------------------------------- SEGMENT 3000 Word Limit Participants: Caroline Machado, Rini Ishikawa, Rosa de Luca and Itami The contenders to crown the first ever IWF Gladiatorix champion sit down with Willy Carter to state their cases before facing each other next week at Legacy. -------------------------------
{The camera feed changes to Willy Carter sitting in a well-decorated area backstage.}
Willy Carter: Hey folks, Willy Carter here with a first-time interview with the four women who have qualified for the first-ever IWF Gladiatrix champion belt Caroline Machado, Rini Ishikawa, Rosa de Luca, and Itami. Ladies, welcome!
{The camera moves back to show all four women sitting in chairs on the other side of him.}
Willy Carter: So! Iād love to hear it and Iām sure the folks at home would too, why do you think you are qualified to make history by being the first woman to hold this brand-new belt?
Rosa DeLuca: You know, I've been in this business for a long time. From the moment I stepped into the ring, I knew I had something to proveānot just to everyone else, but to myself. I've trained with the best, fought against the toughest, and learned from every victory and defeat. But what really qualifies me? It's the fire inside me. The same fire thatās pushed me through every barrier.
Willy Carter: When you say barrier, do you want to get into that?
Rosa DeLuca: I've faced challenges most people can't or wonāt even imagine. Being a woman in this industry means you're constantly underestimated. Being a trans woman is even harder. They expect you to be a monster. They tell you you're not strong enough, not fast enough, not ruthless enough but if you edge shard then all the bigots pour out of the woodwork to accuse you of not belonging. But every time someone doubted me, it only fueled my determination to prove them wrong. It feels like destiny. Iāve earned this moment, and Iām ready for it. This belt isnāt just a symbol of victory for meāitās a statement. Itās proof that women belong at the top, that we can dominate in this ring just as much as any man. Holding that belt will be a testament to every little girl watching, every woman whoās been told sheās not enough. Iām here to show them that we are more than enough. Weāre unstoppable.
Willy Carter: Thank you for that Rosa. Caroline, Rini and Itami? You have anything you want to say?
Rini Ishikawa: If we deserve the title or not is not the question we should ask, Carter-san. That question can only be answered at Legacy. We four have proven ourselves worthy of the chance, and that is the only thing that truly matters. We each have our blessings that have given us the edge over previous opponents. We shall find out which of our hearts beats strongest and emerges from Legacy as the first Gladiatrix Champion. Though I am the smallest of us, my heart is the largest and strongest in Japan. We find out if it is the strongest in the world. ćććčå„®ćć¦ć!
{ Caroline closes her eyes and calmly bows her head in respect for Riniās words. Willy graciously hands her the stick. }
Caroline Machado: Through the last few years or so, Iāve heard a lot of people telling me the same-same thing, over and over. Thatā¦I lacked ambition, that I was too soft to compete in this business, on the biggest stages of them all. Two years ago around this time, I became the Womenās World Champion and ended Shelly Diamondās incredible reign. Yet through it all, no matter what title is being contested, Iā¦Iām often reminded of one simple truth: no one person is bigger than the title. The Gladiatorix Championship represents honor and strength, courage and confidence under pressure. When you look at all four of us, EACH of us possesses those skills ā for the warriorās heart burns within all of us.
{ The Brazilian pulls out her ālucky charmā of sorts ā the baseball card-style photo of Jennie Fenix she had been keeping for months ā and holds it for the crowd to see. }
Caroline Machado: This picture serves as a caution, to never let the moment get into your head! After all, in a world that often hubris and ambition are often perceived as strengths, we must continue to accept the challenges that lie ahead ā without ever being afraid to lose, without ever giving into fear. Who ever becomes the Gladiatorix champion will have EARNED it.
{Itami laughs loudly.}
Willy Carter:Do you have something to add Itami?
Itami: This morning when I brushed my teeth I did not stand in front of the mirror and plan what I was going to say tonight. I wasn't even sure I was going to speak because this all means nothing, but being forced to listen to these three changed my mind.
You all think that you're the most deserving of this championship, but deep inside you're weak.
