SHOW OPEN
—---------------------------------------------
{ Heart of a Champion by Hollywood Undead plays as we are brought the opening intro to IWF Odyssey! The camera pans around the jam packed arena and the screaming fans before we get a shot of the commentary booth Rayne and Iyo Kenshin! }
Iyo Kenshin: Welcome everybody to another episode of Odyssey, we have an amazing show in store for your this evening!
Rayne: That’s right, Iyo. But first, it appears we need to address what happened on Sacrifice last week.
Iyo Kenshin: Chaos reigned, but can you really put it back in the box once it’s unleashed?
{ The cameras cut to the ring where Cliff Cook, Randon Hayes and Jess Fowler are all stood next to each other, waiting for the excitement of the show opening to gradually die down. The sound in the arena is electric as they patiently wait, a microphone held in each of their hands. }
Cliff Cook: Welcome everybody to Tuesday Night Odyssey!
{ The crowd pops. }
Randon Hayes: Normally I’d want us to continue the celebration, but… well, we have a problem we need to address.
Jess Fowler: Last week, our main event was completely ruined. Whilst we can respect the eagerness of our women’s division to fight, we simply cannot allow this to continue when we are officially on the road to the Iron Maiden.
Randon Hayes: That’s right, Jess. For the first time ever, the Iron Maiden will be held at High Stakes and it is our job… no, our duty, to find a group of women who are ready to compete for a spot in the main even of Night of the Immortals.
Cliff Cook: These decisions are never easy, we have many worthy potential entrants. But… the only way we will be able to determine who deserve to enter the Iron Maiden is if we get an opportunity to watch you all compete, we simply cannot have a repeat of last or -
{ Suddenly Dua Lipa's "Dance the Night" -- as featured on the soundtrack to the critically-acclaimed film Barbie -- begins to play. At first, the Arlington crowd doesn't recognize this particular track -- that is, unti Caroline Machado skips onto the stage! The partisan fanbase erupts as the former UT-Arlington student strolls down to the ring, clad in her official Texas Rangers 2023 World Series Championship T-shirt and hat! }
Rayne: What a homer...
Iyo Kenshin: What a moment for this young lady and former IWF Women's World Champion, who happens to live in the Arlington area!
{ Before Caroline steps into the ring to meet up with the IWF's top officials, she takes a moment to give a hug to the 2023 ALCS and World Series MVPs -- Adolis Garcia and Corey Seager, respectively -- who happen to be in attendance tonight! As the music fades out, she steps into the ring and adjusts her wireless microphone for better comfort, and then... }
Caroline Machado: Hi!!!
{ The crowd pops to what has become the Brazilian's trademarked greeting. }
Caroline Machado: I am very honored to be back here tonight with all of you -- the people who helped give me a purpose and a reason to keep competing even in the darkest moments of my own life -- the people of Arlington, Texas!
{ Caroline paused, winking to the cheering crowd. }
Caroline Machado: In life...we always worry about two things -- who we were and who we are now. Yet there are moments on this life that will change ALL of us and help us to become something far bigger than anything we will ever know.
{ She paused once more. }
Caroline Machado: While I was a former Women's World Champion, I know that the biggest test of my life is ahead of me -- the chance to earn a spot on this sport's biggest stage, to earn the title....of Iron Maiden!
{ Before Caroline could finish whatever thoughts she had in her mind as Cliff steps forward to try and talk to her... Fog begins to fill the entrance ramp and the lights fade to black. The drum and guitar opening begins to play and a crimson light begins to move through the fog serpent like and the temperature in the arena suddenly feels like it’s dropped ten degrees. Blood red strobes flash revealing that there is some kind of creature deep within the fog.
Slowly the creature moves forward in an otherworldly way, sometimes moving like a man and sometimes like a serpent. There is an explosion of pyro as the guttural vocals of O Fortuna by Botch begin and for the first time, the fans see the demon-masked face of “The Lady Pain” Itami with the massive frame of Gregor Winter standing behind her arms overhead as if The MODifier is calling the wrath of The Demoness down upon their unfortunate opponents. }
Iyo Kenshin: I was not expecting Gregor Winter to be accompanying Itami!
Rayne: He wants to do whatever he can to give his tag partner and client an advantage.
{ Slowly the pair make their way to the ring acting as if the crowd doesn’t even exist. It does not matter to her if they cheer or boo, all that matters is what is about to happen inside of the ring. Once they reach ringside Itami climbs the stairs steps between the top and middle rope, while Winter decides to stay on the floor. }
Iyo Kenshin: It looks like Winter has just come out for moral support.
Rayne: That’s a huge mistake. If things get physical inside of the ring the big Viking could be a difference maker.
{ Itami stands with her back to one of the corners balancing her weight on the balls of her feet. }
Itami: My entire life I have just let The Demoness lead me wherever she wanted to go. I did the things she wanted to do without caring who got hurt, but lately, I’m figuring out that I was the one truly getting hurt. The teachings of The MOD have taught me that I’m the one who needs to create opportunities through my actions, which is why I found myself running down to ringside to help bring the chaos back into control.
Six months ago I would have just sat in the back and watched them fight because it had nothing to do with me. The Demoness would have laughed as she watched the violence and chaos unfold, but I’m no longer that woman. The teaching of the MOD has taught me to be patient and take advantage of an opportunity when it comes to you, and last Tuesday night was the perfect opportunity.
I want to be the IWF Women’s World Champion, which means winning the Iron Maiden match. A match so violent that just being locked inside of that hellscape excites The Demoness as I’ve never felt before. The thought of using the steel cage to rip and tear the flesh of the pretty little Barbies that like to call themselves fighters makes her purr. I will feed her with the blood of my enemies and lay gold at her feet.
{ Itami walks towards Caroline. }
Itami: Last week was the perfect moment to step up because I want to be given the same opportunities as sweet little Caroline who can go away for months and comes back to demand a spot in the Iron Maiden match. There is a part of me that wants to ask Gregor to throw a chair into the ring so I can smash her pretty face, but I have grown to be a bigger person than that. Instead, I hope that I am locked inside of that cage with her so I can leave her a scarred up mess.
{ ‘Lady Pain’ turns her back on Caroline and walks back towards her corner. }
Itami: Then again I'm not worried about being locked inside of a cage with a woman I feel safe turning my back because I know that she doesn’t have it in her to take me out. Caroline if you or any other woman in this company…
{ Suddenly Itami is interrupted as the IWF officials do their best both remove Gregor and not lose their cool at yet another unexpected problem. }
“The Broken and Fallen, dangled souls been sent to burn,
Nowadays they been calling, telling me soon it’s gonna be my turn…”
{ The opening strings of “The Devil’s Gonna Come” by Raphael Lake & Royal Baggs begin to play as the curtain parts and out walk April Madrox and Mai Everstone side by side. The pair pause for a moment at the top of the ramp before making their way down towards the ring with purpose. }
“Now I know… the Devil’s gonna come when the sun goes down…”
{ Mai deftly hops up to the ring apron as April quickly scales the steps, joining her stable mate on the outside of the ring looking in at IWF Officials, Caroline, and Itami. With just a look between them, Mai and April step into the ring and are quickly cut off by Randon who stretches out a hand in an attempt to separate the pair from the women in the ring. }
April Madrox: You know, s’funny but I don’t remember getting an invitation to this little get-together. Did you get one, Mai?
{ Smirking, Mai shakes her head. }
April Madrox: Nah, didn't think so. Sorry princesses, but here we are anyway, crashing your little tea party.
{ Mai's smirk widens as she crosses her arms, her presence radiating confidence and intimidation. }
April Madrox: Now, Caroline, Itami, I hope you don't mind if we join you in the ring. We've got a few things we'd like to discuss.
{ Caroline and Itami exchange wary glances, but say nothing, allowing April and Mai to continue. }
April Madrox: You see, Mai and I, we couldn't help but notice that after our stablemates, Rowan, Virginia, and Astrid, ended up in the hospital after a vicious attack, and last week we tried getting some answers from Eternity and Abigail. D’you know what? We would have gotten our answers and called it a day, but the two of you, as well as some of your friends, decided to play the hero and get between us and the answers we were looking for. Call us paranoid, but we can't shake the feeling that you two might have a good reason for not wanting us to ask these questions.
