IWF GLADIATOR CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERNick Danger vs. TJ Alexander vs. RAM
-------------------------------
{ We open up Legacy 2024 with the cameras panning around the famous Tokyo Dome. Around 60,000 have packed into the home of NPB's Yomiuri Giants to see an exciting night of Imperial action. We see several ladders surrounding the ring, one on each side, as we cut to the announcer's table. }Terri Morasco: Welcome to Tokyo! Welcome to IWF Legacy 2024! We've got a blockbuster night in store for you, beginning with a ladder match to determine the #1 contender for the Gladiator Championship!
{ Hanging twenty feet above the ring is a contract, clamped tightly on a clipboard. }Vasco Dias: This is what TJ Alexander wanted after that six-man tag last week! And it's gonna be brutal!
{ As "The Touch" By Stan Bush blares out of the PA speakers, TJ Alexander walks onto stages and raises his hands out to the side, he walks down the ramp with a cocky arrogance and chip on his shoulder, and TJ runs into the ring and climbs the nearest turnbuckle and looks into the crowd with a smile on his face. }Terri Morasco: As you alluded to Vasco, hanging twenty feet above the ring is a contract! The one who grabs a hold of that document will earn the right to face Nate Harris for the Gladiator Championship!
{ The lights turn red and red smoke follows "Out Of The Black" by Royal Blood begin to play and the crowd start to chant RISING ACE! Nick Danger walks out wearing his wrestling attire and red pryo light up the entrance ramp. He walk down the entrance ramp giving fans high fives and a few hugs to the smaller fans. Nick climb the steel steps and goes to the second turnbuckle and takes of his jacket and toss it to a fan. Nick jump inside the ring and goes to the corner and straighten up his arm sleeve and wait for the match to start. }Vasco Dias: This is gonna be a war. You'd have to be insane to want to be a part of something like this!
Terri Morasco: TJ and Nick looked primed and ready to go! We're now waiting for RAM to make his entrance!
{ The opening bars to a metal cover of "Necron" -- the final battle theme from Final Fantasy IX -- begin to play as we hear distorted audio recordings of screams and laughter filter in. The visual of blood red-hued programming language being typed on a screen is seen with a hint of flame dancing in the background. The flames grow bigger and bigger before the pictures cut to black, and the following message appears. }"c000021a [FATAL SYSTEM ERROR]"
{ As "Necron" kicks into gear, Ram hops into the picture, and as pyro goes off around him he pretends to do the famous Buster Sword "victory" pose before heading down to ringside. While he gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, he takes a moment or two to look around and admire the gathering around him before stepping inside the ring. Upon closer inspection, we see that RAM isn't exactly feeling very comfortable surrounded by those ladders. }Vasco Dias: What the...?! I don't think RAM looks well out there.
Terri Morasco: Hate to say it, but I tend to agree. We hope that nothing's wrong with him.
Vasco Dias: If anyone can use a ladder as a weapon in this match, it's got to be RAM! But TJ and Nick ain't no slouches when it comes to these matches either!
[DING!]
{ The match begins with all three men staring each other down before TJ Alexander makes the first move, charging at RAM and taking him down with a shoulder tackle! Nick Danger plasters TJ with a hard lariat that sends him to the outside! Overall, this match wasn't about wrestling holds; it was about the brutality of the shots dished out -- and taken -- by all three men involved. }Terri Morasco: They're already on the outside!
Vasco Dias: And headed towards us! We better scram!!
Terri Morasco: Let's not get too far ahead of ourselvesâŚ
{ On the outside, RAM is firing punches that connect with Nick and TJ in succession before the brawl heads toward the announce table! As RAM and TJ separate and trade knife-edge chops in front of Terri and Vasco, Nick reaches underneath the ring and finds a kendo stick! He then stalks the two men from behind and -- WHACK! -- cracks RAM on the spine with the stick before cracking TJ in the gut! Back and forth, Nick keeps cracking TJ and RAM with the kendo stick until it snaps in two! Danger than leans both of his dazed opponents against the announcer's desk before charging with a double clothesline -- only to wind up on the wrong end of a double boot to the face! }Vasco Dias: Ow!
Terri Morasco: He took that one hard!
{ TJ and RAM quickly form a rather uneasy alliance, targeting Nick for some extra playtime! They dump him back into the ring before going under the apron to find a pair of steel chairs! With each man holding a chair, they slide into the ring just as Nick rises to his feet! Danger sees RAM taking a swing at his noggin with the chair and dodges, and Marshall turns around...only to take a shot to the skull with TJ's chair! RAM fumbles his own chair to the mat and crashes hard; Nick pounds on RAM's temples and nose as TJ sets his own chair on the canvas and uses it as a springboard to knock both RAM andNick for a loop with a double flying forearm! }Terri Morasco: OH!!
Vasco Dias: That was a lot of fun to watch!
{ TJ kicks both chairs out of the ring before going down to the floor! He spots a pair of ladders and places them in such a way that they're nestled side-by-side against each other, the top rung resting on top of the safety fence and the bottom portion resting on the top rope! He then grabs a third, even longer, ladder and sets it up in the center of the ring! Nick is able to get RAM stunned with a series of kicks and punches to the gut before dumping him on top of the pair of ladders -- only fo be chucked onto the makeshit bridge himself as TJ slams him onto the structure before taking the climb up the extra-long ladder! He's about three-quarters of the way to the top before taking the plunge, NAILING BOTH RAM AND NICK WITH A MOONSAULT THAT SENDS ALL THREE CRASHING THROUGH THE LADDER BRIDGE AND ONTO THE FLOOR! }Vasco Dias: WHOA!!!
Terri Morasco: I hope neither man is seriously injured! Just look at the calamity!
{ Blue Shoes can only stand and watch from afar as TJ extricates himself from the mangled mess of steel first, but Nick isn't too far behind at this stage. He slowly gets back to a vertical base and clubs Alexander fromb ehind with a forearm, followed by a second, then a third! TJ staggers forward and heads toward the barricade, and that's when Nick makes his move, sending TJ head over heels into the crowd with a running dropkick before turning his attention towards his longtime rival! }Vasco Dias: We gotta get some security out here to deal with crowd control!
{ Nick takes one of the normal ladders and slides it back into the ring before dumping RAM back inside as well! Nick sets up the shorter ladder and begins his first climb. Slowly but surely, he's able to reach for the dangling contract -- only for RAM to knock him off his perch! Danger lands on the canvas with a thud as RAM, eyeing the extra-long ladder, leans it against the corner! Unfortunately, he isn't aware that Nick had grabbed one of the two steel chairs on the outside and set it up in the center of the ring. Using said chair as a springboard, Danger NAILS RAM with his Rise and Fall springboard forearm smash that that causes him to lean against the extra-long ladder before taking a chair shot to the schnozz as a follow-up! }Terri Morasco: What a shot!
Vasco Dias: World Series MVP Corey Seager could've felt that one!
{ Nick turns around and runs right into a massive clothesline from TJ Alexander, who managed to scrape himself out of the crowd and back into the match! Nick and TJ trade punches and chops with each other as RAM is left to shake off the fuzzies on the apron. Nick shoots TJ into the corner and charges, only to eat a counter elbow for lunch! TJ shoots Nick into the buckles himself before charging, only to be met with a boot to the jaw! RAM, on the apron, scowls as he enters the ring and decides that Nick and TJ have had enough playtime together! RAM sends TJ into the corner and softens him up with a chop, followed by Nick, and so on! Eventually, the two men connect with a pair of dropkicks to Alexander's head, causing him to slump down and go nighty-night in the corner! RAM then turns his attention toward Nick and smacks him on the spine with the lone steel chair left in the ring! Nick stumbles through the ropes and onto the floor, and RAM follows him to the outside and viciously pounds on his rival with clubbing rights and lefts! RAM then sends Nick crashing into the steel steps before eyeing the extra-long ladder leaning in an adjacent corner to TJ's position. }Vasco Dias: Oh, I don't like the look on RAM's eyes!
Terri Morasco: I have a bad, bad feeling about this...
{ As TJ begins to rise after his peaceful slumber in the corner, RAM and Nick continue duking it out, this time on the arena floor! RAM connects with a wild haymaker that stuns Danger before placing him on the announcer's table. He clubs his longtime rival with a few hard shots to the mug just to ensure that he's out cold before going back into the ring and setting up the extra-long ladder in the center! Unaware that TJ has rolled down to the arena floor to shake off the cobwebs, RAM sets up the ladder and eyes the hanging document above. But instead...he sets it near the ropes facing Terri and Vasco and begins climbing! Step by step, RAM ascends each rung as his eyes focus squarely on Nick Danger, who's lying prone as our Sacrifice commentary team looks on in horror! }Terri Morasco: Oh, GodâŚ
Vasco Dias: I'm scaredâŚ
Terri Morasco: This has gone too far...!!
{ Terri and Vasco stand up and get ready to vacate the announcer's area as Nick Danger lies on the table, seemingly unconscious. RAM is teetering on top of the ladder, his eyes bloodshot as he shakes his head. He takes a moment to ponder hurting Nick -- and himself in the process -- before deciding against it! RAM, shaking from head to toe, gets down off the ladder -- only to be blindsided by TJ, who clotheslines over the top rope and onto the floor and in front of the announce desk! }Terri Morasco: What a shot RAM took, but...did he just hesitate leaping off that ladder?!
Vasco Dias: I wonder what he was thinking up thereâŚ
{ As RAM takes a breather, TJ smirks as he climbs up the ladder! He then proceeds to take the great leap and attempt a senton bomb -- ONLY FOR RAM TO PULL NICK DANGER OFF THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!! The ensuing miss sees TJ CRASHING THROUGH THE ANNOUNCER'S TABLE AND LANDING IN A HEAP ON HIS BACK!!! }Terri Morasco: JESUS CHRIST!!
Vasco Dias: I can't believe this! Did RAM actually...?! Did he save Nick Danger!?!
Terri Morasco: You're damn right he did -- and TJ just paid the price!!
{ On the outside, RAM is clearly in tears, obviously shaken by something that happened to him during the tour. Nick Danger looks bewildered by the whole experience as Marshall whispers something into his ear. Nick whispers back at RAM before the latter nods his head. While we don't hear Danger's response on the high-definition audio feed, we do hear snippets from RAM. }RAM: ...I'm sorry...to the endâŚ
{ RAM and Nick, both looking as if they've been involved in a serious car accident, struggle to get back to their feet before heading inside the ring and sets up the ladder in the center! Tired and bloodied, the two longtime rivals climb up to the top of the ladder and start trading punches! The contract sways back and forth as RAM and Nick fight for with every ounce of strength they've got left in the tank! }Terri Morasco: RAM and Nick Danger have been rivals for about a year! It's only fitting that these two men are gonna see who's gonna get that contract!
Vasco Dias: I...I can't believe what I'm seeing!
Terri Morasco: And TJ's starting to stir! This could be a blockbuster ending right here!
{ RAM and Nick continue slugging away at each other, fighting desperately to reach for that dangling document. The Tokyo Dome audience comes to life as RAM, after knocking Nick's head onto the top of the ladder, places him into a modified pumphandle lift before driving him twenty-feet off the ladder AND ONTO THE MAT WITH THE MARSHALL LAW!! Unfortunately, both men wind up exhausting themselves, allowing for TJ Alexander to slowly climb up the ladder! As he reaches the top, he slowly begins to unclip the document from its moorings -- unaware that Nick Danger has, through sheer will, slowly managed to pull himself back to his feet and begin the long climb back up! TJ's hands and fingers tremble as he works on unhooking the document! Nick Danger, with a tremendous fighting spirit after taking that plunge, starts climbing back up the ladder! Nick and TJ are struggling for control of the clipboard as it has been unhooked from its clamps -- but RAM is able to get back up and, with all of his might in the tank, tips the extra-long ladder over! THIS SENDS BOTH TJ ALEXANDER AND NICK DANGER CRASHING INTO THAT TANGLE MESS OF SHORTER LADDERS ON THE OUTSIDE! In the chaos and confusion the follwed, the document falls off of its moorings, and RAM is able to catch the thing into his chest and arms to win the ladder match at 19:35! }Alison Valance: Here is your winner...RRRRRRAAAAAAMMMMM!!!!!
Terri Morasco: Wow! What a way to end this crazy battle!!
Vasco Dias: I...I...I still can't believe what I'm seeing! Not only did RAM save Nick Danger, he caught the contract like a baseball outfielder!
{ RAM's music begins playing as EMTs and other officials race out to check on Nick Danger and TJ Alexander in that tangled mess of ladders that once formed a bridge! }-------------------------------
IWF GLADIATORIX CHAMPIONSHIPRini Ishikawa vs. Caroline Machado vs. Rosa de Luca vs. Itami
-------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following is a Fatal Fourway Match for the Gladiatrix Chamipnship!
{ The lights dim in the area, and the Imperialtron slowly lights to show a dancing figurine turning slowly in a music box to the soft chimes of a simple melody and the sound of bells tolling in rhythm with the music. After ten seconds, the music suddenly picks up, full of synth. Rini virtually bounces into view, her overcoat swirling around her as she almost runs from one side of the stage to the other, waving with unbridled enthusiasm. Rini keeps beaming smiles and waving all the way down the ramp. She wipes her feet quickly on the outside and climbs between the ropes. }Alison Valance: Introducing first, from Sapporo, Japan. Weighing in at 115 lbs⌠Rini Ishikawa!
Terri Morasco: Rini has been making waves in singles competition lately.
Vasco Diaz: Itâs something. Sheâs stuck in the position of not being good enough for the rest of her faction.
{ Once inside the ring, she strikes a dramatic pose, her left hand on her hip and her right hand forming a sideways V next to her eye, still grinning. She holds the pose for a few beats and then goes to her corner. }Alison Valance: Next, from Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Weighing in at 135 lbs⌠Carolin Machado!
Terri Morasco: Caroline has had some strong words since her return. Here she has an opportunity to back up a lot of what sheâs said.
Vasco Diaz: Beyond carry a picture of the champ like some weird stalker type.
{ The lights go out, and the crowd eagerly awaits the entrance of Caroline Machado. We hear the sound of her distinctive, goofy chuckle reverberate throughout the arena. And then, as if on cue... }"Hi!!!"
{ A burst of pyro goes off, and the crowd leaps to its feet as Caroline bursts out from behind the curtain! With a smile on her face and eyes twinkling like diamonds, the Brazilian is bathed in a sea of green and gold lighting effects as Dua Lipa's "Dance the Night" starts playing. She dances on the stage to the track's first verse, taking in the moment around her. }"Baby, you can find me under the lights
Diamonds under my eyes
Turn the rhythm up, don't you wanna just
Come along for the ride?
Ooh, my outfit so tight
You can see my heartbeat tonight
I can take the heat, baby, best believe
That's the moment I shine
'Cause every romance shakes and it bends
Don't give a damn
When the night's here, I don't do tears
Baby, no chance
I could dance, I could dance, I could dance"
{ Caroline takes a bouncy stroll down the ramp and high-fives fans along the way, her bubbly and cheerful exterior shining through and through as the chorus kicks in. She hops and jives around the ring, soaking in the atmosphere before hopping on the apron and eventually over the top rope. The ring also becomes bathed in that green and gold hue as confetti shoots out from all four ringposts. }"Watch me dance, dance the night away
My hĐľart could be burnin', but you won't see it on my face
Watch me dancĐľ, dance the night away (Uh-huh)
I'll still keep the party runnin', not one hair out of place
Lately, I been movin' close to the edge
Still be lookin' my best
I stay on the beat, you can count on me
I ain't missin' no steps..."
{ The Brazilian kips up to all four corners and salutes the cheering crowd, smiling from ear to ear as she does so. As the lights return to normal, Caroline's bubbliness turns into a calm, warrior-like vibe as she waits for the match to start. }Alison Valance: Their opponent from Naples, Italy. Weighing in at 152 lbs⌠Rosa DeLuca!
{ The arena goes dark before blue strobe lights flash wildly as "DARKSIDE'' plays in the arena before Rosa De Luca walks through the curtain to a rumble of the crowd extending her arms as the lights go back up. She walks down to the ring and slides into her corner, waiting for the match to start. }Terri Morasco: Do you have any thoughts on this match Vasco?
Vasco Diaz: I think if the list of competitors ended here that Rosa DeLuca would be a favorite to win this match. Unfortunately for her, it isnât.
{ The arena lights fade to black as a fog begins to fill the entrance area. Eerie-pitched music begins to play as crimson light moves through the fog serpent, causing goosebumps on the skin of anyone who views it. Heavy guitar begins to blast from the speakers and bright blood-red light begins to strobe to the beat revealing that there is a creature deep inside of the fog.
Slowly the creature moves forward in an otherworldly way, sometimes moving like a man and sometimes like a serpent. There is an explosion of pyro as the vocal chord-destroying vocals of Torture by Deviloof begin and for the first time, the fans see the demon-masked face of âThe Lady Painâ Itami. }Alison Valance: Now making her way to the ring from Fukuoka, Japan âThe Demonessâ Itami!!!