{Itami stands and walks in front of Rosa de Luca.}
I respect you for standing up against the hatred that you face as a trans woman, but your feel good female empowerment talk are just lies. Your actions don't prove that women belong at the top. They just prove that you've worked enough to be somewhere close to the top.
{āLady Painā takes a few steps to stand in front of Rini Ishikawa.}
Rini, your āI'm just happy to be here actā is pathetic. Do you honestly think that you deserve to stand across from me at Legacy? I don't because I know that a person like you wouldn't last five minutes on The Island. The MOD makes you into the best version of yourself possible, and everyone knows that the best version of you is a scared little mouse.
{Itami stands nose to nose with Caroline Machado.}
Then we have sweet Caroline, the perfect example of what might have been. You think that people think that you're too soft for this business, but I just think you're a failure. You've been given countless opportunities to be the face of IWF, but you've wasted them. Just like you're going to waste your opportunity to be the face of this division.
{Before Willy can try to regain control, it's too late. Caroline, fed up with Itamiās taunts, stands up, knocking over her chair, and gets right in Itamiās face. Rini, not one to be outdone, rises as well, stepping between them. The atmosphere explodes as Itami shoves Carolione, causing her to stumble back into Rini, who in turn shoves her forward, right back at Itami.
This sets off a chain reaction. Rosa finally rises from her seat, moving with precision and speed as she grabs Itami by the arm, spinning her around and landing a swift, calculated strike. Rini, seizing the opportunity, tackles Caroline, sending them both crashing into the interview set.
Itami and Rosa, meanwhile, exchange heavy blows, neither willing to back down. The set is in chaos, with the interviewer frantically calling for security, but the brawl has already taken on a life of its own. The cameras capture every moment as the four wrestlers let loose, a mix of raw power and honed skill on full display, with chairs flying, tables overturned, and bodies slamming into the floor.
Security finally rushes in, struggling to separate the four as they continue to hurl insults and threats, their blood boiling. The interview is in shambles, but the brawl has left a lasting impression, showcasing just how intense the rivalry between these wrestlers truly is.}
------------------------------- SINGLES MATCH Jack Ferriman vs. Logan Sky -------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, weighing in at 240 lbs. From San Antonio, TXā¦ He is āThe Machineā... Logan Sky!
{ As one of the most iconic riffs in Rock history starts to pump out from the speakers, Logan walks out onto the stage, soaking in the crowd's reactions. He moves to each side of the stage, throwing his arms up to try and rile the crowd up for the impending match.
He marches down the ramp, head bobbing from side to side before he climbs the stairs, wiping his feet on the apron before he steps through the ropes. Then he moves to each side of the ring, shouting at the crowd to pump them up. }
Iyo Kenshin: Logan looks game to compete tonight.
Rayne: The old timer usually is. This should be an interesting match.
Alison Valance: And his opponent, weighing in at 205 lbs. From Seattle, Waā¦ Jack Ferriman!
{ Gon Blow begins to play as the lights in the arena dim. A black and white image of Jack appears on the Imperatron as Jack slowly steps out onto the ramp, adjusting the long black coat he is wearing over his ring gear and cracking his neck. He slowly turns his head as he gazes around the arena before setting his eyes on the ring, slowly walking down the ramp and stepping easily through the ropes. He flexes his shoulders as he turns in a slow circle before settling into his corner, tilting his head Michael Meyers style as he stares down the referee. }
Iyo Kenshin: This is gonna be a close match, I can feel it.
Rayne: Perhaps so. Logan Sky is no slouch but Ferriman has been on fire lately. Heās also far more warmed up and when you get up to Loganās age cooling off can be more detrimental than normal.