{ Before either of the women can bristle at the accusation, April raises a hand to silence any protests. }
April Madrox: Now, I know you're probably thinking, "Why would we attack your stablemates?" Well, that's what we're trying to figure out. Because if there's one thing we know for sure, it's that there's something rotten in this company; and we’re going to get to the bottom of it.
{ Mai steps forward, her gaze piercing as she locks eyes with Caroline and Itami. }
April Madrox: You ask me, the pair of you have been eyeballing me and Mai ever since we got here this afternoon. Oh, don’t give me that face, Caroline. I’ve seen the way you refuse to look me in the eye … and don’t think I haven’t seen the way you whisper to Gregor, Itami. The both of you … guilty AF.
{ Randon and Cliff exchange nervous glances, ready to step between the women if need be, but Mai's smile remains cold and unforgiving. }
April Madrox: And let me tell you something, Jess …
{ April turns on the Chief Operating Officer of the IWF, her finger pointed directly at his chest. }
April Madrox: You may think we’re just going to let this all slide with enough time; that we’ll get bored and just move on, but we're not done with this, or you. Not by a long shot.
{ April steps forward toward Caroline and Itami, her voice low and dangerous. }
April Madrox: You see, I know that we’ve got that little Iron Maiden event coming up. And, see, Mai and I agree that maybe the best way to get down to the truth of what happened to our sisters is by going through each and every one of YOU!
{ The crowd murmurs in anticipation as April's words hang in the air, the tension palpable. }
April Madrox: So, Caroline, Itami, consider this a warning. We're coming for you. And when we find out the truth, you better believe there'll be hell to pay.
Mai Everstone: We consider this to be a very personal affair. So we are going to be entering this match, the Iron Maiden with nothing more then ruthless aggression and a demand for answers. A beaten person holds no secrets as they say.
{ Mai waves with her fingers, putting her head on April’s shoulder. As the IWF brass, Caroline, Itami, and representatives of The Murder are all congregated in the ring, a high pitched female scream causes a blackout for a few moments as the crowd cheer in anticipation. When the lights return, Abigail is standing in the middle of the ramp to the right of her partner, Eternity. Abigail has the microphone and the Texas crowd are behind more hometown representation appearing on an already hot start to the show. }
Iyo Kenshin: I don’t think The Murder were done stating their case…
Rayne: How many more of these interruptions are going to happen? Nothing will get resolved if everyone just interrupts all the time…
Iyo Kenshin: You’re welcome to try and stop Bella Morte if you want…
Rayne: Nah, you know what, let’s hear them out…
{ Abigail raises the microphone to her painted black lips. }
Abigail: April, Mai. Last week was supposed ta be the realisation of a dream. For the first time in years, I was being allowed ta step into the ring as my truest an’ most authentic self against a pair of well established Hall Of Famers. One of whom I wish I could still call a friend, but honestly I’m not so sure anymore. Then the two of ya showed up an’ showed us all how full of shit The Murder really are, somethin’ you’re only underlinin’ by bein’ out here again tonight. It’s never been more clear to me than it is right now that The Murder was never formed ta test the division as y’all claim. Rather it’s about protectin’ fragile egos an’ lookin’ out for their own. I have ta wonder how Brooklyn feels knowin’ her own sister doesn’t respect or have enough faith in her ability to handle her own business in the ring without all ya’ll interferin’…
{ The crowd erupt. }
Abigail: Tell me April, is the chip on Brooklyn’s shoulder about bein’ the second best Women’s World Champion in history really that big? For all her talk about wantin’ ta elevate fresh competition ‘round here, she sure finds the most convenient excuses ta weasel outta facin’ em when confronted directly. See, I recognise anxiety an’ self doubt when I see it an’ Brooklyn has a clear case of feelin’ inferior. The doubts of bein’ nothin’ without her World Championship or her boo Rowan speak for themselves.
Eternity an’ I are exactly what she’s been flappin’ her gums about wantin’ ta face for months now - fresh competition, an’ yet two minutes in the ring with us last week an’ rather than take us on fairly, here comes her goon squad ta ruin what shoulda been a damned dream match. Jennie put her through hell at Metamorphosis an’ as much as I wanna respect Brooklyn for apparently bein’ willin’ ta dust herself off an’ get right back in the fray so soon after, I now feel doin’ so would be givin’ her too much credit…
{ Abigail pauses. }
Abigail: Apparently that’s a real nasty habit of mine, April. Givin’ your family much more credit than they deserve I mean. I did it last week with Brooklyn, but before that I spent years down in devo under your direct supervision an’ givin’ ya way too much credit as one of my coaches at the PC. Well, now, things are about ta come full circle as the lessons we couldn’t teach the leaders last week, we are more than ready ta teach their flunkies…
{ The crowd erupt into cheers as Abigail cracks her neck and starts to march defiantly down to the ring, shadowed by Eternity. But the cheers are soon drowned out by heavy boos and some chants of “Let Them Fight” as IWF security intervene to block Abigail’s path. She is physically held back as she mouths something about teaching a lesson to The Murder… }
Jess Fowler: Now, ladies, please can we avoid…
{ Before she can even finish "Riot" starts to roll the Distinctive drums into the arena as the lights dim, before stepping out the back in her outfit comes Natasha on time with the Scream in the track the thin "webbing" on her outfit lit up by UV as she bops to the beat and slows up at the on going show Microphone in her hand. }
Nat: Woah, woah WOAH! So, ya'll having a party? Gettin' tense.
{ Nat points down the ramp at everyone. }
Nat: Pardon the interruption, but as the subject has come up a couple of times Notice posted, I think this Year's Maiden might be in need of a little Tschuigomo, ya'll catching my drift? That plain enough for ya?
{ She pauses to soak in a few cheers a bright smile on her list stepping a little further down the ramp and pointing at Caroline, Itami, April, Mai then Eternity and Abigail. }
Nat: Yeah that's right sweethearts, You forgot to check the rear views whilst looking at your prey, so I'm puttin' a notice up, you better bring your Grade A to this, I see who is stood here.
{ She gets a little closer to Eternity and Abigail and grins, then looks up to the ring as she takes a moment to nod and smile, before backing up just a bit as some of the security keeping Abigail and Eternity separate peel off to make sure Nat doesn't get too much closer and she hold a hand up as if to say 'I come in peace.' }
Nat: Oh my beef isn't wit' any of ya'll, don't you worry your sweet behinds, I'll get to each and every one of you One. By. One. But I notice there's a body missin. Somebody I -do- wanna to throw down with and I hope she's listening; you got your Louboutons strapped on, Holmes? Because I want your unprofessional ass.
{ She turns towards the entry way and makes a "bring it" motion as the Security starts to realize they might suddenly have a whole new problem on their hands. }
Nat: C'mon! You want in on this? You want me Hurt? Come get me, I'm right here! Lets go!
{ Nat throws down her Microphone and starts to gee herself up with pacing. “Synthetic Sympathy” by Trash Boat plays from the arena’s interior surround systems having the audience cheer for an enraged Serenity Holmes battling through security and other personnel. Unfortunately, she gets stopped by the stage section and her music fades with the audience booing. The barrier of security between Serenity Holmes and Natasha Walker keeps them both at bay but Serenity has a microphone in hand. }
Serenity Holmes: Natasha! You’re lucky security is holding me back because I am sick of hearing fake bitches like you pretend as if you know what’s going on in my life! Last week, you thought you could escape me by brawling with me but you should know what happens to people who pick a fight with me!
{ Serenity tries her best to get through the wall of security. The fans are encouraging her fired up attitude and she keeps her eyes on Natasha as she yells into the microphone. }
Serenity Holmes: The funny thing is everyone in that ring thinks they can have an opinion of me. You’re just like Natasha. You’re pretending as if you give a damn but the moment I turn my back, you’re all laughing and making jokes. Well guess what? The time for jokes is over!
