SEGMENT"An appeal."
------------------------------------
{ The blonde woman was slight in build and carried herself with a certain assurance that had come natural, if only from her upbringing. She was dressed modestly, blonde hair tied up in a tight bun and an expired backstage pass security didn’t dare check once they checked her ID for fear of dealing with her father hanging from her hip. Occasionally, her eyes would dart from one end of the hall to the other until finally she seemed to find just the right face.
She just hoped it was alone, considering she hadn’t told anyone she’d be pulling this stupid ass stunt. }HOPE KNOX: Hayleigh, right?
{ Her voice was kinder than her dad’s, although that wasn’t hard to attain. The raven haired girl who we now know is Hayleigh Blake turns to see who was asking for her. Her blueish gray eyes looked up and down the blonde girl before her. }Hayleigh Blake: Can I help you?
{ Hope smiles, offering a hand. }Hope Knox: I was hoping we could help each other. My name's Hope. I think our dads are trying to murder each other or something?
{ Hayleigh shakes Hope’s hand while simultaneously letting out an exasperated sigh. }Hayleigh Blake: Yeah…
{ Hayleigh looks past Hope for a moment before responding further. }Hayleigh Blake: You hoping we can talk them out of it or is this some elaborate ruse to lure me into a trap?
{ Hope snorts at this, shaking her head. }Hope Knox: Nope. Dad's not one for traps or dragging families into this. He doesn't even know I'm here yet, I think.
{ A pause. }Hope Knox: So I thought. Maybe I can talk to you. See if we can find a way, together, to guide them away from where this is going because dad doesn't do traps. But he does do vengeance.
{ Hayleigh seems to consider this for a moment. }Hayleigh Blake: I-uh…
{ Hayleigh lets out a little laugh. }Hayleigh Blake: I don’t know how well you know my dad but he’s got a one track mind.
{ Halyeigh shakes her head a little. }Hayleigh Blake: But fuck it, what’s your idea?
Hope Knox: All we can do is appeal to the side of them that does stupid things to protect us without us ever asking for protection.
{ Hope shifts, furrowing her brow. }Hope Knox: I think the best route is probably to just be straight up with them, get them to count the costs. Settle it in a match before it gets settled in a court of law, you know?
{ Hayleigh shrugs her shoulders a little bit. }Hayleigh Blake: It’s totally worth a shot.
Hope Knox: Someone a lot more famous than either of them once said, Give Peace a Chance…but God knows neither one of them will ever stop long enough to consider themselves.. So alright, I’ll talk to him. You handle yours and lets hope for the best.
{ A pause. }Hope Knox: He doesn’t blame you, by the way…the whole ‘root and stem’ thing. He just waxes poetic, says it “Softens the gaze of the enemy and paints a different picture than what they’ll find between the bells”...because he cuts promos at home, too.
{ Or did…, but she left that out. }Hayleigh Blake: Thanks, I appreciate that. Good luck!
Hope Knox: You too!

SINGLES MATCH
3000 Word Limit
"Demon Slayer" Warren Harper vs. "The Dragon" Travis Levitt------------------------------------
{ The match started off hot between Warren Harper and Travis Levitt with the two of them exchanging technical maneuvers for the first few minutes. Travis would transition away from his technical style and go straight into brutal striking at around the four minute mark. Warren tried to hold him off but the chops sent shock waves through out the building. Travis would eventually try to lawn dart Warren into the ring apron and this is where Warren turned things around. }{After escaping the lawn dart, Warren would connect with a Fade to Grey superkick and follow it right up with the Crisis of Faith slingblade. Warren took full control of the match from that point and hit a chain of moves, a jumping knee, several knife edge chops, a double underhook DDT and he capped it off with a London Calling yakuza kick! }{ Warren didn’t waste anytime trying to keep cutting the big man down as the eight minute mark came and went. Warren locked the big man into the Persecution Complex and held him there for a good long while. Travis would eventually drag himself to the ropes for the break but the damage was already done at this point. Warren would connect with a Last Breath exploder suplex and with the big man down and hurt, Warren decided to take the match home. Warren pulled Travis up to his feet and connected with the Reclamation Stunner! Warren made the cover! }1…