{ Alison steps clear from the ring as the official checks over both competitors. Once they have made certain the competitors are ready to begin they signal for the bell to start the match. The crowd roars with cheers as the two men lock up in the middle. Logan, being the larger and stronger competitor soon gains the advantage. He starts to lift Jack up into a suplex, but Jack wiggles in his grasp before bringing his legs in to knock Logan in the head with his knees. Jack lands on the mat, following up with a headbutt to daze the older opponent before he moves to lift the larger man up into a suplex himself. Jack struggles to lift the larger opponent and is soon forced to drop him back to the mat as well. The two competitors remain locked together, struggling to lift the other while preventing themselves from being picked up. They battle back in forth before Jack lashes out a kick to Loganās shin. Having unbalanced the seasoned veteran, Jack follows up with a gator roll that brings both men down prone. }
Iyo Kenshin: These two men are putting on a grappling clinic for a very appreciative crowd but Jack manages to get the early advantage.
Rayne: Wonder where Jack picked up that decidedly amateur moveā¦
{ Jack maintains the hold on him, transitioning the gator roll into a front sleeper as he locks his arm around Loganās throat. The official slides down to the mat to check on the veteran as Jack spreads his body out on the map to try and keep the bigger man grounded and tight in the hold. Logan takes advantage of his lanky form and starts to gather his legs under himself to push his body up from the mat. Jack tries to tighten the hold to keep his opponent from rising,but quickly realizes itās not working. He attempts to float over to, likely to transition into a more standard sleeper hold, but the wily veteran catches him in the move, rolling over into a cover. But the official only gets to a one count before Jack kicks out from the pin. }
Iyo Kenshin: Logan with quick thinking to get himself out of the hold.
Rayne: Jack should have moved to get on top of him. Grounding a bigger opponent is always a good idea but you gotta do everything you can to keep them on the ground. Rookie move in my opinion.
{ Logan is quick to his feet, picking up Jack with him as he goes. He picks up the younger man and whips him into the ropes only to catch him with an arm drag when he rebounds back towards him. Jack is undeterred, bouncing back to his feet first. He rushes back at Logan, who gets up in time to plant the smaller man into the mat with a textbook powerslam. Logan springs to his feet, shouting at the crowd to pump them up. }
Iyo Kenshin: The Machine is starting to get moving!
Rayne: He needs to keep up the pressure. Itās stupid to go to the crowd this early into the match.
{ Rayne proves to be correct. Jack is slow to rise to his feet, but rise he does. He moves in on Logan and lays into him with several clubbing blows to drive the larger opponent back into the ropes. Logan responds with his own clubbing blows and the two men begin to battle back and forth in the middle of the ring as the crowd goes wild. They go back and forth for a moment but then Jack leaps into the air with a rising headbutt that sends Logan reeling in the center of the ring. Jack is quick to follow up, turning around so that he can flip Logan over his shoulder with a snapmare that shakes the ring. }
Iyo Kenshin: I told you this match was going to be good! Non stop action.
Rayne: I donāt know that I would call it good, but itās at least eventful.
{ Jack grabs onto the ropes, shaking them as he yells out to the crowd who cheer appreciatively along with him before he turns around, hitting Logan with a roundhouse kick as he struggles to rise. }
Rayne: Or he could end it right there!
Iyo Kenshin: A Make Peace from nowhere!
{ Jack moves to make the cover, pulling both of Loganās legs as he arcs his back to put all the weight on the larger manās chest. The official slides into place to make the three count. The bell rings and Gon Blow starts to thump through the arena.}
Alison Valance: Your winnerā¦ Jack Ferriman!
Iyo Kenshin: I canāt believe it! Jack zipped that up in no time flat!
Rayne: Iām just glad it was over.