Vasco Diaz: Itami is going to tear through everyone in this match.
Terri Morasco: Itâs a fatal fourway match, Vasco. Thereâs a lot that goes into that sort of thing.
{ Itami makes her way towards the ring as if the fans do not exist. It does not matter to her if they cheer or boo, all that matters is the damage that she is about to do to her opponent. That is the only time that she truly feels alive and she refuses to allow some peasants to ruin that for her, no matter how much they paid for their ticket. Once she reaches ringside she climbs the stairs and steps between the top and middle rope and goes to her corner. Years of competing in combat sports have beaten sportsmanship before the bell ro her, but once it rings there will be no mercy. }Vasco Diaz: Oh of course there is. But Ishikawa and Machado are way too soft to make the killer play. Rosa will, but sheâs going to have a target on her back in this match. Sheâs the big threat. Grant my words, Itami is gonna have the cut throat instincts to win this.
Terri Morasco: I think you are underselling everyone else in this match.
{ The official checks in with each competitor as Alison Valance makes her way out of the ring and towards the timekeepers table. He takes his time, running over the rules for each competitor as the crowd grows in excitement for the match about to begin. Once satisfied, they motion for the bell to ring and the crowd erupts in cheers. }Terri Morasco: The crowd has been great tonight and they do not fail to disappoint for this match.
{ The four women remain in their corners, eyes looking over their competitors. None of them seem eager to make the first move as the Tokyo Dome thrums with the cheers of the crowd for the contest to begin. }Vasco Diaz: This is the Tokyo Dome, Morasco. It is one of the best venues in sports.
{ Itami is the first to break the stalemate, sprinting across the ring to throw herself at Rosa with a running Knee lift into the taller woman. Rosa staggers from the hit, and Itami follows up with palm strikes, driving her opponent back into her corner with the flurry of offense.
Caroline turns towards the two women and takes several steps forward to join the fray, but appears conflicted about joining in to team up against either woman. She chews her lower lip for a moment before the reaction from the crowd causes her to turn around, revealing that Rini has moved in behind her. The smaller woman has a bright smile on her face and lifted hand to offer a lock up. }Vasco Diaz: What did I tell you? Itami shows exactly what I was saying. She was the first to act and hereâs Caroline probably worrying about being mean.
Terri Morasco: There is something to be said about not getting too focused.
{ Caroline accepts the invitation and the two women lock up in the center of the ring. At first, Caroline seems to have the advantage, using her height to leverage Rini backwards. Rini laughs though, shouting something out in Japanese before snapping Carolineâs arms down and pushing back against her. Caroline struggles in the hold as Rini pushes her down for a suplex, but the Brazilian reacts quickly, falling onto her MMA training to launch several sharp knees into Riniâs midsection. }Terri Morasco: Rini showing off her strength but Caroline with some swift thinking to break it up.
Vasco Diaz: Rini is freakishly strong for her size, but she is way too trusting. You gotta expect someone to use whatever they can to break a lock they are losing.
{ Meanwhile, in the corner Itami is laying into Rosa, doubling over the larger woman with her vicious striking ability. She lays into Rosa with a flury of palm strikes before backing up a step. Itami points to her opponent in the corner before spinning around with a roundhouse kick, only for Rosa to snatch her leg right before it connects. Rosa slowly shakes her head as she rises to her full height, causing Itami to hop in place to maintain her balance. Then Rosa slams her palm into Itamiâs middle, picking up the smaller wrestler and hurling her into the ring. She slams into Caroline and Rini in the middle of the ring, sending all three women sprawling. }Terri Morasco: What power on display by Rosa DeLuca!
Vasco Diaz: Easily the strongest, and sheâs got a chip on her shoulder lately. Iâm liking it. Now follow up and show how ruthless you can be.
{Rosa slides into the group, pulling Itami off of the pile. She goes for the cover on her, but Carolina lunges forwards to break up the count to the cheers of the crowd. Rosa takes a moment, blinking in annoyance before she turns to Caroline and grabs her by the throat. She slowly rises to her feet, dragon Caroline up to her feet with her. She shouts down at Caroline for a moment before She slaps a second hand on Carolineâs throat and goes for a Ciao Bella, but Caroline reacts quickly with a chop that causes Rosa to drop her. Caroline turns to go run the ropes for an assault, but Rosa is not so dazed as the Brazilian thought, and grabs her up and throws her to the mat with a Full Nelson slam that shakes the ring. Rini has started to rise from the mat but Rosa steps over to her and grabs her and tosses her across the ring with a Tbone suplex. Rosa rolls back to her feet, shouting to the crowd who cheer for the dominant woman in the ring right now.}Vasco Diaz: Now thatâs what Iâm talking about!
Terri Morasco: Rosa DeLuca is cleaning house as she works through her opponents.
{ Rosa moves from the crowd and turns back into the ring, only to catch a spinning backfist from Itami that staggers her. The MOD recruit follows up, walking Rosa across the ring with several sharp elbow and knee strikes that stagger the taller competitor. Itami backs Rosa into the ropes and follows up with a roundhouse kick that sends Rosa spilling from the ring. Itami reacts quickly, keeping her foot on the gas as she moves to Rini who has gotten back up. The two women exchange strikes before Itami hits her with a forearm across the throat that staggers Rini, much to the displeasure of the crowd. Itami follows up the assault with another Roundhouse kick but the pretty guardian maintains her feet, if staggered. Itami follows up with several stiff chops in a combo before ending with a knee strike that staggers the smaller opponent. Itami hooks an arm around Riniâs head, yelling out to the crowd before she lifts her into the air and spikes her down with a sheer drop brainbuster. Not giving it a moment she turns to look at Caroline, who has started to rise from the mat. Itami rushes forward, hitting a sliding Lariat that floors Caroline back to the mount. Itami moves into a mount on the Brazilian, laying into her with stiff elbow shots until the official is forced to step in and pull her off. }Terri Morasco: Itami has used that ruthless instinct instilled on MOD island. But she stepped out of line there.
Vasco Diaz: How? She could still defend herself! Gregor tell that official!
{ Gregor shouts from outside the ring and Itami looks frustrated as well, but not deterred. She scoops Caroline off of the matt and whips her into the ropes. She signals for the Baku, and turns to hit the move. But Caroline recovers, leaping through the air and wipes out Ace de serviço on Itami to floor her opponent. She moves in for the cover, but Rosa has made it back into the ring and breaks the hold by hauling Caroline off of Itami. She tries to apply a chicken wing to Caroline, but the MMA fighter thinks quickly, transitioning it into a hammer lock takedown that floors Rosa. Rosa springs back to her feet, just in time for Caroline to throw her back down with a hip toss. Rosa starts to gain her feet, but Caroline wraps an arm around her head and uses the ropes to spike her opponent into the mat with a spinning DDT. }Vasco Diaz: Caroline with a flurry of offense. Now watch her break it off to ask for a hug from someone.
Terri Morasco: Come on Vasco, thatâs a world Champion we are talking about.
{ Caroline grabs hold of the ropes, yelling at the crowd to pump them up, and they cheer in response. Though their cheers grow even louder as Rini runs to the ropes and leaps up to the top, running along them before she springs off to take Caroline out with a Heart Impact that spins the woman around. She moves to cover Caroline, but then yelps as she seeâs Itami running in her direction. She rolls onto her back, pulling Caroline up to take the full impact of Itamiâs sliding knee impact. Rini springs to her feet just to fall down and hit Itami with a standing elbow drop. Itami and Rini are slow to rise, but Rini is up first and slams Itami back into the mat with a DDT that sends Itami spiking straight down into the mat. Rini leaps back to her feet and grips hold of Itamiâs arm and drags her up to her feet. She seeâs Rosa getting to her feet and uses an arm drag to whip Itami at the larger woman. Rosa staggers back and out of the way into a corner, bur Rini slaps her hip and charges in, spinning into an Oak Revolution that plants Rosa into the corner }Terri Morasco: Rini is on fire right now! The Pretty Guardian has cleared out the entire field.
Vasco Diaz: If you start sounding like Iyo I will leave. Roberto can fine me, I will not tolerate that nonsense.
{ Rini steps out of the corner, pumping the crowd up as they cheer the local wrestler. But when Rini turns around Itami springs to her feet, spinning around to floor her with a spinning Heel kick! }Vasco Diaz: A Baku from Itami! What did I say!
{ Itami turns to the prone Rini, who is laid out on the mat when Caroline springs off the ropes, hitting her with a Reverse Huricanranna that she transitions into a Kimura lock! }Terri Morasco: But here comes Caroline with Jogo, conjunto, jogo! Sheâs got the hold locked in at the center of the ring!
Vasco Diaz: No!
{ Itami struggles against the hold, but Caroline has it locked in tight. The young Brazilian leans back on the hold, screaming in Portuguese as Itame writhes to break free. The official slides across the ring, moving to check on Itami as she screams in pain. Her arm lashes out, struggling to grab at Caroline to try and get some leverage over the hold. }Terri Morasco: Itami has nowhere to go!
Vasco Diaz: Sheâs digging deep into her MOD training now to push the pain down.
{ Suddenly Rosa looms over the two women. With a shout she reaches down and plants both of her hands around Carolineâs throat. Caroline shakes her head, but Rosa with another yell bodily lifts Caroline off the mat. Itami screams louder as her arm is tweaked harder before gravity has its way with her and she drops to the mat clutching her arm. Soon after, Caroline joins her as Rosa plants her into the mat with a Ciao Bella. }Terri Morasco: What impressive power by Rosa De Luca! She nearly picked up both women just now!
Vasco Diaz: Via con dios I canât believe it.
{ Rosa DeLuca surveys the ring before leaning down to scoop the prone Rini off the mat. She holds her up with one arm while lifting the other into the air before grabbing Rini by the throat. She turns her head, spying Itami trying to will herself back to her feet. So, she lifts Rini into the air and plants her down on top of Itami with a powerful chokeslam. }Terri Morasco: Luna di Luna to Rini!
Vasco Diaz: She took out Itami with Riniâs own body!
{ Rosa drops down for the cover, pulling Riniâs legs up to stack her up onto her shoulders as the official slides in to make the three count! DARKSIDE by Neoni starts to blare from the speakers as she rolls off of Rini, pressing her hands to her eyes. }Alison Valance: Your winner, and NEW GLADIATRIX CHAMPION⌠ROSA DELUCA!
Vasco Diaz: Well I canât believe it. Rosa got lucky there in pulling out a win. She almost handed it to Caroline with that stunt she pulled.
Terri Morasco: A hard fought match by all competitors and we have crowned a new champion here tonight!
{ Rosa slowly rises to her knees, accepting the title from the ref as she wipes at her eyes, looking down at her prize as the camera zooms in before fading out. }-------------------------------
IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
HARDCORE MATCHSavage Kingdom (Black Widow and Stephen Terrella) (c) vs. Bella Morte
-------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Vasco, we turn our attention to the tag team ranks of the IWF roster now. We only have one tag team match on the card tonight; but that match also couldn't be any bigger, as we'll see Bella Morte challenging the Savage Kingdom -represented tonight by Stephen Terrella and the Black Widow- for the World Tag Team Championships!
Vasco Dias: This isn't going to be just a regular match either, Morasco. We're taking it to the extreme!
Terri Morasco: The champions have called their stipulation and, as we've seen in the past, the Black Widow and Stephen Terrella thrive in the chaos this type of environment brings. That's the champions' right. However, if there is a team that can meet them on this field without being at a disadvantage, it is Bella Morte. But Alison is ready, so let's turn it over to her for the introductions.
{The crowd in the sold-out Tokyo Dome gets a little louder as Alison Valance prepares for another announcement this evening.}Alison Valance: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall and will be contested under Hardcore rules! This match will be for the IWF World Tag Team Championships! Introducing first, the challengers...
{A high-pitched female scream causes the lights to flicker in the arena. As the rebellious yell seamlessly transitions to a soft chilling female laughter, the lights die completely. In the darkness a lone voice questions.}âNow I lay me down to sleep
Six feet down beneath concrete
If I should die before I wake
Did I make peace or a mistake?â{During this question, the entranceway fills with purple smoke. After the question, Abigail emerges from the coloured smoke alone, under a soft blue hue and to a mixed reaction. The lyrics of âAfterlifeâ by Citizen Soldier accompany her walk down the ramp. She clenches her jaw before pausing in the middle of the ramp, dropping to her knees and looking heavenward. She flings her arms out either side of her, causing more purple smoke to fill the ramp before the lights go out again briefly.}
{When they return a few moments later, just after the chorus, Eternity is stood behind Abigail in her hat, veil and sleeveless black leather trench coat. Abigail rises slowly, cracks her neck slightly and continues her journey down the ramp in the comforting shadow of death, alone no longer. Abigail walks up the steps, not to heaven, but into the ring, Eternity close behind. They move together, Eternity separates herself only to place her hat on a ring post, before reuniting in the middle of the ring.}Alison Valance: Entering the ring at a total combined weight of two hundred sixty-seven pounds, the team of Eternity and Abigail... Bella Morte!
{Once reunited, with Eternity stood firm behind her still, Abigail drops to her knees and lets out a rebellious yell heavenward as she throws her head back, looking up at Eternity, who has her head bowed down towards Abigail, eyes closed. Eternity places a hand on each of Abigailâs shoulders before she opens her eyes again. The two women now share a quiet moment gazing into each otherâs soul. Abigail breathes heavily, whilst Eternity doesnât seem to breathe at all. The music slowly fades and the lights return to normal as each woman slips off her entrance attire, standing side by side now, ready to compete.}
Terri Morasco: The challengers' calm, somber demeanor could be indicative of their mental state, Vasco. Both of these women have been on the biggest of stages many, many times. They understand the moment. They understand what it is they're being tasked with here tonight--
Vasco Dias: Morasco, understanding the assignment is a lot different than accomplishing your goal. In a few short moments, a large, angry man, and a bloodthirsty woman are going to come out from behind that curtain... and they aren't going to just handover their titles.
Terri Morasco: I'm well aware. Abigail and Eternity are no strangers to violence themselves, though. I'd say, with a pair of resumes that read as theirs' do, they're more than capable of taking those championships tonight.
{Alison raises the microphone for another introduction.}
Alison Valance: And their opponents...
{The lights are dimmed as the opening to "Angry Again" by The Volatile begins to play. Shrouded in near darkness, the Black Widow crawls out from behind the curtain, stopping on the cusp of the ramp to tilt her head with a smile. Stephen Terrella and Portia slowly walk out behind her, holding hands as they take a place a few feet behind her, making out with each other in a very over-the-top public display of affection. Looking around the arena, Brandy stays on her knees, arms extended as she arches her back in a way that her upper body falls backwards. Thirty-seven seconds into the song, just before the lyrics start, Brandy thrusts her torso upward with a jolt. Stephen and Portia look towards the ring in unison with the Black Widow. Savage By Nature begins their walk toward the ring, catching an earful from the crowd as they proceed.}The more of you that I inspect
The more of me I see reflect
The more I try to read your lips
The more the mask you're wearing rips
But when I seek out your voice
My ears are overcome with noise
You show and tell with greatest ease
Raving impossibilities
Engaged in crime I grasp my throat
Enraged my mind starts to smoke
Enforce a mental overload
Angry again, angry again, angry owe!{Both Stephen and the Black Widow time it out so that when the song begins another instrumental at the two minute and sixteen seconds mark, Brandy is sliding underneath the ropes as Stephen Terrella is pacing across the apron.}Alison Valance: Entering the ring, accompanied by Portia, weighing in at a total combined weight of 418 pounds⌠Stephen Terrella⌠and his partner, the Black Widow⌠Savage By Nature!!
{Stephen raises both arms, allowing one of the tag team championship belts to dangle from his left hand, while the Black Widow flicks her tongue at Bella Morte before slinking in a backward crawl to the Savage Kingdom corner. Portia applauds for her man from the floor before he enters the squared circle with a menacing scowl on his face. He turns, arms open, to taunt the crowd, before spitting in their general direction. The Black Widow undoes the title belt around her waist while she is on her knees, popping up once she gets it unfastened. The Widow tosses her title onto the canvas, in the center of the ring, smiling as she invites Bella Morte to go for the belt. The song fades as the Black Widow and Terrella keep eyes on Bella Morte.}
Terri Morasco: The Black Widow trying to bait Bella Morte, which they're going to be too smart to fall for. I think she knows they're going to be too smart to fall for it, too.
Vasco Dias: The Black Widow's mind works in mysterious ways, Morasco. But so does Eternity's. We've got a game of mental poker going on before the bell has rung, everyone has their chips pushed to the center, and the only person showing their hand is Terrella- and his hand says "destroy."
