{The camera shows Nick Danger on a Beach in Sunrise, Florida where he not only faces Wraith in a ladder match for the IWF World Television Championship but also enters the roulette match as well. Nick is looking at the ocean to help clear his mind. But Nick hears a familiar voice speak to him.}
James Gilmore: I finally found you, Danger Bear.
{Nick turns and sees none other than James Gilmore. Nick smiles and gives James Gilmore a hug and speaks}
Nick Danger: It's good to see you, James. How did you know that I would be here?
{James smiles at Nick and speaks}
James Gilmore: I went to the Fatal Dojo. Nate told me that you came here to clear your mind. I can tell you have a lot of things on your mind. Do you want to talk about it, Nick?
{Nick sits on the sand and James does the same sitting next to Nick. Nick sighed and speaks}
Nick Danger: Yeah I got a lot of things on my mind James. It's mostly about my father not being here anymore. The first IWF pay-per-view he saw me wrestle was at High Stakes back in 2021. I wish he got to see me wrestle more but I can only blame myself.
{James looks worried for a moment and speaks}
James Gilmore: Why do you say that Nick?
Nick Danger: Because I never truly saw what my father had to do until I started my wrestling path. Knowing that you have to work twice as hard but not let the legacy that was built go to waste as well. Maybe I am overthinking some stuff in my mind but I am truly thankful for the legacy he built for me.
{James touches Nick's Left shoulder and speaks}
James Gilmore: You shouldn't feel like that Nick. Your father was a great man and believed that you could push yourself past your limits and become something more for yourself. Max wouldn’t want you to be sad or blame yourself because you look up to your grandfather. I am personally proud of the person you are now Nick.
{Nick looks at James and speaks}
Nick Danger: Thank you, James. But sometimes I feel like I've let you down.
{James sees Nick sad disappeared at the moment and then speaks}
James Gilmore: Nick you could never have disappointed me. I am proud to have trained you, Nick. To be honest you remind me of when I first got into wrestling. I think of you as my own son as well Nick. Do you remember what I told you when you first thought I'd made a mistake in training you?
{Nick chuckles to himself for a moment and speaks}
Nick Danger: That is the main reason why I became “The Rising Ace”. But I would love to hear it again.
{James takes a breath and speaks}
James Gilmore: I said Aside from my own kids, you’re the closest thing to a second son I’ll ever have in my life. But ya gotta start learning’ to believe in yourself and understanding what it truly means to get back up after you’ve gotten knocked down.
{ JJ take a deep breath and speaks. }
James Gilmore: This ain’t easy, it wasn’t meant to be easy. That’s why we go through these grinds sometimes. I wish I figured things out a lil earlier than when I did, but...being’ a bigger man' means knowing that you ain’t gonna win all the time. How you respond to these setbacks...well, that’s your choice and yours alone. That is what I said to you three years ago. I am glad you kept moving forward and always found a way to bounce from each of those losses. But I wish Ram followed the same path as you did but he made his bed and now he is lying in it.
Nick takes a deep breath and speaks
Nick Danger: I did wish that Ram never fell down that path but he has Yulia in his ear now. I can't stand that damn woman. She is just a bitter ugly woman who can't wrestle as well.
Nick scratches his head for a moment then speaks again looking at James Gilmore
Nick Danger: I'm sorry that I wasn't there when you needed me the most. But I can't forgive what Ram did to your kids.
Nick gets angry and speaks
Nick Danger: I can't forgive what Ram did to bring your kids involved in that situation. But not going to lie. I can't play innocent like I was always a good guy. I'm not happy with what I did in the Indies.
Nick calmed himself down for a moment and speaks
Nick Danger: I did things that I wasn't very proud of doing. Nonetheless, I can't change my past but I can learn from it and make my future better. I never want to be that person again. It made me see a monster in myself and that bothered me.
James takes a breath and speaks
James Gilmore: Nick I never judge your past. I look at your actions on how you rebuilt yourself and became the man you are now. You have always followed the teachings of the training. I need to give you something.
Nick looks curious for a moment and speaks
Nick Danger: You don't need to give anything.
James grabs a wristband out of his right pocket and gives it to Nick
James Gilmore: You will need some good luck when facing Wraith. So I wanted to give you something that meant the world to me.
Nick examines the wristband and it reads “Heart, Mind, and Soul”. Nick looks shocked for a moment and speaks.
Nick Danger: I didn’t know you still had this wristband. I gave this to you at Night Of The Immortals 7. It was my Night Of The Immortals debut. Why did you keep it for this long?
James looks at Nick and smiles
James Gilmore: Because it was from my student. I thought that you were going to throw away all of what you learned. But you didn't, you just grew from every loss and got better. I am proud to have you as not only my student but as my friend.
Nick and James standup and give each other a hug and they both smile at each other. Nick then stop hugging James and speaks.
Nick Danger: I wish we could have had one more match against each other. It would have been cool if we had faced each other at Night Of The Immortals in the main event.
{James sigh for a moment and speaks}
James Gilmore: That would have been a dream come true for me. But after being retired I feel healthier than ever. Plus I can spend all the time I want with my kids. So my new dream is to see you main event Night Of The Immortals. You are one of the people that will always give it their all in every match you are in and that will never slow you down.
