You were someone in the old days when life was much more straightforward. How lucky were you to be born into the first generation of women's profession in wrestling? I give my hat to you, but now that the times have changed, it's time for you to do the same. T me waits for no one, and he is cruel. It reminds us of the bigger picture, and in this very moment, the bigger picture is me.
REPRIMANDED.
The fucking cheek of that asshole to ruin her first appearance as IWF Invictus Champion rubbed her the wrong way. She took it as an insult to her time in the company after overcoming failure a ter failure. The world watched her argue with Jason rather than be victorious in her debut as champion on regular television programming. What was worse? The same pathetic performance center athletes were offered opportunities specifically to Nancy Pailson-Carlson, who couldn't hold a candle next to her light. Serenity felt the consequences of keeping her eyes off the ball, the distractions leading her to unnecessary circumstances, and she was about to continue on that path where life wasn't finished.
Tokyo, Japan.
The city is beautiful—a landmark of technological developments intertwining with traditional values and beliefs. Serenity sat in the backseat of her private transport, getting accustomed to the high-end lifestyle many dreamed of living. However her demeanor wasn't an appreciative one, Serenity's emotions were still running high from her last showing on Tuesday Night Sacrifice. The embarrassing defeat to Nancy had her blood boiling, and scrolling through her social media timeline regarding their match made her want to rip her hair from her head.
She sighed. Serenity put her phone down and stared through the window. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes,, and did her best to keep her emotions in check. Nancy's victory may have celebrated her career, but deep down, she signed her death note in the book of Serenity. Everyone has been portraying Nancy's win as her ultimate comeback from her recent travesty of being left behind in the industry's evolution. A comb ck at Serenity's expense? It's not going to happen.
The headlines on social media continued the promotion of Nancy's win over Serenity. After picking up the phone, she kept scrolling until she had enough. Serenity threw a fit, throwing her arms and legs everywhere and grappling in the back seat in a hissy fit. She sat up and screamed at the top of her lungs, "PULL OVER NOW!!!" the transport SUV came to a screeching halt near a curb. Serenity opened the back door and stormed out of the vehicle after slamming it shut, to which many of the onlookers kept their distance, not used to the chaos.
She went on a walk to get away from everyone, especially after having had enough of seeing her humiliation. Nancy was receiving praise in the other world. A world that had left her behind now had the chance to welcome her, but she knew they weren't doing this for Nancy; it was against Serenity.
When she tugged on her leather jacket and walked forward with her arms closed, Serenity walked through a maze of alleyways, narrow pathways, and crowded areas, hoping to escape everything.
It played over in her mind. She couldn't fathom the loss that was easily plaguing her mind to the point she wanted to rip someone's head off. Serenity paused momentarily and exploded into another tantrum, kicking down a trash can. She stomped down on the trash can, flattening it until she kicked it away. She pounced repeatedly, wanting to grab Nancy's head and punch it to a tee.
I hate you, Nancy.
I hate your fucking guts, especially now that you believe you are worthy to be seen again.
Nancy. I do not expect you to understand being a relic in my generation. This is the equivalent of taking a dinosaur and putting it into today's forest. Would it survive? No. Th a would be shot do n instantly. You are a beast, a lucky prey who is about to be again fortunate. There aren't any distractions from me directly putting my championship on the line against you, someone who doesn't deserve this opportunity, but here we are anyway.
Serenity grabbed onto a chair and threw it against a wall.
Now, I have to put you down for good. What you did last week was the most significant offense you could ever do. You decided to embarrass me, and I don't take too kindly to that.
Now, your potential comeback will be your guaranteed retirement. Too long have you been wasting our time pretending you could make it to your prime again? You must be young, talented, and the best to do this. Three traits I already have but you? You've had it. You may have the reputation millions wish they could reach in this industry, but once evolution took its course, you became obsolete.
Yes, you became nothing. You are nothing, and I don't understand why the performance center even allows you to compete when you're almost at retirement age. Shouldn't you be busy cashing your 401K or invoking your life insurance plan?
Listen here, you old hack!
I'm the IWF Invictus Champion, and I am NOT losing my championship, which has evaded me for so long, to an extra on the set of The Walking Dead!
Serenity stops momentarily and leans against the wall with her arms folded across her chest.
When it's all said and done, Nancy, only one woman can lead this industry into the next generation, and that's me. I've amassed, accomplished, and garnered more than you have since I was 18! What you've done in 20 years, it only took me two. It will only be quick again when I end your career for good and bury you alive in that ring!