{The referee for this contest, Tommy Knocker, retrieves the Black Widow's belt off the canvas before collecting Terrella's belt from him. Alison Valance, having already exited the ring, passes through the shot on the outside of the ring as she heads to her seat at ringside. The two teams remain focused on each other. The official signals for the opening bell.}
Ding!
{Eternity cups her mouth with her hand as she whispers something in Abigail's ear. Neither team comes hard out of their respective corners, exercising a bit of caution in the early going.}Terri Morasco: Hardcore rules in this one, so neither team is forced to tag in and out, as there is no threat of disqualification.
Vasco Dias: This was the easiest assignment of the night, if you're a referee. All you have to do is count pinfalls and listen for submissions, which is right up Tommy's alley, Morasco.
Terri Morasco: Terrella and the Black Widow are coming out of their corner, moving toward those neutral corners as they appear to be seeking to pin their challengers in their own corner. Eternity and Abigail are standing back-to-back on defense.
Vasco Dias: Here we go!
{The Black Widow rushes Abigail; but is met with a closed fist to the mouth on the advance. Eternity moves to meet Terrella as he closes the gap, taking the fight to the much larger man with some rapid-fire clubbing shots to his chest. Abigail takes two handfuls of the Black Widow's hair and rams her face first into the closest turnbuckle, following up with a boot to Cvetkova's midsection to keep her in the corner. Eternity spins, looking for a Decapitation (Discus Clothesline) on Terrella! She lands, staggering him! Terrella shakes his head, clearly rocked; but the three hundred plus pounder manages to keep a vertical base. Abigail brings the Black Widow out of the corner with the Southern Storm (Three Successive Knee Strikes to the gut while she had her trapped, followed closely by a Hairmare & Dropkick Combo), forcing the Widow to roll out of the ring for sanctuary. Meanwhile, Eternity strikes at Terrella with a few more clubbing blows to the chest. Eternity grabs Terrella by the wrist, looking for an Irish whip; however, Terrella puts the brakes on that. He reverses on her, sending her into the ropes. Terrella ducks his head, allowing Eternity to catch him with a Dead Stop (Facebreaker Knee Smash)! Terrella waves his arms in circles, trying to keep his balance as he shakes his head. Abigail turns Terrella, delivering a headbutt straight to his jaw that lands so hard that she grabs her own head. That move buys time for Eternity to hit Terrella with Deathâs Kiss (Handspring Stunner) to take the big man off his feet! Portia paces the outside, yelling for the crowd to shut up as her man is lying flat on his back on the canvas! Bella Morte begin to try to stomp Terrella into the mat.}Terri Morasco: Bella Morte have toppled the behemoth! Now they're looking to ensure he stays down!
Vasco Dias: Terrella is being assaulted! He might be down there asking himself if he stumbled into the wrong part of the Shinjuku Ward right about now!
Terri Morasco: The Black Widow with a chair shot to the back of Eternity! That crack echoed throughout this historic arena! She rams the edge of that chair into the stomach of Abigail now, taking the wind out of The Archangel! The Black Widow dropping that chair... and driving Abigail's head into it with a Double Underhook DDT!
Vasco Dias: They say you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet; but Abigail just had her brains scrambled, Morasco!
{Eternity looks to save her twin flame, Abigail; but Terrella grabs her foot from his position on the canvas. She fights to shake his grip, allowing the Black Widow time to blast Eternity in the mouth with a pump kick! Portia applauds for her team on the outside before turning to the crowd and yelling: "Who's on top now?" Terrella gets back to his feet and the champions regroup. Stephen reaches down, hooking his fingers into Eternity's mouth and nostril for a fishhook, and pulls her up to her feet. Terrella restrains Eternity's arms, rendering her completely vulnerable. Cvetkova decks Eternity with a hard right hand as Terrella keeps her upright. The Black Widow hauls off with another hard shot to Eternity's jaw. After licking Eternity's cheek, the Black Widow motions for Terrella to let her go. Abigail starts to come to, only to have to witness the Black Widow execute a Pumphandle Driver on Eternity. The Black Widow holds on for a cover. Tommy Knocker slides into position for a count.}

No!!!
{As Abigail was crawling to help her partner, Eternity kicks out of the pinfall under her own power! Terrella stands over Abigail, hammering her with crossface style punches to the face and head! Terrella calls for Portia to get another chair. Always willing to lend her team an assist, Portia chases Alison Valance from her seat to steal it. Terrella and the Black Widow work together, bringing Abigail up and tying her arms up in the top and middle rope. Portia slides the other chair in. After delivering a few boots to Eternity, the Black Widow brings Eternity to her feet. Terrella sets the chair the Black Widow brought into the ring earlier up against the one Portia slid in, so the seats butt up against each other. Abigail struggles against the ropes to free herself, her temper clearly boiling. Stephen places Eternity's head between his legs, giving Abigail the middle finger, before hoisting Eternity up and powerbombing her through the chairs!}
Terri Morasco: My gosh, the impact! Eternity's body bent those steel chairs on her landing!
Vasco Dias: They might be able to pin her right now, Morasco; but they're forcing Abigail to watch this!
Terri Morasco: The Black Widow biting the forehead of Abigail now, without any type of count in a hardcore match! Terrella is throwing what is left of the damn chairs out of the ring. The Black Widow rolling to the outside now as Abigail tries to kick at her.
{The Black Widow lifts the skirting, reaching under the ring to retrieve a very familiar black cloth bag. She holds it up in the air, dangling it back and forth with a twisted smile before bringing it back inside of the ring with her. Terrella holds Eternity up by her hair as the Mistress of Mayhem dumps the bag out on the canvas, littering the mat with shards of broken glass! The introduction of the glass draws a small pop from the crowd. The Black Widow smiles at Abigail. Terrella passes Eternity off to the Black Widow, who grabs her head, runs toward Abigail, springboards off her, driving Eternity face-first into the broken glass with a springboard bulldog! However, the push off on the springboard inadvertently frees Abigail! While the Black Widow and Eternity are laying in the glass, Abigail rushes out in a rage, swiftly ending any ideas Terrella would have had at stopping her with a kick straight into Terrella's manhood! His expression dramatically changes as pain surges through his body. Before he can even fall to his knees, Abigail delivers a Faithbreaker (Codebreaker)! She doesn't even try for a pin, however. Getting up at nearly the same time as the Black Widow, a seething Abigail locks eyes with the Black Widow!}
Terri Morasco: Abigail looks possessed! She has that temper, Vasco! There was a time the Black Widow said she wanted this! Careful what you wish for, honey, because you are going to get it!
Vasco Dias: If I'm in the Black Widow's boots, I'm running for the back right now!
{Not one to back down, the Black Widow charges Abigail at the very same time that Abigail is charging her! In a scene reminiscent of the first time that they ever shared a ring as opponents, they both start unloading on each other with rapid fire right hands! Twenty some shots are thrown between them, not a one of them blocked again, only this time, fueled by her rage, Abigail starts dominating the exchange! She grabs Cvetkova by her hair, throwing her into the corner upside down! The Black Widow doesn't get a moment to breathe. Abigail snatches her up, throwing her over the top rope, landing Cvetkova on the floor hard! The Black Widow tries to get her bearings, crawling for something -anything- to stop the onslaught. She cannot find it; Abigail goes down out of the ring after her, grabbing the Black Widow by the hair again, violently tossing her into the steel security railing! The Widow lands upside down, head-first on the floor! Abigail starts to stomp a mudhole in Brandy before snatching two huge handfuls of hair again and furiously tossing her into the steel security railing on another side!}Terri Morasco: Abigail has lost it! She's bringing the Black Widow this way!
Vasco Dias: Time for me to go, Morasco!
{Abigail bounces Cvetkova's face off the announce table as Vasco and Terri look for refuge. After grabbing a monitor to use as a weapon, Abigail nails the Black Widow square in the face with it! She tosses the monitor away so she can clear the surface of the table off. Portia watches from a corner, wanting to interfere; but wisely for her own health, hanging back. Abigail reaches down, lifting the Black Widow to her feet. Cvetkova has blood streaming down the left side of her face from where the monitor struck her. Never one to shy away from violence, Abigail drives the Black Widow's body through the announcers' table with a punishing thrust spinebuster to a gigantic pop from the crowd!}Terri Morasco: Abigail has completely decimated the Black Widow, Vasco! The Widow's broken body is laying in what's left of what
used to be our announce table!
Vasco Dias: Terrella may be wrestling the rest of this match by himself, Morasco! The Black Widow has a notoriously high tolerance for pain; but Abigail just damn near killed her!
{Back up inside of the squared circle, both Eternity and Terrella have started to stir. Blood trickling down her face and arm from being driven into the glass earlier by the Black Widow, Eternity crawls out of the glass. Terrella pushes up to a knee, his sights set on Abigail. However, he feels Eternity's hand hook him by his belt. Abigail makes a brief pitstop on her way back to the ring, reaching under it to pull out a large box of fluorescent light tubes. She lifts it up onto the apron, sliding it under the bottom rope. In the ring, Terrella takes a big swing at Eternity that she ducks. Eternity stomps on the top of Terrella's left foot, hobbling him. He takes another swing that she manages to duck, and this time she stomps down on his right foot. Terrella turns around, only to be struck over the head with a light tube by Abigail! The tube explodes into a thousand pieces! Abigail reaches into the box, pulling out two more lights. She hands one to Eternity, with Abigail keeping the other. Eternity smashes her tube over Terrella's head, and then Abigail follows suit! He drops to his knees before the girls, blood pouring down his face. They go back into the box, hitting him over the head and shoulders with tube-after-tube, turning his head and upper body into a bloody mess! As the boxes is taken down to its last tube, Terrella falls face first onto the crimson stained canvas! Eternity skips around Terrella's fallen body before breaking the last tube over his back! Eternity and Abigail work to roll Terrella over. Eternity makes a cover! The referee slides into position for a count!...}

{Somehow, Terrella shoves Eternity off him just before the count of three for the kick out! Bella Morte work to bring Terrella the rest of the way to his feet, as he was already trying to get up. Eternity strikes first, hitting Stephen with the Tears Of Sorrow (Side Effect)! Abigail follows that offense with a Sole Survivor (Surfboard Facecrusher), smashing Terrella's bloody face into the canvas! Eternity keeps the offense coming with a Ligature Mark (Legdrop Across the Throat) on Terrella! Abigail goes for the cover this time, looking to secure the championships for Bella Morte! Tommy Knocker takes the long way around to position himself for a count!...}

{Terrella kicks out again, with less authority than he had shoved Eternity off of him moments before! Portia breathes a huge sigh of relief on the outside. Eternity and Abigail dish out a few kicks and stomps, trying to keep Terrella in a weakened state. They bring him up to back him against the ropes, shooting him off. Portia takes the opportunity to reach in, grabbing Eternity's ankle. Both members of Bella Morte stop. With blood pouring down his face, Terrella lunges, looking for a spear on Eternity; but Abigail shoves her partner out of the way, taking the bullet for Eternity when Terrella crashes into her midsection with a spear!}
Terri Morasco: Abigail just sacrificed herself to save Eternity! Terrella nearly cut her in half with that spear!
Vasco Dias: Terrella isn't fast; but he gets a ton of explosion on that move, Morasco. Getting hit by that move is like being hit by a small car!
{Eternity manages to get the three-hundred-pound Terrella up to execute a Sole Beneficiary (Pendulum Backbreaker). Taking a moment, Eternity quickly checks on Abigail. Before she can turn her attention back on Terrella, she catches a glimpse of the Black Widow dragging herself back into the ring. "The Last Diamond" looks to put a halt to that. She wraps a hand around the Black Widow's throat, looking for the Final Destination (Chokeslam Backbreaker)! Cvetkova counters, bringing her hands down on Eternity's elbow to break her grip, allowing the Black Widow to spew her black mist into the face of Eternity! Almost instinctively, the Black Widow pulls Eternity into a short-arm clothesline, leaving all four competitors down in the ring!}Terri Morasco: The violence and physicality of this match has taken its toll on everyone involved, Vasco.
Vasco Dias: This has been a war, Morasco. This has been an absolute war.
{There is some support in the crowd for Bella Morte has almost a minute pass with everyone still down. Abigail is the first competitor to begin to make it to her feet, aided by the ropes. Terrella, suffering from a lot of blood loss, tries to push himself up to meet her. Abigail throws a fist into the side of Terrella's head, drawing a smattering of cheers! Terrella answers with a left-handed shot to Abigail's body that brings her feet up off the canvas on impact. Eternity and the Black Widow start to stir behind them, holding onto each other as they try to get up. Eternity wipes the mist from her eyes as best she can. They go forehead-to-forehead, grinning at each other through blood-stained faces, with Eternity still wearing some of the remnants of the mist on her face as well. While Abigail and Terrella trade punches, the Black Widow and Eternity begin to trade headbutts! Stephen goes to Abigail's eyes, jamming both thumbs in her eye sockets as he bends her backwards over the top rope. Portia takes off one of her shoes and tosses it up to Terrella. With Abigail temporarily blinded, Terrella spikes her right between the eyes with the point of the heel so hard that he falls down with her in the process!}Terri Morasco: Portia involving herself again!
Vasco Dias: Technically, in her defense, she didn't involve herself, Morasco- just her shoe. In a hardcore match, a shoe is as legal as anything else.
Terri Morasco: Are you her lawyer now?! The point of that heel has drawn blood from Abigail's head, and Portia is to blame!
{Eternity and the Black Widow, still trading headbutts, have both started to buckle at the knees at points as they continue to push themselves beyond what a human skull should be able to absorb. The Black Widow cracks first, biting the nose of Eternity to escape the stand-off. She clamps down long and hard before releasing, immediately spitting out the taste. She looks at Eternity with a bit of apprehension, almost as if the taste had been rotten. The momentary pause creates an opening for Eternity to bite her back on the nose, and the psychologically imbalanced Eternity has no qualms about clamping down with her teeth for just as long. Eternity spits out a mouthful of the Widow's blood with a smile. Her eyes off the entire picture, Eternity misses Terrella charging in from behind to level her with a shot to the back of the head. Terrella picks the much smaller Eternity up with ease, motioning for the Black Widow to go up top. Something about Eternity has created a sense of unease within the Black Widow, though. Terrella yells for Cvetkova to: "come on!" With some reluctance, the Black Widow goes to the top rope. Terrella hits Eternity with a pendulum backbreaker and holds her over his knee, setting up for a patented Savage By Nature double team... but Eternity's eyes open wide, her head turning to look directly at the Black Widow! The normally sure-footed Black Widow slips, tumbling off the turnbuckles, all the way down to the floor! She lands holding her right ankle. Terrella dumps Eternity off, having not even noticed the look she gave his partner before the fall.}Vasco Dias: I don't think we've ever seen the Black Widow lose her balance on the ropes, Morasco!
Terri Morasco: She looks like she might've hurt her ankle on the fall, too! Portia and Terrella are both trying to see what is going on...
{Realizing a match is still going, Terrella turns back around. Only Abigail has recovered enough to meet him with a dropkick, knocking him backward against the ropes. The bounce in the ropes pushes Terrella off, right into the waiting Eternity, who delivers a Dead Stop (Facebreaker Knee Smash) to disorient Terrella, who then bounces and is spun haplessly from the impact right into The Last Prayer (Riptide) from Abigail. The crowd lets out a massive pop for Abigail being able to get the three-hundred-plus pound Terrella up, even if she couldn't get her normal lift on the move. Wanting to finish it, Eternity works to get an almost limp Terrella up, only to deliver "The Last Rites" (Pedigree)! Eternity makes a cover, and Abigail sits on Eternity's back to add to the pile. Tommy Knocker slides into position for a count!...}

{âAfterlifeâ by Citizen Soldier hits as Bella Morte comes up off the cover.}Alison Valance: Your winners and
NEW IWF World Tag Team Champions, the team of Eternity and Abigail... Bella Morte!!!
{Portia crawls into the ring to check on the bloodied and beaten Stephen Terrella as Tommy Knocker hands the championship belts to Eternity and Abigail. The official raises both women's arms in victory as some in the crowd cheer. After releasing their arms, the official bows out of the way. Eternity and Abigail touch their bloody foreheads together as the hold the championships at their sides.}Terri Morasco: We have new World Tag Team Champions, Vasco! Bella Morte has beaten the Savage Kingdom tonight at Legacy!
Vasco Dias: I can't take anything away from them; but I'd venture a guess they haven't seen the last of the Savage Kingdom, Morasco.
{Eternity and Abigail embrace each other in the ring.}-------------------------------
JOKER IN THE PACK
LADDER MATCHAllen Chaney vs Roberto Verona
-------------------------------
Terri Morasco: What an evening so far⌠and its about to get even more violent.
Vasco Dias: Iâve been looking forward to this, finally Allen Chaney is going to get his comeuppance!
Terri Morasco: The CEO of IWF Roberto Verona is ready to take on Allen Chaney for the Joker in the Pack, there is not love lost between these two⌠but who will walk away with the biggest ticket to the top in IWF?