{Nicks girlfriend Amy Blaze appear and speaks toward them both}
Amy Blaze: I knew I would find you guys here. Hey JJ how are you?
{James smile at Amy and speaks}
James Gilmore: Hello Amy looking as beautiful as ever. I’m doing okay just having a heart to heart with Nick. He was nervous about his match with Wraith at High Stakes.
{Amy chuckle to herself then speaks}
Amy Blaze: I’m glad you guys are having a heart to heart with each other. Nick always gets too excited when he has a match coming up.
{James laughs to himself then speaks}
James Gilmore: I know Nick can get over excited and times but has a strong heart.
{Nick gives Amy a kiss on the cheek and speaks}
Nick Danger: You didn’t have to come out here Amy.
{Amy smiles and speaks}
Amy Blaze: But I wanted to Nick. Plus I know you two are hungry. So how about we get something to eat together?
{Nick nods in agreement and speaks}
Nick Danger: That sounds like a plan Amy. JJ are you feeling some Barbecue?
{JJ smiles and speaks}
James Gilmore: let's get some Smoken Bones.
Nick Danger: Okay then JJ I will drive.
{A few days later Nick Danger is in the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Nick is in the ring with a ladder set up to prepare for his match against Ram for the IWF World Television Championship. Nick takes a breath and speaks.}
Nick Danger: The last time I did double duty at High Stakes. I was facing your brother-in-law Warren Harper for the IWF World Heavyweight Championship. Then I entered the Roulette match as well. I am very excited about this ladder match but let me get some things off my chest.
{Nick takes a breath and climbs the first step of the ladder and then looks at the camera and speaks}
Nick Danger: Wraith you must think to yourself people are just below you and that makes you sick. Let's pretend this ladder is a ranking system. The first step of the ladder is the F-tier ranking. This means everyone in this ranking is below you and your family. You said everyone who steps up to you and once you defeat them they run away or disappear from your sight.
{Nick climbs all the way to the top and sits on the ladder takes a breath and speaks looking at the camera}
Nick Danger:But I am not any of those guy’s. See I can take a loss and still be in IWF. I won’t leave after a loss then complain why things are not fair. To be honest we all play the reverse card when things don’t go our way. I didn’t like the outcome when I first put the title on the line against you. Nonetheless I have to take that loss like a man. My father asked me one time what if I told you that 10 years from now, your life would be exactly the same? I doubt you'd be happy. So, why are you so afraid of change?
{Nick pause for a moment and speaks}
Nick Danger: I gotta say it’s time for a change. If I am being honest I am tired of seeing your family always facing each other at Night Of The Immortals. That is what happened last year when you and your father Angel Blake faced your brother Dean Harper and JC Keeton in a winner takes all match.
{Nick pauses for a moment and sighs for a moment and drops down from the ladder landing on his feet. He walks to the corner and speaks looking at the camera}
Nick Danger: The true reason why I have a problem with you holding the IWF World Television Championship is because I feel like you let greed cloud your judgment. Hell, your entire family let greed overtake the true principles of being a true champion. I already know the true meaning of a champion: it that a person who enthusiastically supports, defends, or fights for a person, belief, right, or principle. But fight for your own principle and that bothers. That title should be defended every week, not when you feel ready or when you are told to defend the title at any of the pay per views.
{Nick takes a breath for a moment and speaks with look on his face}
Nick Danger: For the longest time, I was horrified to hear the word 'failure,' but I've come to realize that we all fail. It's just a part of life. We all fall. It's how you rebound that shows the type of person you are. That is why I am “The Rising Ace” of IWF. I plan on giving you a fight for your life Wraith. Because you're not going to be fighting the same guy last year when I was the IWF World Television Champion. I am more hungry than I have ever been right now. So at High Stakes, I am putting everything I have to take that title away from you.
{Nick pauses for a moment and speaks}
Nick Danger:IWF in my head is something I'm trying to help build, get it to its peak. I will do whatever I have to: I will strap IWF to my back and carry it up a cliff if I have to. For the three years that I have been in this company, I have shown my heart, my soul, and my spirit in this place. I bleed, I shed tears and I sweat in this very ring. This is my home and I love it but I cannot sit by and let idiots like yourself Wraith think they run this place.
{Nick pauses for a moment and speaks}
Nick Danger: The reason I truly want a shot at winning the IWF World Television Championship is because my goal is to go for a shot at the IWF World Heavyweight Championship. At Night Of The Immortal. Plus I want to be the true leader of the new Gladiator division. You're just going to enjoy destroying every person in that division but I want to lead so when I finally have enough title defenses to fight your brother's son at Night Of The Immortals I hope he is prepared for a beating.
{Nick calms himself down for a moment but then speaks again}
Nick Danger: On Odyssey, you saw my number for the roulette match was 23 and it is funny I was that age when I started out in IWF. I plan to give it my all to survive until I become the winner. I never faked my emotions or my desire to be a winner. I always have to take every loss like a champ but I have to get better and stronger. This won't be like Dragon Ball Z but won't need a spirit bomb to finish you off Wraith. The last time we were in the ring together I saw you holding your jaw after I gave a Strike Out but only this time I will leave seeing stars and become the IWF World Television Champion. I will see you in two more days.