Alison Valance: Your winner by pinfall, WARREN HARPER!!!!
{ Warren celebrated his victory while his music plays. }Terri Morasco: The winning streak continues!
Vasco Dias: Warren looked incredible tonight! I think he’s about to ready to swim with some of the bigger fish!
{ We close on a shot of Warren mouthing at the camera before we take a break. }------------------------------------
SEGMENTInterview w/ Khardiata Senghor
------------------------------------
{ Khardiata Senghor struts down the hallway. Her face is neutral. Regardless her eyes clearly showcase that she's got a lot on her mind. She's wearing a blue cardigan that has ruffles on the cuff of the sleeves and the hemline, blue cargo pants with ruffles going down the side seams, a bronze necklace, a bronze headband, a bronze bracelet, a watch with bronze straps, and bronze sneakers. Her hair is braided and dyed in dark red and auburn stripes with her natural dark roots. She continues her confident strut until someone calls out to her. } : “Excuse me Khardiata. Can I do an interview with you?”{ Khardiata stops and turns to look at whoever just spoke to her. It's the interviewer Maria Iniesta. }Khardiata Senghor: “Fine.”{ Khardiata says it as if she's run out of patience already. Maria takes her position next to Khardiata in front of the camera. Maria tries to use a perky tone but she comes across as too shy. }Maria Iniesta: “Hello IWF fans. This is Maria Iniesta and next to me is Khardiata Senghor.”{ Maria gestures to Khardiata. }Maria Iniesta: “On the last episode of Odyssey you put up a valiant effort but lost to 'Aphrodite Incarnate' Atara Raven. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to defeat her. So what's next for you?”{ Khardiata rolls her eyes. She does her best to restrain herself from showing an irritated facial expression. }Khardiata Senghor: “Going forward. Improving my in ring skills. That's what's next. There's nothing else to do but that. What am I supposed to do? Slink away into obscurity because I lost? That sounds like something Atara would like me to do. That's not going to happen. Nobody is gonna get rid of me.”Maria Iniesta: “Since you don't believe that anyone can get rid of you who else would you like to compete against here in the Imperial Wrestling Federation?”Khardiata Senghor: “I don't want to wrestle men. So as for the ladies – I use that term loosely – I will take on any of them. It's the only way to get better. It's the only way to get to the top and become a number one contender for the IWF Women's World title. Because that's what I ultimately came into the professional wrestling business to be. And anybody else that isn't interested in that I'm gonna knock them out of the way one after another.”{ Khardiata takes out her cellphone. She scrolls and clicks around on it. She pauses as if reading something. Then she puts the cellphone away. }Maria Iniesta: “There are a lot of people who claim that you're being - ”Khardiata Senghor: “I have to go. Eddie D. said he's want to have a meeting with me tonight. And I already can tell that it won't go well.”{ Khardiata struts away not even looking at Maria one last time. She has a miserable facial expression. Maria shyly gives eye contact to the camera lens. She seems embarrassed to be disregarded so coldly. }Maria Iniesta: “Well those were short and simple words from 'Lady Savvy'. Back to the next match.”------------------------------------
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
3000 Word Limit
Atara Raven vs. Caroline Machado vs. Legion------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Those were some strong words from Khardiata Senghor, Vasco; but in our very women's division, it's highly likely all three of the women in our next match are going to be vying for that number one contendership as well.
Vasco Dias: Winning this match won't instantly make any of these women the number one contender, just to be clear, Morasco. I'm sure Randon Haynes will sit down with Brooklyn to get her very valuable input–
Terri Morasco: By input, you mean allow her to hand select, if she wants. Am I right?
Vasco Dias: No! Before I was so rudely interrupted by the sound of your shrill voice, I was going to say I'm sure the winner of this match will probably have a leg up on the other two women in their eyes though.
{ The lights go out in the arena, as a cling sound like coins being tossed in the air is heard. The screen begins to flicker, as a man is shown walking through a forest, tossing three gold coins in the air. He follows a path carrying the coins and a lantern. A woman stands towards the end of his path, as she turns to her. She keeps her head down, as the woman offers her the coins, she inspects them, as she looks down as she begins to kneel. She places her hand on her shoulder as the screen shuts off, and the two appear on the stage, the song begins playing, as Legion turns to the crowd, placing the gold coins in her chest, Ms J standing behind her. }The sky grows dark
Decay underneath
The ravens in the sky
And kings shall deceive
We have come into the night
Plunder and raise and war are nigh
We have come into the night
Plunder and raise and war are nigh
We will fight (we will fight)
Vikings (vikings)
For Ragnarök
{ Legion begins her slow walk down from the top of the apron as she sways with the music, her eyes glowing in the dark. She looks up into the ring where there is no one awaiting her, as she makes her way to the bottom, turning slowly as the beat begins to pick up. }I can feel it in my veins
The warrior inside me
Drengr of Ragnarök
Drengr of Ragnarök
Drengr of Ragnarök
Welcome to Valhalla
The sounds of horns
Fierce morality
The nightfall reigns
And the silence bleeds
{ As she climbs the stairs, she slowly slides into the ring, with red spotlights on her. She cackles slightly, as she looks around. She then slowly backs into a corner sitting down, staring up the ramp as Ms J makes her way to ringside. The lights come on, as the music cuts out. }Terri Morasco: This will be our first look at Legion, Vasco. She comes to us from Tokyo, Japan… which has always been a hotbed for professional wrestling. She hasn't come alone, either. That's a very formidable looking woman standing in her corner at ringside.
Vasco Dias: What's the deal with the name though, Morasco? Unless she has split personality disorder, she looks like just one woman to me! I see two arms, two legs, and thankfully only one head!
Terri Morasco: Well I don't exactly know if it's defined clinically as split-
Vasco Dias: Wait, is this our first ever handicap Triple Threat match?! Is that what you're telling me, Morasco?!
Terri Morasco: No!
{ The honeyed rasp of Atara's voice blares over the facility's PA in unison with those words appearing on the multitude of screens and displays littering the arena. }HELLO DOVES
{ The crowd pops and gets to their feet shouting in near total unison a single word. }OPA!
{ Arena lights start to pulse in time with the music and multiple vertical streams of pyro erupt across the front of stage. Strutting with purpose, Atara emerges from the back taking spot centerstage atop the ramp. Posing for the camera, a wink and kiss is given to the viewers at home. }{ Grunge walking to the ring steps, she climbs and stops at the top to posture again for her adoring public. Hand on her hip, the Grecian moves to the middle of the apron to blows a final kiss to the camera and enters the ring through the middle rope. }Vasco Dias: I'll say this, Morasco- Atara is a beautiful and talented woman. I want to like her. I watch Odyssey though, and I have to question how smart she is for sticking her nose into things that don't involve her. I'm sure Senghor would love another crack at her, and then she is going to meddle in Terrella's business?!
Terri Morasco: It's called doing the right thing, Vasco. The right thing may not always be the easy thing, but thankfully she did what she did.
Vasco Dias: What shirt did you steal that off of? Look, you do the smart thing -the selfish thing- every time. It's called self preservation, Morasco! It's a life skill!
"Her ongoing mission...to boldly go where no one has gone before..."
{ The voice of Sir Patrick Stewart echoes throughout the arena before Dua Lipa's "Levitating" begins to blare. A blast a pyro goes off as Caroline Machado heads out to the stage, dancing to the beat of the tune while sporting a brief, but warmhearted grin on her face. }"(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I got you, moonlight, you're my starlight
I need you, all night
Come on, dance with me
(I'm levitating)
You, moonlight, you're my starlight
I need you, all night
Come on, dance with me
(I'm levitating)"
{ The Brazilian shimmies and twirls down the ramp, often stopping to give some lucky fans a hug or two. Her motion is fluid as she makes her way down to the ring, again dancing to the beats. }"You can fly away with me tonight
You can fly away with me tonight
Baby, let me take you for a ride
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(I'm levitating)
You can fly away with me tonight
You can fly away with me tonight
Baby, let me take you for a ride
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)..."
{ The lights fade out to a rotating green and yellow hue, with Caroline continuing to dance and pose for the cheering crowd. Eventually, the lights come back on as she gets into her MMA fighting position and waits for the match to start. }Terri Morasco: It's great to see the fun-loving Caroline back in action this week, Vasco. No doubt she'll be looking to build some momentum here as she tries to climb back into the title picture again.
Vasco Dias: She should probably ditch this whole deal she has going on then and find a new mentor, because nice girls finish last! In fact, they get run over by the pace car when it laps them!
Terri Morasco: That's… an opinion, I suppose. Don't listen to him though, children.
Vasco Dias: They should be pitiful forever then, like you?
{ The referee for this contest, Jessica Andrews, calls for the opening bell! }Ding!
{ Legion comes out of the gate aggressively, catching Caroline with a Bicycle Kick as Machado tries to prepare herself against both women moving in on her. No alliance will be made though as Atara spins Legion into a German Suplex that dumps her on the canvas. Caroline comes up clutching her jaw as Atara looks to move in on her, but Machado quickly turns the tide on her with a BJJ style foot sweep that takes Atara down. Machado tries to work her way up into a mount on her slightly larger adversary, looking to do damage with some strikes. Legion recovers enough to smash Caroline in the back with a big clubbing forearm though, enabling her to rip Caroline off of Atara and into a sideslam style backbreaker! Caroline writhes on the canvas in pain. Legion gets little time to relish in the aftermath, however, as Atara hoists her up and puts her down hard with the "Birth of Venus"! Raven goes for a cover! Referee Jessica Andrews promptly slides into position for a count! }One!
Two!!
No!!!
{ Caroline Machado dives in to break up the fall! }Terri Morasco: Atara very nearly scored the victory there! Caroline came in at the last moment though to save the match for herself!
Vasco Dias: That's part of the difficulty in a match like this, Morasco. You have to keep your head on a swivel. Machado may actually be foolish enough to think happy, positive thoughts about Legion… but she damn sure cares about winning. She's not going to let Atara have that.
Terri Morasco: Caroline picks Atara up… putting her down with a scoop slam onto Legion! That's some clever offense by Machado to take out two birds with one stone!
Vasco Dias: Legion wisely rolling to the outside though after having a hundred and for- er, maybe let's say a hundred and ten pounds dropped on her chest.
{ Atara gets to one knee, favoring her lower back. Caroline takes Raven's head in both hands and dishes out a punishing headbutt to the back of it! Caroline follows up with a big knee lift to Atara's face, leaving her laying flat on her back on the canvas! Caroline tries to capitalize with a quick cover near the ropes, hooking Atara's leg and drawing her arm tight to her body. The referee splashes down on the canvas with haste for the count! }One!
Two!
No!!!
{ Legion breaks up the count with a diving double ax handle to the back of Caroline's neck! }Terri Morasco: Caroline almost got the win there! I don't think she ever saw Legion coming though!
Vasco Dias: That was a heavy blow, too. It may have knocked the enormous amount of air in Caroline's head right out of it!
{ Legion snatches Caroline up, drilling her underneath the chin with a European Uppercut… followed quickly by a decapitating short-armed lariat! Legion spies Atara getting back up. The Queenslayer hoists the Goddess up, holding her in the air for a few seconds to a few awes from the crowd before dropping her on her head with a brain buster style suplex! Legion covers Atara for a pin, and the referee once more positions herself for a very timely count! }One!
Two!!
No!!!
{ Atara Raven kicks out! Legion appears a little bit surprised by the kickout, but keeps her composure as she starts to pull Atara off the mat. Machado comes up behind Legion, however, surprising her with a belly-to-back suplex! Caroline turns to Atara, delivering a stiff kick to knock her from the ring! Legion is trying to regain a vertical base, but Caroline catches her with a double leg takedown! Legion tries to cover up as Caroline rains down some elbows from mount! The powerful Legion is able to turn the pile on Caroline, putting Machado on her back. Legion starts blasting Caroline with strikes! Atara is up on the outside, grabbing the middle rope to pull herself up back inside when a hooded figure jumps the barricade! As Atara gets up onto the apron, the hooded figure pulls Atara off by her boot, landing her face on the apron! }Terri Morasco: Who is this?!
Vasco Dias: You got me!
{ The figure pulls her hood down, revealing herself to be the Black Widow Brandy Cvetkova! She spits black mist into Atara's eyes, blinding her! }Terri Morasco: That's the Black Widow! We know her ties run deep with Terrella! This can't be a coincidence!
Vasco Dias: This is why you don't meddle!
Terri Morasco: The Widow with that sick, sadistic smile on her face!... and she takes Atara Raven into the steel guardrail with a side Russian leg sweep! Atara's head just bounced off that steel! I know this is payback for Atara coming to the aid of Matt Knox! I know it!
{ The Widow hovers her lips over Atara's ear as Atara lays on the floor. }Black Widow: Hello, Dove.
{ Brandy traces her tongue up Atara's cheek. Meanwhile, back inside the ring, Caroline works off her back to transition Legion into her version of the triangle choke she calls "Cavar! Cavar! Cavar!" Legion tries to hold on momentarily as Ms J looks on with concern, but with nowhere to go in the middle of the ring, Legion has to tap out. The referee calls for the bell. }Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
{ Caroline releases the hold as her music hits! Cvetkova is backing up the ramp when Caroline spots her, not realizing what had happened on the outside. Caroline doesn't look at all happy as Brandy bites down on her gloved hand while looking at Caroline. }Terri Morasco: Caroline got a big victory, but you know she didn't want it like that, Vasco! She wanted it fairly, and while she did earn it, this still goes against everything she believes in!
Vasco Dias: Just take the W and be happy! Those other two women would, I bet. No hesitation.
Terri Morasco: We have to go to a break, but we'll be right back!
------------------------------------
SEGMENT"We need to be ready."
------------------------------------
{ We come back from the break to the raven haired Hayleigh Blake making her way through the backstage area of the Rocket Mortgage Field House. She rounds a corner and comes to a stop before the private locker room of her father, Angel Blake. She hesitates for a moment before knocking on the door. }Hayleigh Blake: Dad, you decent?
{ The door opens revealing her father in all his horrible painted glory despite not being on tonight’s card. }Angel Blake: Always.
Hayleigh Blake: Great!
{ Hayleigh playfully brushes past her father and into his locker room where she sees Tara Fenix is also present. }Hayleigh Blake: Awesome, I’m glad you’re both here, actually.
Tara Fenix: What’s going on, hun?
{ Angel closes the door as he and Tara stand to either side of Hayleigh. }Hayleigh Blake: So… Don’t get mad.
Angel Blake: What did you do?
Hayleigh Blake: Nothing! Well, not yet. So Hope Knox approached me.
{ Angel’s fists immediately ball up. }Angel Blake: Did that putrid pig send her to attack you!?
{ Tara also straightens up as if preparing to go to war. }Hayleigh Blake: No!
{ Hayleigh actually laughs at how ready they both are to burn something to the ground. }Hayleigh Blake: She just wanted to talk.
Tara Fenix: What about?
Hayleigh Blake: Our dads trying to kill one another, basically.
{ Tara and Angel exchange glances. }Hayleigh Blake: Look, I know this is your whole deal, punishing the wicked and all that but-
{ She pauses as she looks her father deep in his cold, black eyes. }Hayleigh Blake: Do you think just this one time you can put your differences aside and just settle things in the ring instead of trying to destroy one another’s lives?
{ Angel and Tara look at each other again. }Angel Blake: So he sent her to take the cowards way out?
Hayleigh Blake: No!
Angel Blake: He realized how grievous his error in crossing me that he sent a child to wave the white flag?
Hayleigh Blake: DAD! You burnt his freaking gym down! Terrella followed suit and burnt the guys house down! He’s got a family, just like you, a legacy, people who care about him!
Angel Blake: So?
Tara Fenix: Honey?
{ Tara interjects with her hand on Angel’s shoulder. }Tara Fenix: Maybe listen to her for a second?
Angel Blake: Ok.
Hayleigh Blake: Look, this whole thing has already gone too far and I can only speak for myself but I don’t want to see anyone get seriously hurt. You two don’t like each other, fine but keep it in the ring.
{ Angel just listens. }Hayleigh Blake: Talk to him. Hash it out. Agree to disagree but stop trying to ruin each other’s livelihoods? Can you do that?
Angel Blake: For you? I will.
Hayleigh Blake: Thank you!
{ Hayleigh says slightly exasperated. The group share a hug before pulling apart again. }Hayleigh Blake: Thank you for listening to me.
Angel Blake: You’re welcome.
Hayleigh Blake: Ok! I feel good. I think I’ll go try and talk Uncle Chris out of making an ass of himself again tonight.
{ Angel and Tara both laugh. }Angel and Tara: Goodluck!
{ Hayleigh throws them a small wave before leaving the locker room. Tara and Angel both look at each other for a few moments. }Tara Fenix: What do you think?
Angel Blake: I think if he tries anything next week I’ll burn a whole lot more than a building. Inform Sabin, we need to be ready.
{ Tara nods as we cut to black. }------------------------------------
HEIR TO THE THRONE
SINGLES MATCH
3000 Word LimitWraith vs. Matt Knox------------------------------------
{ A hush falls over the crowd as they await the arrival of the current IWF World Television and Tag Team Champion, Wraith is the last one left to make their appearance… The lights throughout the Rocket Mortgage Field House all go out, and the opening music of “Death’s Door” begins to play. It doesn’t last long until the lights come back on, and Wraith stands perched on the turnbuckle, overlooking everybody in the ring. One title around his waist, and one title around his neck. He hops down from the turnbuckle and cocks his head to the side as the music fades into the background. }Terri Morasco: Here he is, now in his third year of coming close to winning Heir to the Throne and one of the favorites to take the whole thing. Wraith! What do you think of his odds of winning here tonight, Vasco?
Vasco Dias: I’ve said it before, and I’m going to say it again! Wraith! Is! The! Favorite! Everyone is looking to win Heir to the Throne every time it comes around, but Wraith has come close two years in a row, and he is just on another level! He is competing… BETTER… than when he was as the IWF Men’s World Champion, Terri! BETTER! And that’s saying something. That’s why he is the favorite to win this whole thing, and I just don’t think Matt Knox has what it takes to end him here tonight!
{ The houselights cut out, a single Raven cries out soon joined by another, then another until the cries of an entire unkindness fill the house sound system, soon broken by "Hell Broke Luce" by Tom Waits cutting through, the house lights coming up to a dull blue as a single white strobe light pulses in time to the song's percussion. Standing in the middle of that pulsing light, back to the ring, stands Matthew Knox adorned in his ring gear and a sleeveless hoodie. Arms outstretched like a bird in flight he pivots on a heel and begins making his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and picking a corner to charge and leap upon to scream the audience into a frenzy. He takes a lap around the ring, before kneeling in a corner and patiently waiting for the ring to sound. }Terri Morasco: And now we have Matt Knox in the ring, the former IWF Invictus Champion, one of the greatest IWF TV Champions! And you just really have to think that he would love to win Heir to the Throne and complete the trifecta by challenging, and hopefully winning the IWF Men’s World Championship from Dean Harper!
Vasco Dias: He is a lunatic, Terri! A raging lunatic! He has come in here firing all guns against the Blakes, against the Dochertys, like he's some sort of vigilante! You can’t argue against the family for fighting back against him! No one in their right mind can!
Terri Morasco: These two have had some bad blood between them for a long time! Can you believe this, Vasco? This match is being brought to everyone FOR FREE! This is a match that could easily headline any pay-per-view, even Night of the Immortals!
Vasco Dias: There’s no denying the spectacle that this is going to be because as much as I don’t like Matt Knox–
Terri Morasco: And you weren’t even fond of Wraith that long ago…
Vasco Dias: I always respected that the kid could go! AS I WAS SAYING! Matt Knox can go! He has been in the ring with some of the best that we have ever seen, and he has held his own, and he has even defeated them! He is coming into this a little bit down on his luck after what happened last week at Odyssey… Alexandra Calaway won the Invictus Championship from Matt Knox!
Terri Morasco: But that could be something that really fuels him here tonight.
{ The crowd is continuously buzzing while awaiting for the sound of the bell that would signify the beginning of this battle. Both of the combatants are visibly eager for this match to begin, and the referee calling this match is none other than Colt Collins as he strokes his beard whilst walking toward the center of the ring. }Colt Collins: Oh, BABY!
{ Colt shouts whilst glancing back and forth at the two fighters, knowing that they are going to get nothing but fireworks! The crowd shares the enthusiastic chant as the referee, and he gestures to the crowd before finally pointing to Matt Knox. }Colt Collins: ARE YOU READY?!
{ A subtle nod from Knox, and then Collins points to Wraith. }Colt Collins: ARE YOU READY?!
{ Another nod, and both of the fighters get into a fighting stance as they anticipate the sound of the bell. Without further ado: Colt signals the bell! }DING!{ The combatants waste no time charging to the center of the ring, and rather than going for a traditional start, the fists are already flying! Knox and Wraith swing back and forth at one another to the utter excitement from the crowd as they are damn near deafening with how this match has already begun… }Vasco Dias: There’s nothing being held back here!
Terri Morasco: You can see how badly they’ve been wanting this fight, and that’s all that we’re getting in these opening seconds, Vasco! A FIGHT!
{ All Colt Collins can do inside of the ring is stand a safe distance away from Knox and Wraith as they continue fighting back and forth with just fists flying! The crowd is still going crazy for the brawl ensuing. Knox starts to get the upper hand against the younger fighter, beating him to the punch and taking the advantage as he shoves him back into the corner– Knox is able to raise an arm to pin Wraith against the corner, using his height advantage as he starts driving in some heavy front kicks to the sternum! Knox follows up with knee strikes while Wraith is still trapped in the corner. }Terri Morasco: The former Invictus Champion is not someone you want to be in the striking game against, and the thing you have to remember is that Wraith is no pushover in that department!
{ Knox snatches Wraith by the wrist, and sends him off to the opposite corner! As Wraith nears it, he springs to the top rope whilst Knox is following in, and back flips over him to land back in the center of the ring– the crowd pops for the display of athleticism, and Knox is able to stop himself from crashing into the corner. } Vasco Dias: A perfect landing!
Terri Morasco: A perfect landing, and that shows the athleticism that Wraith does possess! Knox is a little slow to turn around here, but he was coming in at full force against Wraith!
{ He turns fast but is unable to defend himself from the onslaught from Wraith, while he starts delivering forearm strikes against the veteran! Wraith fires with everything he has: forearms, elbows, and then as Knox falls back into the corner, a huge KNIFE EDGE CHOP! }Crowd: WOOOOO!
{ A second chop! }Crowd: WOOOOO!
{ A third! }Crowd: WOOOOO!
{ The knife edge chops start firing in faster and faster, and the crowd isn’t able to keep up any longer…but Knox catches Wraith with a back elbow that staggers The Heir, but Wraith retaliates! Wraith with the spinning back fist, but Knox is able to duck it and pull Wraith into a fireman’s carry position– Wraith is trying to fight back with several elbows, but Knox has his arm locked to prevent him from getting any sort of power behind the elbows, and then flings him up and down with INTO THE VOID! Knox stumbles back against the ropes after hitting the knee. Colt Collins is ready to go down to make the count, anticipating Knox’s pin attempt to follow. }Vasco Dias: Oh, I didn’t see this coming!
Terri Morasco: INTO THE VOID and Matt Knox could just need to make the cov– whaaat?
{ The crowd gasps when Wraith gets right back to his feet, sneering at Matt Knox who looks like he had just seen a ghost… } Crowd: YOU CAN’T KILL HIM!
{ Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap! }Crowd: YOU CAN’T KILL HIM!
{ Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap! }Crowd: YOU CAN’T KILL HIM!
{ Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap! }{ The mild chant breaks out amongst the crowd. Wraith cracks his neck and beckons Matt Knox in, and Knox goes and takes the bait! Knox goes for a quick clothesline, but Wraith is able to duck to the side whilst driving a knee against Knox’s sternum– and now Wraith hoists Matt Knox into the fireman’s carry! Matt Knox tries to battle much like Wraith, but to no avail, as Wraith flings Knox upward and brings him down with LIGHTS OUT! The same maneuver, but different name! }Terri Morasco: LIGHTS OUT FOR MATT KNOX! I can’t believe how quickly this has just shifted!
Colt Collins: OH, BABY!
{ Wraith is a little off-balance after hitting the knee, and stumbles in a wide circle as Colt Collins is looking to make the count! Just as Wraith is about to dive for the cover, MATT KNOX KIPS TO HIS FEET! The crowd pops huge as Matt Knox and Wraith lock eyes. }Vasco Dias: Can you feel that energy, Terri? Can you feel what is getting all of these fans in Cleveland getting out of their seats?!
Terri Morasco: Both Wraith and Matt Knox have just shrugged off the finishers of the other! And I can’t believe it!
{ Matt Knox and Wraith begin mouthing off at each other, as Wraith points to his chin as an invitation for Matt Knox to take a free strike– Knox obliges with a heavy elbow! The elbow staggers Wraith for a moment, but he’s still standing… Knox then points at his own chin and invites Wraith to take a free shot. }Terri Morasco: There is no way that Matt Knox is going to take a free shot without giving one in return for this one!
Vasco Dias: It’s not smart. Not by either man!
{ Wraith obliges with a heavy elbow, and Knox winces after the shot but he’s still standing… He nods his head for the encounter, and the two share a few more words with each other before finally going into a collar-and-elbow lock! Knox quickly transitions into a side headlock before dragging Wraith down with a headlock takedown, but Wraith is able maneuver himself and take Knox down into a headscissors– Knox is able to kip up and out of it before Wraith can get the hold locked in, and Wraith sits up as Knox fires for a roundhouse kick! Wraith ducks under, and goes for a quick leg sweep, but Knox is able to jump up and over…while in the same motion, Wraith returns to his feet, only for Knox to go for a belly-to-side suplex, but Wraith is able to hook his leg to prevent himself from being lifted…Wraith drags Knox over with an arm drag, and rolls through! Wraith goes for a fast clothesline as Knox stands back up, but Knox ducks and raises Wraith for a back body drop! Wraith is able to keep the momentum in the motion and lands back on his feet behind Knox… He gets him into a reverse waist lock, and Knox rushes forward to avoid a heavy suplex– he tries to hook his arms around the ropes, but to no avail, and Wraith rolls Knox backward into an O’Connor Roll! }Terri Morasco: Wraith going for a roll up here!

