Maria Iniesta stands backstage at the pre-show for Sacrifice! She smiles at the camera.
"We are here, hours before Sacrifice, and I have the exclusive honor of interviewing IWF’s one and only bagged luchador, La Bolsa!”
The shot zooms out to reveal La Bolsa, who stands proudly next to Maria.
"Hola, señora Iniesta! How are you feeling tonight?”
"I’m great, thanks! I was about to ask what your thoughts are on your match later this evening with the ever-violent Allen Chaney!”
La Bolsa nods slightly before pointing dramatically at the camera. Maria’s eyes widen as she watches Bolsa hold the pose for a few seconds.
"Señor Chaney! Consider this one bad joke, my friend. You and I are going to take each other to the limit. I am sure of it. You may walk around and tell jokes to anyone that listens, but a true entertainer can capture the minds and the hearts of his people. When I am out in the ring, I see people of all kinds. People who would never say a word to each other in any other world. But in the world of wrestling, the art that I grew up loving, they can unite. If there is at least one person out there that can be inspired by me, then my job has been done. Mi amigo, your job can never be done. You will remain unsatisfied, not because you can’t make the people believe, but because you will not make yourself believe!”
He pulls out a bag and shows it to the camera. Written on it in black marker is “CHANEY” in big letters.
"This, señor Chaney, both literally and figuratively has your name on it. Because when I meet you in the ring, it will be no laughing matter. And after I beat you, you will have to wear this for the shame that you bring yourself! When I used to wrestle in my home of Mexico, I used to give one piece of my attire to every opponent that bested me in the ring. If you, señor Chaney, can prove that you are indeed as violent as everyone says, if you can beat La Bolsa… then a reward may be in order for you. But I will not allow this to be an easy punchline for you, my friend. Despite what many may think, I am no joke. I will make you bomb, not on the stage, but in the ring. Does that answer your question, señorita?”
He turns to Maria, who nods intently.
"I think you’ve given me all that and more! Bolsa, I wish you good luck on your match tonight!”
"And I will wish señor Chaney some good luck before our match. He may need it!”
The camera cuts out as the shot lingers on the Chaney-marked paper bag.