{ The official lifts Jackās arm in victory as Logan rolls from the ring while the crowd roars with applause and cheers for the victor. }
------------------------------- SEGMENT 2000 Word Limit Participant: Roberto Verona The CEO of IWF makes his final statement before his clash with Allen Chaney at Legacy for the Joker in the Pack. -------------------------------
{We return to ringside where Roberto Verona stand in the middle of the ring, a microphone in his hand, as he is surrounded by large numbers of his Legion. He waits for the noise to gradually die down before looking around the arena, pondering for a moment before finally beginning to speak. } Roberto Verona: Congratulations, Chaney, you finally have my attention. For months I have been waiting for you to be the man you always could have been, not the joke your chose to be. No more complaining about officials, no more excusesā¦ no more quitting. Perhapsā¦ and itās a small likelihoodā¦ perhaps you may finally be ready to be the man who is worthy of carrying around an opportunity at the biggest prize in the business. But thereās just one problemā¦ { Verona looks into the camera and points his fingers into his chest. } Roberto Verona: Next week at Legacy, you will face the one true litmus test. You and me, one on one, inside this very ring where you get the opportunity to prove yourself once and for allā¦ but make no mistake, this is your one and only opportunity. When I take this briefcase away from you it wonāt be another page in this game weāve been playing, but the final chapter. No more petulant displays of property damage, you and meā¦ weāll be done. { Verona points up at the briefcase. } Roberto Verona: This is make or break for you Chaney, where as me? I have nothing to lose. Either you finally prove youāre more than the one trick clown and I gain a return on my investment as you achieve your true potentialā¦ or I put you in my rear view mirror and move on to anointing somebody truly worthy. But for you? This is it. You can either become another in a long line of bitter losers who build a career on complaining about how they couldnāt make it here and blame everybody but themselves orā¦ { Verona pauses.} Roberto Verona: You can be the man who earned my initial investment and proved himself on the biggest stages to be worthy of sharing this ring with the best in the business. You can forge your path to immortality, you can finally stop being the punchline and start being the headline. But know this, to earn your spot at the top of the food chain, you will have to go beyond your limits, I will not hold back, I will take any avenue I need to, this isnāt a pro-wrestling matchā¦ this is a fight. I will break you down in ways you never knew possible, I will do anything to stand between you and your prize ā { Suddenly Shimmy Shimmy Ya blasts out the P.A. system and the crowd goes absolutely apoplectic as Allen Chaney marches out defiantly onto the stage. Verona turns and scowls as he looks up at his opponent who is soaking in and riling up the rabid fanbase who are going nuts for him. Chaney stares down the ramp and begins to make a beeline for the ring and marches straight at the members of Legion. As he gets closer a few break their ranks and lunge for Allen who lays them out with a series of blows, planting not one, not two, but four! More step forward as Chaney continues to throw fists and the crowd goes absolutely wild. Chaney keeps fighting before suddenly Verona raises the microphone. } Roberto Verona: Enough! { Suddenly the Legion members stop in their tracks, slowly reforming as those who took vicious blows pick themselves back up and march back as well. Suddenly, they move in unison to open up a pathway for Allen. Chaney looks back and forth before marching defiantly between them as he climbs the ring, looking right at Verona who takes a number of steps back to allow Chaney to enter. Allen climbs in, walking around as he continues to get roared at by the crowd before retrieving a microphone and look directly at Verona. } Allen Chaney: Do you want to know a little secret, Verona? I never actually wanted you to stop. I never actually wanted us to be āeven.ā See, I have a theory. You donāt have to say anything or nod or agree with me, I just needed to come out here and look in your eyes when I say this. { Allen steps forward. } Allen Chaney: I think the moment that Serenity, Canin and J-TV agreed to do your dirty work in exchange for a favour or two, you lost a good measure of respect for them. I think you also understand by now that you could offer my five title shots, three months of paid vacation including a paid honeymoonā¦ { He pauses. } Allen Chaney: And Iād turn it down just to keep my one shot at getting you in this ring one-on-one. { Allen looks directly into Veronaās eyes and slowly a smile creeps across his face. Roberto looks right back at him, throwing his microphone to the mat as the crowd goes wild with the pair standing face to face, neither moving an inch as the camera pans out to reveal each of them stood beneath a slowly swaying Joker in the Pack briefcase. The crowd noise remains at fever pitch as we slowly fade to a commercial break. }
------------------------------- SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH 1000 Word Promo Limit (Unlimited Character Development) Each If Nick Danger, TJ Alexander or RAM secure a pinfall or submission they will decide the stipulation for the IWF Gladiators #1 Contendership Match at Legacy Nick Danger, TJ Alexander and RAM vs. Hellscream, Mr. Happy and Solomon Khan -------------------------------
The bell rings, and Nick Danger starts off against Mr. Happy. Dangerās speed and agility are on full display as he avoids Mr. Happyās wild swings, countering with quick strikes and a spinning heel kick. Mr. Happy, however, absorbs the blows with a disturbing grin, eventually catching Danger off guard with a vicious knee to the midsection, followed by a snap suplex.
Mr. Happy tags in Hellscream, who immediately goes to work on Danger with heavy strikes and a spine-shattering backbreaker. Danger is in trouble, but he fights back, ducking a clothesline and hitting Hellscream with a dropkick. He scrambles to his corner and tags in TJ Alexander, who enters the ring with a burst of energy.
TJ Alexanderās technical expertise is on full display as he outmaneuvers Hellscream, locking him in a series of holds and transitions. He nearly gets Hellscream in a crossface, but Hellscream powers out and tags in Solomon Khan. Khan enters the ring like a freight train, running through TJ with a shoulder tackle that sends him flying across the ring.
Khan dominates with his power, tossing TJ around the ring like a ragdoll. But TJās resilience shines through as he escapes a powerbomb attempt, landing behind Khan and delivering a surprise enzuigiri. With Khan staggered, TJ makes the hot tag to RAM.
RAM charges in, unleashing his pent-up aggression on Khan. He levels Khan with a clothesline, then knocks Mr. Happy off the apron for good measure. RAM shows his raw strength by lifting Khan for a massive powerslam, shaking the ring with the impact.
The match descends into chaos as all six men brawl in the ring. Nick Danger and TJ Alexander team up to take down Hellscream with a double superkick, while RAM battles Khan. Mr. Happy tries to interfere, but Danger cuts him off with a diving crossbody from the top rope, sending both men crashing to the floor.
In the final moments, TJ and Khan are the legal men. TJ, feeding off the crowdās energy, sets up Khan for his finishing move, Game Over going for the coverā1, 2, 3.
Nick Danger, TJ Alexander, and RAM are victorious, standing tall as the crowd roars in approval. Hellscream, Mr. Happy, and Solomon Khan retreat, licking their wounds and plotting their revenge. The match has been a wild, hard-hitting spectacle, with the young trio of Danger, Alexander, and RAM proving they can hang with the most dangerous opponents in the business.
------------------------------- SEGMENT 2000 Word Limit Participants: Nate Harris and Abraxes IWF Gladiator's champion Nate Harris signs a contract to defend his belt against Abraxes. -------------------------------
{ We come back from the commercials to see Nate Harris sitting at a table in the ring with a contract in front of him while a suit-clad Willy Carter stands nearby. }
Willy Carter: We are here tonight to oversee the contract signing for the Gladiator Title match between Nate Harris and Abraxes.
{ Willy lifts a hand to tug at his shirt collar a little bit. }
Willy Carter: As you can see, we already have the champ here. Lets bring his challenger out here.
Nate Harris: Ya, let's get this spooky cryptid bitch out here already.
{ The lights in the arena flicker and die as if there were some kind of power outage. As the light sounds of an acoustic guitar play, the high pitched laughter of children fills the air. A red spotlight shines on the stage as heavy smoke rolls across the floor. As opening lyrics of Monster (Under my Bed) by Call me Karizma starts to sing. However, there is no sign of Abraxes coming from backstage. The music continues to play as Willy looks nervously towards Nate, who rolls his eyes.Abraxesā music continues to play but we see no sign of them appearing anywhere as the crowd murmurs. }
Willy Carter: Uh, well this is awkward. Does anyone know where he is?
Nate Harris: Nah, fuck that. Been dealing with this spooky bitch this whole month. Iām tired of it, and Iām tired of his bullshit. Get you and your bad medicine the fuck out here already so we can make this official and I can kick your weak juggalo lookin ass already.
{ The lights suddenly cut out and the noise of the crowd rises in anticipation. }
Willy Carter: Nope!
