"Roman?...Lucas?......"
Uncle Jethro walks through his home in rural Georgia. Sitting in the kitchen is his niece Cherry. She wears a fatigue camo bandana, a white singlet top and camo pants, she seems to be drinking from a silver flask with a confederate flag on it, Jethro shakes his head and looks around before looking at his niece with a look of aggravation.
"Cherry, you seen your brothers?..."
Cherry closes her flask and turns on the stool.
"Uh yeah I think they went out back...."
Jethro steps out into the huge backyard, looking over rolling hills and country side. Jethro scans around before hearing something in the large shed sitting near the tree line. He walks down to it and peaks in the large doors, inside we find Lucas and Roman circleing around a homemade ring.
"C'mon little brother....show me that you've been paying attention."
Roman smiles and ducks down taking his older brother down with a double leg, Lucas counters by dropping and kicking Roman up and to the side, Lucas scrambles to his feet and grabs Romans leg tripping him up, Lucas drops down and locks in a leg lock, Roman pushes up and spins around ontop of his brother and goes for an arm, Lucas rolls him over and they both get to their feet before noticing their Uncle watching.
"Boys...I got a phone call...."
Lucas walks over and leans on the top rope.
"Oh yeah?....about what?..."
Jethro laughs.
"About you two....."
Lucas turns and looks at his younger brother who seems to be smiling ear to ear.
"A company wants us to work?...."
Jethro nods.
"Well which company?.....IWF?, CPW?, PWF?, FGA?.........."
"Damn son you got it right the first time...."
Lucas laughs and turns to his brother.
"Looks like I'm carrying your ass to the big time Rome....."
Roman smirks and rubs his hands together.
"You won't be carrying me anywhere Big brother....but hey...it's good to know i'll be there to watch your back...."
Lucas smiles and gets Roman in a side headlock Roman struggles and takes his brother down as the two young men "roll" trying to get the better of each other, Jethro shakes his head as Cherry walks...well...stumbles up.
"If they weren't my brothers I'd swear those boys where queer-o-sexuals...."
"A real contract...."
Lucas slides a hand through his hair. Dark brown and cut in a half undercut style with a beard making him look older than his age of 23.....
"Alot of you have no idea who I am, and that's ok cause honestly this is the first time I've had the chance to speak to a large audience. My name is Lucas James. And my younger brother and I have been training for this since we were children. For the last three years I've worked for almost every indapendant wrestling company in North America and Japan and even a few in Europe....."
"My brother Roman will tell you all about himself I'm sure but see...I know that the guys we're facing in this match won't take us seriously. I mean on one side we have a team of world champion veterans. Spike Kane and Rob Diamond. You know, growing up I loved watching Spike Kane. Here's a guy who loves violence, who has overcome his upbringing to become a legend in this business. And truth is I feel honored to be able to face Spike....."
"And honestly, if I have to be truthful, I'm a little intimidated. This is the guy who was XHF champion, NCW champion, he's beaten Lance Ryan!. But then, there's the other half of the team. Rob Diamond......"
Lucas nods slowly and smiles.
"Another former world champion, another guy who has reached the top of this business. Not quite a veteran I guess more of a guy who is in his prime. I know all about the Diamond family. Maniac Chris Diamond...former world champion....complete nutjob. Rob Diamond, another former world champion.....complete douchebag who liked to dress up as an evil super villain. And Shelly Taylor Jones, a woman who has been a world champion and a woman who likes to brag......"
"Rob comes from a family of champions. And here in IWF I'm sure he'll continue his winning ways. But it's up to myself and Roman to stop this from happening."
"I get it though....we're the young kids, the new guys, so you wanted to warn us Rob, to intimidate us. As if the fact you're a former world champion doesn't already weigh heavily on the minds of myself and my brother...."
Lucas smirks and scoffs.
"So while I am a fan of you both, and I did hear everything you had to say Rob, the reality of the situation is that Roman and I, we're going to shock the world. We're going to beat you and Spike.....we're going to beat the other two new guys on the world wide wrestling block....Gjenrei and Cable......"
"But one thing that kind of got into my head was Cable's comments about us. That we're the unknown in this. We're the X factor. Spike and Rob are known world wide. Gjenrei and Cable are also known from their time in other company's. But myself and Rome?.....you have no idea what to expect from us. But I'll do you a small favour. I'll tell you. We're fast, high octane, high impact athletes who are tag team specialists. My little brother and I know each other so well we can almost read one another's minds. We have a bond better than any friendship...it's family....and we will honor our family..."
"The IWF tag team scene is all brand spanking new...and you may just be looking at one of the poster boys for this division....giddy up fellas....."