{ âShimmy Shimmy Yaâ by Ol Dirty Bastard starts to play but is interrupted by a record scratch and the tron goes dark briefly. Soon the video picks back up to show the sun rising in two places. Tokyo and Arrowhead Stadium. As soon as the sun has fully ascended over Arrowhead âMidwest Choppersâ by Tech N9ne begins playing.
âWelcome to misery, punk!â
Allen Chaney emerges wearing brand new red, yellow, and white gear. He has matching spiked football shoulder pads and black lines painted under his eyes
âWe deep rooted in this, y'all hear what I'm sayin'?
KCMO! KCK!
Yerm sayin'? It's how we do it
Tech N9ne in this piece
Strange Music represent! What!?â
Allen plays to the crowd on the stage for a bit before stopping in the middle, slamming his hands down on the ramp, and coming back up with a roar.
âWelcome to Missouri where the killers pop it off
And when I say pop it off I mean
Deadly with the tongue or the gun
We can do it if anybody want it, rather rapping
Or get to clapping up another, tell everyone
Misery Loves Kompany
so we dump at thee
Enemy when it be energy sendinâ me the route
Of negativity, trippin' with me, you runnin' for your life
'Cause you ran your mouth (Mouth)â
Allen makes his way down the ramp, playing up heavily to the crowd.
âWe can sang or we can bang
It ainât no game we untamed
Whether itâs fame or we can aim
Release your brains it ainât no thang
(Midwest Choppers)
Yer'm sayin', we livin' in pain
And itâs a shame that you
Came and got drained and listen
Man, stay in your lane
(Midwest Choppers)â x2
Allen hops up on the apron and climbs between the ropes, blowing a kiss to Vasco Dias on commentary while taking off the shoulder pads before he sets his sights on his current goal hanging above the ring. }Terri Morasco: Looks like youâve made a friendâŚ
Vasco Dias: He can kiss my ass, who does this punk think he is?
Terri Morasco: Some would say he is the rightful Joker in the Pack.
Vasco Dias: Some people are idiots.
{ âKing of the Worldâ erupts from the speakers as the arena is filled with noise as the CEO of IWF Roberto Verona emerges dressed in a white suit with a golden tie and a golden laurel resting on his head. Moments after he appears he is followed by his Legion who ominously file out alongside him onto the stage. Verona looks down the ramp at Allen with disdain in his eyes as he begins his march to the ring, flanked on either side by seemingly endless members of his Legion. Roberto stares at the members of the crowd with scorn as they make their own feelings known before he reaches the ringside where he hops up onto the apron. He holds onto the rope as he marches towards the middle before turning and looking around the arena, his arms extended out wide as he basks in the noise rolling around the Tokyo Dome. After a few moment he passes his golden laurel to a nearby Legion member before climbing into the ring where he finally stands across the mat from his adversary Chaney. }Vasco Dias: Finally, an actual competitor worthy of admiration.
Terri Morasco: Regardless of what Chaney thinks of him, Verona is a seasoned competitor and will not be giving up easily tonight.
Vasco Dias: Allen was stupid enough to pick a fight with a Hall of Famer and the most calculating man in the business, I think we both know how this match is going.
{ As the music dissipates it is replaced with the huge roar of the crowd who absolutely fill the arena with noise as Verona and Chaney stare one another down, the Joker in the Pack briefcase swaying above them as the camera pans out. Verona hands his jacket to the official who passes it outside the ring. Neither man breaks their focus on the other as the anticipation builds before the sound reaches fever pitch. Suddenly the bell rings and the pair lunge forward as they begin to land fist on one another the crowd erupts. Neither man is able to gain the upperhand but it appear that they donât particularly care as Chaney finally gets his chance to swing fists at the boss, who returns blows with equal disdain. Punch after punch lands as the match remains finely balance in these opening stages with neither man willing to back down. }Terri Morasco: Chaney wasting no time to finally get his hands on the man whose tormented him for months!
Vasco Dias: But as usual he canât do enough to take control, kick his ass boss!
Terri Morasco: Another evening of fantastically unbiased announcing I take it?
Vasco Dias: Allen Chaney doesnât write my paycheques⌠or exude class.
{ Chaney throws another right which seems to have Verona rocking but when he tries to take advantage of the opportunity by throwing a clothesline, the boss ducks underneath and lands a blow to Allenâs gut taking the wind out of him. Sensing he has a chance to take charge Verona drives an elbow into the back of Allenâs skull which rattles his head. Moving swiftly, Verona grabs Chaney and plants him with a DDT before he grabs Allen and begins to land a series of knee drives into his rib cage before the official intervenes. Roberto stands up and complies, seemingly making a point about respecting the officials⌠before turning and planting a boot right into the face of Chaney who attempted to pick himself up, sending him rolling across the ring. As Allen sits himself in the corner Verona wastes no time before he charges forward and drives a big knee right into his opponents skull, taking charge of this match. }Vasco Dias: Ruthless efficiency on display and respect for the officials⌠Allen could learn a thing or two.
Terri Morasco: I canât deny it, Verona is a master inside the ring, but this is still very early.
Vasco Dias: Start as you mean to go on, Morasco.
{ Roberto drags Allen out of the corner and applies a headlock, looking to choke the wind out of his foe for as long as he can to keep him grounded. Satisfied that he has the advantage he lets go and drops a few standing elbow drops into the ribs again of Allen, clearly targeting an area to gradually exploit. Verona stands up and the crowd begins to go, the CEO smiles as he stalks his prey and waste little time, tearing him off the mat to plant him with a German suplexâŚ. Followed by another⌠and another! Finally, Verona lets go and in a display of athleticism, he kips himself up and stands with his arms out stretched⌠to the begrudging respect of the capacity crowd who start a âYouâve still got itâ chant. }Vasco Dias: Finally these ingrates are recognising greatness!
Terri Morasco: I think youâd have to be a fool to doubt Veronaâs ability, heâs also well rested from the weekly grind these days and heâs still a young man. You donât just lose that ability which got him where he is over night.
Vasco Dias: Thatâs the nicest thing youâve ever said about him. Are you trying to earn a bonus?
{ Verona leans over the ropes and seems to ask one of the members of Legion to retrieve something for him and they promptly lift up the ring apron and pull out a kendo stick, handing it to their boss through the ropes. Verona raises the weapon over his head and begins to taunt Chaney, although itâs not entirely clear what heâs saying it is obviously⌠less than pleasant. As Allen begins to crawl and pick himself up, Verona cracks down across his back, causing Chaney to yell in pain. Verona smiles as he begins to land blow after blow into the rib cage of his opponent again, wearing down and increasingly weak spot on his opponent who tries desperately to crawl away. Eventually the stick snaps, much to Veronaâs disappointment, as he tosses it outside of the ring. Allen finally finds some refuge in the corner as he lifts himself up as best he can. Roberto charges towards him, aiming a spear to his sore midriff⌠but Chaney spots this and drops down which sends Verona flying right into the ringpost! Chaney takes this opportunity to hold his ribs and take a breather as Roberto remains hung up in the ropes. }Terri Morasco: A wise move by an increasingly savvy fighter! Chaney may have found a way back into this match which was increasingly getting away from him.
Vasco Dias: Somebody check on the boss, he could be hurt!
Terri Morasco: You do understand heâs in a professional fight, right?
{ Allen heaves, doing all he can to get some air back into his lungs as he uses the ropes to lift himself up. Seeing that he has a chance to gain some momentum back he plants a kick right into the ribcage of Verona who is still hanging in the ropes. He lands a few more to the delight of the crowd before he pulls him out and plants him with a running bulldog. As Verona tries to get up he is put down again with a swinging neckbreaker and despite another attempt to get back up he soon eats a big dropkick to the jaw which sends him right back down. Allen hits the ropes and as he comes back he leaps up and lands a Lou Thesz press on the boss, raining down a flurry of fists into the boss. Eventually the referee intervenes and eventually has to grab Allenâs arm to attempt to make him stop, causing the pair to get into an argument as Chaneyâs frustrations threaten to boil over. }Vasco Dias: Get him off of him, the thug!
Terri Morasco: Allen needs to be careful here, he canât allow his focus to shift away from his opponent.
Vasco Dias: Iâll be calling 9-1-1 shortly.
{ As Allen continues to argue Roberto seeâs his chance and he lands a sickening elbow right into Allenâs targeted ribcage. Chaney yelps in pain but before he can return fire he receives another elbow right into the ribs which forces him off Verona who rolls to a safer distance. As Chaney is knelt in front of him Verona charges forward and lands a pinpoint knee right to the jaw which sends Chaney rolling across the ring. Roberto senses a chance to get back in charge but Allen is smart enough to roll out of the ring, landing on the apron where he does his best to protect his ribcage. The Legion members step towards Chaney but Verona calls them off as they begin to slowly step back. Roberto climbs out of another side of the ring and with a burst of pace charge around, stepping up onto the steel ring steps where he leaps into the air, hitting Allen with a dropkick that sends him barrelling across the ringside area. }Terri Morasco: Allen is going to have to find a way to protect his midsection if he wants to stay in with a chance this evening.
Vasco Dias: What a display of athleticism from the apex athlete in this match.
Terri Morasco: And it seems heâs eager to do the job himself this evening.
{ Roberto takes a moment to shake off the blows to his head as Chaney crawls around one corner of the ring. Verona finally begins to walk after him but as he turns the corner in pursuit and lean down to grab Allen⌠he eats a face of kendo stick! Allen managed to stick his hand under the apron and grab the first inanimate object he could and in one firm swing he connects with the temple of Verona! Roberto clutches the side of his head in apparent shock of the blow as Chaney lifts himself up, taking off after him in pursuit. Allen lands blow after blow after the back of Verona who arches in pain, using the ring as best he can to keep himself upright before heâs finally cornered against the ring steps. Allen raises up the stick and begins to land blow after blow into Verona whose gradually ground down to a seated position up against the steps. Chaney senses a chance here as he takes some steps back and flies through the air with a running senton which sends both men into the unforgiving steel of the steps! The crowd pops as Verona slumps to the mats and Allen writhes in agony as his targeted ribs seem to have taken some of the blow. }
Terri Morasco: Did you hear the sound Allenâs body just made when it connected with Verona and the steps!?
Vasco Dias: That idiot may have done more damage to himself than his opponent!
Terri Morasco: Sometimes you have to take big risks to land big blows, Vasco.
{ Neither man appears to be moving much, except Chaney who is rolling back and forth and kicking the floor in an attempt to divert his bodies pain receptors focus away from his rib cage. Allen finally begins to use the wreckage of the steps to pick himself up as Verona slowly stirs and begins to crawl away. Chaney picks himself up and smiles as he holds onto his ribs, clearly beginning to enjoy the pain he is getting to inflict even if it comes at the expense of his own. Chaney grins as he mocks the Legion members who stand still as per their orders as he begins to hobble towards the boss who is gradually crawling along. Chaney lands a huge boot right into the gut of Verona who is sent rolling across the mat, then another and another. Allen talks a little smack, reminding Roberto of his refusal to back down. As he does so he grabs Verona and plants him with a big gutwrench suplex that sends him thudding into the mats and almost under the ring apron. Allen is clearly beginning to enjoy himself here. }
Vasco Dias: Somebody needs to do something about this ingrate.
Terri Morasco: Again, this is a fight, Vasco, whatever you can say about him Verona knew what he was getting himself into.
Vasco Dias: This is assault.
{ Allen leans down to grab Roberto but as he tries to drag him out Verona grabs onto part of the ring structure at the last second. Eventually the pair engage in a tug of war as Allen tries to get Verona back where he can cause some damage, but the boss is clinging on. Realising the futility of the situation, Allen drops Verona and instead plants a kick into him which forces him to let go. Trying again he grabs Verona who desperately claws for any object he can get a hold of and as he is pulled outâŚ. Verona is lying right on top of a ladder! Verona looks down and then up, realising he is now out from under the apron and in a vulnerable spot. Chaney grins as he looks down, realising he has a huge opportunity. Wasting no time at all he leaps up and crashes down into Verona with a standing somersault leg drop! Roberto is sandwiched brutally between Chaney and the ladder which rattles with the impact. Verona winces in pain as Chaney picks himself up and seems to have a strut in his step. Sensing a chance to up the violence, Chaney drags the ladder and props it up against the barricade protecting the match officials, with Verona still laying on it. He takes a few steps back and eyes up the boss before he comes barrelling forward with an attempted splash⌠but nobody is home! Verona manages to rolls off at the last second and Allen eats a face full of metal as the ladder bounces under the impact and off the precarious balancing spot as Chaney is sent crashing to the mat below. }Terri Morasco: Jesus, did you hear the sound of that impact!?
Vasco Dias: Thankfully Verona had that scouted, he could have been seriously injured!
Terri Morasco: Allen was finding a means of getting increasingly on top in this match and this could be the opening Verona needed.
{ Roberto sits up against a ring post collecting himself as best he can as Chaney rolls around in pain. Using the post to pull himself up Roberto rolls back into the ring and takes his time to get a moment to recover before picking himself up fully. Verona shakes off the cobwebs as he beckons for a number of the Legion to join him in the ring. Verona begins to give them instructions as the crowd boo, though we cannot hear them. The members walk over to ropes⌠but stop, standing flanked across from each other as Roberto takes a few steps to the other side of the ring. Outside, Allen is beginning to pick himself up and as if he senses this is his cue, Verona comes charging towards the middle of his lines of Legion members. In one swift move Verona leaps and catching his momentum with military precision the Legion bend a knee with perfect timing and then rise together catching themselves just under Roberto. Allen looks up at the last second to see the elevated body of Verona who has been lifted even higher up over the top and into the airâŚ. Where he comes splashing down into Chaney whose knees buckle completely as they pair are sent crashing into the area between the announce table and the officials zone! Lightbulbs flash as Verona land an inch perfect splash⌠with a huge assist from the Legion who sent him flying even higher into the air! }
Vasco Dias: Iâm going to sue him, Chaney almost knocked me over!?
Terri Morasco: Look at the elevation that Legion got on that splash for Verona, he just came crashing down on Chaney from a tremendous height!
Vasco Dias: Somebody call my legal team!
{ The crowd is going absolutely wild as neither man is looking in fantastic shape. Chaney is lost under a pile of cables and other various debris as Verona still took a lot of damage from the high risk venture, but finally he picks himself up, clearly not quite right. He staggers over to the announce table and leans on it to catch himself for a moment, looking up to Vasco who he grins at. Using the table as leverage he moves over to Chaney who he grabs and lifts up, pulling him out into the ringside area. He looks behind him to check for any obstructions before he plants Chaney with a vicious snap suplex. Chaney arches his back in pain as Verona lifts himself up and begins to land boot after boot into his opponent who does his best to move away but is unable to avoid becoming a victim to repeated blows. Roberto finally stops as Chaney crawls over to the side of the announce table and uses it to prop himself up as Verona seems to go looking for a steel chair which he retrieves and walks back over to Allen. }Vasco Dias: Crack his head open!
Terri Morasco: Now whose calling for violence?
Vasco Dias: That monster almost spilled my coffee, Morasco! He deserves it.
{ Verona looks at the chair and smiles as he looks at the audience who are about as hostile as youâd expect. He smacks it on top of the announce table in an almost mocking âtestingâ of the chair as Allen clutches his midriff in pain. Eventually he walks over to Chaney and raises the chair above his head and he swings⌠but Chaney rolls out of the way! Allen just moved with milliseconds to spare before he had he head cracked against the table. Verona has to stop the chair rebounding back towards him as he turns to avoid momentum swinging his way which gives Allen that moment of respite he desperately needed. Allen groggily lifts himself up and manages to duck before another swing from Verona. Roberto almost stumbles which allows Allen to fully pick himself up as Verona wisely decided to toss the chair into the ring for now. Both men lunge at each other and begin to trade blows to the excitement of the crowd as they try to ensure they grasp hold of momentum here. }Vasco Dias: Hit him harder!
Terri Morasco: Itâs breaking down again tonight, who can claim the upper hand!?
Vasco Dias: Chaney needs to learn to stay down!
{ Verona swings for Chaney who manages to duck under the attempts right hook and he uses his position to lift upwards and gradually pick Verona up onto his shoulders. Roberto is taken off guard by the shift in his balance as heâs hoisted onto Chaney⌠who hits him with the Go to Bronson! Verona lands onto the mats with a sickening thud as Allen picks himself up, immediately going under the ring apron to retrieve some tables! The crowd goes wild as its wills Chaney on as he sets two up side by side, before carefully lifting Verona up before placing him on top. Chaney grabs a nearby ladder and sets it up next to the hastily constructed structure before he begins to climb as the audience gets louder and louder before he reaches the summit. Chaney looks around the arena and drinks in the adoration of the audience as he points down to the prone Verona who lays flat on his back and barely moving. }Terri Morasco: Chaney is climbing up high and looking to risk it all! He simply cannot resist a table!
Vasco Dias: He could cause serious property damage right here!
Terri Morasco: I question your priorities sometimesâŚ
{ Allen crosses himself as he steadies his body one last time atop the ladder before he comes crashing down with a Senton Splash⌠but wait!? Members of Legion grab Verona just at the last second and yank him from the table as Chaney goes crashing down hard! Allen smashes through the tables with a sickening crunch as he hits the mat and sends debris scattering everywhere, dear lord heâs broken himself in half! Verona barely knows where he is but as he looks to see Chaney crumpled in a heap of rubble the relief on his face is immediately apparent. }Terri Morasco: Allen just risked it all but nobody was home! Thereâs pieces of table all over ringside!
Vasco Dias: Iâm glad heâs ok
Terri Morasco: I donât thinkâŚ
Vasco Dias: Iâm not talking about Allen.
{ The Legion members lift Verona up who looks at the carnage left by Chaney and takes a moment to collect his thoughts. He turns to the Legion members stood next to him and begins to provide some orders, pointing back towards the announce table. They lean down and pick Chaney up who is half out of it and begin to drag him around towards the announce table. A couple let go and begin to deconstruct the top and remove monitors before they return to help hoist Allen up onto the table itself, draping him over it. Roberto, seemingly satisfied with their work, rolls into the ring and takes a moment to get some breath back into him. He looks around the arena as he begins to climb one of the turnbuckles as the noise gets louder and louder and he looks down at Chaney who lays vulnerable on the announce table. }Vasco Dias: Get this trash off my notes!
Terri Morasco: Vasco, we need to moveâŚ
Vasco Dias: Wait⌠what?
{ Chaney lays prone on the announce table as Vasco and Terri both stand way away from the table. Roberto shares on last look down at his opponent before he leaps from the top turnbuckle and comes crashing down with a big elbow which sends Allen and himself crashing down through the table which shatters under the force of the impact! The crowd goes nuts as both men are left in a broken pile of materials as officials do their best to check on the pair of them. }
Vasco Dias: My coffee!
Terri Morasco: Verona just threw caution to the wind to send Chaney right through our table!
Vasco Dias: Do you think my phone is ok!?
{ The crowd continues to blow the roof off as officials try desperately to check on both participants but as they do so, Legion members move into move Verona away themselves. Roberto is half dazed himself as he is dragged away but appears to be in better shape than Chaney who has taken the brunt of the damage. Medics continue to work on Chaney who is yet to move as Verona begins to recover, though he isnât in amazing shape either. Finally, he begins to convene with the Legion and barks out instructions. Moving swiftly they start to pull out tables from under the ring and bring them around to the bottom of the long ramp, setting them up firstly side by side and then tacking another row on top. Verona leans against the ring as he directs them before request that they slide a ladder into the ring itself. Roberto rolls back in and begins to place the ladder beneath the briefcase, taking great care to line it up just right before he gets back out of the ring and makes his way back to the announce area. }Vasco Dias: Finally, somebody is here to recycle this garbage.
Terri Morasco: Youâre officially Chaneyâs number one hater, I swear.
Vasco Dias: Founding member and proud.
{ Roberto begins to push people aside as he grabs Chaney himself, lifting him up and walking him over to the ring, rolling him in. Verona seems to have a second wind as he climbs in after him and begins to land a few boots for good measure. Roberto lifts Chaney up and yanks him towards him, driving a knee into his ribs, landing another blow and knocking the wind out of him. He wraps an arm around Allenâs neck and leaps up planting him with a Brainwasher DDT! Roberto winces as he clearly is feeling the effects of the match himself and this prevents him from being able to capitalise as effectively as he did earlier. He walks across the ring and lines Chaney up, willing him up to his feet. Allen is doing his best to lift himself up, using the ropes for leverage and when he finally gets up almost fully Verona charges⌠but Chaney drops, pulling the rope down with him! Verona goes barrelling over the top rope and hits the mats below! }Terri Morasco: Allen just bought himself time here, very valuable time!
Vasco Dias: The lazy bastard just decided to have a lay down in the middle of a match, talk about unprofessional.
Terri Morasco: Are you genuinely kidding me right now?
{ Allen cries out in pain as he landed on his ribs⌠but he doesnât seem to care as heâs stopped himself getting too dominated in this match and earned himself a breather. Verona is shaking his head on the mat below, trying to shake off the sudden shock of hitting the ground. Chaney takes this time to earn himself some very valuable recovery time. Roberto uses the barricade to pick himself up, walking along down the side of it away from any potential diving zone for Chaney â although heâs not in much shape to attempt that. He finds a bit of solace in the officials area, propping himself up on the barricade as he grabs some water discarded in the various degrees of destruction to pour on his head and shake off some of the malaise. As he does so, Chaney rolls out of the ring and spots Verona propped up against the barrier. }
Vasco Dias: Youâre welcome sir, I donât need that water anyway.
Terri Morasco: Wait⌠Chaney has Verona in his sightsâŚ
Vasco Dias: What do you mean?
{ Chaney lines Verona up and barrels towards him with immense speed, before the boss can react he finds himself speared right through the barricade into the match officials area! Both men go crashing into the debris behind the barricade as Roberto lands with a sickening thud against the second set of barricades as Allen goes crashing through from the steel chairs! The crowd goes absolutely wild as both men lay in the wreckage but neither appear to be moving all that quickly. }
Vasco Dias: I hope he bills him for that!
Terri Morasco: Allen saw his chance and just threw himself and Verona right into barricades!
Vasco Dias: Is somebody going to put all this back together!?
{ The crowd are blowing the roof off the arena as they show their appreciation for the action thus far. Finally, perhaps spurred on by the support of a few of the front row audience members, Chaney begins to pick himself up and emerge from the carnage. He picks Roberto up and walks him over to the ring, rolling him inside before taking a moment to recover himself. Finally, he rolls in after him, planting a few boots himself to maintain the control he has managed to assert in this match. Chaney picks up and plants him with a suplex before lifting him up to drop him with a DDT. Allen is beginning to find a groove right when it matters as the match hangs in the balance. He leaps up and drops a leg across Veronaâs throat as he uses the adrenaline to push through the pain as he pumps up the audience too who are right behind their man. Verona begins to crawl away from Chaney as he is focused on the crowd, doing his best to put some distance between them. }
Terri Morasco: Allen is finding the strength within when it counts, this man will never quit.
Vasco Dias: Sadly so, if only we were so lucky.
Terri Morasco: Mr Positive this evening, arenât we?
{ Verona gradually lifts himself up to one knee but as he does so Chaney comes charging across the ring, grabbing a hold of the ladder which he surmounts a few steps up to launch himself into the air⌠sending a boot right into the back of Veronaâs head as he plants the boss with an elevated picture perfect Heckler Control! Robertoâs face connects hard with the mat as he is completely laid out by Allen who does a front roll before standing upright. Sensing this is his moment, Chaney rolls out of the ring and climbs through the destroyed officials area to retrieve a steel chair! He pats the improvised weapon before he walks back over to the ring. }Terri Morasco: Did you see the elevation Chaney just got on that Heckler Control!?
Vasco Dias: Somebody stop him! Heâs committing theft, that chair is IWF property!
Terri Morasco: Are you kidding me?
{ Allen rolls back into the ring where Verona has barely moved, chair clutched firmly in hand. He begin to circle his prey who gradually begins to stir as the crowd gets louder and louder, willing Allen to strike. Roberto shakes off the cobwebs, but doesnât seem to know where he is as a little bit of blood pours from his mouth from the huge Heckler Control he just took. Chaney keeps walking around as Verona tries to lift himself up and when he seems satisfied he takes a step forward with the chair raised high above his headâŚ. Wait!? Chaney stops, almost jerking to a stand still as suddenly in the last moment a member of Legion reaches into the ring to grab a hold of his ankle! Allen lowers the chair as he turns, desperately trying to kick off the grip of the Legion member who clings on for dear life doing all their can to buy time for Verona. }Vasco Dias: I am glad to see somebody is finally doing their job!
Terri Morasco: Allen had Verona right where he wanted him, the boss is lucky that he is still in this match!
Vasco Dias: All part of the plan, Morasco.
{ Chaney finally manages to shake himself loose from the grip of the Legion member, turning as he grasps hold of the chair⌠right into a Veni, Vidi, Vici! Veronaâs knee crashes the steel right into the skull of Chaney which sends him clattering down to the mat with a sickening thud. Roberto clutches his knee in pain as he writhes, beckoning the nearest Legion members to get in the ring. They duly follow their orders as they roll in and grab Allen by Veronaâs command as he lifts himself up, hopping on one leg as he tries to put weight on the other. Roberto orders his subordinates to grab a hold of Chaney and begin to strike him, which they duly begin to do much to the chagrin of the audience. Verona turns and grabs the ladder, slowly pulling himself up one step at a time as his Legion continues to restrain and beat Allen before he final makes it all the way to the top where he steadies himself before turning to look down at the handiwork of his Legion. }Terri Morasco: What a sickening blow⌠Chaney may be concussed here.
Vasco Dias: It might shut him up.
Terri Morasco: Things are not looking good for the Comedian.
{ Verona laughs, wiping away a slither of blood from the corner of his mouth. He sits atop the ladder and branches his arms out wide as the Legion members keep Chaney held firmly, landing additional strikes to his jaw. Roberto orders them to grab his head and force him to watch as he lifts himself up and reaches for the briefcase. Allen stares daggers up to Verona who waves down at him, taking his time to torture Chaney rather than make any serious attempt to unlatch the Joker in the Pack. Suddenly, Blood for Miles by Deathstars erupts from the speakers as Roberto stops dead in his tracks as Nick Knight emerges from behind the curtains to march down to the ring! Verona begins to yell at his Legion who duly drop Chaney and make their way out of the ring to confront Knight. Nick charges and begins to lay fists into the first Legion members to make their way towards, flattening them one by one! Knight is on a charge here, taking out his own months of frustration. }Vasco Dias: What the hell!?
Terri Morasco: Thatâs Nick Knight! He has his own score to settle with Legion after becoming their first victim six months ago! The former Invictus champion is securing a measure of vengeance for everything that was taken from him!
Vasco Dias: Somebody get this bum out of here, we were almost finally through with Chaney!
{ Knight lays on final members down before realising that the numbers are rapidly getting too much for him and he wisely hops the barriers and vanishes into the swell of the crowd. Those remaining Legion members tear open the barricade and pour into the audience as they begin pursuit of their quarry who has vanished amongst the thousands of fans. Veronaâs head darts around as he tries to point out the direction that Nick is travelling, finally spotting him as he reaches the bottom of a stairwell. Roberto shouts and points after Knight, sending the recovering Legion members into the audience to continue the pursuit before he is left all alone at ringside atop the ladder. }Terri Morasco: Nick Knight needs to run, he has the entire Legion on his tail!
Vasco Dias: These idiots need to get out of the way so they can pursue this criminal! Wait⌠this means Verona is aloneâŚ
{ Verona looks down as the Legion members continue their pursuit of Knight who marches up the stairs through the crowd before suddenly his head darts downwards as he feels the ladder shift underneath him. The crowd goes absolutely nuts as we see the figure of Allen Chaney grasping on tightly to the side of the ladder, his chest heaving as he stares right up at Verona. Roberto grips on as hard as he can as Chaney begins to lift up the ladder with all his strength and bit by bit it begins to slowly tip backwards. Verona turns and look down, quickly realising the predicament he is in, but unable to escape, as slowly but surely Allen tips it further and further, grasping one step at a time before finally the weight of gravity takes over. Lightbulbs flash all around the arena as Roberto finally is forced to let go and is sent plummeting through the stacked tables at ringside! Wood splinters shatter everywhere as Veronaâs body is left in a mangled pile of timber and metal and the crowd begins to chant âHoly Shit!â }Vasco Dias: No! This is a disaster! Somebody get the paramedics immediately!
Terri Morasco: Dear God, Allen Chaney just dropped the boss from a huge height! Did you hear that impact!?
Vasco Dias: I have got splinters in my hair, Chaney is a monster!
{ Allen hangs over the ropes, still showing the wear and tear of a hellacious encounter. He takes a moment to look down at the carnage he has wrought before suddenly, he turns his head to look at the ladder laying up against the ropes. The crowd goes absolutely nuts as Allen begins to nod, willing himself through the pain as he grabs the ladder and begins to prop it up in the middle of the ring. He grabs hold of it to ensure itâs stable before planting one foot on the bottom rung before taking one step after another. The crowd is growing increasingly loud willing their hero to the summit as he clutches his ribs in pain and almost stumbles. Chaney grips on and bit by bit he finally reaches the top, grasping on as the ladder wobbles and threatens to send him plummeting back down. With the last bit of strength left in his body Allen reaches up and his finger tips make contact with the Joker in the Pack briefcase and the roof practically blows off the building when he tugs it free from the chain suspending it above the ring. The official calls for the bell as Allen clutches the briefcase to his chest, months of frustration and hurdles final washing away as he holds his well earned prize in his hands once again as his music begins to blare around the arena. }Alison Valance: And here is your winnerâŚ. And
STILL your Joker in the Pack⌠Allennnnn Chaaaaaaaannnneeeeyyyyy!
Terri Morasco: He did it! Allen Chaney did it! He overcome everything in his way and finally he has what is rightfully his back in his possession! Through hell and high water he refused to quit, what a moment for him.
Vasco Dias: This is a disgrace, now we have to suffer this clown chasing the biggest prize in our sport?
Terri Morasco: It doesnât matter how you feel, Vasco, that right there is the Joker in the Pack and not even you can take this away from him.
{ Chaney slowly makes his way down from the ladder, clinging tightly onto his briefcase the entire way down. Finally he reaches the mat where his legs give way from under him and he allows himself to let go. The official kneels down and grabs his arm, raising it up in the air as Allen kneels down, the Joker in the Pack clutched closely to him. He yells with relief and joy into the air as the crowd continues to go wild for one of their emerging favourites before defiantly lifting himself up to lean over the top rope and hoist the case up high with one arm in a show of victory. Cameras switch between his triumph and shots of various medical officials sifting through the wreckage at ringside to get to Verona who has barely moved an inch. Allen continues to celebrate as he climbs out of the ring and interacts with the fans at the barricades as we gradually transition to a brief commercial interlude as officials do their best to clear up the chaos left behind by the pair. }-------------------------------
IWF GLADIATORS CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES MATCHNate Harris (c) vs. Abraxes
-------------------------------
Alison Valance: The Following match is for the IWF GLADIATORS CHAMPIONSHIP!
Iyo Kenshin: This will be interesting match up.
Rayne: We saw this match-up last pay-per-view. But this will be the first time for a legit matchup.
{The lights in the arena flicker and die as if there were some kind of power outage. As the light sounds of an acoustic guitar play, the high pitched laughter of children fills the air. A red spotlight shines on the stage as heavy smoke rolls across the floor. As opening lyrics of Monster (Under my Bed) by Call me Karizma starts to sing Abraxes rises from the center of the stage, his eyes burning out from under his mask as he stares down at the ring.
The rhythm of the song changes from a twisted lullaby do a grinding rock song just as he rises to his full height. Abraxes glares around at the audience before he walks down the ramp, focused on the ring in front of him. He crawls into the ring, exaggerated movements of his hands and legs to appear more like a creepy spider then a man. He rolls to his feet, holding his arms into the air as the lullaby starts anew.}
Alison Valance: First down to the ring, standing at 6â3ââ and weighing in at 285 from the The Pit⌠ABRAXES!
Iyo Kenshin: He freaks me out.
Rayne: Of course he freak you out.
{The pounding drums of âBoujee Nativesâ hit over the PA, and Nate Harris struts out from the back, rolling his wrists and looking around at the crowd with a grin on his face. Nate saunters down the entrance ramp, winking at someone in the front row, and striding towards the apron. He walks around to the side of the ring, leaping up onto the apron and turning mid-jump to land on a knee, grabbing the second rope. Nate gets to his feet, spinning to the center of the apron and grinning as he is hyping the crowd. He hooks his arms over the top rope, backflipping over the ropes and back-rolling to his feet. Nate struts over to the corner, leaning back against the turnbuckles and smirking as he waits for the bell.}Alison Valance: Next, from New Orleans, Louisiana standing at 6â1ââ weighing in at 215 your current Gladiator Champion⌠NATE HARRIS!
Iyo Kenshin: Nate has been holding the title for a little while but this is the hardest one yet.
Rayne: You really are the most basic of bitches.
{ The match begins how many would expect, with Abraxes in firm control. Nate tries to avoid the monster's grasp, sticking to quick flurries of offense, but there's only so much that can be done to neutralize the other-worldly power of Abraxes. Each clubbing blow from the monster echoes throughout ringside, with Nate very quickly becoming beaten and bruised. }Iyo Kenshin: This is going ill for our champion.
Rayne: What can you expect?