{ There are two large pops of sound as both mics are dropped to the ground. The lights flick back on with Nate out of his chair and looking behind him. But Abraxes is standing on the table facing his back. We can see Willy has bailed from the ring and is moving quickly backstage. Abraxes leaps down from the table and tags Nate from behind with a lariat that spins the man through the air. The monster is quick to follow up, crouching above Nate as they lay into Nate with their fists to beat the man bloody. They grab a handful of Nateās hair and lift his head to face the camera, revealing the crimson mask that covers the champion's face before they wipe their hand through his blood. Abraxes stands then, looking out over the crowd as they boo and jeer him before walking over to smear the bloody handprint across the contract. }
------------------------------- IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP TAG TEAM MATCH Bella Morte vs. Dixie and Jolene Winston -------------------------------
The bell rings, and Abby starts off against Jolene. The two women lock up in the center of the ring, and it quickly becomes a test of strength. Abby gains the upper hand, using her power to drive Jolene into the corner. Jolene fights back with a series of stiff forearm strikes, forcing Abby to retreat. The match is physical from the start, with both women exchanging heavy blows.
Jolene tags in Dixie, who enters the ring with a burst of energy. She ducks under a clothesline from Abby and springs off the ropes, delivering a flying forearm that staggers her opponent. Dixie follows up with quick strikes and a spinning heel kick, but Abby catches her mid-air and slams her to the mat with authority. Abby tags in Eternity, who steps over the top rope and into the ring with a menacing presence.
Eternity immediately takes control, using her size and power to dominate Dixie. She lifts Dixie effortlessly and throws her into the corner, then charges in with a big boot. Dixie crumples to the mat, but when Eternity goes for the pin, Dixie manages to kick out at two, showing her resilience.
The crowd rallies behind the Winston sisters as Dixie fights to make the tag. She escapes Eternityās grasp with a clever roll-through and dives to her corner, tagging in Jolene. Jolene comes in like a house of fire, taking down Eternity with a series of clotheslines and a powerful spinebuster. The momentum shifts as Jolene and Dixie double-team Eternity, using quick tags and teamwork to wear her down.
But Eternity wonāt stay down for long. She powers out of a double suplex attempt, tossing both sisters aside. She tags in Abby, and the two women go on the offensive. Abby takes down Jolene with a brutal German suplex, while Eternity floors Dixie with a big boot.
The match reaches its climax as all four women brawl in the ring. The referee struggles to maintain order as the action spills into chaos. Jolene and Dixie manage to isolate Abby, hitting her with a double DDT that leaves her reeling. But just as they go for the pin, Eternity breaks it up, pulling Dixie off her lover and throwing her out of the ring with a thunderous chokeslam.
In the final moments, Abby and Eternity regain control. Abby lifts Jolene for a devastating Abigail delivers a Dead Stop (Facebreaker Knee Smash) to disorient Jolene who then bounces and is spun haplessly from the impact into The Last Rites (Pedigree) from Eternity. Jolene is down, and Abby hooks the leg for the pinā1, 2, 3.
Abby and Eternity are victorious, standing tall in the ring as the crowd reacts with a mix of awe and respect. Jolene and Dixie, though defeated, are helped to their feet by the referee, their resilience and fighting spirit evident to all. The match has been a brutal, hard-fought battle, showcasing the toughness and determination of both teams.
------------------------------- SEGMENT 2000 Word Limit Participants: Dean Harper, The Murder, Pandora Freeman-Hall and Rob Diamond the Murder issues an open challenge to Dean Harper for Legacy... but they're joined by Dean's recent unexpected protector Rob Diamond, what does The Murder have in store? -------------------------------
{The Camera comes onto the commentary table.}
Iyo Kenshin: Welcome back from the break everyone.
Rayne: Our next match-
{The lights throughout the arena flicker and go black, with several of the lights around the entrance seeming to overload, sending sparks flying down the stage. One by one, the screens flicker back to life showing a harvest moon hanging in a cloudy sky as the sound of fluttering wings and screaming crows fills the building. The screens soon swarm with the silhouettes of these birds, drowning out the moon and filling the arena once more in darkness as the opening strings of āThe Devilās Gonna Comeā by Raphael Lake & Royal Baggs begins to play.
