Chaos. Chaos is the only language we know now. War. War is the only environment we live in. Pain is the only feeling that's left. I thrive on creating all three, which means no one is safe in this warfare. Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer; isn't that right, Natasha?
FOLLOW-UP.
Hello Serenity. This is Dr. Hofstater. I know we had our session scheduled for this week, but I will unfortunately have to delay. Due to personal circumstances, we will push back to a week ahead. Please make sure to make your calendar, and I look forward to hearing about your progress. Have a nice day!

The scenery was absolute but recognizable to the young athlete sitting on the edge of an old pit for skaters who would disappear from their parent's homes to enjoy the dark outings. Serenity sat down, rocking her legs back and forth in those high-covered Converses, and tugged on the inside of her leather jacket, watching the environment around her. She looked up to the night sky and then to the empty atmosphere before leaning forward and placing both hands on the edge of the structure to keep her balance.
"A Date with Destiny."
Is that what they call it nowadays? It sounds like utter bullshit to me. A date with destiny means someone would be chosen far beyond our reason. However, that's not the case recently.
Every time we're in the ring, we tear each other apart. We're fighting each other for the sheer chance of bragging rights, meaning we enjoy the warfare. Especially myself, I haven't found a renewed sense of hunger ever since I've been fighting without a single care in the world. It's an addiction at this point.
So what is real destiny? It's Serenity Holmes wanting to beat the living piss out of everyone in this match. We're not designed to be tag teams. We're designed to be killers without a single care in the world. Charlotte Shimizu and April Madrox can pretend to discount me, but when push comes to shove, they know I am the threat. They know that Natasha Walker can walk into that ring and beat them at their own game.
What is so hard to understand about that?
Serenity leaned backward and pulled her right knee close to her chest. One of the light posts near her started to flicker, and she didn't care about that little piece of petty danger. She rolled her eyes at the mere thought of Natasha Walker being her tag team partner but dismissed Charlotte Shimizu and April Madrox.
Because they will look at Natasha and me and think we are too stubborn to be a team. Don't get me wrong, I'll gladly kick Natasha's ass any day of the week but seeing as though the bigger picture demands for us to work together, we can put our differences aside for as much we can.
Charlotte Shimizu has said that she'd have her back against me, and so did Itami, but isn't it ironic that here we are standing against them, Natasha? This could be destiny, so all three of you could be put in the same room and told to shut up when Serenity walked in. Itami? I don't respect you either. The fact that you and Charlotte think you can handle it only means you're both intimidated.
But don't worry about that. For now, I will fear Abigail Spencer and Mai Everstone. I have had the pleasure of meeting two names in the ring. Natasha? She's eager to put both of these names down into the ground. Abigail had just returned, and Mai looked hungry to bolster her ranks. Why not take a shot at these two to tell them they aren't even close to the raw talent that Natasha and I possess?
Serenity scoffs at the mentioning of that phrase. She knew what Abigail and Mai had said about her. Natasha, on the other hand, was on the receiving end of respect from them. Honestly, it infuriated her to know that it was going to be fight against these women.
But this is what a date with destiny is all about my friends. Natasha Walker and I may not appreciate each other but we're two women who are always interested in doing a fight. I don't appreciate any of my opponents whether it's smiling ass Caroline Machado or Brooklyn's little sister, April. We continue to bring the fight because this is what it means to be in a god damn war!
I'm enjoying this but to understand the truth, we're going to win even if it means working with the enemy to do so.