{ KNOX KICKS OUT, SHOVING WRAITH OFF! Wraith isn’t able to regain his full balance and falls backwards, as Knox sits up and gets him into a rear naked choke! Unable to get the hold fully locked in, Wraith twists and contorts himself to try to break free, but Knox has enough of him to keep battling for the lock! }Vasco Dias: No, no way!
Terri Morasco: Matt Knox is trying to get that choke hold in, and it looks like he’s almost got it! Wraith is still trying to fight it off, and it… oof! Wraith with some hard elbows against Matt’s side while Matt can’t defend himself so long as he’s trying to get that hold in!
{ Knox finally has no choice but to release his attempt at the hold, and as Wraith rolls away, Matt also scoots to the ropes and uses them to get onto his feet… Wraith is the second to his feet, and he immediately charges Knox who raises Wraith up for a shoulder back toss! Wraith is able to grab the ropes and bring himself back down onto the ring apron, and seemingly sensing it, Knox hits a spinning roundhouse kick that knocks Wraith off of the ring apron! }Colt Collins: OH, BABY!
{ The crowd chants with the referee after the big hit from Matt Knox, and Colt Collins is there to insist Matt stay inside of the ring– Wraith is on the outside, on all fours while trying to shake off the damage, and Matt pays no mind to Colt in his plea… Matt follows to the outside, and immediately kicks Wraith in the side, sending him tumbling! }Vasco Dias: Colt, you better do your job! Get these two back in the ring!
{ Wraith sits against the barricade, clutching his side. }Terri Morasco: The action has spilled to the outside of the ring, and I just don’t know if I like what could happen outside!
{ Knox rushes forward for a running knee strike! Wraith raises his hands just in time to absolve most of the blow, but a lot of damage is still done, and Knox pulls Wraith back to a standing position before slamming his head down against the barricade! A second time! A third time! Colt Collins is still calling for them to get into the ring, and finally makes that dreaded ONE count– Knox pays no mind to it and positions Wraith perfectly before sailing him over with a belly to belly suplex that sends Wraith crashing against the barricade! }
Terri Morasco: It’s things like that that I’m worried about, Vasco! All of it… all of it is legal, but there’s so many things outside of the ring that they could get hurt doing there!
Vasco Dias: You’re right, and Matt Knox needs to have some respect for the rules! He has been targeting this family since he came back, and now he’s not just going for a win here, he’s trying to cripple him! He should be ashamed!
{ The count is only up to two… yes… Colt Collins will count that slowly to prevent a count out. Knox grabs Wraith by the hair and drags him back to his feet, turning him around before raising him up and dropping him across the barricade with a back body drop! Wraith arches his back after the impact, cringing and falls onto the side of the audience. THREE! Knox leans over the barricade to reach for Wraith, but is unable to reach him, so goes over the barricade and pulls him back up… he merely shoves Wraith back over to the right side of the barricade, and as Wraith lands on his stomach, he immediately goes to all fours and moves toward the ring. Knox goes back over the barricade to give chase, and with a handful of Wraith’s hair again, pulls him back to a standing position only to receive a backhand! }Terri Morasco: Wraith fights back with a solid backhand that seems to stun Knox for the moment!
{ Another backhand! A third! A fourth! A fifth! Knox loses his grip, and Wraith snaps forward with a front kick that causes Knox to keel over– Wraith fires for the GENOCIDE KICK! }Vasco Dias: Y’see what happens when you piss him off?!
{ MISS! }Terri Morasco: Knox dodges a bullet there!
{ Knox rushes forward with forearm strikes against Wraith’s back, and Wraith stumbles forward against the ring apron– Knox continues raining with several more strikes and then drags Wraith toward the steel post before angling it now, and uses a snap suplex that has Wraith hitting the post! }Terri Morasco: You could break his spine doing something like that!
Vasco Dias: This match should be getting thrown out!
{ Knox pulls Wraith back up and finally brings him back into the ring, and follows in right after…as Knox is getting into the ring, Wraith does roll away from him toward the center of the ring, and both of the fighters are back to their feet, Wraith a little worse for wear at this time– ever defiant, though, Wraith fires for a spinning back kick! Knox is able to step to the side to avoid the contact, and comes in fast for a knee before drawing Wraith in for a suplex! Wraith fights back to prevent Knox from being able to lift him, and Knox starts driving in several knee strikes until he can finally power Wraith up and brings him down with NEVERMORE! }Terri Morasco: NEVERMORE! The moonsault suplex connects, and Knox goes right in for the cover!

{ Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap! }Terri Morasco: Somehow! Some way! Wraith is able to will himself to kick out!
Vasco Dias: I don’t think Matt Knox even knows what he has to do to put him down!
{ Matt Knox remains seated after failing to secure the three count. He shakes his head while visibly contemplating to himself, and starts mumbling something under his breath until finally regaining his own composure… He rolls over, and grabs Wraith by the head dragging him back to his feet… Wraith is able to break free from his grasp just in time and GENOCIDE KICK! Rather than going down, Matt Knox stumbles backwards against the ropes and back forward, still wobbly on his feet, and Wraith now with THE HOWLING! } Terri Morasco: THE HOWLING! The finishing move of the original Wraith on full display here, and Wraith needs to just make the cover!

{ KICK OUT! }Terri Morasco: MATT KNOX KICKS OUT!
Vasco Dias: Aggghhh! That was the slowest count I’ve ever seen! This guy can’t count count outs, this guy can’t count pins! What did we hire him for?!
Terri Morasco: I’ll give you the count out… but the pin, he’s got that down to a perfect cadence, but just the two signature moves from Wraith was not enough to put Matt Knox away!
{ Both of the competitors are exhausted, but Wraith wearily drags himself to the corner before finally using the ropes to pull himself back to a standing position… he turns to watch Matt Knox who is starting to stir, as Colt Collins is asking him if he’d like to continue, and there is no doubt in Knox’s mind that he has no intention of throwing in the towel here. }Terri Morasco: These fans are still going crazy for these two, and it looks like Wraith could be looking to seal this match away in a big way right here… If Matt Knox gets hit by the Ode to Aphrodite, the huge knee that Wraith uses as an homage to Atara Raven, then he could be closer to sealing his spot as the winner of his bracket!
Vasco Dias: He took an early lead on this thing, and I do have to say that it’s going to be difficult for anyone to catch him. Matt Knox still has a chance! But he would need this win, and at least one more win, while Wraith would have to lose next week in his match. It’s a close race! If anyone can stop Wraith, it would be Matt Knox!
{ Matt Knox finally gets to his feet facing away from his opponent, and is hardly able to stand on his own two feet at the moment… but with a slight hobble, he finally does turn to Wraith, and Wraith comes out of the corner! ODE TO APHRODITE! }Terri Morasco: THERE IT IS!
{ NO! It looks like Matt Knox had received the impact, but he was able to deflect the shot, and has Wraith in a single leg lift, as he stumbles backward– Knox tries to regain his balance with the weight of himself as well as Wraith, but goes back a couple of steps before finally dropping back with a flapjack against the ropes! }Terri Morasco: It was so close! Wraith was not even an inch away from taking this win, but Matt Knox is able to hold on here!
{ Wraith is hanging over the ropes, almost lifeless, as Matt Knox takes a deep breath whilst getting back to his feet. He takes a moment to regain his bearings, and think of his next step… Wraith uses the ropes to slowly get back to his feet, and Matt Knox grabs a handful of his hair and wrenches his head back and immediately goes for a standing KATAHAJIME! The first sequence of THE MERCY, THE MURDER looks like Knox may get it locked in! }Vasco Dias: Damn it, damn it, damn it! No! No! Break free! The ropes are right there!
{ Matt Knox, wise to the ropes being quite close, starts dragging Wraith backward, but in doing so, Wraith is able to sail Matt Knox over with a snapmare forcing him to break the hold! Wraith heaves a bit as he tries to regain his oxygen, but regains his own composure rather quickly before coming down with a low dropkick to Knox’s spine! Knox cringes from the dropkick, and Wraith shoves him down and places all of his weight against Knox’s shoulders. }Terri Morasco: Wraith is looking for another cover. I think he’s getting fed up because Matt has wisely kept himself out of submission situations, which we know is where Wraith would excel and probably be able to take Matt Knox! Wraith is forcing Matt Knox to exert even more energy by laying across his shoulders like that because simply rolling your shoulder off of the mat is not an option there!
Vasco Dias: That’s why he’s a legacy! A prodigy! Wraith is that kid who has TWENTY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE at TWENTY YEARS OLD! Professional wrestling has been his entire life! It’s all he knows!

