Wrestler's Name: Bob Pooler
Nickname(s): the Notorious B.O.B, the Queen City Saint
Gimmick: A guy who has been in this game since the late 90’s, he’s ‘been there’ and ‘done that’ more times than he
can count. He’s wrestled in front of twenty, he’s wrestled in front of twenty-thousand; from Japan to Mexico, the
UK to South Africa, Pooler’s done his best to learn anything and everything that he could to give him an edge in the
ring. Now after nearly two decades in the ring when most would be hanging up their boots, he’s pushing on and
looking to further his story and continue to prove the doubters wrong each week with a two simple words, "watch
me!"
Height: 6’1
Weight: 228 lbs
Place of Birth: Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
Alignment: Face
Pic Base: Johnny Gargano
Appearance/Attire: Outside of the ring, Pooler is most comfortable in a pair of jeans; TARDIS blue converse
sneakers; old school pop culture t-shirt and one of his personal black or grey zip-up hoodies.
Inside the ring he wears white/black wrist tape, short purple brief-style trunks with highlights of white, purple and
silver. The trunks have his silhouette logo on the front and Twitch.tv kraken logo on the back. He also sports black
knee pads and black boots, over which he wears silver kickpads. Each kickpad has the numbers 603 with the zero
replaced with the Hearthstone logo. The design is black, and outlined in purple.
Theme Music: The Score – Unstoppable
Entrance: The lights in the arena suddenly turn out, plunging the fans into darkness. Little by little, small beacons of
light begins to pop up as the fans raise their lit cellphone aloft as the #WWIDN appears on the Jumbotron in bright
purple and the opening drumbeat of “Unstoppable” begins to play. Amidst a shower of phone flashes, Pooler steps
out from behind the curtain as the the fans sing along, "WE CAN BE HEROES".
Shielding his eyes with his left hand, he smiles and points to the nosebleed sections with his right before making his
way to the edge of the ramp.
Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring; from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada; weighing in at two hundred and
twenty-eight pounds … Bob … POOOOOLER!
Pooler heads down the ramp, breaking into a run and sliding into the ring beneath the bottom rope. He pops back to
his feet and heads to the nearest corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle and throws his arms into the air to the
roar of the crowd. He drops back down to the ring and grabs hold of the ropes, tugging down on them and taking a
moment to stretch before the match can begin.
Primary Style: Impact Striker
Secondary Style: High Flyer
Other Style: Hardcore/Xtreme, though he has done everything he could to leave that style behind him ever since it
nearly left him paralyzed.
Strengths:
(i) Pooler is a pressure wrestler; the sort of guy who overwhelms you, and beats you, with pace and conditioning.
The vast majority of what he does is focused on wearing down his opponent.
(ii) Is a human windmill; every time his opponent gets out of one encounter, he’s right there with something else!
(iii) Has worked around the world in both small and large companies and, therefore, has acquired years of various
training styles leaving him with a large repertoire to pull from.
Weaknesses:
(i) He is not a pure mat technician. He can be outwrestled and slowed down. Wrestling a faced paced style works to
his advantage; an opponent who forces him to slow down, takes away that advantage.
(ii) In order to put down a difficult opponent he’ll pull out all the stops, sometimes at the detriment of himself.
(iii) Doesn’t know when to quit … physically and verbally
