Jack was pacing in Doctor Smith's office trying to find the right way to bring up his issue as she simply waited.
"Whenever you are ready, Jack. There is no pressure here."
"I just don't know if I'm ready to tell Pax about me and Nate."
"It sounds like you're hesitant. Can you tell me more about why you feel this way?" She tapped her pen on the paper in front of her.
"Yeah, it's just... complicated. Pax and Nate have been friends for so long, and I don't want things to get weird between them because of me. I'm the new addition to the friend group. I don't want Pax to feel like a third wheel. OR to feel I'm like messing everything up. Especially with how willing to go to bat Pax is for me."
"It's understandable to worry about how your relationship might impact their friendship. Have you considered how Pax might react if she found out from someone else?"
"That's exactly what I'm worried about. I don't want him to feel like I was keeping secrets from him, but I also don't want to cause any tension between him and Nate."
"It sounds like you value both your relationship with Nate and your friendship with Pax. Have you thought about discussing your concerns with Nate and getting his perspective on the situation?"
"I have. He thinks I'm being a little bitch about it. But he's had friends before. Pax and Nate are my first real friends that were not lovebombing me into a cult. I want things to stay as they are. But I don't want Nate to think I'm ashamed of our relationship or something?"
"Communication is key in any relationship. It might be helpful to express your concerns to Nate openly and honestly. That way, you can work together to find a solution that respects everyone's feelings."
"You're right."
Dr. Smith smiled, "I'm glad I could help, Jack. Remember, it's okay to take your time, but keeping open lines of communication will ultimately benefit everyone involved."
Jack steps into the center of a crowded park, his eyes narrowed with intensity as he grips the microphone tightly in his hand looking only at the camera.
"Listen up, Cyrus and Tytus," Jack begins, his voice booming over the sounds fo the park. "You two think you can just jump me after my match and get away with it? Well, you've got another thing coming."
He paces back and forth, the frustration evident in every step. "I don't care how big you are, how tough you think you are. You don't mess with me and expect to walk away unscathed. You want to play dirty? Fine. But remember, I play dirty too, and I play to win."
"You think you're unstoppable? You think you're the kings of the ring? Well, this week, you're going to find out what happens when you mess with the wrong guy."
Jack's gaze pierces through the camera, directly addressing his adversaries. "Cyrus, Tytus, I hope you're listening because this week, I'm going to make you regret ever crossing paths with me. Get ready for a beating you won't soon forget."
"Now, as for Pax and Nate," Jack begins, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. "I know you've been itching to get in on the action. You two want a piece of Cyrus and Tytus just as much as I do, and this week, we're going to give them a taste of what happens when you mess with the best tag team in the business. We might not have gold. We might not have championship history. But we are a fucking unit." Jack takes a deep breath as he steps forward, his expression softening as he gazes out at the camera, his eyes reflecting a deep sense of sincerity.
"Family," he begins, his voice filled with warmth and emotion. "It's more than just blood. It's more than just a last name. Family is the bond that holds us together through the good times and the bad, the victories and the defeats."
He pauses, letting his words sink in before continuing. "In this ring, we're not just wrestlers. We're a family. We stand by each other, we fight for each other, and we never leave anyone behind."
"We're not just a team, we're a family, TDH forever." Jack's gaze shifts to his tag team partners are playing some basketball waiting for him to finish his promo, Pax and Nate, and a smile spreads across his face. "Pax, Nate, you two aren't just my partners. You're my brothers. Together, we've faced some of the toughest challenges this sport has to offer, and together, we've come out on top."
He looks out at the camera once more, his voice growing stronger with each word. "But it's not just us. Every single person in this company, every fan watching at home, you're all part of our family too. You're the ones who lift us up when we fall, who cheer us on when we triumph, and who remind us why we do what we do."
"So here's to family," he declares, his voice ringing out with passion. "Here's to the bonds that unite us, the strength that sustains us, and the love that empowers us. Because as long as we have each other, there's nothing we can't overcome." Jack declares, his voice ringing out with conviction. "And this week, we're going to show the world what happens when you mess with family."
With a final defiant glare, Jack drops the microphone and exits the frame, with a promise of retribution.