{ The audience enjoys this speech but Serenity paces back and forth. }
Serenity Holmes: Natasha. You want to call me unprofessional? Fine! Let me show you unprofessional I can be bitch!
{ Serenity drops the microtone and darts through the wall of men in a sprint down to the ring. Unfortunately, she gets caught in a web of security guards who come together to hold her back from entering into the ring. As she does so Itami and Caroline both march over to the ropes… only for Mai and April to see an opening as they take down the two from behind! Suddenly a brawl is kicking off in the ring as security who were holding back Serenity are forced to turn their attentions elsewhere. As chaos begins to erupt and the order breaks down, Holmes and Serenity suddenly make a beeline for each other as the crowd goes wild, they’re loving what they’re watching as Fowler, Hayes and Cook try their best to get out of harms way, desperately barking orders at the security officials who have completely lost any control they had. Abigail steps forward, looking like she may join the fray… by Eternity rests a hand on her shoulder and shakes her head, smiling as she watch the brawls before them. }
Iyo Kenshin: Order has completely broken down here!
Rayne: So much for keeping things civilised…
{ Each woman begins to lay fists into whoever is nearest to them as the bodies of the competitors and security become blurred, furniture flies everywhere and the sound of breaking equipment mixes with the delight of the crowd. The three officials stand side by side, their heads in their hands as they share concerned looks as we cut to a brief commercial break to allow the now newly flowing streams of security to get the situation under control. }

SINGLES MATCH
1500 Word Limit
Logan Sky vs. TJ Alexander
—---------------------------------------------
{ As one of the most iconic riffs in Rock history starts to pump out from the speakers, Logan walks out onto the stage, soaking in the crowd's reactions. He moves to each side of the stage, throwing his arms up to try and rile the crowd up for the impending match.
He marches down the ramp, head bobbing from side to side before he climbs the stairs, wiping his feet on the apron before he steps through the ropes. Then he moves to each side of the ring, shouting at the crowd to pump them up. }
Iyo Kenshin: We've got ourselves a really good opening matchup here -- and JJ has decided to come on down to the booth and join us as we kick off Odyssey from deep in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex!
{ We see James Gilmore sitting between Iyo and Rayne, sporting an Armani tuxedo along with yet another Texas Rangers 2023 World Series Champions hat. }
James Gilmore: It's a thrill a minute to be callin' a match from right here in Arlington. As much as I miss bein' out in that ring, I get a much better perspective watchin' others do their thing.
Rayne: Glad you retired, big boy. I think the world could do with a little less of you...
Iyo Kenshin: Oh, will you stop?!
{ As "The Touch" By Stan Bush blares out of the PA speakers, TJ Alexander walks onto stages and raises his hands out to the side, he walks down the ramp with a cocky arrogance and chip on his shoulder, and TJ runs into the ring and climbs the nearest turnbuckle and looks into the crowd with a smile on his face. }
Iyo Kenshin: As TJ Alexander prepares to square off with Logan Sky, JJ, what's your take on the blockbuster Iron Maiden segment from earlier on?
James Gilmore: Truth is, in a match like this one or the Iron Maiden, there's no way to predict a winner. You've gotta be able to look at each individual on equal footing first before makin' a judgement.
Rayne: What a chicken-shit answer, man! I thought you'd be a homer and pick Caroline!
James Gilmore: Rayne, when I'm dealin' with a class full of eager, young prospects? I can't look at this person or that person and say "he or she's gonna be my pick!" It's like the Daytona 500 from last night -- you don't know when somethin's gonna happen 'til it does. And when it does -- like an injury or somethin' else -- it screws up what you're tryin' to do.
Iyo Kenshin: Well, that's fair.
[DING!]
{ Blue Shoes called for the bell to start the match, a hard-fought, well-paced contest that lasted a shade under thirteen minutes. Early on, both men showcased their technical and striking abilities, with neither getting a distinct advantage. Yet halfway through the match, Logan was able to seize control and keep TJ Alexander on his heels, landing his patented seven punch and elbow strike combination before going for the cover! }
1...!
2...!!
NOPE!!!
Iyo Kenshin: So far, Logan has been methodical yet hasn't really gained a clear advantage until now.
Rayne: But will it last...?!
James Gilmore: As I've stated the last match we worked that involved Logan Sky, when you're in the twilight of your career and want that chance to make a big impression? Ya take that shot -- and Logan knows that! So far, he's doin' a helluva good job!
{ As we hit the tenth minute, TJ has finally managed to gain control of Logan Sky. Eventually, he manages to turn his opponent sideways by hitting the fireman's carry and RKO combination he calls the Perfection 10! The Arlington crowd likes the quickness of the maneuver, but Alexander doesn't wast any time and goes for the pin! }
1...!
2...!!
KICKOUT!!!
Rayne: Who do you think wants this one more?!
James Gilmore: It's gonna come down to who makes the big mistake -- that Alek Thomas-style error that will come back to haunt either TJ or Logan!
{ Despite Logan Sky's best efforts to counter TJ's offense, it was a missed diving headbutt from the top strand that did him in! TJ capitalizes on the mistake and pounces on him right away, landing his patented Angel Wings finishing combination simply dubbed GAME OVER! }
Rayne: Jesus!
Iyo Kenshin: This could be your ballgame right here!
James Gilmore: I've felt that move quite a few times durin' my run here. Powerful, devastating combo!
{ TJ Alexander goes for the cover, hooking the legs in the process! }
1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
[DING-DING-DING!!!]
Alison Valance: Here is your winner, at 12:15...TJ!! ALEXANDEEEERRRRRR!!!!!
{ Stan Bush's "The Touch" begins playing as TJ takes in the moment and celebrates his win! Even Corey Seager and Adolis Garcia are stoked about the match, cheering alongside Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki and iconic martial arts film star Chuck Norris as we go to break! }

Nick Danger addresses his assault at the hands of Wraith in a sit down interview with Willy Carter.
—---------------------------------------------
{The camera shows Willy Carter in the interview room with Nick Danger who has a couple of stitches on his forehead from the attack by Wraith. Willy set up the mics for him and Nick. Willy takes a breath and speaks looking into the camera.}
Willy Carter: Welcome Back to Odyssey I am with my guest at this time “The Rising Ace” Nick Danger. It's a pleasure to have you here Danger.
{Nick smiles and speaks}
Nick Danger: Thank you for having me here Willy.
Willy Carter: It's my pleasure to have you here Nick. Now I want to talk to you about what happened last week when Wraith brutally assaulted you and left you bleeding inside the ring. What is going through your mind about that attack?
Nick Danger: Be honest I don't know how to feel about that attack. I could say that Wraith thought that I was just an annoying little pest that he had to destroy. But maybe he is mad that I called him a coward and called him out because he has not defended the title every other week.
Willy Carter: Why does that bother you Nick? I mean is your focus still on winning the roulette match at High Stakes?
{Nick nods his head and speaks}
Nick Danger: The reason why it bothers me is because Wraith thinks he is better than everyone else in IWF because of his age. I am still aiming to win the Roulette match but I feel like I got to handle this first.
Willy Carter: Nick why don’t you like Wraith as the IWF World Television Champion?
{Nick chuckle for a moment and speaks}
Nick Danger: It is not that I don’t respect Wraith as a champion. It's the stuff that he does that makes me not want to respect him. He is the youngest IWF World Heavyweight Champion in IWF history. Also the youngest IWF triple crown champion but he has been hanging around his father too much because he wants to collect more gold and think nobody deserves to step up to him. But when I step he had to attack me and leave in the ring a bloody mess and walked up the ramp and said he will fight me a ladder match for the IWF World Television Championship.
Willy Carter: Do you accept Wraith challege to fight him in a ladder match for the IWF World Television Championship at High Stakes?
Nick Danger: Yes I will fight him at High Stakes in that ladder match. But I hope he don’t need his daddy’s help climbing the ladder.
{ Willy Carter and Nick Danger are wrapping things up when a sudden look of shock comes across Willy Carter’s face! Nick Danger looks confused but is then struck in the back as Wraith rushes onto the scene and takes down the challenger with a heavy forearm sending him tumbling forward into Willy Carter who quickly retreats - Danger checks to ensure the interviewer is safe, but in doing so, Wraith breaks an end table across Danger’s back, and then picks up the leg and starts to hit him with it! }
Wraith: You still want this, right? You still want to fight me?!
{ Wraith clubs Danger several more times with the table leg causing the pain to jolt through Danger’s body… Wraith turns Nick Danger so he’s on his back, and grabs one of the chairs positioning it over Nick Danger’s neck before sitting on it – Nick puts his hands between the chair support and his neck, trying to alleviate some of the pressure, and Wraith takes the championship from his waist. }
Wraith: It’s all for this, isn’t it? YOU! ASKED! FOR THIS! BUT IT WILL NEVER! BE! YOURS!
{ Security starts rushing onto the scene, and Wraith stands up from the chair – he sneers at them, just as the lights go out momentarily… and then when they come back on, Wraith is gone, and Willy Carter is beckoning the medical staff over to check on Nick Danger. }

TORNADO TAG TEAM MATCH
4500 Word Limit (Either three separate roleplays of 1500, a 3000 and a 1500 or a combined 4500 word roleplay.)
East Wind & Shea O'Hara vs. Nancy Pailson-Carlson, Candy Kane & Mimi Simpson
—---------------------------------------------
{As the deep and nearly monotonous bass and lyrics reverberate through the arena, Charlotte and Rini bounce out in time to the rhythm, dressed in similar but matching ring gear, Rini looking like Sailor Moon and Charlotte as Sailor Mars. The energy each woman usually brings to their entrance seems to form a feedback loop between the two as they weave back and forth to greet the cheering crowd. The beat slows for the pre-chorus, and Rini and Charlotte link arms to walk in a sliding stride down the ramp to the ring. The pair assist each other onto the apron with Charlotte giving Rini a boost up and Rini pulling her up after, then separate to opposite corners of the apron on that side of the ring.
Charlotte makes her usual running start before jumping into her usual flip over the ropes, only using Rini’s hands as a booster instead of the second turnbuckle. Rini, instead of going between the ropes, uses them as a step-ladder and hops down from the top rope next to Charlotte.
As the music fades out, Rini strikes her usual pose, her left hand on her hip and her right hand forming a sideways ‘V’ next to her eyes. Charlotte, instead of her usual bow, stands with her left leg in front of her as she looks out at the audience, left hand on her hip and her right arm extended downward in front of her to form a parallel with her left leg.}
“Check? Okay.”
{The Imperialtron comes to life with a green ECG beep, then a white one and an orange one, then an Irish tricolour fourth beat which transitions a flatline, replaced by a stronger, bolder, more assertive identity in uncompromising gold against the black: SHEA O’HARA. The crowd erupt as a renewed ball of energy, Shea O’Hara explodes through the curtain. She surveys the electric crowd for a moment.
The crowd show no signs of dipping in their energy as they are greeted by the fiery redhead in shades and scarlet leather jacket. Taking centre stage, Shea plants her feet firmly, bouncing into a slight squat as she throws up the ‘devil horns’ on each hand. The gesture is coordinated with the start of the chorus of “Coming For Blood” by Eva Under Fire (featuring From Ashes To New) as a trio of small intermittent flame pyros are set off on either side of her.
Shea then sprints to the ring, sliding under the ropes, where she bounces up to her feet and runs to the ropes, playing to the camera as she places her left foot on the bottom rope, bouncing before throwing up the ‘devil horns’ on her right hand again, triggering yellow sparkling pyro explosions from each turnbuckle either side of her.
The crowd remains vocal in their support even as she removes her jacket and shades. The lights return to normal and the music fades.}
{Pump it plays as Mimi comes running down the ramp and into the ring.}
{As the Me Too - Meghan Trainor starts Candy struts down the ramp before climbing into the ropes posing for the crowd.}
{As soon as the music starts Nancy Pailson-Carlson marches down the ramp and gets into the ring, marching back and forth like a wild woman until the bell rings.}
{ Shea O'Hara, teaming up with the newest tag team known as East Wind, was very impressive in this fast-pased contest that lasted under twelve minutes. In the end, Shea got the win by pinning pinning Candy Kane and securing the match for her side at 11:30! }

Brooklyn Madrox and Vivienne Rodgers demand CCTV footage from IWF Officials in their ongoing investigation into the attack on the Murder.
—---------------------------------------------
{The dimly lit corridors of the IWF headquarters buzzed with activity as Brooklyn Madrox and Vivienne Rodgers made their way through the labyrinthine halls. Their footsteps echoed off the cold, polished floors, a rhythmic cadence that seemed to reverberate with purpose. Both women wore expressions of grim determination, their features set in hard lines of resolve as they marched toward their destination.
As they approached the office of the IWF archives, Brooklyn's jaw clenched with suppressed fury. The attack on the Murder, their fellow wrestler and friend, had ignited a firestorm of anger within her, a burning desire for justice that consumed her every waking moment. She could still see the image of the Murder lying motionless backstage, bloodied and broken, etched into her mind like a haunting specter.}
"You sure this is even the right place?" {Vivienne asked, her voice a low murmur of concern as they reached the door to the office.} "Demanding CCTV footage is a bold move. What if they refuse?"
{Brooklyn's gaze hardened, her eyes blazing with determination.} "I figure if anyone is going to have footage from those damn hallways it’ll be these nerds. And if they refuse … well, then we make them regret it," {she replied, her voice dripping with icy resolve.} "The Murder deserves justice, Vivi. And if the IWF officials won't give it to us willingly, then we'll take it by force."
{With a resolute nod, Brooklyn pushed open the door to the archivist’s office, her heart pounding with anticipation. The room was bustling with activity, IWF staff members darting back and forth in a flurry of paperwork and phone calls. At the center of the chaos sat a group of employees, their faces etched with weariness as they huddled around a conference table.
Brooklyn's eyes narrowed as she strode purposefully towards the table, Vivienne following close behind. The workers looked up in surprise as the two women approached, their expressions a mix of curiosity and apprehension.}
"We need to talk," {Brooklyn said, her voice cutting through the din of the room like a knife.} "About the attack on the Murder."
{The workers exchanged uneasy glances, clearly taken aback by Brooklyn's directness. One of them, a middle-aged man with a stern expression, cleared his throat nervously before speaking.}
"Yeah, we know about the, er, the incident," {he said, his voice tight with tension.} "And rest assured, we're doing everything we can to investigate."
{Brooklyn's nostrils flared with barely contained rage.} "Everything?"{she spat, her voice dripping with disdain.} "Then why haven't you released the CCTV footage from that night? Surely you must have something that could help us identify the attackers."
{The men exchanged uneasy glances, a palpable sense of discomfort hanging in the air. Brooklyn's words had struck a nerve, exposing the gaping holes in their investigation.}
"We...we're still reviewing the footage," {the man stammered, his voice faltering under Brooklyn's withering gaze.} "It's a complicated process, and we want to be thorough."
{Brooklyn's patience was wearing thin.} "Thorough?" {she scoffed, her voice laced with scorn.} "Or perhaps you're just trying to cover your asses. Maybe you're worried that the footage will implicate someone in particular!"
{There was a concerted squirming as the men shifted uncomfortably, their eyes darting nervously around the room. Brooklyn's words had hit uncomfortably close to home, exposing the cracks in their façade.}
"Look," {Vivienne interjected, her voice calm but firm.} "We understand that this is a delicate situation. But the Murder deserves justice, and withholding evidence is not going to help anyone. We demand to see the CCTV footage, now."
{The workers exchanged uneasy glances, clearly torn between their loyalty to the company and their duty to uphold the law. After a tense moment of silence, the man at the head of the table let out a resigned sigh and nodded reluctantly.}
"Listen," {he said, his voice heavy with defeat.} "If it were up to me, I’m scared enough to give you whatever you want. But We can’t just hand the footage over; that’s above our pay grade. You’re going to need to talk to…”
{Brooklyn's jaw clenched with frustration, but she nodded curtly in acknowledgment.} "Fowler … right," {she said, her voice steely with determination.} "But if we find out that you've been hiding something, you'll answer to us. Is that clear?"
{The men nodded silently, their faces pale with apprehension as Brooklyn and Vivienne turned to leave the room. As they stepped back out into the corridor, Brooklyn felt a surge of adrenaline coursing through her veins. They were one step closer to uncovering the truth behind the attack on the Murder, and nothing was going to stand in their way.
The empty hallway echoed with the click-clack of boots as Brooklyn Madrox and Vivienne Rodgers strode purposefully. Their expressions were steely, jaws set in determination as they made their way from the archive room toward the office of the IWF upper management.}
"We sure they're going to come through on this?" {Vivienne's voice was low, tinged with concern as she glanced sideways at her companion.
Brooklyn shot her a determined look, her eyes flashing with resolve.} "We need answers, and if those chumps aren’t afraid enough to hand us what we need, then we'll just have to take matters into our own hands."
{With a grin, Vivienne nodded at a new door, this one marked —IWF Chief Operating Officer—} “We’re here” {Vivienne remarked.
Without hesitation, Brooklyn pushed the door open and strode forward, her expression fierce as she addressed the figure behind the desk.} "Fowler, we need to talk. Now."
{Fowler looked up, surprise flickering across their features as they took in the determined expression on Brooklyn's face.} "Brooklyn, Vivienne," {they greeted, gesturing for the pair to take a seat.} "What can I do for you?"
{Brooklyn wasted no time getting to the point.} "We want access to the CCTV footage from the night of the attack on our stablemates. We need to see what happened, and who was responsible."
{Fowler's brow furrowed in concern.} "I understand your concern, but I'm afraid I can't just hand over sensitive footage like that without proper authorization."
{Vivienne stepped forward, her voice cold and unwavering.} "Then consider this your authorization, Fowler. We're not asking for your permission—we're demanding it."
{Fowler hesitated, clearly torn between duty to uphold protocol and desire to assist Brooklyn and Vivienne. Finally, they sighed, nodding in resignation.} "Very well. I'll have my team pull up the footage for you. But I must warn you—it may not be easy to watch."
{Brooklyn's jaw tightened, her determination unyielding.} "We can handle it."
{With that, Fowler motioned to one of his assistants, who quickly set to work retrieving the CCTV footage from the night of the attack. Moments later, the television screen reserved for conference calls with investors flickered to life, displaying the grainy images captured by the security cameras.
Brooklyn and Vivienne leaned in close, their eyes fixed on the screen as they watched the events of that fateful night unfold before them. The footage was grainy, the images distorted and unclear, but it was enough to send a chill down their spines.
There, on the screen, they saw their stablemates—Rowan, Virginia, and Astrid—walking down the corridor, their chatter echoing through the empty halls. And then, without warning, a figure emerged from the shadows, but the camera captured none of the assault.}
“What the hell is this?” {Brooklyn demanded, looking back at Fowler sitting behind their desk.} “Where’s the rest of the tape?”
“That,” {Jess said with a sigh,} “is all we were able to recover. There was some film degradation and we were lucky to salvage that.”
{Brooklyn's fists clenched at her sides, her knuckles white with rage as she watched the footage.} "Whoever did this," {she growled, her voice low and dangerous,} "is going to pay."
{Vivienne nodded in agreement, her eyes burning with determination.} "We won't rest until we find out who's responsible here, Jess. And when we do, they'll regret ever crossing us."
{Fowler turned to Brooklyn and Vivienne, their expression grave.} "I'm truly sorry for what happened to your stablemates. We'll do everything in our power to find out who did this. But we’re going to do it our way, ladies. No vigilante justice!"
{Brooklyn narrowed her eyes for a moment, her jaw set in determination.} "Thank you. But mark my words—we won't rest until justice is served."
{With that, Brooklyn and Vivienne turned on their heels, their minds already racing with plans and strategies to uncover the truth behind the attack on their stablemates. They would find the ones responsible, no matter the cost.}

TAG TEAM MATCH
3000 Word Limit (Either Combined or two 1500 Word)
Jennie Fenix & Allen Chaney vs. Savage By Nature
—---------------------------------------------
{ The Arlington crowd is buzzing over the action they’ve witnessed throughout the evening, and the lights suddenly go out…there is not one person in their seat as the opening of “Centuries” by Fall Out Boy starts playing, and the crowd sings along to the opening! }
Du-du-du-du-du-du-du
Du-du-du-du-du-du-du
{ Just as the opening verse would normally come, another introduction replaces the song… }
Ooh, baby, I like it raw
Ooh, baby, I like it raw
Ooh, baby, I like it raw
Ooh, baby, I like it raw
{ Allen Chaney and his fiancée, the IWF Women’s World Champion, emerge from behind the curtains – Jennie has her arms wrapped around Allen holding her title in front of him, as he carries her in a piggyback fashion. With a subtle nod from Jennie, she carefully climbs off of him, and Allen leans down, slamming his fists against the stage – simultaneously, Jennie leapfrogs over him, and falls to her knees in front of him facing the ring and crowd…just as he pops up, unleashing a mighty roar, Jennie raises her title over her head with both hands and roars along with him to get the crowd more hyped up. }
Iyo Kenshin: Allen Chaney and Jennie Fenix are the first ones to come out here tonight! This is a big night for them, Rayne, the first time that the couple are ever going to team together.
Rayne: You can’t intermingle business with pleasure, and the two should keep a distance with one another if they are going to hope to succeed! I think they’re going to let their emotions get the best of them, and Savage By Nature with an easy win.
Iyo Kenshin: It won’t be an easy fight for either one of them.
{ Jennie kips to her feet, and skips down the ramp a little bit with Allen Chaney just a few short steps behind her – she goes to the front row of the crowd and starts greeting as many of them as she can, taking selfies with a few of them in the process. Meanwhile, Allen Chaney starts heckling the fans that Jennie is chatting with saying things like, “She’s pretty hot, isn’t she? I’m going home with her.” Amongst many other things. Jennie takes the phone from one of the fans, and beckons Allen in – he obliges, and the couple aim for a selfie with the fan… UNTIL SUDDENLY STEPHEN TERRELLA'S MASSIVE LEFT FOREARM CONNECTS WITH THE BACK OF ALLEN CHANEY'S HEAD AT RUNNING SPEED! The Black Widow goes straight for Jennie, jabbing a steel pipe into the Women's Champion midsection before bringing it down across Jennie's back! Portia trails behind her team with a sour expression on her face, back at their side after taking a cage door to the face at Metamorphosis. }
Iyo Kenshin: Savage By Nature from behind, viciously assaulting Allen Chaney and our Women's World Champion before the match has even started! These cowardly, blindside attacks have become a calling card for Savage By Nature!
Rayne: Slow your roll, Iyo. Allen and Jennie offered to walk to the ring first, and they essentially dared Savage By Nature to do this. Terrella and Cvetkova aren't the type of people that are going to tolerate being mocked in a comedy bit by an amateur and a talent-less hack like Chaney, then just walk to the ring and start off with a collar-and-elbow, either.
{ Stephen grabs a black Raiders jersey he had stuff in his back pocket, wrapping the replica numbered thirty-two jersey of legendary Raiders' great Jack Tatum around the throat of Allen Chaney to cut off his air supply! As Allen gasps for air, the Black Widow laces Jennie's arm through the steel guardrail and strikes the Djinn on the back of her arm with the steel pipe, causing Jennie to grimace in pain! Cvetkova drops the pipe as Jennie pulls her arm out from between the steel rails... and Brandy grabs Fenix by the hair and tosses her over the rail, into the crowd that Jennie had just been taking selfies with moments before! Stephen relinquishes the choke on Chaney, and Allen collapses. A few kicks and stomps from Terrella to Allen precedes the Nevada native from kneeling down next to Allen and stuffing the jersey into his mouth! }
Rayne: For a man that bleeds Kansas City red, that has to be tough to swallow!
Iyo Kenshin: Savage By Nature is being showered by boos from this crowd here in Arlington, but one would have to believe as far as Cvetkova and Terrella are concerned, it was mission accomplished in regards to gaining an early edge on their adversaries.