{ Abraxes, having cornered Harris, attempts a headbutt. Nate manages to duck out of the way, resulting in Abraxes sending his forehead crashing into the turnbuckle, dazing the big man. Nate needs no invitation, quickly hitting a swift kick to Abraxes' right knee. Like a shark smelling blood in the water, Nate is relentless, as if he's trying to surgically remove Abraxes' knee with his bare hands. Elbows, kicks, stomps, even an elbow drop from the top rope, all of it is aimed squarely at the right knee. }Iyo Kenshin: Nate is not letting up here at all. He got things on his side and he is going to take advantage.
Rayne: But we all know Abraxes can take a beating.
{ Abraxes acts almost as if the damage being dealt to his knee is just making him slightly annoyed. Out of absolutely nowhere he hoists Nate up and sends him flying overhead, connecting with a crushing Fallaway Slam that leaves his opponent downed and winded. The match continues in this same vain for a while, a battle of raw power versus precision offense. }Iyo Kenshin: Abraxes is punishing Harris.
Rayne: He promised he would.
{ Unsurprisingly, the action spills to the outside. Brawling around ringside Nate is sent flying against barricades and even into the steel steps. Abraxes, eager to see his opponent suffer more, smashes Harrisâ face into one of the ring posts, opening a flood of crimson from his victim's forehead. }Iyo Kenshin: Jesus.
Rayne: I don't think he has anything to do with this.
{ Like a predator toying with its prey, Abraxes ragdolls Nate back into the ring but does not attempt to secure the pinfall for a while. Abraxes calls for the Consign to Dream. He hoists Nate into the air but Nate smashes Abraxes in the top of the head with his knee, using his renown flexibility. He escapes Abraxes clutch and runs the ropes, ducking a wild Clothesline attempt and dropping the monster with a Bourbon Street Breaker that leaves both men down. } Iyo Kenshin: Ouch.
Rayne: This is exhausting.
{ Gritting their teeth, both men begin the process of forcing themselves to their feet. Nate is quickest to act, launching a Belly-to-belly suplex. Abraxes responds with a forearm strike. Nate fires back another suplex. Another forearm strike. It continues, both men wailing away on each other with all that they have left. }Iyo Kenshin: This is getting âŚ
Rayne: Donât be a bitch.
{ Tiring of these games, Abraxes launches a knee towards Nate's mid-section.}Abraxes: I̡ĚĚ Ě¸ÍĚwĚľĚÍiĚľÍĚąlĚľĚĚŻlĚľÍÍ Ě¸ĚĚşg̡ÍĚo̡Ȩ̌ Ě´Ě̲aĚśĚĚŚfĚśÍĚŹt̸ĚĚŹeĚľĚÍ

{Nate cracks his neck, âNah, now you gots to go.â Harris is able to counter, catching the knee and immediately wailing away with elbows. Abraxes tries to get Nate away but Harris holds on, smashing the knee again and again and again until the beast crumbles to the floor. Nate hits Abraxes with a Bad Idea.} Iyo Kenshin: WhatâŚ
Rayne: Itâs a anger thing.
{ Blood trickles down Nate's forehead and blocks his vision, he runs with a CLOSING SHIFT followed by a FLEXIN FOR THE GRAM!}Iyo Kenshin: TWO FINISHERS?!
Rayne: This might be it.
{ Nate jumps on top of Abraxes and slams his head into the mat a few times before going for the pin

Iyo Kenshin: He retained!
Rayne: But did he give into the impulse Abraxes wanted him to?

IWF INVICTUS CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES MATCHSerenity Holmes (c) vs. Natasha Walker

Vasco Dias: And now another huge match⌠Serenity Holmes, the prodigy of our esteemed boss⌠who I am hoping is ok⌠is ready to defend her IWF Invictus Championship!
Terri Morasco: Can she overcome the challenge of a very well prepared Bird of Prey?
{ "Riot" starts to roll the Distinctive drums into the arena as the lights dim, before stepping out the back in her outfit comes Natasha on time with the Scream in the track the thin "webbing" on her outfit lit up by UV as she bops to the beat and moves down the Ramp, taking a moment to hop to sit on the top rope Facing the crowd in a corner before draping backwards slowly to hang herself back and the use her extraordinary flexibility to pitch back onto her feet with a smile. }
Vasco Dias: And here comes the challenger, "Techno Tsuchigumo" Natasha Walker! This is her first straight shot at an IWF championship belt, and she looks ready for the occasion! The ferocity in her eyes says more than any words could in this moment. A victory tonight could be the biggest win of her career.
Terri Morasco: Natasha has a huge challenge in front of her, Vasco- letâs not get ahead of ourselves! Sheâs going to have to pull off something spectacular to get that belt off of Serenity Holmes.
{ "Synthetic Sympathy" by Trash Boat immediately explodes from the arena's surrounding systems, sparking a positive reaction from the audience. The bass and repeated opening lyrics synchronize with the lights flashing around the venue's interior, leading to Serenity Holmes sprinting from the backstage area to center stage, where the fans of the Action Wrestling universe greet her. She stands center stage before taking off her hat and throwing it into the fans for amusement until looking down the entrance path, where she takes off into a run for the mere moment of interactions on her fast-paced run to the ring. }Alison Valance: "Introducing on her way to the ring! Hailing from Houston, Texas! At five feet, seven inches tall, weighing in at 127 pounds. She is "22nd Century Girl" Serenity Holmes!"
{ Serenity slides under the bottom rope before unloading onto her feet, where she quickly hops onto the middle turnbuckle of an unoccupied corner to greet the fans at ringside. She flips her hair and throws up a peace sign with her tongue hanging out while winking at the camera. Serenity hops down and lands on her feet before running around the ring to show love to every possible fan in the atmosphere before staying in her designated corner, waiting for the next moment. }Vasco Dias: And here comes the champion, Serenity Holmes! Listen to the crowd go crazy for her! As they should, she made an excellent decision aligning herself with the boss.
Terri Morasco: The fans know they are in for a fast-paced, action-packed showdown here tonight!
{ DING! DING! DING!
As quickly as the bell rings the two competitors lock up in the middle of the ring. Wasting no time on pleasantries, Natasha and Serenity immediately clinch with each other in a classic test of strength and technique. Very evenly sized, neither competitor is able to gain a distinct advantage- until Natasha throws Serenity to the mat with a lightning-fast armdrag! Serenity quickly pounces back up, only to be thrown down with another armdrag! The pair quickly scramble back to their feet where Serenity lashes out with a wild clothesline, but Natasha ducks underneath it before hitting the ropes. When the champion turns back around, sheâs greeted with a running dropkick from the challenger that sends both ladies spiraling back to the mat! }Vasco Dias: Natasha is off to the explosive start! Sheâs one of the fastest wrestlers weâve ever seen in the IWF, and sheâs using that quickness and agility to her advantage here tonight!
Terri Morasco: But Vasco, itâs going to take a lot more than a few arm drags and a dropkick to win championship gold!
{ Natasha quickly rises to her feet and follows up on her dropkick, delivering a few stiff kicks to the back of Serenity Holmes. The champion takes the blows in stride as she works her way back to her feet, even with Natasha Walker all over her. Serenity lashes out with a forearm followed by a fist, but neither blow connects as Natasha busts out her Matrix-style evasion moves. After the failed combination Serenity has left herself open to a counterattack, and Natasha wastes no time in shoving Serenity into the closest corner. Natasha delivers a devastating right hook that shakes Serenityâs face and leaves her slightly dazed in the corner. Taking full advantage of her newfound momentum, Natasha begins laying into the champion with devastating chops to the chest. The loud chops can be heard throughout the venue, even amidst the âooohsâ and âaaahsâ of the crowd! }Vasco Dias: Natasha is laying into the champion right now! She must have heard what Serenity had to say about her, and sheâs coming out here to prove all her doubters wrong!
Terri Morasco: I promise you, Vasco: Serenity Holmes is not going to let Natasha Walker run off with her title easily though.
{ After delivering one more chop to Serenityâs red-hot chest, Natasha takes a few steps back- almost as if she were admiring a piece of artwork. Then, with lightning-quick speed, Natasha comes spiraling back towards the turnbuckle pads with a Cartwheel Back elbow! But the momentary pause was all the time Serenity needed to get collect her bearings, and she rolls forward to avoid the oncoming elbow! Both Natasha and Serenity hit the ground after the botched elbow attempt. }Vasco Dias: Quick thinking from Serenity to get out of the way there! Veronaâs tutelage is paying dividends.
Terri Morasco: Natasha thought she had the big move lined up, but the champion was playing chess while she was still playing checkers!
{ Serenity and Natasha both explode back to their feet before rushing each other once more. Instead of going for a tie-up or a clinch, however, Serenity instead charges forward with a big forearm blow to the face! The champion then follows up with an open-hand slap that echoes through the venue. Serenity takes a step back and smirks confidently as a raw mark reddens on Natashaâs cheek. Natasha looks at Serenity with intensity in her eyes before reeling back and trying to hit her with a haymaker- but Serenity sidesteps the blow before locking Natasha up in a headlock! Serenity squeezes her bicep on Natashaâs neck with all the power she has, and you can see the toll itâs taking on Natasha. The âTechno Tsuchigumoâ begins to go blue in the face as she struggles for air- but instead of submitting, Natasha has other ideas! The challenger grips the champion by the waist and charges towards the ropes. When the two women hit the ropes Natasha tries to push Serenity off of her- but the champion isnât letting go! Instead, Serenity drags Natasha down to the mat with a running bulldog out of nowhere!
Quickly, Serenity covers Natasha for the pinfall attempt!
1!
KICKOUT!! }Vasco Dias: Natasha still has a lot of fight left in her!
Terri Morasco: I canât even believe Serenity thought that would work! This is Natashaâs first shot at the IWF Invictus Championship. She wonât go down that easy!
{ After the kickout, Serenity grabs Natasha by the hair and drags her up to her feet. Serenity delivers an irish-whip into the corner, causing the challenger to crash against the pads. As soon as Natasha turns around, Serenity runs into the corner before leaping into the air and latching her legs around Natashaâs upper body for a huge Hurricanrana! Natashaâs body plows into the mat harshly- but Natasha isnât down for long. She quickly rises back to her feet, where Serenity Holmes is already waiting to meet her with another Hurricanrana- but this time Natasha avoids the attack with a no hand cartwheel Evasion! }Vasco Dias: Look at the incredible athleticism on display here! This match is turning into a certified barn-barner!
Terri Morasco: With flexibility like that, Iâm surprised Natasha wasnât competing at the Olympics in Paris! I think she wouldâve medaled with a move like that!
{ Serenity crashes to the ground after the failed Hurricanrana, but when she tries to climb back to her feet she is swiftly hit with a dropkick to the knee that collapses her! Natasha sprints towards the opposite ropes as Serenity Holmes catches her breath. Serenity starts dragging herself back to her feet, but Natasha comes barreling through at a dead sprint and grabs a hold of the championâs leg. Natasha successfully executes a roll through single leg Boston Crab- which she torques with every ounce of her being! Serenity screams in agony as Natasha nearly pulls her leg out of its socket! }Vasco Dias: Natasha has that hold locked in tight! We might be looking at a new Invictus Champion here tonight!
{ The referee drops to the mat and begins asking Serenity if she wishes to submit. Serenity screams in refusal as Natasha cranks the single leg Boston Crab with all her might. Serenityâs hand rises in trepidation, as if she were considering tapping out! }Terri Morasco: Weâre going to have a new champion right here!
Vasco Dias: Serenityâs reign as the Invictus Champion made her a household name, but now it looks like that all might be coming to a painful end!
{ Serenityâs face tells it all: her contortions of pain are grueling. Natasha keeps pulling and pulling on the leg as Serenityâs hand trembles in the air- but just when Serenity is about to tap out, she instead chooses to push herself up with her hands. Even with Natasha planted firmly on her back, Serenity lifts herself into the air as she tries to relieve the tension and pain building up in her leg. Serenity and Natasha both scream, two fierce competitors giving it their all- but only Natasha is left screaming when Serenity successfully rolls through the hold, causing Natasha to lose her grip! }Terri Morasco: Serenity Holmes should be counting her lucky stars! Natasha had her dead to rights in that submission! She couldâve broken her leg right there!
Vasco Dias: That roll through the boston leg crab was a dangerous maneuver- an insanely risky move- but Serenity Holmes has shown us time and time again that she can do incredible things when the pressure is at its highest!
{ Natasha and Serenity both rise back to their feet, each competitor looking worse for wear and drenched in sweat. Serenity moves a few locks of hair away from her face as she clears her vision. Meanwhile, Natasha wipes some of the sweat off her brow before wiping her hands on her wrestling attire. Both the champion and the challenger are physically exhausted, but neither one of them is willing to call it quits! Not when the stakes are this high!
The two women charge towards each other once more, but Natasha ducks when Serenity lashes out with another forearm blow. Natasha runs with a head of steam towards the ropes but instead of bouncing off of them, she jumps onto the ropes before springboarding off of them! Natasha crashes down atop Serenity, sending both women to the mat. As the champion and challenger once again climb to their feet, Natasha lashes out with a vicious high-kick, but the champion ducks beneath it! Once Natashaâs feet are planted, Serenity grabs a hold of her and throws her into the corner. Following quickly behind Natasha, Serenity then attempts her trademark Running Yakuza Kick- but Natasha ducks out of the way just in time! Serenity connects with nothing but air as Natasha deftly moves away from the corner! }Vasco Dias: Serenity just missed with the Deadline Trap!
Terri Morasco: Serenity seems to be just a half-step slow after that boston crab, and Natasha is going to live to fight on at least a little longer! Letâs see if she can take advantage of the championâs misstep!
{As Serenity tries to get back up, Natasha quickly seizes on her with a few fists to the face that stun the champion! Then, Natasha grabs a hold of Serenity before lifting her into a Fisherman suplex- holding the move for a few seconds too long because the champion is able to wriggle her way free, and by free, we mean free-falling to the mat! }
Vasco Dias: Natasha might have been setting up her TsuchiGumo! It looks like both our competitors are trying to put this match away!
Terri Morasco: You donât have time to showboat in a match like this, though- and that error might end up costing Natasha! She had a golden opportunity right there but she couldnât cash in!
{ Serenity lands on the mat and gains a nasty bump to the head, but she still manages to sweep Natashaâs legs out from under her. The crowd is completely abuzz, with every member of the audience on their feet as the two women both struggle to get back to their feet. Now covered from head to toe in sweat and bruises, both Serenity and Natasha seem to be pushing themselves to the limit! }Vasco Dias: This match could still go either way! Both Natasha and Serenity have given it their all, and both women are deserving of the win here tonight!
Terri Morasco: But someone has to lose, Vasco! There are no participation trophies in the IWF!
{ Serenity goes for a clotheslines but Walker manages to duck under it, as the champion turns she walks right into a big kick to the gut which sends her reeling over. Natasha leaps into the air and tries to land a Facejam⌠but nobody is home! Holmes manages to duck under the attempt and survive to fight another day. Walker picks herself up clutching her back in pain as she tries to stand up straight but sensing her moment, Serenity moves in for the kill. Holmes rolls Walker up⌠but she has a quite liberal amount of tights grasped in her hand⌠and two feet on the ropes! The official, however, has not spotted it and they make the count⌠1âŚ. 2âŚ. 3! Serenity immediately drops her feet and lets go before the official can notice and she rolls out of the ring as her music hits! }Alison Valance: And here is your winner⌠and STILL IWF Invictus champion, Serenittttyyyyy Hooooollllmmmmmeeeessss!
Terri Morasco: Serenity secures a win⌠but at what cost? How much has she sacrificed on the advice of her advisor?
Vasco Dias: Itâs called doing whatever it takes to win, Terri⌠it seems to me that Serenity is finally learning that you have to do anything to be a champion and to protect your belt.
{ Natasha cannot quite believe it, she felt the tug on her tights and tries to argue with the official but its to no avail. Serenity grabs her belt and immediately makes her way up the ramp, the belt clutched high in the sky as she is satisfied with her win. Walker stares up at her â clearly this isnât over â but for this evening, it is Serenity Holmes who emerges victorious and continues her reign as the Invictus champion. }-------------------------------
IWF WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES MATCHJennie Fenix (c) *Subject to Medical Clearance* vs. Charlotte Shimizu
-------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Next up, the Iron Heiress is ready to take the next step in her career⌠but controversy still reigns.
Vasco Dias: Thatâs right, Morasco. Is the champion even fit to defend her belt?
Terri Morasco: Thereâs only one way to find outâŚ
{ Before the music starts, the tron lights to show a red sun slowly rising over a broad expanse of ocean. The image flies apart into a flurry of red feathers and pink flower petals as the music hits. When the introductory chorus drops, Charlotte strides out, right fist pumping into the air in rhythm with the words âOh yeahâ.
