The calm Maine field that hold the lucrative convent was disturbed with a loud noise. The sky troubled by the helicopter that was beginning it's decent from above. Inside Jason held on to the bar for dear life, looking a bit pale. Davey Ortega smiled.
First time?
Davey's voice echoed in Jason's ears thanks to the headset. The nervous minion frantically nods his head hoping the ride to be over soon. The other one, Cass, was sitting on the opposite side of Davey with no emotion. This has become a recurring theme with her, something Davey has made sure to make a note of. The landing goes quite smoothly before the three of them unbuckle and step foot on solid ground. Jason seems relived as color comes rushing back to his face, Davey walks past him keeping his eyes locked on the building in front of him. A smile crosses his face as Cass walks up beside him.
Cass: Why couldn't we just drive here? I'm not sure Jason can survive the trip back.
Davey: My limo would never make it this far off the road. No come on, I have work to do...and you have lessons to learn.
Davey walks up the stairs to the big, wooden doors with Cass and Jason foot steps behind. He knocks three times. After a few seconds one of the doors crack open just enough to let a set of peering eyes been seen. The door stays open just long enough for the person on the other side to see who was knocking. The door then quickly slams shut leaving the three of them in a state of befuddlement. After a few more seconds the door swings wide open as a Nun armed with a bowl of what we can assume to be Holy Water. She takes a few steps forward.
Nun: Leave this sacred place! We told weeks ago we didn't want anything to do with you!
Cass: No. You insulted us and threw water in Jason's face.
Nun: And I will do the same to you if you don't leave!
Davey: Alright lady you need too calm down and put the bowl--
Before Davey can finish the nun does the unthinkable. She throws the water in Davey's face with next to no hesitation. The two minions await the eruption though everyone is left speechless as Davey has his hands pressed to his face screaming bloody murder. He flails about before dropping to his knees screeching the entire time. He yells ''It burns!'' as the minions stay in place not sure what to do. The Nun lets out a cry of her own, screaming out ''Mother Superior!'' before turning and running with her hands in the air. As her screams fade into the building, Davey's does as well. Though only into a sick little laugh as he stands up, dusting himself off.
Davey: That's the oldest trick in the book. See, people of God. Idiots.
Jason:....Why?
Davey walks up the thresh hold of the door, though doesn't outright enter the convent. He turns his head to Jason.
Davey: I hate red tape.
Minutes pass with silence as the three stand at the door step, the minions not to sure what to expect next. Voices can soon be heard along with the sound of foot steps. The Nun who threw the water is can be seen coming down the hall way in the ear of another Nun, the dressed differently. This is the Mother Superior who is hushing the other Nun, a scowl on her face as she see's who the ''Devil at the door'' was.
Mother Superior: I have been expecting you for some time.
Davey: I sent my lackeys. Had my lawyers call the bank who owns this heavenly piece of property. From my understanding you seem adamant on keeping me away from negotiations.
Mother Superior: We do good here, Mr. Ortega. I know what you would do with this land, with our home. A haven for sinners.
Davey: Only the ones who can pay.
Mother Superior: So greed is your sin.
Davey: No...I'm a fan of all seven. Now can you please step off your moral high ground long enough to conduct business. You must know you are in massive debt, and the deadline is fast approaching. Let me tell you I will not be as generous in my bid is this property goes to auction.
Mother Superior: Their will be no auction. I know just telling you will make no difference so please, come inside and have a look for yourself.
Davey seems skeptical yet obliges and enters. The minions begins to follow but Davey turns around and stops them.
Davey: You had your chance. Sit this one out.
Cass: But how are we supposed to learn if we aren't there?
Davey slowly shuts the door rather than answer the question. He turns his attention back to the Mother Superior as she starts walking. They walk half way down the hall way, Davey noticing plastic sheets hanging haphazardly on door ways. Davey stops, looking out the window seeing plots of land tied off, construction imminent.
Davey: What is going on? It looks like you are getting ready for renovations.
Mother Superior: Already begun, actually. Accommodations for classrooms, bigger cafeteria and housing, along with plans for a playground. We will soon be a licensed orphanage. The state has agreed to help with funding now that we will be providing this service.
Davey: Nice idea. Only thing is why now? Why not a year ago to avoid all of this? Please don't give me a heap of the gospel truth. Don't hold out on me who gave you this idea?
Mother Superior: Well, I like to think of it as divine intervention, honestly we never would of given it serious consideration had it not been for your employees. One of them made a comment about the charities you donate too, all children charities. So a few phone calls, and a few lucky prayers answered, we were able too begin renovations and by next fall be ready to open.
