Serenity! What the hell were you thinking?! Answer the damn phone! You have no idea what the hell you just landed yourself into! Because of your actions, my phones have been going off the hook! She's pressing charges, and you're nowhere to be found! Call me immediately so we can sort this out!
CRUTCH.
"That'll be $5,000." Serenity swiped her platinum credit card at one of the high-end shops in Central London while on an international tour with IWF. Despite her loss at the Iron Maiden, the change in scenery had done her justice to understand how serious she was about enjoying her life. However, the traumatic event of her last therapy session had not been forgotten after striking local news in Houston caused her management to scramble around like headless chickens.
However, the perpetrator of this mess was out of the country, away from jurisdiction,, which meant Serenity Holmes could be in deeper trouble than she anticipated or,, worse, ignored. The twenty-year-old had shown wild behaviors that had endangered her and others, but here she was shopping on a vacation despite being booked for Sacrifice. She didn't mean exalting herself in public by wearing high-end clothing that didn't fit her usual grunge style. No, she embraced this confident yet rebellious attitude that most would consider a sell-out.
But was she a sell-out? Hell no. This was evolution.
Her phone was buzzing in her pocket, but Serenity focused on her presence alone. Nothing would shatter her girl's time, especially across the pond. Despite the recent drama with her father, she focused on herself. She needed this, and this was the start of an evolutionary phase in her career—another monumental rise better than she had in 2023.
"Jesus Christ." She answered her iPhone and her lawyer yelled again in her ear. "Listen, I don't have time for this." She hung up and slid the phone back into her pocket after approaching her rented BMW i8 in all black. She gently placed her newly bought belongings in the backseat before taking refuge in the driver's following the one-way traffic, mainly through the inner channels of the city. Although she didn't have a license, she used her money to give her a temporary pass. She was abusing her life in ways she didn't imagine, but Serenity was enjoying the finest things in life.
Reaching a roundabout, she saw a little commotion ahead, with traffic getting heavier. Serenity honked on her horn several times, demanding to be let through, but then stumbled upon another strip of high-end shops and restaurants. She parked her car next to a Prada, Gucci, and Michael Kors store to continue her luxuriously new vision for her career. She's even getting back into the club scene now that she feels liberated. Serenity Holmes may have found her independence, but it may come at the cost of another personal setback.
She walked into the store and was greeted by one of the staff members. After being escorted around and shown the various items for sale and on display, Serenity smiled at the limitless options before her until the phone rang again.
"Excuse me." The staff member nodded and left her alone as Serenity walked away from the crowd to a private seating area. She sat down with her legs crossed, showing her newly bought high heels. She lifted up the Gucci shades in her black short dress with a white jean jacket to pull back her silky black hair down. "What?"
"Serenity, please! I am begging you to listen to me-"
No.
"What?"
No. I'm done listening to people. It's a simple word—two letters, one syllable—but it is so powerful. You say that word with ease, and the entire world will lose its mind. Do you know why? It upsets the natural order of things. It ruins the grand plan and sets a boundary that people will test but can never break through.
What do you think will be MiMi's breakthrough? Do you remember MiMi? Oh, right. You don't watch wrestling. Better yet, you don't watch anything because you're my lawyer. I pay you to protect me and make sure nothing happens to me.
But you can't protect MiMi now, can you?
"I don't understand-"
Well, you should. She had it easier than I did growing up. Both of our mothers are gone, but I bet she never got abused or hated like mine did to me. On top of that, her love for her father must have been amazing, but where was my father? Oh, he's minding his own damn business. Now, I have to show MiMi that we may be similar but are worlds apart regarding the professional wrestling ring.
Even in my amateur days, I was the best. My father trained in his academy back In Houston. I remember stepping into the ring against Amber, the top student and amateur wrestler in Houston then, and I was embarrassed in my first practice match. Ultimately, I graduated in three years and racked up one of the best performances, thanks to my dad's teachings.
However, my career speaks for itself. MiMi, I don't care for you. This is your opportunity to try and make a name for yourself, but understand precisely who you're dealing with. This isn't Serenity Holmes welcoming you with open arms; it's Serenity Holmes who chokes you with her bare hands.
So, my lawyer, you can add that to the list of bad things I've done because I honestly don't care. I'm a free woman. I don't have anything or anyone holding me back. It's time to show the world exactly what I'm capable of, and I can't wait to see their faces