{ Terrella walks over to the railing, where a few of the fans are really letting him hear it. Stephen reaches over the rail, snatching a cellphone from a man's hand as the man's young daughter looks on. Terrella proceeds to break the phone with his bare hands containing the picture of the family posing with Jennie on it, bringing the young girl to tears. Chants of "asshole" ring out in Arlington. Terrella spits into the crowd, fanning the flames. Chaney gets up and runs at Terrella full-force, exploding into Terrella with a big right hand! The meeting of the two three hundred pounders is like two-freight trains colliding, and the force of the blow puts Terrella back on his heels. Cvetkova is fast to make the save for Stephen, raking her fingers down Chaney's back to put a bow in it! Despite being a third of his size, the Widow slugs Chaney in the jaw with everything she has behind it. Allen doesn't leave his feet, and answers with a big knee to Brandy's midsection. Chaney raises his arm, lowering a big elbow shot down atop Brandy's head! Terrella is back on Chaney, and before long Savage By Nature is trying to swarm the Comedian when Jennie Fenix comes flying into the frame with a springboard dropkick off the security railing to wipe out the Black Widow! Jennie gets up, still trying to shake out her arm, and lets out a loud roar for the crowd as Allen and Stephen trade shots with each other on the way to the ring! The enigmatic Widow rises to her feet, and Jennie takes the fight to her. The two teams battle around ringside, throwing hands, kicking each other, and making use of the surrounding environment to do damage to each other until Jennie rolls the Black Widow into the ring! Fenix slides in after her, and referee Jessica Andrews calls for the opening bell! }
Ding!
{ The men separate on the outside as Fenix strikes Cvetkova across the chest with a series of blistering knife-edge chops, drawing a favorable reaction from the crowd! The Djinn's offensive drives the Mistress of Mayhem's back against the ropes. Jennie shoots Brandy off... and Fenix lands a rolling clothesline across Brandy's throat! Jennie grabs at her arm immediately after connecting, still feeling the effects of the pipe shot earlier. It proves difficult to keep the very pain tolerant Widow down for long, however. Jennie looks the Saka Otoshi on Brandy, locking it in and then transitioning into a bulldog choke! The official promptly checks in with Brandy to see if she wants to quit, but despite the pain, the Black Widow almost seems to be deriving a bit of pleasure from her own suffering. Fenix struggles to apply adequate pressure on the move because of her arm as Brandy digs at Jennie's hands and forearms for an escape! Stephen enters the ring illegally, kicking Jennie right in the skull with his tactical style boot to break the hold. The referee admonishes Terrella, and then quickly has to turn to try to restrain Allen Chaney, who was on his way across the ring. Terrella gives Chaney a middle finger, and Chaney throws two middle fingers up to Terrella as tensions seem to be mounting between the two big bulls. In an effort to further push the Comedian's buttons, Terrella snatches Jennie up behind the official's back and shoots her into the Savage By Nature corner! Stephen charges, engulfing Jennie with the "Silver Crush". Allen protests to the referee, telling her to turn around! Finally, Chaney throws up his hands, knowing the best thing he can do for his fiancee is to return to his corner. The damage is done though. The Widow, still fighting to draw breath, collects herself enough to barrel into Jennie with a cannonball splash in the corner. Cvetkova tags Terrella, bringing the heavy-handed brawler into the ring for the first time legally. }
{ Stephen stands over Jennie, looking Allen straight in the eyes before he starts to unload on Fenix with some stiff crossface punches to Jennie's face, punishing the Women's Champion, drawing a smile from Portia on the outside of the ring. Terrella fish hooks Jennie's nose and mouth to drag her up. Fenix fights back, showing no fear of her larger adversary by going right at his chin with a headbutt, causing Terrella to grab his mouth as he takes a step back. Jennie attempts a spinning headscissors on Stephen, but the massive man is able to keep his feet. Terrella muscles Jennie's body up higher on his torso, then drives her into the canvas with a thunderous powerslam! Stephen buries a forearm into Jennie's face for spite as he tries for a cover, but the Djinn kicks out at two! Terrella grabs Jennie's foot, using it to drag Fenix to the Savage By Nature corner. Terrella makes the tag to Cvetkova. Stephen remains in, giving Brandy the opportunity to grab Jennie's other ankle, and Savage By Nature quickly wishbones the Lego Lord! Cvetkova perches herself on the middle turnbuckles as Jennie tries to will herself up! The Black Widow leaps off, smashing Jennie's face into the mat with a diving kneedrop bulldog! Portia applauds on the outside for Brandy. The Widow forgoes making a cover, choosing instead to mount Jennie's back and just throw forearms into the back of Fenix's neck. Brandy gets up and steps on Jennie's wrist to prevent her from trying to tag a very outstretched Allen Chaney, who is chomping at the bit to get into the match. Brandy makes a tag to Stephen, and Terrella comes in by dropping all three hundred pounds he's carrying down across Jennie's frame with a standing body splash! Stephen stays draped over Jennie like a heavy blanket, and the referee slides into position for a count... but Fenix kicks out after two AGAIN!!! This kickout seems to infuriate Terrella just a little more, and Portia screams at the referee from the outside that she isn't counting fast enough. Terrella lays across Jennie again, aggressively trying to push her into the canvas for another pin, but she kicks out a THIRD TIME!!! Terrella's expression becomes angrier as the vein in his head begins to bulge. Losing his temper, Terrella rips Fenix up off the canvas, into a bearhug! He violently shakes her back and forth, trying to force her to submit! The crowd rallies around Jennie, and she refuses! Terrella continues to shake his smaller adversaries' body until he starts to tire himself out! Jennie does her best to weather the storm, and as the shaking slows, she bell claps Terrella's ears! The blow throws off Terrella's equilibrium, so Jennie does it again, forcing Terrella to lose his grip! Jennie drops down, crawling between Terrella's legs, and dives for a tag to Allen Chaney! }
{ The Comedian comes in hot! He dives onto Terrella with a Lou Thesz press, flattening the King of Clubs! Chaney unloads on Stephen with strikes, landing more than Stephen is able to block! Chaney comes up off the press, ready to do more damage. He lets Stephen expend some of his own energy to pick himself up off the canvas, and the agile Chaney comes in throwing bombs Terrella's way that drives Stephen back into a neutral corner. The Comedian tries to whip Terrella across the ring, but the powerful Terrella slams on the breaks. Allen puts a boot into Terrella's gut to soften him up, and goes for a second whip that sends Terrellla crashing into the opposite neutral corner! Allen builds a head of steam, sandwiching Terrella in the corner with a big clothesline! Chaney shoves Terrella down by the back of the head as Stephen stumbles out of the corner, and the agile Comedian executes a standing somersault legdrop on Terrella! Chaney makes a cover, but the Black Widow dives onto the pile to stop the count at two! Brandy wrestles with Allen on the canvas, trying to bury her thumbs deep into Allen's eye-sockets... but Allen has her arms by the wrists, staving her off. Jennie has seen about enough, and yanks the Widow off of Allen with the "Glasgow Smile" before taking her over with a Northern Lights Suplex! The Black Widow rolls to the outside, and Jennie goes out after the woman that once ran her down with an automobile. Allen and Terrella are both getting up at about the same pace inside of the ring, but the Comedian fires faster with a superkick to Terrella's jaw! Portia has her hands over her mouth, watching in dismay. Jennie sends Brandy crashing into a guardrail with a hard Irish Whip on the outside. Jennie hops back up on the apron, taking a tag from Allen. Chaney fires off on Terrella with a series of "Smooth Elbows" as Jennie ascends the turnbuckles! }
Iyo Kenshin: THOSE ARE A SERIES OF ELBOW STRIKES BASED ON THE GRAMMY-AWARD WINNING 1999 HIT SMOOTH BY SANTANA, FEATURING ROB THOMAS OF MATCHBOX TWENTY, OFF THE MULTI-PLATINUM ALBUM SUPERNATURAL!
Rayne: I am embarrassed to be sitting next to you right now, Iyo.
