"It's a never ending battle of making your cars better and also trying to be better yourself."

The scene opens on the beautiful Irish countryside. The late afternoon sun was slowly starting to fall behind the lush hills. The bright emerald green grass was starting to fade, and turn into the dead brown for another season. The camera goes over the vast fields, and the now bare trees that surrounded the Mc Cullen homestead. It was quiet except for a few people that were making their rounds for the afternoon. The stone bridges had been fixed finally and the sound of two ATV's coming across them is soon heard. We soon see Mary and Shaun heading toward one of the large buildings on the grounds. The camera soon pans to the large steel building and we see that the doors are wide open and that Avery is standing over one of the larger vehicles. The hood was open, and she was covered in black grease and oil stains. Her hair was pulled back and her white shirt she wore was now smeared with black stains from the engine, and other parts that she had fixed earlier that day. As she works her mind goes back to another time.
The scene soon changes to a vast jungle somewhere on the island of Madagascar. The trees were ablaze with flames from the explosions that had gone off as they raced through the jungle. The jeep was stalled after a run in with a tree stump. Avery was under the hood, sweating wildly, as the sound of a plane flew low over head. A young man with dark hair was on the back of it, looking around, as another gentlemen barely fitting into the sweater that he wore.
Dick: How's it coming Avery?
Avery: A few more minutes... Teddy gun it!
The larger man tries to start the jeep but there was only a slight stirring. Avery curses under her breath and starts to tune it up once again.
Dick: Avery? They're coming back!
Avery looks up and sighs, seeing the large plane coming back and coming down toward them.
Avery: Find something to stall them with!
Dick rummages around in the back of the jeep and soon pulls out a rocket launcher. Avery sighs, and goes back to trying to get the jeep to run once again. Teddy turns the key over once again and the jeep roars to life. Avery slams the hood down, and hops into the drivers seat once again, and they take off through the jungle once again with the large plane starting to come over them.
Voice: Avery! Avery! Avery!
Avery snaps from her thoughts and sees Marty and Shaun coming in through the giant doors. She hops down from the front of the large truck that she was working on, and leans against the front of it.
Avery: What do you two want?
Shaun: Just wanted to see what you were doing. You were lost in thought when we came in. Are you all right?
Avery: I'm fine. Just thinking back to when I first started out with Dr. Lander.
Marty: I still don't know why you gave it all up. You had everything you wanted. Money, fame, any man you wanted...
Avery: We found what we were looking for that's why.
Shaun: So? You could have gone out there and found a lot more. The big guy is back at the museum.
Avery: What are you saying?
Marty: He's saying that you have connections all over, so why not use them? We have the Triad on our side, not to mention MI6, and whoever else you ran into.
Avery smiles knowing they were right. She could do anything that she really wanted to do, but she missed her quiet life, and spending time with her family.
Avery: You have a point, but I'm doing something different now, and I'm happy with with the choice I made.
Shaun: I have to say it's a better choice then getting shot at by guys in snake costumes.
Avery: True. I do miss it at times though, but I can't let myself get distracted right now. I've lost the last two matches I've been in. I did really good at first and now...
Marty: Don't worry about it. Even the greats had their off weeks, and you're no different. You'll get your fire back, and when you do I would hate to be the one standing in front of you that night.
Shaun: He's right you know. I imagine there were times when all of you thought you would never find the fountain isn't there? But you managed to come out on top with reward in hand. Just focus this week, and you'll be fine.
Avery looks at her cousins and smiles softly. Some times they had insight of the world and it was a scary thought. She trusted them, and hey had protected her and watched over since she was young. They taught her everything she knew about the life and would never go back.
Avery: You're right. I've seen what the dumb bitch has to say, and I'm not really going to worry about what she thinks about me. Amber thinks she already has this match won... She's dead wrong.
Marty: That's the spirit! Now what do you want us to do?
Avery: Nothing... I'm going to handle this on my own. I know you mean well but this is something that I have to do.
Avery heads out of the garage and heads towards another building. Her hair was messed up and one strand hung down in her eyes. She pushes it back, as she reaches the building. She opens the door, revealing a large private gym. She turns on the lights and the door closes behind her. Avery moves to the punching bag that hung in front of a mirror. She hits it, and it swings a bit, and she hits it again, letting it move around her as she sidesteps.
Avery: I know what you're thinking already Amber, and that it's the face that punching bags don't hit back. But you know what I don't care what you think. You see last week you pinned Crystal and not me. I know that you would have loved nothing more then to have me on the mat, but you didn't. Maybe that's why they gave us this match just to see which one of us is truly the best in all of this don't you? I already know how you move, your tells, and your faults when you're in the ring. I watched you carefully and now I have the upper hand.
Avery hits the punching bag a bit harder with a hard left and moves as it swung by her. Her eyes were full of determination, as she looked at herself in the mirror.
Avery: See the problem with you is simple. You are full of yourself, and think that you're the top bitch! I've faced people like you only to have them fall and fail miserably time and time again. Amber I can't stand people like you, and putting other people down, that just need to work a little harder than you. I've worked all my life for what I believe in, and did what was right. If it wasn't for me then I did it for everyone else around me. You lied to the man you said you loved, and then turn around and say that it was his fault? You truly are a bitch. And one that is going to go down without a second thought. I've had enough of your mouth, and now it's time to shut it once and for all.
Avery then hits the punching bag with a hard roundhouse kick, and it swings a bit harder and higher this time. Her red hair blazes in the sunlight that streamed through the bay like windows.
Avery: You really think that just because you won a few matches that you are better then everyone else that stands against you? Hardly. You think that I'm going to lie down and let you just walk all over me so you can gain another win? No. Last week I didn't focus on you but the others, and this time around it's going to be just you and me. I'm not afraid of you or whatever you're going to bring into that ring. You don't deserve respect for the way you act. You're a bitch that thinks she's entitled to everything around her without actually doing anything. From what I can see you haven't even gotten a title yet, so what makes you think that you can stand in the ring, and try to fight your way to the top when you haven't achieved even the slightest thing that you wanted?
She hits the punching bag harder and it flies off the hook that it was hanging on. Avery smiles to herself as she watches it hit the floor, and looks at herself in the mirror once again.
Avery: Monday night will be a night that no one forgets. You see Amber it will be the night that I show you how wrong you are in thinking that you'll make it to face Miss Reed. When I started in this company I made a promise to myself that I wasn't going to back down from anyone that stood in my way and I'm going to stick by it. I don't care what it takes to win this match but I will do everything that has to be done to stop you Amber, and start my way to the top.
Avery fixes her hair and picks up the punching bag hanging it back on the hook. She turns to the window and stares out at the vast fields that stretched out before her. She stares out at the fields, letting her thoughts wander to the match that was just a few days away. She would fight, and do whatever she had to do, but she would gain that next win and show the world she wasn't weak or someone that should be underestimated. She smiles to herself and turns away from the window and starts hitting the punching bag once again, as the scene fades to black.