{ KICK OUT! Matt Knox sits up this time, and is looking to get away, but Wraith circles behind him and drives a knee against Matt Knox’s spine before reaching forward and getting him into a reverse chin lock! Matt Knox grits his teeth while trying to angle himself out far enough to slip forward and get a foot on the ropes– Knox successfully gets a foot on the ropes, and Wraith instantly lets go but then comes down with repeated knee strikes against Knox’s spine! Knox arches his back, and now Wraith gets him into a dragon sleeper, forcing him to also walk backwards away from the ropes! }Vasco Dias: It looks like he could be going for the grapevine to lock Matt into the center of the ring, and Matt Knox is going to have no choice but to tap out!
{ Knox is trying to fight his way out of the hold, and is able to wrench Wraith’s arm loose enough for him to be able to turn it around… Wraith now has him in a front headlock position, and Matt raises him up before dropping him down with a Manhattan Drop! The crowd pops as Matt Knox is getting some life back into him, and then Matt Knox sails Wraith over with an exploder suplex! }Terri Morasco: And just like that, Matt Knox is back in this one!
{ Wraith tumbles toward the ring apron whilst Matt Knox rolls for the ropes to pull himself back up…Wraith uses the corner to pull himself up, and Matt Knox charges in to connect with a corner clothesline! Matt Knox points toward the center of the ring and looks to take him out of the corner with a bulldog as an insult to Angel Blake… }Vasco Dias: He’s still sending a message to Angel with this one, and he’s gotta keep his focus on his opponent!
{ Wraith is able to shove him off! Matt Knox regains his balance around the center of the ring, and pivots on his feet as Wraith charges out– ODE TO APHRODITE! KNOX DODGES TO THE SIDE! }Terri Morasco: Matt Knox with another dodge! We’ve got ourselves a Neo here tonight, just fighting on another level!
{ Wraith spins out, and Knox pulls him onto his shoulders looking for INTO THE VOID! Wraith is able to drive multiple elbows against the side of Knox’s head, as Knox finds himself unable to get a lock on his arm– one, two, three, four, five, six elbows! After the sixth, Knox slouches over and has no choice but to drop down with Wraith back on the mat… Wraith delivers a couple of clubbing blows looking to keep the pressure up against Matt Knox, and Wraith drives a heavy knee to Knox! Wraith jumps up and gets Knox into a guillotine choke! The exhaustion is setting in, but Matt Knox digs deep and is able to keep them both up!
Knox sails Wraith over with a waterwheel drop! }Terri Morasco: These two have to be fighting on fumes right now, and we’re nearing the time! If they don’t end this match soon– neither one is going to win!

Terri Morasco: You’ll hear no disagreement from me! Matt Knox and Wraith just don’t know what they have to do to put the other one down, and I don’t even know how they’re able to stand at this point. This match has been incredibly physical! Incredibly draining!
{ The crowd is still going wild as these two are trying to pick themselves up off of the mat… Colt Collins alternates back and forth with both of the competitors, asking them if they can continue but neither man has any give. Matt Knox and Wraith are to their feet at the same time, both of them wobbly… }Terri Morasco: I wonder if both of them have seen the timer now on the corner of the Imperitron! We’re less than two minutes from a draw!
{ Colt slips out of the way just in the nick of time as Wraith fires for the GENOCIDE KICK! SOMEHOW! KNOX! DODGES! Wraith spins out, almost falling to a knee, but Knox pulls Wraith into the fireman’s carry position! Wraith is firing with as many elbows as he can but Knox is still holding on… Wraith continues firing with a few elbows, but Knox finally locks his arm in! Terri Morasco: Matt Knox with a huge win here tonight, and he’s closed the gap between himself and Wraith!
Vasco Dias: I don’t know how he pulled it off, but he did. Hats off to him!{ The crowd is going wild after the encounter, as Matt Knox is able to slowly pull himself back to his feet… Colt Collins checks first on Knox, asking if he’s okay, then checks on Wraith…but as he kneels down to check on Wraith, the lights go out and when they come back on, Wraith is gone. Matt Knox looks around for a brief moment but Colt Collins raises his arm to proudly display him to the audience as the winner of the heated contest. }------------------------------------

SINGLES MATCH
3000 Word Limit
Tara Fenix vs. Zasshu II------------------------------------
{ We come back from the break to an overview shot of the Rocket Mortgage Field House before settling on the commentary booth with Vasco and Terri. }Vasco Dias: Welcome back to Sacrifice! Next up we’ve got a match I’m very excited about! Tara Fenix is stepping into the ring with IWF newcomer, Zasshu II!
Terri Morasco: Zasshu is hot off her debut win and looking to keep that momentum going but she’s got a tough task ahead of her facing arguably the best women’s wrestler in the world.
Vasco Dias: Tough task? I’d say an almost insurmountable one. Zasshu looked good in her debut but Tara Fenix is a certified ring general, multi time World Champion and has more hall of fame rings than she has fingers!
{ The arena begins to strobe purple as the intro to Victorious by Nita Strauss starts to play. As the lyrics kick into gear, Zasshu comes walking out through the curtain to a burst of pyro with her hands up. She poses on the stage in a fighter’s stance before continuing to the ring. She rolls in under the bottom rope and runs across the ring to jump onto the second turnbuckle. She holds her hands up as the chorus wraps up before dropping off and waiting for the match to begin. }Terri Morasco: Zasshu is looking very focused tonight.
Vasco Dias: How can you tell?
Terri Morasco: It’s all in the eyes.
{Every light throughout the arena flickers out while the crowd gives a premature cheer; when the beginning of “The Eagle Flies Alone” begins to play, a blue spotlight comes in at the same sequence and is shining at the curtain which gets the crowd riled up further. The cheers that The Phoenix Queen is receiving from the audience is outweighing anyone in the crowd that opposes her. The sound of the fog machines can be heard going off heavily as the stage soon fills with fog. The lights in the arena are coming back up creating a blue hue and just as the chorus kicks in, the crowd lets out a huge roar when they finally see Tara Fenix emerge from behind the curtain.}I, I go my own way!
I swim against the stream!
(Forever) I will fight the powers that be!
{Tara is standing at the top of the stage wearing one of her designed jackets, and the hood pulled over her head. She is carrying a flagpole with a flag attached; she takes a moment to scan the crowd and see the number of her supporters and soon she raises the flag and waves it back and forth several times and the cameras do their own scan over the crowd and can see a number of people raising the same logo that is on the banner. The Age of the Phoenix. Tara continues to wave the banner for a few more seconds before holding it straight up and bringing the pole down to tap it against the stage and finally slings the pole over her shoulder while marching down to the ring. Some of the fans stretch their hands out for her, and she walks to one side with her arm held out slightly; however, her eyes remain locked on the ring. When she reaches the bottom of the ramp she goes to the nearby steel steps and quickly ascends. She stops for a moment and carefully attaches her own flagpole to the steel post where the Age of the Phoenix banner will be for the duration of the match.}I, I go my own way!
I swim against the stream!
(Forever) I will fight the pοwers that be!
The eagle flies alone!
{After securing the flagpole to the ring pole, she takes two steps on the apron before sliding forward and down onto one knee; her head and eyes scan the crowd again while the crowd is chanting her name. She finally crawls between the middle and bottom ropes then charges to the far corner and as she lands on the second rope, she pulls her hood back and lets her arms go out with her palms up. She holds the pose for several seconds, then does a one-eighty off of the second rope to land back on her feet; she runs to the opposite end where the flagpole is, and repeats the process but this time holds the banner out for all to see the symbol. She does another one-eighty, lands inside the ring, and takes off her jacket while waiting for the match to begin.}Vasco Dias: Tara Fenix has found herself embroiled in a heated rivalry recently so you know she’s coming into this match looking to make a point.
Terri Morasco: Absolutely. Zasshu is a newcomer and Tara is going to want to mark her territory so to speak.
Vasco Dias: By whooping that backside all over this ring!
{ We’ve got Tommy Knocker on reffing duties for this one and after a quick check over he calls for the bell! }Vasco Dias: Here we go!
{ Zasshu and Tara waste no time as they lock up in the center of the ring. The tie up doesn’t last long as Tara transitions right into a side headlock and flaunts her experience a little bit as Zasshu fights to get out of the hold. }Terri Morasco: I don’t think Tara should be trying to show off this early in the match?
Vasco Dias: She’s getting into the head of her opponent.
{ Tara finally lets Zasshu go and the two women back off from each other for a moment. Tara barks “Come on!” at Zasshu. They tie up again, this time there is a little bit of jockeying for position before Tara goes right back into the side headlock and then follows through with the takeover. From that position Tara puts Zasshu in a rear chin lock while pressing her knee into the back of Zasshu. }Terri Morasco: Tara really shouldn’t be toying with her opponent.
Vasco Dias: When you reach Tara’s level you can sleep walk your way through someone like Zasshu.
Terri Morasco: I couldn’t disagree more with you, Vasco.
{ Tara once again relents and allows Zasshu to get to her feet. There is some murmuring among the crowd cheering Tara on while a small Zasshu chant has broken out. The two women tie up again and this time Tara goes right into a drop behind for a rear waistlock, Tara hoists Zasshu up for belly to back suplex! }Vasco Dias: Looks like Tara is done playing with her food!
{ Tara goes right in for the attack now, hitting a knee drop to the back of Zasshu’s neck as she’s on all fours. Tara then takes control of the head and pulls Zasshu up to her feet. Tara sends Zasshu into the corner and chases in after her with a big splash! Tara backs up and charges in with a shining wizard. Tara takes control of the head again and in an ode to Angel hits Zasshu with a Heaven’s Fury bulldog out of the corner! Tara makes a cover! }1…

