In a dimly lit locker room, the faint scent of liniment mingled with the echoes of past glory. "Randi Levitt," I muttered, rolling the name on my tongue like a sour grape. "She's the one they've lined up for me this week, huh?"I leaned back on the worn-out bench, the leather groaning in protest beneath my weight. My joints creaked in solidarity. "Back in my prime, I'd have twisted her into a pretzel without breaking a sweat," I reminisced, a smirk playing on my weathered face. "But these days..." I trailed off, shaking my head ruefully. The mirror reflected a woman I hardly recognized—lines etched where once there was smoothness, scars tracing tales of battles long past. "But I've still got a trick or two up my sleeve," I muttered, patting the faded spandex of my wrestling attire. "Experience, that's what counts. Can't learn that from a textbook."I laced up my boots, each tug a reminder of the countless arenas I'd graced, the thousands of fans who'd cheered my name. "Randi Levitt may have youth on her side," I mused, rising to my feet with a grunt, "but I've got something she doesn't—heart."With a last glance in the mirror, I straightened my posture, defiance gleaming in my eyes. "Time to show this young pup what an old dog can still do," I declared, the fire of determination burning bright within me. "Randi Levitt, you may be the future, but tonight, I'm your present. And I'm not going down without a fight."
