Wrestler's Name: Bushido
Nickname(s): Floating Dragon under the Red Sun, The Last Samurai
Gimmick: Once a cruel Puroresu super-heel, Bushido was known throughout Japan and neighboring areas for his tendency for violence. His Samurai-influenced skills translated well into Hardcore Wrestling and he quickly found success in various promotions that didn't reject him for his lust for blood. Upon meeting an opponent unlike no other, Dragon de Valor, Bushido found a heterosexual life-mate that helped change his skewed view and turned him into one half of the best tag team to have ever existed, The Internationals. His Facebook status immediately went from heel to face as they traveled the world hoping to spread their message of true honor and true heroics. After years of wrestling side by side, a wedge formed when the loss of the second longest tag title reign came at the hands of a habit that just couldn't be kicked. Dragon's inability to control his vice not only lost them the gold but also injured Bushido's knee. Dragon apologized for his inebriated mistake but Bushido blamed him and found his fiery vengeance satiated when he horribly scarred his former partner's face in a match that would end their stint in NCW as well as their partnership. Bushido, now that his demons have been slayed, has reverted back to "the hero the world needs" and hopes to start a whole new chapter as The Last Samurai on IWF.
Height: 5'11
Weight: 220 lbs.
Hometown: Osaka, Japan
Alignment: Face (At least he thinks he is.)
Pic Base: Hakushi (Body and head covered in Kanji version.)
Appearance/Attire: Outside of the ring, Bushido can be seen wearing the latest and greatest of expensive suits, but only those manufactured in Japan. At times he has been known to dress casually in Japanese attire resembling ancient Samurai clothing.
Upon coming to the ring, Bushido dons a white Jingasa, a traditional Japanese hat which conceals half of his tattooed face. The rest of his body is covered in traditional Samurai armor passed down from generation to generation. Once at ringside, he will remove the armor and Jingasa to reveal a pair of white Ronin gi pants underneath with a red sash tied around his waist that drapes down the side of his legs. His top half remains shirtless so the world could witness the kanji that covers his body.
Theme Music: "Serious Japanese" by The Teriyaki Boyz
Entrance:{The drums and bass that belong to the intro of "Serious Japanese", by The Teriyaki Boyz blares throughout the arena. A red sun appears on the jumbotron as a giant Japanese flag unfurls from underneath the big screen and covers the entrance of the stage. The Japanese spoken lyrics begin and Miranda emerges from behind the flag, holding it up so Bushido could appear from under it. He steps out to the stage and two hands rise to his face in a martial arts pose, bending forward before making his way towards the ring. Miranda walks behind him, bobbing her head along with the music. No interaction with the audience occurs until at ringside where Bushido stamps a Kanji symbol for HONOR on a fan's forehead. Miranda helps him remove the Samurai armor at ringside where he also takes off his Jingasa respectfully before making his way up the steel steps and entering the ring through the middle rope. Bushido then bows to everyone in the ring before waiting in a corner.}
Special Entrance: COMING SOON
Primary Style: Technical/Martial Artist
Secondary Style: Powerhouse
Other Style: Puroresu Hardcore
Strengths: Years of intense Samurai training have given Bushido the skills necessary to think in the battlefield. He is able to formulate a plan of action on the fly and relies heavily on his legs to strike down his opponent. While standing at average height, Bushido's unseen power allows him to manhandle anyone unfortunate enough to fall victim to his grapples.
Weaknesses: While a veteran in the art of Japanese Strong Style, Bushido's submissions skills lack variety or creativity. Not only is he not really capable of applying intricate holds but Bushido also does all he can to not find himself trapped in such holds. Especially ones involving his legs. Bushido's anger can also get the better of him causing him to make foolish mistakes should he become frustrated.
Favorite Moves:
