IWF.com can exclusively reveal that for the first time ever the annual Iron Maiden will take place at High Stakes X. On March 31st at the Amerant Bank Arena, the opportunity to challenge the IWF Men’s and Women’s World Champions at Night of the Immortals will be on the line at the same time, guaranteeing a night of huge implications and truly High Stakes.
The Iron Maiden is contested inside a large, circular steel cage that surrounds the entire ring. The structure contains four "Iron Maidens" which contain four of the six competitors in the match. The other two start the match inside the ring. A "Maiden" opens every five minutes to let another competitor into the match. The first competitor to score a pinfall or submission inside the ring wins, meaning that it is theoretically possible for the match to conclude before all of the competitors have officially entered the match.
Former winners include Eternity (2014, 2019 & 2021), Alexis Caffrey (2015), Fiona McFly (2016 & 2020), Pandora Freeman (2017), Dawn Halliwell (2018), Virginia Stepanov (2022) and Sorcha Wyn (2023).