{ After Chaney's last elbow lands, he steps out of the way so Jennie can land a missle dropkick on Terrella to topple him! Jennie crawls over, making a cover on Terrella... but Portia breathes a sigh of relief as he kicks out at two by pressing Jennie off of him! Fenix pulls herself to a knee, wearing a look of sheer determination.The Womens Champion spikes Terrella's head into the canvas with a single arm DDT as Cvetkova climbs back up into the Savage By Nature corner. Sweat pours off Terrella's head and body deep into the match as he reaches up for nothing but air. Fenix continues to make use of her body as a weapon, climbing the buckles in a neutral corner. She leaps off with a "Coup de JINX" straight into Terrella's bread basket, forcing valuable oxygen from his lungs. Fenix goes for another cover, but Terrella barely kicks out before the three count to the crowd in Arlington's chagrin. Jennie stands in wait, seemingly hunting for a big move as she makes Stephen try to stand on his own. Portia slips off her shoe and blatantly tosses it into the ring in front of the official. Jessica spots this a mile away, and she grabs the shoe and tosses it into the crowd for a pop! Portia seems irate, and she yells up at Jessica! The distraction brings the Widow into the ring, who levels Jennie with a pump kick! The official turns around and orders the Widow out of the ring, trying her best to maintain some semblance of order. Terrella crawls toward Portia, who slips him her other shoe in. Stephen keeps the shoe hidden tightly against his stomach as the crowd tries to point it out to the official. Allen saw it though, and tries to come in to stop whatever is about to go down... but the referee intercepts him, too. Terrella pulls himself up with the aid of the ropes, and goes to use the shoe... WHEN A HAND GRABS THE SHOE FROM BEHIND AND RIPS IT FROM HIS GRASP! }
Iyo Kenshin: That's Charlie Van Ruth!!! Van Ruth strikes Terrella in the temple with the heel of Portia's shoe!
Rayne: Did he come out of the crowd?! He's not supposed to be here!
{ Charlie hops down off the apron as Terrella staggers backwards. Brandy Cvetkova chases Charlie around the ring... and as Charlie leads Brandy up the ramp, Jennie leaps onto Terrella and executes a hurricanrana twisted into a victory roll! The Djinn holds on for a cover, and the referee turns around to slide into position and count Terrella's shoulders down for the three as Brandy tries in vain to race back down the ramp for the save! The referee calls for the bell! }
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
{ Jennie rolls backwards off of Terrella. “Centuries” by Fall Out Boy starts playing as Allen comes in to celebrate with his fiancee to a huge pop from the crowd! Van Ruth tosses Portia's other shoe deep into the crowd from atop the stage! The Black Widow turns around near the ring, looking back at Charlie. The two maintain their stares, while Terrella starts to come to in the ring with Portia kneeling at his side. Charlie flips off Savage By Nature to a massive pop before turning to walk behind the curtain. }
Iyo Kenshin: Charlie Ruth came here with an axe to grind after what happened to the Kings of Flight last week, and he took a measure of revenge by giving Jennie and Allen a little assist!
Rayne: I can tell you right now, there are a lot of people I wouldn't want to be... and right this second, Charlie Van Ruth tops that list. He has no idea what he just did, Iyo.
Iyo Kenshin: I am confident he understands exactly what he just did, Rayne. Exactly. The same way I am confident there will be a party in the future Docherty-Chaney household tonight!

SEGMENT
2000 Word Limit
Participants: Dean Harper and Caleb Cannin
Dean Harper reflects on his victory at Metamorphosis... but has he forgotten a Joker in the Pack is potentially in his future?
—---------------------------------------------
{As the show returns from its commercial break Dean Harper is standing in the center of the ring in a Hazbin Hotel t-shirt and a pair of jeans with the World title wrapped around his waist.}
Dean Harper: So management wanted me to come out here and say a few words about how things shook down at Meta. I beat Warren. Again.
{The crowd has a mixed reaction.}
Dean Harper: Love it or Hate it I defended my title once again. Now I know the Roulette is coming down the pipes but I haven’t heard a whole lot of people talking about it. I think it might be a good time to remind people that winning the roulette means you get to main event Night of the Immortals fighting for this beautiful piece of gold right here.
{Dean pats the belt.}
Dean Harper: And unlike some other champions I could mention I don’t want this to be a cake walk. I really hope you boys really put your all in that match so I can have yet another defence to my -
“The Future is… NOW.”
{ The opening riff of “Epic” begins to play as the crowd are in shock. Out walks Caleb Cannin with Kilgore trailing behind. His pair of sunglasses get pulled down slightly as he makes eye contact with the World champion. “The Future” strides down the aisle and wipes his sneakers off before entering the ring. The two men stand face-to-face with each other. Cannin is clad in black jeans and a purple polo shirt. Kilgore stands in the corner, simmering. }
Caleb Cannin: “Well, well, well… it’s been a while. Before I get to you, Dean-o, let me just cast everyone’s minds back to December. Holiday Havoc. I was in a hotly contested TV title match with Wraith… and I actually broke my ribs in the process! Now, because I’m not an idiot who works through the injury, I took the time off. I sat there at home, watching every single moment that transpired while I was gone and I especially watched you. You, the guy who has so desperately clung onto that World championship in the face of so much adversity. You beat Angel Blake, you lost the title to Pax, you won the title back and now, you’re coming off one of the most personal match-ups that’s ever been on an IWF pay-per-view. For all intents and purposes, you’re the man!”
{ The audience has a mixed reaction to the praise of Dean and his reign. }
Caleb Cannin: “You’re the man… until I showed up. You’re already looking forward to the Roulette, but maybe I should remind you of who has the golden ticket…”
{ He points over at Kilgore, who holds up the Joker in the Pack briefcase. }
Caleb Cannin: “So what I want you to do is quit yapping about the Roulette and worry about what’s right in front of you. If you don’t want this to be such a cake walk… buddy, you’re looking right at the path of broken glass. I’ve had enough time to watch you and know what you’re all about. Don’t get it twisted, I know just how dangerous you are. The problem is… do you know how dangerous I am?”
Dean Harper: I don’t know. Why don’t you show me?
{ Cannin smirks and snaps his fingers. Almost instantly, Kilgore walks up behind him, looming over both Cannin and Harper. }
Caleb Cannin: “Listen, Dean, I’m not here to fight you. I know for a fact that you are not at 100%, so I’m not going to cash in right here, right now. I want you to be at your best when I take that championship away from you, so that everyone will know that this is no passing of the torch. I’m just going to take it!”
{Dean smirks.}
Dean Harper: Kinky. Well just name the time and place, kitten, and I’ll be sure to be on my best behavior for it.
{ Cannin tilts his head before having a slight chuckle. He snaps back to attention and stares Dean in the eye. }
Caleb Cannin: “It could be any time at any place. Maybe we could go in the main event of Sacrifice or Odyssey. Perhaps, we should battle it out at High Stakes! Or… maybe the Roulette winner won’t be the only one joining you at Night of the Immortals. Whatever I choose, I want you to hold that title close. Think of all those times you won it, defended it and valued it more than anything. And then, when you’re done thinking over the past… I want you to realize where that title’s future really lies.”
Dean Harper: we will see about that.
Caleb Cannin “Oh, we won’t just see. We’ll know about what happens when you put one of the hottest prospects in professional wrestling against…”
{ He looks Dean up and down before smirking. }
Caleb Cannin: “I don’t know, a broken-down divorcee of a world champion?”
{Dean takes a step forward.}
Dean Harper: if you’re that confident why wait?
Caleb Cannin: “Like I said, I’m not here to fight you. I’m here to tell you that, when the time comes, I’m going to take everything that you have left. Then, I will finally lead this company, these fans and all of the people in the locker room into a new era. The era of The Future!”
{ He points at the championship on Dean’s waist. }
Caleb Cannin: “So, why wait? Because it’s not time. It’s not time for this place to evolve. I will wait until the perfect moment. I will wait because you will have to wait. But maybe, Dean, you won’t have to wait much longer.”

MAIN EVENT
IWF INVICTUS CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES MATCH
2000 Word Limit
Nick Knight (c) vs. Mystery Opponent
—---------------------------------------------
Iyo Kenshin: Now it is time for our main event, which surely will prove to be an exciting one!
