(The scene opens up with TJ Alexander standing in front of an IWF backdrop, we see TJ wearing some blue jeans, a black short-sleeved t-shirt with a gold chain around his neck)
“It’s been a long time since I’ve stepped foot in an IWF ring, firstly I had a two-week break back in June, I had time to refresh and recharge, and it seems that while I was away, taking time for me, I was forgotten around here, I was waiting and waiting for the call back to be booked on a show, but it never came, but I never let it affect me, I’ve been constantly working, constantly being in a wrestling ring, constantly keeping my body in peak physical condition, and keeping my mind right at the same time, I am ready to shake things up again here in IWF, but it isn’t like last time, last time, I was ignored, I was thrown into the gladiator’s brand, where in fact I’m better than, and it isn’t going to be the same, I’m not gonna make promises that I cannot keep, I’m gonna make statements and facts, and the first statement I’m gonna make is at this week’s Odyssey when I team up with Nick Danger against Adel Travent and Phillip Deforrest the full statement that I’m gonna make is inside the ring and show the world that while I’ve not been around, I haven’t lost a step.”
(TJ pauses)
“In fact I’ve only gotten better, time and time I have been away, I have gained that extra bit of fuel and drive to come back to IWF, come back and become something bigger, but first I have to go through the deadweight that is Adel Travent and Phillip Deforrest, I know that my opponents are a big deal in the Gladiators brand, that they too think they are a big deal, but I don’t think they are. In fact I know they’re not a big deal, but right now I contacted to show up and give them my time, but my time isn’t going to be wasted, my time is going to be putting on a damn wrestling clinic for this match, to show everyone what they’ve missed while I haven’t been around. But let’s direct my attention to my opponents, firstly we have Phillip Deforrest, and Phillip, we’ve met before, before when I was an angry man, an angry man that has been placed in the gladiators brand, but knows his better than, and even now I know, I’m better than but I’m not angry, I’m coming for you and I’m coming for Adel and more importantly I’m coming for everyone who steps in my way. Phillip I find it hilarious that you actually think that training a little on your cardio that you’re gonna keep up with my speed and agility, my speed and agility is far greater than just cardio, it’s unnatural genetic gifted ability that I will use against you, that I will run circles around your big lump of a body, you say Phillip you’ve been practicing your counters and reversals but it doesn’t matter, because with my speed and agility my reversals are flash like, their lightening quick and unable to be countered, you have stepped in a dangerous situation Phillip, a dangerous situation that you cannot fathom.”
(TJ pauses)
“To actually think that you Phillip Deforrest and Adel Travent are going to go through the gladiators qualifier is laughable, it’s a joke, because really the minute the match was announced, IWF management should have just given me and Nick Danger the win and given us the bypass as a tag team, myself and Nick Danger are well above you pair of losers in every way, but we are gonna turn up at Odyssey and beat your two arseholes into the ground. I’ve spent enough time talkin’ about you Phillip Deforrest it’s time I give a little time to your tag team partner, Adel Travent.”
(TJ pauses)
“Adel Travent I see who you are, I see how you have manipulated your way through the roster, through using mind games and using other’s peoples weak minds against them, but my mind and Nick Danger’s mind are not weak, we cannot be corrupted, which means you Adel Travent have nothing to offer, your usual ways of control has been cut to shreds before the bell even rings, so Adel you will be like a fish out of water, flopping around and useless to your partner, while myself and Nick Danger exploit and expose your flaws while myself and Nick Danger combine our talents and win the match.”
(TJ smiles)
“To my partner Nick Danger, I have the utmost respect for you, we’ve had thrilling matches before, and I’ve always seen you as a cornerstone to this place, let’s go out there and win this match.”