She circles the outside of the ring after the intro chorus and the first verse, pausing briefly at each side to work the crowd before climbing nimbly up to the apron before the last line of the verse. On the apron, she takes a running start from one corner towards the ringpost opposite. At the last second, she jumps up to the second turnbuckle and flips over the top rope, landing feet together and hands raised just as the chorus hits again. She again circles, pumping her fist high in time with the pounding guitar and screaming vocals of MYTH & ROID.
As the chorus comes to its end, Charlotte stands in the center of the squared circle and bows from her waist to the audience, her hands clasped at her chest. To her fading music, she strides purposefully to her corner and starts shaking out her hands and rolling her neck in preparation for the coming match. }Terri Morasco: And here comes the Iron Heiress! She has had one of the most impressive debut years of any woman in the history of this business, but can she finally take that big step?
Vasco Dias: Even I can admit Charlotte has proved herselfâŚ
Terri Morasco: WowâŚ
Vasco Dias: âŚworthy of the opportunity, but not the belt. Yet.
Terri Morasco: And there it is.
{ Charlotte paces back and forth in the ring, waiting to see what she has in store when suddenly⌠Cliff Cook walks out from behind the curtain, carrying a black bag. Charlotte stands with her hands on her hips, visibly frustrated as she is ready to fight. Cliff marches down as fast as he can as he reaches the ring to have a word with the official. Cook walks around and collects a microphone before he gets into the ring and lifts it to his mouth ready to address the capacity crowd. }Cliff Cook: Ladies and Gentlemen, may I have your attention please!
{ The crowd gradually lower their volume. }Cliff Cook: I regret to inform you that the scheduled match will not continue.
{ The crowd begins to boo as Cliff raises his hand apologetically. }Cliff Cook: Despite her best efforts, Jennie Fenix has failed a last minute wellness check and cannot be passed fit to compete here this evening. Effective immediately her title is forfeit.
{ The crowd boos with frustration against Charlotte herself is clearly not amused, she came ready to fight and is pumped up and ready to go. Cliff reaches into the black bag and retrieves the IWF Womenâs World Championship, placing the bag on the mat besides him. }Cliff Cook: So, without any further delay, Charlotte Shimizu Iâd like to present to you the IWF Womenâs World ChampionshipâŚ
{ Cliff walks over towards Charlotte with the belt extended in front of him⌠before he stops himself. }Cliff Cook: But I regret to inform you that I cannot do that.
{ Charlotte looks at Cliff with confusion. }Cliff Cook: As per the orders of IWF management and taking on board your desire to fight for this belt, it is my duty to inform you that you
will be competing here this evening!
{ The crowd goes absolutely nuts as Charlotte nods, sheâs prepared to fight and she lets Cliff and everybody else know it. } Cliff Cook: So, allow me to introduce you to your opponent here this eveningâŚ
{ Lights dim as the opening riffs to Shoot to Thrill hit, and flashes of white light begin to pulse along with the music as it picks up pace. The stage fills with dry ice as Dawn steps out from backstage, smiling manically and rocking out to the music. She points to the crowd and tries to get them pumped up. When the chorus hits, she raises her fists in the air as she lets out a shout of excitement punctuated by a blast of simple white pyro around her. She holds that pose until the second iteration of "Shoot to Thrill" in the chorus, at which point she charges into the ring and slides in, spinning with the momentum to her feet as she urges the crowd to get to their feet and rock along with her. After a few moments she stands in the middle of the ring, adrenaline running through her as she stares down Charlotte who nods, clearly ready to fight. }Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the next match is scheduled for one fall and its for the IWF Womenâs World Championship!
Vasco Dias: It looks like Charlotte is about to get her wish!
Terri Morasco: Shimizu is ready to fight, can she fulfill her destiny!?
{ As the bell rang, Charlotte immediately showcased her agility, using her speed to evade Dawnâs initial charge. She darted around the ring, delivering a series of rapid kicks and high-impact moves. Dawn, however, was unperturbed. Her strategy was to absorb the high-flying attacks and wait for an opening. Despite her time away from the ring, she was fully prepared for this potential opportunity.
Charlotte executed a dazzling moonsault, landing perfectly on Dawn, but the brawler barely flinched. With a roar, Dawn grabbed Charlotte mid-air and executed a thunderous slam. The crowd gasped as the ring shook from the impact.
Dawnâs dominance was evident as she grounded Charlotte, focusing on powerful strikes and punishing holds. Yet, Charlotteâs resilience shone through. After weathering a series of punishing blows, she managed to wriggle free and climb to the top turnbuckle.
The audience held its breath as Charlotte launched herself into a breathtaking shooting star press, catching Dawn off guard. The momentum shifted, and Charlotte quickly took advantage, attempting a pin. Dawn kicked out at two, displaying her grit.
The match reached its peak as both wrestlers, exhausted but determined, exchanged their finishing moves. Charlotteâs high-flying tactics and Dawnâs brute strength clashed in an electrifying display. In the end, it was Charlotteâs quick thinking and agility that secured her victory with DUSTBOWL TYPHOON. She outmaneuvered Dawn with a swift roll-up pin, catching her opponent by surprise.

The bell rang, and the crowd erupted into cheers. . The nightâs surprise match had delivered a thrilling spectacle, blending the art of high-flying and brawling into a memorable contest that fans would talk about. Charlotte, though winded, stood tall and victorious, extending a hand to Dawn in a show of respect. Dawn, though disappointed, shook Charlotteâs hand, acknowledging the skill and heart of her opponent. }Alison Valance: And here is your winner⌠and the
NEW IWF Womenâs World champion⌠Charlotttteeeee Shimiiiiizzzzzzuuuuuuu!
Terri Morasco: She did it! Charlotte is the champion!
Vasco Dias: And now, sheâs earned that belt.
{ Charlotte is overcome with emotion, dropping down to her knees as her music erupts and the crowd goes absolutely nuts for her. They are delighted and so are her friends Natasha and Rini who rush down to ringside eager to celebrate with her. Gold confetti begins to descend from the rafters as the official retrieves the belt and walks over to hand it to Charlotte who can scarcely believe its really hers. She takes the belt and clings it close to her as Nat and Rini offer her words of congratulations as confetti swirls around them and the arena is blowing the roof of for their new champion. }Terri Morasco: It may not be quite as the envisioned, but Charlotte Shimizu is not only the Iron Maiden, sheâs not only the Heiress to the Throne⌠but now, she is the IWF Womenâs World champion!
Vasco Dias: Credit where its due, even I admit that pulling out a win against an opponent you have not had chance to prepare for is how a true champion operates.
Terri Morasco: You can see how much this means to Charlotte, to accomplish this milestone and to do it here in the Tokyo Dome after an emotional tour for her and her friends, it doesnât get bigger and better than this!
{ Charlotte is on her knees still, clutching the title close to her as Rini and Natasha continue to congratulate her. Eventually they lift her up and hoist her hands up high as the Tokyo Dome absolute erupts for her. Shimizu is absolutely over the moon and her emotions are clear as she looks down at the prize she has coveted for so long in a country with so much significance to her. Rini and Natasha march her around the ring as they continue to amp up the crowd to celebrate for her. }Terri Morasco: What an incredible moment for a breakout star â
{ âCheck? Okay.â
Suddenly the Imperialtron comes to life with a green ECG beep, then a white one and an orange one, then an Irish tricolour fourth beat which transitions a flatline, replaced by a stronger, bolder, more assertive identity in uncompromising gold against the black: SHEA OâHARA. The crowd erupt into a mixture of cheers and boos as a renewed ball of energy, Shea OâHara explodes through the curtain. She surveys the electric crowd for a moment.
The crowd show no signs of dipping in their energy as they are greeted by the fiery redhead in shades and scarlet leather jacket. Taking centre stage, Shea plants her feet firmly, bouncing into a slight squat as she throws up the âdevil hornsâ on each hand. The gesture is coordinated with the start of the chorus of âComing For Bloodâ by Eva Under Fire (featuring From Ashes To New) as a trio of small intermittent flame pyros are set off on either side of her.
Shea then sprints to the ring, sliding under the ropes, where she bounces up to her feet and runs to the ropes, playing to the camera as she places her left foot on the bottom rope, bouncing before throwing up the âdevil hornsâ on her right hand again, triggering yellow sparkling pyro explosions from each turnbuckle either side of her. }Terri Morasco: What the hell is Shea doing out here!?
Vasco Dias: I think the item in her hand tells you all you need to know, MorascoâŚ
{ Shea climbs into the ring and immediately marches towards Charlotte who steps forward in front of Rini and Natasha with the title draped over her shoulder. Shea smiles and nods, acknowledging the champion before she raises up the Queenâs Gambit in her hand. The crowd explodes as the pair share an intense stare down, their gaze on one another unbreakable as the camera focuses on them side by side, confetti still wafting around them as our final shot on this huge moment is a face to face between the IWF Womenâs World champion and the Queenâs Gambit before we go to a brief interlude. }-------------------------------
REVENGE MATCHw/ Special Guest Referee Rob Diamond
Dean Harper vs. Pandora Freeman-Hall
-------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Terri Morasco: This is the first match of Deanâs path to paying for his crimes.
Vasco Dias: A 6 match gauntlet series. Revenge Match. Here I thought it would be a beat down but apparently not.
{Suddenly the lights drop out as the opening riff of Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood hits. The entire arena lets out a collective cheer. The graphics on the screen show some of the many highlights of the career of Rob Diamond. The lights in the arena start to strobe pink as the second, third, fourth and fifth riffs all hit with pink pyro launching out of the stage and just as the lyrics kick in, Rob Diamond steps out to enormous cheers! Rob Diamond walks down the ramp slapping hands with the crowd. Rob smirks and points toward the ring as he marches forward. Rob runs up the steps and steps into the ring. Rob hands Alison Valance a note card. }Alison Valance: At this time it is my honor and my privilege to introduce⌠The Special referee for the matchâŚTHE MASTER OF DISASTER! THE FACE OF THE FRANCHISE! THE SULTAN OF SWAT! THE INFAMOUS ONE HIMSELF! HE IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME! ROB DIAMOND!!!!
{ After the introduction, Rob throws up both arms with his index fingers in the air as pink pyro erupts along the ring apron behind him before hitting the biggest crotch chop of all time. }Terri Morasco: While he and Dean have an intense game of Gay Chicken going for years, itâs clear heâs here to make sure The Murder doesnât interfere.
Vasco Dias: And maybe slap Deanâs ass a few times.
"We all recognize that I'm The Problem here."{The lights dim, Even as the Intro to the song helps to light up UV the intro strains of "Ghouls" start to play and the words start to play as Pandora rises from under floor the entrance, head lowered hands behind her back.
As the song kicks in fully Pan seems to explode out bouncing down the ramp lit up like a christmas tree before mounting the apron with a full side to side apron knee slide that ends in her standing to vault over the top rope and bouncing to the beat smiling like a lunatic.}Alison Valance: First down to the ring, From Hope Michigan. Standing at 5â6ââ and weighing in at 144 pounds⌠PANDORA FREEMAN HALL KANE!
Terri Morasco: For people who donât know Pandora she is one of the women who really helped define the womenâs division a few years back. She stood against The Pack and faced Rowan multiple times. She even helped try to get Spike Kane to be less of a jackass. But blood wins out every time.
Vasco Dias: Youâre not wrong.
{Intro of Throne by Bring Me The Horizon begins to play. The arena is plunged into darkness, with only a few spotlights scanning the crowd. As the first verse starts, a low, pulsating beat resonates throughout the arena, building anticipation}
âRemember the moment you left me alone and
Broke every promise you ever made
I was an ocean, lost in the open
Nothin' could take the pain away "
{As the chorus hits, a sudden explosion of pyrotechnics erupts at the entrance ramp. The spotlights converge to illuminate Dean Harper. He walks down to the ring with his head held high and a wicked smile on his face. He jumps up onto the apron before springing on the bottom rope into the ring. Once in the center of the ring, Dean methodically removing his jacket and tossing it aside, revealing his tattooed muscular physique. The music fades, leaving only the sound of the crowdâs roar and Dean Harper standing in the center of the ring, ready for the battle ahead.}Alison Valance: From Sioux Falls, South Dakota, standing at 6â2ââ and weighing in at 185 pounds⌠Everyone's Favorite Psychopath⌠DEAN HARPER!
Terri Morasco: Did Dean change his entrance music again?
Vasco Dias: YeahâŚyeah he did.
{The bell rings, and Pandora charges at Dean with a high-speed dropkick, catching him off-guard. Dean stumbles, but quickly recovers, retaliating with a vicious clothesline. He grabs Pandora by the hair, dragging her to the corner and delivering a series of brutal shoulder thrusts}Terri Morasco: Pandora wasting no time.
Vasco Dias: The best way to beat Harper is to get him down early and keep him from build momentum.
{Pandora fights back, using her agility to slip out and deliver a springboard moonsault, landing perfectly on Dean. She follows up with a series of rapid kicks and a spinning heel kick that sends Dean sprawling. Dean, enraged, rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. Pandora, not giving him a momentâs peace, launches herself over the top rope with a somersault plancha, crashing into Dean and the barricade.}Terri Morasco: ouch.
Vasco Dias: front row is often a splash zone.
Pandora FHK: You laid hands on my
WIFE!
{Both wrestlers are now outside the ring. Dean, showing his violent side, grabs a steel chair and swings it at Pandora, but she ducks and kicks the chair into his face. Pandora quickly follows up with a top-rope hurricanrana, sending Dean crashing onto the outside mats. Pants gets on top of him and wails away on him with both hands closed fists. Rob jumps down and pulls Pandora off of Dean.}Terri Morasco: clearly Rob let her have a couple minutes of that since Dean went for a chair.
Vasco Dias: I think there could have been a couple moreâŚ

Pandora kicks Dean in the head and sets him up for her finishing move. She climbs to the top rope, preparing for her signature high-flying maneuver. {Dean and Pandora lock eyes, the tension palpable. Harper wastes no time, charging at Pandora with the Up is Down. Pandora dodges nimbly, catching Harper off guard with a sharp jab Tank Girl Followed or Preceded by "P-p-p-Pow!" finger gun taunt}
{Harper stumbles back but quickly recovers, grabbing Pandoraâs arm and twisting it behind her back. Pandora grits her teeth and manages to spin around, using her free arm to deliver a vicious elbow to Harperâs face.}{Harper reels but doesnât go down. He retaliates by throwing Pandora into the corner. He follows up with a running clothesline that leaves Pandora dazed. Harper gets up on the top rope Pandora waits for him to jump before super kicking him in the knee tumbling him to the ring.}Terri Morasco: was that the same knee Warren abused to get his submission victory?
Vasco Dias: continuity matters, morasco.
{Pandora kicks Dean in the ribs twice before going for the pin

Dean headbutts her off of him. Dean pops back to his feet and the two brawl in the center for a moment before Dean hits her with a Oathbreaker. He attempts a pin but Pandora fights back, kicking Harper away and rolling to her feet. She growls and starts a relentless assault throwing kicks and punches, targeting Harperâs legs and arms. Harper is battered but manages to catch Pandora with a sudden spear, driving her into the turnbuckle.}Terri Morasco: things are looking rough.
Vasco Dias: could look worse.
{Rob tells Dean to back off and he does with his hands raised. Rob slaps him in the ass in a âgood gameâ way. Pandora pops up with an FHK Rush slamming Dean to mat and Pandora starts elbow dropping on his head, blood is see hitting the mat. {Dean stands over Pandora, victorious but bleeding. Rob holds his hand up and hugs him, Patting him on the back though clearly suggesting medical attention.}Vasco Dias: well thatâs one.
Terri Morasco: but Dean still has a couple matches ahead of him.
{As Dean celebrates, Pandora, though defeated, gets back to her feet, from the top of the ramp Vivienne, Brooklyn and the rest of the murder have eyes locked on Dean, signaling that this battle may be won, but the war is far from finished}-------------------------------

Terri Morasco: And what a heart stopping contest this one promises to be Vasco. Both the challenger and the champion are two men at the top of their game right now. Pax Stormcrow is the only man in history to have won the prestigious Heir To The Throne tournament twice and in consecutive years. He has been unstoppable throughout this yearâs tournament, and itâs hard to imagine anyone more deserving of the opportunity he has here tonight.
Vasco Dias: The World Champion is no slouch either, Terri. Warren Kidd has had his own trials and tribulations to get to the privileged position he finds himself in here tonight. Warren made history at High Stakes when he won the annual Roulette Match for the first time in his career to earn a shot at his now ex-husband Dean Harper. He then made further history by being the only man to date to ever make Harper submit, and if that wasnât impressive enough, he immediately kept the historic accomplishments coming by going down in history as the first man to main event our first ever two night Immortals event. An event in which Warren was successful on both nights, first winning the World Championship on Night One and then successfully defending against Caleb Cannin on Night Two! The only man to have achieved that in the history of this company!