KICK OUT!
{ Tara smirks as she pushes herself up. }Vasco Dias: Tara is dismantling Zasshu right now!
Terri Morasco: Zasshu needs to create an opening otherwise this is going to be a very short match!
{ Tara pulls Zasshu up to her feet and throws her hard into the corner but Zasshu runs up the ropes, turns and comes off the top with a Hurricanrana on Tara Fenix! Tara rolls through the landing but looks a little shell shocked. Zasshu charges in with the opening she’s created and takes Tara down with a headscissors. Zasshu is right up to her feet and hits the ropes for a springboard moonsult! Zasshu hooks both legs looking for a shock victory! }1…
KICK OUT!
{ But it’s only a one count as Tara kicks out with authority! }Vasco Dias: Zasshu strung together some moves there but it’ll take more than that to put down this former world champion!
Terri Morasco: Absolutely, the shock and awe caught Tara off guard but it’s going to take more!
{ Zasshu brings Tara to her feet by the neck but Tara throws Zasshu’s arms off her and hits a step up enzugiri! Tara then scoops Zasshu up onto her shoulders and delivers a Burn to Ashes go to sleep! Tara covers Zasshu while also digging her elbow into her opponents neck! }1…
2…
KICK OUT!
{ Tara goes right back on the attack as she rips Zasshu up to her feet and begins hitting several stiff kicks to the legs and midsection of Zasshu! Tara is lighting up her opponent now with those kicks, Zasshu is doing her best to defend them off but most are landing with sickening thuds! Tara ends the assault with a roundhouse directly to the head of Zasshu! With her opponent staggered, Tara drills Zasshu into the mat with her Siren sliced bread 2! Tara once again makes a cover, this time she hooks the legs of Zasshu! }1…
2…
KICK OUT!
{ Tara looks up at Tommy Knocker and says “THREE!” but he confirms it was only a two count! }Vasco Dias: I’m as shocked as Tara is! I thought that Siren was going to be the nail in the coffin!
Terri Morasco: Zasshu is showing some amazing resilience in the face of her much more seasoned opponent!
{ Tara looks like she’s had about enough as she looks to put Zasshu into the Phoenix Triangle but Zasshu does her best to fight Tara off. Tara manages to land some elbow shots but Zasshu is able to break away. Both women get to their feet and Zasshu ducks another roundhouse attempt by Tara before catching Fenix with a Spiked Rana! Zasshu quickly makes a cover on Tara! }1…
2.
KICK OUT!
{ Tara was a little more delayed in the kickout this time but she got her shoulder up right at the two count. }Terri Morasco: Zasshu isn’t getting a lot of offense in but what she does hit is taking it’s toll!
Vasco Dias: Maybe so but Tara Fenix has fought longer matches against tougher opponents and come out the other side as the winner!
{ Zasshu is slow to her feet as the onslaught has taken a little bit out of her but Tara is only just faster. Tara comes in looking for a tie up but Zasshu grabs her with an overhead belly to belly suplex! Zasshu gets right up to her feet now as the crowd is slowly getting behind her! Zasshu goes to the ropes and climbs up, she waits for Tara who uses the ropes to stand and Zasshu comes running across the top rope for a kick to the face! Zasshu then pulls Tara to her feet, hits a kick to the gut and follows it up with Ode to the Ace! Zasshu makes another cover! }1…
2…
KICK OUT!
{ Tara gets her shoulder up! }Terri Morasco: Zasshu is pulling out all the stops and an Ode to the Ace nearly got it done!
Vasco Dias: Nearly isn’t enough in professional wrestling!
{ Zasshu brings Tara to her feet but Tara takes Zasshu down with an armdrag! Zasshu tries to get right up but Tara drills her with the Phoenix Perch! Tara is fired up now. She pulls Zasshu up to her feet and heaves her into the corner. Tara comes in after her with a monkey flip! Zasshu tries to stand but Tara is there with a chop block! }Vasco Dias: Zasshu had her moment but Tara is back in control!
Terri Morasco: That was a vicious chop block!
{ Zasshu once again tries to stand up but Tara isn’t having any of it as she connects with the Fallen Phoenix codebreaker! With her opponent on the mat and hurting, Tara goes into the Phoenix Lock #1, aka figure four leglock! }Terri Morasco: Oh, Zasshu is in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go!
Vasco Dias: Tara pulled out that chop block at just the right time!
Terri Morasco: Zasshu could have some serious damage done to her leg!
{ Tara wants to crank things up a notch and locks in a heel hook as well! Zasshu sits straight up and pounds her fists into the mat but she’s refusing to give up. Zasshu digs her nails into the canvas and starts clawing her way toward the ropes. Tara is wrenching harder and harder and Zasshu inches her way closer and closer to the ropes. After what must feel like forever, Zasshue gets a finger tip on the bottom rope. Tommy Knocker calls for the hold to be broken but Tara holds on for a full four more seconds. }Vasco Dias: Tara going for the full five count there.
Terri Morasco: Zasshu’s knee and ankle must be in poor condition after that Phoenix Lock.
Vasco Dias: By design, Terri, by design.
Terri Morasco: Obviously?
{ Zasshu rolls out onto the apron but Tara isn’t about to let her catch a breather. Tara climbs out onto the apron as well and pulls the limp body of Zasshu to her feet. Tara looks around and gives her opponent a quick round of applause before hitting Zasshu with the Phoenix Driver cradle shock on the apron!!! }Terri Morasco: Phoenix Driver on the apron!?
Vasco Dias: Night, night, Zasshu!
{ Zasshu’s limp body rolls off the apron onto the arena floor. Tara quickly hops off and pulls Zasshu up to her feet again. Zasshu is completely out as Tara rolls her back into the ring. Tara quickly climbs in and makes the cover on Zasshu! }1…

