-------------Wrestler Info-------------
Wrestler's Birth Name: James Jefferson Gilmore
Nickname(s): "Little Bear"
"Happy" (used derisively by rivals in and out of a ring, an obvious homage to a certain fictional golfer )
"JJ" (his childhood nickname)
Gimmick: **UNDER CONSTRUCTION**
Show Preference: Both shows.
Intergender Programs: Yes
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 191 lbs.
Place of Birth: Portland, ME
Current Residence: Arlington, TX
Alignment: Face (Family man-type)
Pic Base: Daniel Bryan (w/ beard)
Appearance/Attire: James' appearance has changed dramatically since his older brother returned to his life. Gone is the scraggly, haggard look that he once had while training at the Palace--not to mention the fake forehead "D2D" tattoo. Instead, we see James' hair and beard has been significantly trimmed down; plus he wears a more polished wardrobe--mainly consisting of blue jean shorts, white tennis shoes, and a shirt featuring his alma mater Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Theme Music: "Shell Shocked (instrumental w/ hook)" -Juicy J feat. Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign
Special Theme Music: "Lightnin' Strikes Again" -Dokken
Entrance: { An instrumental with hook version of "Shell Shocked" by Juicy J, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign, begins to play, and a video package begins to play stock footage of waves crashing, followed by bolts of cloud-to-cloud lightning. }
"Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ As jets of water shoot out from all directions, we tsee James Gilmore stepping out onto the stage, posing along to the hip-hop tune, before high-fiving the crowd and walking down to the ring. }
"(All for one when we fight together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(All for one when we ride together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(All for one when we fight together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(This family can bear any weather)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ Once inside the ring, the Islander alum points heavenward, taking in the moments as he waits for his opponent. }
Special Entrance: { The opening intro to “Shell Shocked” begins to play as we see a video package showcasing James Gilmore from his early childhood days--via black-and-white home movie footage as well as still photos--to his days as a high school and, later in life, a a student of history at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. }
“Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked…”
{ We then see distorted images of Gilmore during his early wrestling career, including images from his successful tag-team run on the independent circuit. The images, as well as the song, start to fuzz out like an old analog TV as images from his IWF career flash through before turning itself off. }
The Voice of James Gilmore:
Guess who's back?!
{ Suddenly, jets of water burst from all sides as the opening strains to the Dokken classic “Lightnin' Strikes Again” begins to play. As a spotlight shines, we see the image of James Gilmore as he rides onto the stage in a custom-built patriotic-themed Harley-Davidson, complete with "#JJLIVES" on his rear license plate. As he revs the motorcycle’s powerful motor, more jets of water shoot up from all sides as we get a closer look at his wrestling attire. }
“The lights go down
You can feel it all around you
Like a razor's edge
That cuts through the air
You can hear the sound
It's coming down like thunder
You don't have to tell me, why
You don't have to care, oh, oh
When the lightnin' strikes again
And the lights go down
And you might be near the end
When the lightnin' strikes again"
{ Tonight, the Islander alum wears attire that looks very reminiscent of what men wore during the era of the Old West--complete with a white long-brimmed hat and even a cigar! The crowd absolutely eats it all up as James tips his hat before revving his engine and driving down the ramp. }
“You draw the line
And you leave it all behind you
Lost your mind
And then you lose control
By the time
That you feel the lightnin' strike you
You know you've been holding back
You've got to let it go, oh, oh
When the lightnin' strikes again
And the lights go down
And you might be near the end
When the lightnin' strikes again"
{ Gilmore stops just a few feet short of the ring and takes off the bandana that serves as his facemask and tossing his hat into the crowd. }
“When the lightnin' strikes again
And the lights go down
And you might be near the end
When the lightnin' strikes again...”
{ James continues to pose for the fans, taking in the moments around him with wonder as he awaits for the bell to sound. }
Primary Style: Hardcore Brawler (think of him as a street fighter)
Secondary Style: Technical (holds and moves primarily used for self-defense on the streets)
Other Style: Lucha Libre (very rarely utilized)
Strengths:
1. Tough Nut to Crack
2. Resourceful
3. He's driven.
Weaknesses:
1. Only one good eye.
2. Sometimes he can be a little too eccentric in the mind, sometimes to the point of getting carried away.
3. He fears losing those closest to him.
Favourite Moves:
1. Suplexes (any variety)
2. Missile dropkick
3. Spinning wheel kick
4. Dropkick
5. Armdrag takedown (a la Ricky Steamboat)
6. High crossbody
7. Spear (with mounted punches)
8. Scoop slam
9. Diving headbutt
10. Samoan drop
Trademark Move(s) and Description(s): "Shellshocker" - This is Gilmore's backwards hurracanrana; it can also be utilized as a finisher out of nowhere.
"Power Wave" - Backshoot lariat (a la Adam Page).
"Iron Claw" - Self-explanatory.
Finisher(s) and Description: "Wipeout" - This is Gilmore's primary (and signature) move--a headscissor takedown transitioned into a triangle choke.
"Hang Ten" - Gilmore places his opponent in a cutthroat torture rack before arcing forward and slamming him to the deck.
Special Finisher: "OUTATIME" - This is a kimura hold that was (and perhaps, still is!) most associated with Fiona McFly; she taught James Gilmore this move, adding that he should save it for the biggest stages of them all. James chose the name "Outatime"--after the license plate on the back of a certain DeLorean--in light of everything he's experienced in recent months in regards to changes within the timeline...well, plus he IS a movie geek after all!
