Role Play Guidelines
Something I’ve heard again and again over the years is “what are the mods looking for in a role play?” Well, I’m going to lay that out here for your reference
1. How well did you sell your character/gimmick?
Did you stick to the character you created, did you sell their overarching story, did you further any progress in their never ending saga, etc?
2. How well did you sell the match/feud/oppoent/title?
Did you talk about the match/feud/opponent/title, how much, how little, did you put them over or completely bury them, did you sell why this match/feud/oppoent/title is important or maybe not important to your character?
3. We reward cumulative effort;
Follow the above 2 criteria over a period of time and you will be rewarded and you will succeed here. IWF is about long term commitment and those who put in the work will see themselves rewarded in kind.
4. You are allowed to make edits for grammar, coding and punctuation purposes up to the deadline but cannot add additional text. Anything beyond that will be counted against you when it comes time to judge role plays and anyone caught adding further text will automatically lose.
DECISION MAKING
Mods who chose to do so will provide recommendations for match winners every single week. Generally Sam finalizes all match results, he utilizes those weekly recommendations of mods to inform those decisions.
We will never respond to "Why did I lose?" messages sent to us. If you would like feedback after a loss it will be provided. But Mods will not be put in a position to defend their choices and we will never reveal how the votes/recommendations broke down.