Rayne: Nick Knight demanded an opportunity to defend his Invictus title more often… and it seems that the head office has listened.
Iyo Kenshin: The question is… who do they have in store?
{ Every light in the arena is extinguished in the blink of an eye and the sound of a clock ticking begins to play at an almost deafening level. Every few seconds another clock joins the chorus until an alarm bell rings to quickly be replaced by the eruption of pyro that sends ghost white flames high into the sky. Then as the flames are quenched the opening keyboard of Blood for Miles by Deathstars begins to play.The arena stays dark except for a ring of fire with a figure standing in the center. The man is dressed in an ankle length black trench coat, wide brimmed black hat, a black leather plague doctor mask trimmed in brass covers his face, and he is carrying a cane. Stepping through the flames the man makes his way towards ringside, a spotlight tracking him on his way down the aisle. Halfway to the ring he stops and pulls an ornate watch from the pocket of his coat to check the time. The moment that he returns the watch to his pocket the words “Ticktock The End is Now,” appears on every single LED board. }
Alison Valance: Now making his way to the ring from Hollywood, California he is the reigning IWF Invictus Champion Nick Knight!!!
{ Knight slowly walks to ringside, stopping just short of the ring to methodically strip off his hat and coat leaving him in black trousers with a thin gray stripe, his mask, and the IWF Invictus Championship belt around his waist. Slowly the arena lights come back up as “The Hollywood Butcher” unstraps the mask and hands it to the ringside attendant before climbing into the ring. Nick unstraps the belt from around his waist and folds the straps underneath before lovingly handing it to the official. The official holds it high into the air for the crowd to see before giving it to the ringside attendant and calling for the bell. }
Rayne: You’ve got to admire Knight, he is determined to put his title on the line and prove himself as a fighting champion.
Iyo Kenshin: He’s certainly not shy about sharing his opinion on his lack of opportunities to do just that but tonight, he has his chance after an impressive defence against Charlotte Shimizu.
Rayne: But who is it going to be?
{ Nick begins to pace around the ring, clearly fired up as he grabs the ropes and does some intense warm ups whilst stamping his boot on the mat. The crowd begins to grow restless as the awkward silence extends further and furth. Nick is clearly a little frustrated when suddenly the speakers kick into life and Mr. Happy by the ICP blares out of them. The crowd cheer as Mr. Happy’s tron lights up and they anticipate his arrival. Nick stands with his hands on his hips shaking his head, asking the official if this is a joke or not. }
Rayne: This… wasn’t quite what I was expecting…
Iyo Kenshin: Nick doesn’t look… erm… happy about this one.
{ Time passes but eventually Mr. Happy emerges onto the stage and the crowd give him a good reception but something just doesn’t seem quite right. He looks nervous and not like his usual happy go lucky self, constantly looking over his shoulder before suddenly making a dart for the curtains. A few moments pass as everybody in the arena is clearly confused before Mr. Happy re-emerges in a stumbled sprint, almost falling over as he’s clearly terrified by something. He picks himself up and composes himself and begins to shake a bottle of root beer whilst sporting a very forced nervous smile before making his way to the ring. He makes it to ringside and gulps as he look up at Knight who cocks his head and stares right through the challenger who can’t meet his gaze, instead looking nervously at the floor. }
Rayne: Something doesn’t feel right, Mr. Happy just doesn’t seem like he wants to be here.
Iyo Kenshin: He needs to get his head in the game, this is a tremendous opportunity!
{ Mr. Happy climbs into the ring reluctantly as the official rings the bell. Nick continues to stare at his opponent who appears to be begging him for… help? Knight is completely confused as Mr. Happy continues to plead with him, but it’s quite clear that whatever he wants… he isn’t going to get it. He turns to try and escape but Nick launches forward and grabs him, dropping with a powerful Welcome to Hollywood. Nick isn’t going to waste his time playing games with his belt on the line, lifting Mr. Happy up off the mat and locks in the La La Land, throwing his hapless opponent about like a rag doll. Mr. Happy has little interest in resisting and he begins to tap out as the referee calls for the bell. Nick retains his a bizarre encounter. }
Alison Valance: And here is your winner… and STILL IWF Invictus champion, Nick Knight!
Rayne: Nick picks up the win here, but he looks far from happy… excuse the pun.
Iyo Kenshin: You can only beat what is put in front of you but… something doesn’t quite feel right.
{ Nick has his hand raised but he wrenches it back in clear frustration, not impressed by the quality of opponent. He leans through the ropes and begins to bark orders at the ringside crew, apparently asking for a microphone. He turns and looks up the ramp before bringing the microphone up to his mouth. }
Nick Knight: This is bull-
{ Suddenly the mic cuts completely out as the loud sound of static and white nose punches through the speakers. Nick throws the mic down in frustration, turning to get another when the sound of marching slowly fills the arena, causing him to turn back around as he looks up the ramp. The lights begin to flicker before a deep distorted voice emerges from the speakers. }
Voice: We thank you, Nick, for this sacrifice.
{ Nick looks up the ramp as the sound of an air raid siren begins to blare around the arena and red lights flash in rhythm with a red alert light on the screen and the low thunder of a bass begins to resonate as “Hell March” by The Tiberian Sons plays from the speakers. As the guitar kicks into action the words “Legion” and the silhouette of five figures flashes intermittently with the alert light on the tron. A few moments pass and finally a figure emerges from behind the curtains dressed in a dark burgundy red suit, black shirt and imperial purple gloves. The figures face is covered by a golden mask with a golden laurel crown crapped around two horns as they slowly walk to the middle of the ramp as the music fades. }
Iyo Kenshin: What is going on?
Rayne: I’ve got a bad feeling about this…
{ Nick stares up at the stage as the figure looks down towards him, slowly raising their arms up towards the skies as four figures suddenly begin to descend from the rafters. Nick looks around as they all land in one corner of he ring, quickly detaching the ropes as they stand still, each staring right at Nick. Each figure is wearing a silver metallic mask which obscures their features and a hood which also covers their hair, completely hiding their identities. Nick looks around frantically back and forth at each of them, noting that they’re wearing different colour suits and stand at differing heights. He clenches his first, clearly not entirely sure what will happen. }
Iyo Kenshin: Nick is suddenly in some real danger here.
Rayne: It appears the cryptic warning at the end of Metamorphosis has come to life… but who are these people? And what do they want with Nick Knight?
{ Suddenly the four figures turn their heads to look at the lone figure on the stage who raises a fist in front of them with their thumb pointed out horizontally. They pause for a moment before suddenly flicking their wrist upwards to give a thumbs up. Immediately the four in the ring snap into action, lunging at Nick who clenches his fist ready to fight, but he simply cannot prevent himself from being overwhelmed by the numbers. The rain down boot after boot as they viciously lash out at Nick whilst the lone figure marches down to the ring, climbing onto the apron and raising their hand, causing the assault to immediately stop. Each of the four figures step back and suddenly stand completely still as the lone figure climbs into the ring, looking down at Nick who is knelt down in front of them, a look of defiance written over his face as he mouths some… less than complimentary expletives. Suddenly the figure explodes forwards, driving a kneecap into Nick’s face which sends him crashing to the mat. The person kneels next to Nick and looks up at the four figures around them as their voices somehow seem to emerge from the speaker in a chorus. }
Four Voices: We are Legion.
{ The lone figure slowly picks up the microphone which Nick had previously dropped before slowly wrapping their fingers around their mask, gradually peeling it back to leave only a golden laurel wrapped around a head of brown hair revealing the face of… }
Iyo Kenshin: Wait… what? That’s…
{ Roberto Verona? The crowd are buzzing with noise as the arena is filled with sound as Verona raises the microphone. }
Roberto Verona: For we are many.
{ Verona drops the mic which bounces next to Nick’s head as he lifts himself up to his feet as he is joined by the four anonymous figures who loom over Knight. Verona lifts up his head and looks out into the crowd as the IWF copyright logo begins to show in the corner of the screen. Our broadcast gradually begins to fade to black as we close another book on an episode of Odyssey. }