Davey looks around, knowing he just wasted a helicopter ride. He doesn't look angry or even frustrated, he simply turns around and begins to walk to the door. He walks tall, not allowing this defeat to discourage him. He puts his hand on the door knob before turning around to the Mother Superior.
Davey: Don't go around spreading the charity knowledge. I have a reputation to uphold.
Mother Superior: Between you, me and God.
Davey: Hopefully you can keep a secret.
Davey turns the door knob opening the door leaving the building. He walks past Jason and Cass. Davey walks down the stairs toward the helicopter. Promptly saying ''Lets go'' as the two begin to follow. Davey gets in the helicopter putting the helmet on as Jason and Cass get in. Everyone gets settled as Davey gives the signal to the pilot to start her up.
Davey: Intriguing plan. Letting the Mother Superior know of one of my few good deeds, as well as the protesters a few days ago. I know the two of you conspired against me, the only thing I can't put my finger on is why.
Cass: We weren't conspiring against you so much as we were against the idea. You were going to put a lot of people out on the street, and you were going to do it with such glee. You hired us, picked us out of many potential people. In your own words you said our main job is to keep you grounded.
Jason: Also we didn't think Dr. Preston would let you go through with it.
Davey: Well, at least you are doing one job correctly.
The helicopter begins to ascend from the majestic field and soon flies off into the distance. A happy ending for everyone involved for once.

Xavier Cross, the very first IWF World Heavyweight Champion and current co champion of said title. A name some think was unjustly left off my list. Xavier I want you to understand that I did not forget about you. Oh no I know you are heavy hitter here, I mean how could you not be. Your IWF career has the beginnings of a future hall of famer, and you are off doing your own thing in order to concrete that notion. That is the only reason you were left off my little rant last week, because you may have problems with The Empire but as far as the head of the serpent goes you are far more likely to step aside and allow someone more deserving to slay the false god. I'm not saying you are a coward Xavier, simply that you know it is not meant for you to end the career of Spike Kane. You may have these foolish ideas in your brain that Rob Diamond or Alex Jones is the chosen one but those beliefs will be shaken when they fall, fail...die trying.
Some people seem to think I am a little to obsessed, X. Can I call you X? Well I guess it doesn't really matter if you object or not. I have read the internet posts and tweets saying that I over looked St. Croix last week, and Nero Blake at the pay per view. That my single minded devotion to the ultimate goal has cost me more than helped me. I honestly chuckled at those ridiculous deductions. True a loss never looks good, but sometimes a win is just so lackluster that it will ultimately blend in to my statistics. I could of beat them within an inch of their respective lives but what would that accomplish? I already handed Ryan Shane and Stephen Kinglsy career altering beatings, why do the same to two real rising stars? Besides take a look at my IWF history, when my back is against the wall and it is a do or die situation this genius always beats the odds and comes out smelling like roses. I took on Mike Laszlo in a Man of Steel match, a match he himself has claimed to redefine. I took the ''New Face'' of the MoS division to technical limits he didn't know existed. When the bell rang it was due to his frequent tapping to my Saturday Night Ride, desperately trying to escape the clutches of a mad man. When I needed to send my first message I used the very first IWF champion and nCw's whipping boy Joe Everyman as my note pad. I painted the ring, and my own fist, with his blood and no one dared to stop me.
I want you to remember that. Drop any preconceived notions you may have when stepping inside that ring against me. You may have your loose alliance but they won't come to your aid when I use you to send my next message. That message is that I am ready to step in the ring with the elite in the company. That I can go toe to toe with any champion and show them they are champion in name only. I am ready to prove that I can handle everything they are able to put in my way and Xavier you are the first person placed in my way. This match has so much riding on it for me, a loss is not optional here. In order to get my hands on Spike I have to be in a particular match. A match that pits Champions and Contenders in an epic battle. Though I think we all know that I only want to be in the first Extermination match for one champion. This week I will make history and be named the first man representing The Contenders and head into the Extermination match with a game plan and very dark ambitions.
Xavier if you have any desire to be in that match defending your co owned title then I strongly suggest you just lay down this week. I am going into our match focused on one thing, putting you down. Making sure that you, Xavier Cross, becomes an image in my rear view mirror on my way to bigger and better things. If I have to I will lock you in my patented Saturday Night Ride and never let you out. I will hear your screams and plead and joyfully reach back until you simply pass out. Make no mistake you are entering a match with a determined individual and I will do anything to secure my spot and prove to the world that one of the greatest heavyweights in our industry can not best the worlds smartest athlete.