Terri Morasco: HER FOOT IS ON THE ROPES!!!!
{ Tommy Knocker sees the foot on the ropes and calls off the three count. Tara looks over to see the foot as well and aggressively shakes her head, mad at herself for not rolling Zasshu further into the ring. }Vasco Dias: I don’t believe it! Who the hell does this rookie think she is!?
Terri Morasco: She’s clearly not a rookie. I don’t know who’s under that mask but she’s got ring awareness!
{ Tara pulls Zasshu up for what she hopes is the last time. Tara backs up and lines up her shot. Tara comes in and fires off the Genocide Kick but Zasshu gets underneath it! Tara stumbles off the missed kick and turns right into Zasshu who scoops her opponent up with a last ditch blast of energy and plants Tara Fenix with an Orange Crush Bomb!!! Zasshu makes a cover and hooks the near leg! }1…

KICK OUT!!!
{ Zasshu drops her head, she’s feeling the match throughout her body. }Terri Morasco: A perfectly executed Orange Crush Bomb wasn’t enough to put away Tara Fenix!
Vasco Dias: Zasshu is only delaying the inevitable!
{ Zasshu seems to be completely gassed but the crowd is pushing her on. Zasshu stars to pump her fists as she gets to her feet, the crowd is about half behind her, a quarter silent and the rest in vocal support of Tara Fenix. Zasshu bends down to grab Tara but Fenix pulls her into a roll up! }1…

KICK OUT!
{ Tara is up on her knees, Zasshu nips to her feet, Zasshu goes to bounce off the ropes hoping to hit the Legendary Rana but her knee gives out for a second giving Tara just enough time to get fully to her feet and hit Zasshu with Phoenix Wings #2!!! Tara makes sure Zasshu is nowhere near the ropes this time as she covers! }1…

{ NO! Zasshu just gets her shoulder up in time! }Vasco Dias: She got her shoulder up!?
Terri Morasco: I honestly thought that was it for Zasshu. Tara has won a lot of matches with the Phoenix Wings #2!
Vasco Dias: I’m shocked.
{ Tara has had absolutely enough as she pulls Zasshu up to her feet. Zasshu appears to be all but dead as Tara underhooks the shoulders of her opponent looking to end this match once and for all with the Phoenix Wings. Tara looks out at the crowd, half still cheering Zasshu on. Tara shakes her head “No” and lifts Zasshu up and brings her head first down into the mat with the Phoenix Wings!!! Tara hooks both of her opponents legs and it’s- }1…

Alison Valance: Your winner by pinfall! TARA FENIX!!!
{ Tara pops up, a little worse for wear but the winner as Tommy Knocker raises her hand! }Terri Morasco: What an incredible match! Zasshu pushed Tara hard but in the end the legend picked up a hard fought victory!
Vasco Dias: Zasshu definitely showed out tonight and I’m sure earned some respect from the legend!
{ Tara pulls her arm away from Knocker to climb the ropes when Serenity Holmes comes charging out from the back! }Terri Morasco: Here comes Serenity for a pound of flesh!
Vasco Dias: Turn around Tara!
{ Tara is facing away from the ramp but the roar of the crowd has caught her attention. Tara turns from the turnbuckle to see Serenity sliding into the ring. Serenity goes to charge as Tara jumps back to the mat but Zasshu gets in between them and stops Serenity with a front waist lock hold! }Vasco Dias: What is Zasshu doing!!?
Terri Morasco: She’s trying to keep these two from tearing each other apart!
Vasco Dias: Let them fight!
{ Serenity is trying to break loose from Zasshu’s grip but the young fighter is holding on tight. Tara almost laughs before she comes roaring in with Genocide Kick right over Zasshu’s shoulder and directly into the chin of Serenity Holmes!!! }Vasco Dias: Genocide Kick! Genocide Kick! Right over Zasshu’s shoulder!!!
Terri Morasco: With pinpoint precision!
{ Serenity falls to the mat out of Zasshu’s arms as the masked wrestler turns to look at Tara. Tara says something the cameras don’t pick up as she steps past Zasshu and out of the ring. }Vasco Dias: What was that!?
Terri Morasco: I don’t know, a sign of respect?
Vasco Dias: Or is Zasshu somehow in on this?
Terri Morasco: I don’t know but what I do know is Tara just fired another shot in this war!
{ Tara walks backward up the stage as Serenity sits up glaring at Tara and then to Zasshu and back again as we head to a break. }------------------------------------

Vasco Dias: Someone's goin' home cryin' after this match, Terri! I wish...it'd be both of these chumps.
{ An instrumental with hook version of "Shell Shocked" by Juicy J, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign, begins to play, and a video package begins to play stock footage of waves crashing, followed by bolts of cloud-to-cloud lightning. }
"Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked

(This family can bear any weather)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ Once inside the ring, the Islander alum points heavenward, taking in the moments as he waits for his opponent. }
Vasco Dias: No Dokken?! Honestly, that's the best part of JJ's entrance!
Terri Morasco: I think he only saves that song for special occasions.
Vasco Dias: This is special enough! JJ's gonna get his ass whipped anyway!
Terri Morasco: Only in your fantasy world, buddy...
[DING!]
{ Blue Shoes called for the bell to begin this match. Much like the previous encounters between these two men, JJ and Nick put on quite a show that lasted for around 20 minutes! The first five minutes or so saw both men trade two-counts, neither one gaining an advantage as both of their styles seemed to cancael each other out. When we hit the 6:00 mark, Nick Danger would manage to gain a slight foothold on James Gilmore, executing a swift snap suplex that sent the Islander alum flipping head over heels and flat onto his back. Nick than tries to go for a modified triangle choke, but JJ managed to get his hand on the bottom strand rather quickly. Danger decides to not let the counter get to him by placing his trainer into position and connecting with a high-impact small package driver! Blue Shoes sees that JJ's shoulders are down and makes the count! }

Terri Morasco: Both of these men have come a long, long way in their IWF careers!
Vasco Dias: Give 'em credit where it's due, I'll say THIS much!
{ JJ and Nick eventually wound up fighting on the outside, with Blue Shoes reaching an eight count before they made it back inside the ring! As we hit the 11:30 mark, Gilmore finds himself in control of the contest! After taking Danger down with a trio of armdrags, he places him into perfect position and executes a powerful Samoan drop after shooting Nick into the ropes! JJ quickly runs up to the top buckle and goes flying, connecting with a high crossbody! The fans eat it up as the former two-time World Champion goes for the cover! }

2...!!
KICKOUT!!!
Vasco Dias: Can we change the channel?
Terri Morasco: Can we get YOU a muzzle?!
{ Things really got intense as we reach 15:30! Nick Danger was able to surprise James Gilmore when, from out of nowhere, he was able to plant him to the mat with his springboard Legacy Cutter from the top rope -- only to get a close two-count! Danger's eyes widen and he bellows out "I gotta HAVE this, man!" as the zebra holds up two fingers! JJ is able to use the outburst to his advantage, his old student and placing him in the Iron Claw! Danger flails his arms around, knowing that he's helpless to fight the legendary maneuver from Texas wrestling's past, before following it up with the backshoot lariat he dubs the Power Wave! JJ goes the cover -- and gets a close two-count as the fans pop for both men! }
Terri Morasco: Who wants this one more?!
Vasco Dias: I don't...
Terri Morasco: Oh, stop it! YOu're not even IN the match!

{ We hit the 20:00 minute mark, and both men look to be exhausted! JJ looks like he's been in a car accident, and Nick looks like he just called Jake Paul a sissy! The two men fought valiantly, trading big move after big move! On this day, Nick Danger would get the last word in, nailing JJ with his RISE AND FALL springboard forearm smash before going for the pin! }

Alison Valance: Here is your winner...NIIIIICK!!! DAAAAAANGEEEERRRRRR!!!!!

Terri Morasco: What a great way to close out Sacrifice!
Vasco Dias: I hate sportsmanship!
{ We close the show on Danger alone in the ring celebrating his victory. }