{The tron fills with lightning as static comes over the speakers. Slowly each current of electricity on the tron fizzles out until the word 'Skoden' (And the logo for Prairie Fiber remains in the lower right corner) At the sight of the unofficial war cry of Pax appears on the tron the audience roars into cheers as the opening rhythm of Stadium Pow wow thrums through the air.
As the singers kick into the song he pumps his fist in the air along with them before bounding down the ramp as the bass drops. He slaps hands with fans along the ramp as he makes his way down to the ring and slides under the bottom rope.
He makes a circle around the ring, arms pumping to work the crowd up before he jumps onto the second turnbuckle, lifting the hood of his coat back and looking up to the ceiling as he basks in the cheers from the crowd. He jumps down from the turnbuckle, shrugging out of his coat and handing it off to the staff before moving into his corner to crouch down in preparation for the match to begin }Terri Morasco: Well, itâs no secret who the crowd are firmly behind here tonight!
Vasco Dias: Itâs disappointing just how many fans have brought into Pax Stormcrowâs lies and slander about our World Championâs morality and upstanding principles.
Terri Morasco: I think the apple never falls far from the tree, so Pax has a point about Warrenâs questionable personal associations.
Vasco Dias: Oh no, not you as well, Terri.
{The lights change, flickering purple briefly, in time with the opening piano, quickly stopping as the drums kick in. When the lyrics of âLegacyâ by Motionless In White begin, the lights settle on a softer, more stable golden yellow. The crowd is divided for Warren Kidd as he emerges from behind the curtains wearing a simple leather jacket, with the World Championship secured around his waist and a smirk across his face.
He then heads towards the ring, head held high and proud, confident, solely focused on his own business in that ring. At the edge of the ring, he closes his eyes and takes a breath before jumping up onto the apron, walking along it and climbing the turnbuckle. He takes a moment to unhook his Championship from around his waist.
He then perches himself on the corner, cradling the title in his lap, head bowed and eyes closed. He takes a series of slow deep breaths, relaxing himself in a brief meditation almost. Warren finally raises his head, no longer looking down on anything, but ahead. He slowly opens his eyes and relaxes, confidently raising the title in his right hand, smiling again.
The music slowly fades away and the lights return to normal as he hops down into the ring, slings the belt over his shoulder. A true fighter and sportsman unlike so many in this business and in his bloodline before him. Warren was a much better man, he well and truly believed that now.}Vasco Dias: The Champ has had his fair share of personal problems over the last year, but Iâd say his career has undergone something of a significant renaissance in that time.
Terri Morasco: Iâd agree with that. Professionally this seems like the best version of Warren that weâve seen in at least the last couple of years.
Vasco Dias: And given how many versions weâve gotten over the near decade heâs been in the business, thatâs saying something.
{As Warren and Pax stand across from each other in opposite corners, Alison Valance makes the official introductions.}Alison Valance: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following one on one contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the IWF MENâS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!
{Thereâs a focus on Pax as he goes through a little pre-match warm up routine, limbering himself up for the match ahead as he is officially introduced as the challenger in this contest. Pax shakes his neck, rotates his shoulders and shakes his arms and legs. In seemingly peak physical condition and champing at the bit to pop Warren in the nose at the first opportunity he gets, determined to beat the moral hypocrisy out of the champion with his superior ring skill.}Alison Valance: Introducing firstâŚthe challenger, from Aitkin, Minnesota, weighing 248 pounds, he is the first and to date only consecutive two time Heir to the Throne Winner, having successfully won the tournament in 2023 and 2024âŚPAX STORMCROW!
{The crowd erupts into massive cheers for the firm favourite who is on a monumental winning streak right now and seems positively unstoppable. Far removed from his days as a struggling underdog, Pax has found a new determination and laser focus in his career, and that has translated into massive support from much of the IWF audience. The camera pans over briefly to show the current World Champion nodding his head, seemingly in approval and respect, though it is evident from the scowl on Paxâs face in response that the challenger does not believe Warrenâs show of respect to be at all genuine.}Alison Valance: And his opponent, from London, EnglandâŚweighing 205 pounds, he is the two time current reigning and defending IWF MENâS WORLD CHAMPION⌠âTHE BETTER MANâ WARREN KIDD!
{Pax Stormcrow seems to visibly cringe and roll his eyes as Alison belts out Warrenâs remarkably audacious moniker, but Warren just smirks in a manner that honestly just makes Pax want to slap the taste out of the Champâs mouth. The crowd it seems are mostly on Paxâs side in this endeavour as there are audibly more boos than cheers for Warren Kidd.
The two men get nose to nose and Warren holds up his Championship proudly in one hand whilst staring down his markedly bigger challenger. As Warrenâs smirk turns into a grin, the referee pats down both men, making an effort to check both men for any foreign objects. Pax is checked first, and when the official is satisfied, he nods at Pax before performing similar checks on Warren. When Warren is found to be all clear, the referee requests the Championship from Warren.
Warren complies eventually, but not before looking at himself long and hard in the polished sheen of the titleâs central plate. He runs a couple of fingers over the new âWARREN KIDDâ name plate that had just been replaced and updated a couple of days ago before tonight. He still had not settled into being his own man and making his own name entirely, and there was a silent anxiety gnawing at him in the back of his head that Pax would tarnish Warrenâs legacy here tonight before itâd even had a chance to truly begin.
Reluctantly, Warren forces himself to let go of his Championship, with a considered and deep sigh. The referee raises it for the benefit of the sold out crowd in attendance and the millions watching around the world. A few moments later, the referee hands it off to a stagehand and calls for the bell.}Terri Morasco: And here we goâŚ
Vasco Dias: Itâs put up or shut up time for these two extraordinarily driven men.
{Eager to prove that his technical competence is more than comparable to the former Olympic and amateur wrestling machine, Warren is easily led into a collar and elbow tie up with Pax. Pax, the more refined chain wrestler of the two, easily transitions from the tie up to a side headlock and then a waist lock. Pax looks to punctuate his opening sequence of grapples with a German Suplex.
Warren however has been on this ride several times before in his last match and as such fights out of the attempt with three stiff elbows to Paxâs face. Pax has no choice but to reconsider his approach and opts for a swift leg takedown, dropping Warren to the canvas, Stormcrow rolls through looking for an Anklelock.
Warren seems to realise quickly that he has nowhere to go and so is forced to flail and kick Pax away as soon as Pax grips the ankle. Warren kicks free from Pax, who stumbles back a bit. Pax is once again forced to pick a different approach and actually backs off, inviting Warren back to his feet.
Warren kips up to his feet and tries to catch Pax with a rapid Superkick but Pax once more catches Warrenâs foot, once more threatening to twist the ankle into a deadly submission, but Warren hops up slightly and counters with a jumping enziguri to Stormcrowâs head.
Pax is forced to land on all fours, and Warren immediately tries to grapple him in his own waist lock. But Pax has enough presence of mind to back elbow Warren in the face and force him to reconsider. Warren then grabs Pax by the head instead and pulls him up to his feet looking for a suplex, but Pax has that scouted too, blocking the lift attempt with his ankle entwined around Warrenâs. Pax manages to hit a suplex of his own, floats into a quick cover, getting only a one count, before Warren fires a shoulder up emphatically.}Vasco Dias: So far itâs been something of a stalemate between these two.
Terri Morasco: Iâd say Pax has the slight edge in the early going, and is just keeping Warren on his toes with that early pin attempt.
{Not one to get easily frustrated, Pax pulls Warren back up to his feet and tries to whip him across the ring, but Warren counters into an irish whip of his own, and on the rebound catches Stormcrow with a beautiful tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Warren drops down into the cover and gets a one count of his own before Pax powers out, both men apparently looking to prove they are equally matched and can and will give as good as they get.
Warren drags Pax to his feet again, and knees him in the gut three times before lifting Pax up into a double underhook backbreaker. Pax winces and spasms at having Warrenâs knee once again driven into his back. Having seemingly picked out his target to isolate, Kidd presses his advantage whilst he has it, lifting Pax up and dropping him this time with an inverted headlock backbreaker, his third backbreaker variation in quick succession. Relentlessly, Warren remains focused and doesnât let Pax regain his bearings before picking him up and delivering another three kicks to the gut, before hitting a snap suplex, once again softening up his challengerâs back.
Warren keeps the suplex hooked and pops his hips to rotate into a second and then again into a third. Warren didnât usually chain suplexes like this together, but something was driving him to prove that he could. The succession of back focused attacks are followed up by a pin attempt that earns Warren a two, but the ever resilient Pax once more powers out.
Warren hops to his feet and once more attempts to pull Pax up with him, but this time Stormcrow has enough wherewithal to fight back and the two men trade blows back and forth with the crowd booing every shot Warren lands and cheering every shot Pax lands. Pax has more power behind his punches naturally than Warren and so manages to get the better of Warren, driving him back a few steps with each blow.
Seeming to understand that he cannot match Paxâs power, Warren tries a desperation superkick out of nowhere, but Pax is quick enough on his feet to sidestep and hook Warren around the waist and deliver a deadlift German Suplex. Pax bridges into pinning Warrenâs shoulders to the mat and earns a two, before Warren forcibly powers out. The tenacious challenger however maintains the waistlock and lifts Warren into a second. The third in the chain however is blocked by three back elbows to Paxâs face, forcing some separation between the two men.
Warren launches himself backwards with an overhead kick to Paxâs face, sending him to the mat. Warren kips himself up again, and tries to tie Pax up in a Sharpshooter but Pax denies him countering into a quick small package and getting a two, forcing Warren to kick out just before the three.
This time Pax kips up, whether just to showboat or whether to show Warren that anything he can do Pax is more than capable of matching is unclear. Either way the crowd roars for Stormcrowâs effort. Pax pulls Warren up and delivers a pendulum backbreaker, followed by an Olympic Slam that earns Pax yet another two count.}Vasco Dias: Pax seems relentless here, having earned a couple of near falls and really forcing Warren to expend more and more energy with every kick out, keeping the Champion from gaining any significant momentum.
Terri Morasco: Paxâs conditioning and Olympic training regime means the challenger has more than most in the gas tank physically. It may just come down to who can outlast their opponent long enough to score a crucial decision here.
{Feeling he has the match under control and the Champion on the ropes, Pax wastes little time in isolating Warrenâs right arm and applying a fujiwara armbar, before exemplifying his technical prowess by rolling through into an Anklelock!}Vasco Dias: This could be it here, Pax just might cap off a spectacular Heir To The Throne run with the ultimate victory and force Warren to tap out!
Terri Morasco: If Warren taps out here, weâll not only have a new World Champion, but Pax Stormcrow will have done the seemingly impossible and won the title off the back of an impressive tournament, not once but twice. Last year, he triumphed against Dean Harper, can he do it again here against Deanâs ex husband, Warren?
{The pain is almost immediately evident on Warrenâs face, as he yells out in pain. He forces himself to push through the burning sensation in his ankle and crawls slowly on his elbows towards the nearest ropes. It takes more than a few excruciating moments, Pax even tries to drag him back, but Warren is too proud and persistent. Warren pushes forward and grabs the bottom rope. Upon seeing this, Pax lets go without even being forced to and without using any of the refereeâs five count, as if upholding honour and sportsmanship was much more important to Pax.
In his heart, he knew he was a much better man than the current World Champion ever could be, and Pax wanted to show the world and Warren that there was always a better way to be, morally and ethically, so he followed the rules of his sport to the letter. Pax allowed Warren to use the ropes to get himself up to his feet. Warren stumbles slightly and looks to have more than a little trouble, keeping weight on one ankle.
With Warren back up to a vertical base, Paxâs competitive grace ends as he charges at Warren looking to clothesline him out of the ring. Warren however refuses to be caught out on this occasion and back body drops his incoming challenger out of the ring.
Pax has enough grace, agility and ring presence to land on his feet on the apron. He delivers a couple of blows to Warrenâs face, before pulling the Champion through the ropes and out onto the edge of the apron with him.
From here, Pax throws more punches whilst Warren throws a few kicks with his good leg, Pax delivers a knee to Warrenâs midsection, doubling him over. Pax then positions Warrenâs head between his thighs and looks to deliver a powerbomb on the edge of the ring. The crowd cheers in anticipation of the move.
However their jubilation is short-lived as Warrenâs own survival instincts kick in and Warren backdrops Pax on to the hardest part of the canvas, returning to inflict more damage on the back he had been targeting earlier in the match.}Vasco Dias: Warren seems determined to leave Pax with back problems after this match.
Terri Morasco: Itâs a solid game plan. Power is something Pax not only relies on more than Warren, but also a lot of technical slams and suplexes require a strong back to execute effectively. If Warren can compromise Paxâs back muscles, even temporarily, a significant amount of Paxâs offensive options will be automatically neutralised.
{Pax involuntarily rolls off the apron as soon as he lands, clutching his back. He grimaces in pain. Warren smirks, sensing an opening. He shakes feeling back into his leg, slapping it before hopping down, gingerly. The referee seems to offer some leeway and doesnât begin his count right away.
Warren disrespectfully slaps Pax across the face three times before pulling him up by the hair. He knees him in the gut and then drives Stormcrow back first into the apron again. Pain causes the challenger to spasm and Warren lifts Pax up into a fall away slam position, and drives Stormcrow back-first into the nearest ring post no less than three times before the refereeâs leniency wanes and he begins his count.
As the referee reaches five, Warren looks to whip Pax into some steel steps, but Pax has shaken the cobwebs enough to reverse the attempt and send Kidd crashing knee-first over the steel steps instead.
Warren immediately clutches his knee and unseen to Pax or the referee loosens his boot laces to apparently relieve some of the swelling from a sore ankle. Pax goes quickly over to Warren who makes quite a show of how he cannot stand properly on one leg.
Pax seems to show very little sympathy and throws Warren back into the ring at the.count of eight, knowing that a moral count out victory would not win him the World Championship. Warren again clutches his seemingly injured leg and ankle. Pax immediately goes for the Anklelock, looking to put a definitive stamp on the start of his second World Championship reign, with Warren apparently as good as beaten. It would only be foolish pride now that would keep Warren in this match and risk aggravating his ankle injury, surely.
But just as Pax thinks he has the hold locked in, Warren slips out of his boot, freeing himself of any hold Stormcrow was looking for. Pax looks a little dumbfounded at Warrenâs boot, but thatâs all Warren needs to pull Pax into a schoolboy roll upâŚ
1âŚ2âŚPax barely kicks out!}Terri Morasco: Well, Warrenâs tactics didnât quite go as planned there, but itâs nice to know the apple didnât fall very far from the tree after all!
Vasco Dias: Allâs fair in love, war and World Title matches, if you canât outwrestle them, outsmart them!
{Pax scrambles up to his feet and yells something inaudible to Warren who just shrugs and smirks. Pax picks up Warrenâs boot again and throws it out of the ring in frustration before the two men come to blows again. A divided fist fight between the two men once again breaks out with the crowd once again behind each of Paxâs strikes, and booing each of Warrenâs.}{After Pax gets the better of the exchange, Pax tries for his Peace Out and hits it, though not quite as impactfully as he would normally to his back issues. 1âŚ2⌠Warren kicks out barely before the three. Pax cant believe it, runs a hand through his hair before he picks Warren up, Warren tries to kick him in the gut looking for a Trauma Response but Pax has it scouted and shoves him away, before quickly locking in the Broken WingâŚ
Ever the resilient bastard, Warren refuses to tap and even taunts Pax by yelling âHarder!â Pax seems all too happy and willing to oblige as he takes Warren to the mat and tightens the hold, applying the grounded version expertly.
With nowhere to go and nobody to save him or his Championship, Warrenâs stubbornness causes him to pass out. The referee raises Warrenâs hand once, it inevitably falls. Twice, it falls again. On the third fall, the referee declares Warren officially knocked out, and awards the victory and the championship to Pax Stormcrow for his second consecutive year in this position.}Vasco Dias: Warren put up a hell of a fight, but his short reign is over, Pax Stormcrow was indeed the better man here tonight!
Terri Morasco: Well, all journeys must come to an end eventually, but this one is set to continue for Stormcrow. How long can Pax keep up his undefeated hot streak is anybodyâs guess, but mark my words this is not the last time we will see these two in the ring or Warren Kidd back in the World Championship hunt.
Alison Valance: Here is your winnerâŚAND NEW IWF MENâS WORLD CHAMPIONâŚPAX STORMCROW!
{Pax falls to his knees as he is presented the title by the referee. He rises to universal cheers, holding the title proudly in the air and declaring that this one was for his boys in Team Diversity Hire, because now they were anything but
As Paxâs music plays, new Womenâs World Champion, Charlotte Shimizu leads Nate Harris and Jack Ferriman out to the ring and the three rush to embrace the new Menâs World Champion.
Charlotte kisses him as the celebratory confetti begins to fall around the new power couple of the Imperial Wrestling Federation. The happy couple then raise their World Championships together and Legacy goes off the air with Pax being lifted onto the shoulders of his Team Diversity Hire friends, Nate Harris and Jack Ferriman.}
