on one action. I remember the first encounter when I was teaming up with JJ and you were teaming up with your husband Warren Kane. You guys defeated us and I had to make a goal to work harder if I was ever able to defeat somebody like you Dean. But I'm a little confused now why everything has to be yours now.
Nick Danger: You have everything a person would want in life. But here is the thing I picked up from watching your family over the three last years that I have been here at IWF Dean. One of you guys has to be the leader of the family. I always thought that you were okay with being your father's lap dog and that happened when you, your father, and Roberto Verona made Power That Be. Your family loves to hurt and destroy people in the ring. But I have to be honest, I think you enjoy it the most Dean.
Nick Danger: You asked me something on your promo earlier Dean. It was rather I still call myself “The New Savior Of Wrestling" or if it is “The Rising Ace” now. I call myself “ The Rising Ace” because I plan to get better each time I enter the ring. Now I feel like Dean, you, and your brother Wraith have always followed your father's shadow like two hopeless stray dogs that can't find food for themselves. But in all fairness, I was the same way when I was calling my “The New Savior Of Wrestling”. I always wanted to be like my grandfather Chris Danger which is weird because I should have looked up to my dad more than my grandfather. I've always looked up to him more in the way he always wants to be better than any other wrestler in whatever wrestling company he joins.
Nick chuckles for a moment and speaks with a smirk on his face
Nick Danger: I try not to listen to other people's opinions about me inside and outside of the ring. Because unless they are stepping inside the ring with me then their opinions of who I wrestle and talk to people can kiss my ass. All I want to do when I fail to lose a match against other wrestlers is to get better and work extremely hard inside those ropes.
Nick Danger: Dean, you want to talk about what people used to call me? Let's talk about what people used to call you my friend. You were “ The Most Loyal Son” for your father Angel Blake. Also, your father made you and your entire family fucking weapons that are unstoppable and unbreakable in IWF. If your father's back is against the wall and needs help you will come running towards his side to not only take a bullet for your father but will try to end someone's life if someone tries to hurt or harm your husband Warren Kane.
Nick pauses for a moment, taking a deep breath and trying to calm himself down and then speaks again.
Nick Danger: Now I have nothing but respect for your husband Dean. But I can tell you guys are very different about how long you guys have known each other inside and outside of the ring. I can tell Dean you're not a very compassionate person. You're more like a kill-or-be-killed type of wrestler. I'm not backing down from this fight with you Dean Harper. Call me insane or crazy but I am ready for a fight with you. For the past three years, I have been trying to have a match with either you or your father but everyone said that I'm not ready to fight in the big leagues with every former IWF World Heavyweight Champion. I don't have the last name Danger because it is cool. I have it because it gives me a chance to step inside the ring with the greatest wrestlers in IWF so this Friday on Odyssey I will show what I can do inside that ring. I'm not a hero in IWF Dean, I'm the guy who is really going to end a villain's life if it comes down to it. See you soon Dean.