āThe Broken and Fallen, dangled souls been sent to burn, Nowadays they been calling, telling me soon itās gonna be my turnā¦ā
A dark red spotlight hits the stage, revealing Brooklyn, Shea OāHara and Vivienne Daniels. They stand together, in stillness before Brooklyn raises a hand and snaps her fingers, igniting lines of flame down the sides of the entrance ramp before leading the advance with confident, inevitable certainty. .
āNow I knowā¦ the Devilās gonna come when the sun goes downā¦ā
The three of them surround the ring, Brooklyn stepping into the center as Vivienne and Shea follows. Red light and smoke fills the ringside as the three stand there, the music ends.}
Rayne: Nevermind, apparently the murder has something to say.
Brooklyn Madrox: For far long than should be allowed, Dean Harper ā¦ you've been a plague. Infecting this industry with your sins, sickening the men and women of IWF with your words and your actions; dragging everyone down into your pit of despair. But enough is enough, Dean. No more. Management has seen the light, and theyāve agreed to a special series just for you.
{Vivienne holds up some paperwork, with Shea, her best friend by her side.}
Vivienne Daniels: Every time you step into that ring, youāll be facing another member of the Murder, and let me tell you, we are hungry, we are vicious, and we got one missionāto make you pay for every single transgression youāve committed.
Brooklyn Madrox: You honestly thought that it would be this easy, Dean? That you could just walk away untouched? But thatās the thing isnāt it? You thought you could get away with everything, didnāt you, Dean? Look around you, Harper - the walls are closing in, and thereās no escape. Each week, another one of your enemies will step up to face you, to make you atone for your crimes ā¦ and theyāre coming for blood.
Vivienne Daniels: Youāve made your bed, Dean, and now itās time for you to lie in it. The Murder is coming, and your sins are about to be paid in full.
{One of the lights turn on at the ramp entrance, Dean Harper is standing there, hands in his pocket. Vivienne hands the paperwork to Brooklyn.}
Dean Harper: Yeah? Management signed off on that? Say less. Letās go.
{Dean walks through the clouds of smoke to the ring reaching for the paperwork. Itās hard to see anything through the smoke but just as heās about to be handed the paperwork the camera catches movement and Dean superkicks someone in the smoke before taking the paperwork from Brooklynās hand with a smile.}
Dean Harper: Donāt fucking play a player, little sister.
{Dean signs the papers and tosses them back at the three in the ring.}
Brooklyn Madrox: You donāt get to call me that anymore.
{Brooklyn snaps her fingers and we see a kendo stick being held by Pandora Freeman-Hall. She goes to wack Dean in the back of the head but āBad to the Bone by George Thorogoodā blares from the speakers as Rob Diamond comes down to the ring with a mic in his hand.}
Rob Diamond: Hold up one damn second Five Below Hell House LLC.
{Rob looks directly into the hard can and says āitās a movieā.}
Rob Diamond: Iām not about to sit in catering and let you all monologue Dean to death. Iām also not gonna let you make him your prison wife. Heās my prison wife. Amirite?
{Rob holds out his fist to Dean who shrugs and gives Rob the bump.}
Rob Diamond: As for Legacy? Well as yaāll know, Berto is my personal guardian angel and I went ahead and asked him for a favor. Dean isnāt gonna be stepping into the ring against the murder alone. Iām a be right there as the special guest referee! And let me tell yaāll. If you try something thereās gonna be something. And if you aināt down with that then weāve only got two words for ya.
{Rob holds up the mic as the crowd yells āsuck it!ā Brooklyn and Vivienne glare, clearly upset about this hiccup in step one of their plans. Pan having given Rob his Time Goes to smack Dean again who smoothly ducks the incoming swing and bails out staring as the blue haired woman who goes to follow , the camra seems to to be cut off by Brooklyn who is earned a stare so full of venom it speaks volumes as Pan keeps looking to get around The Murder to get to Dean, whatever sheās saying not heard by the noise of the crowd before she rolls away the bunch whatever is on her mind clearly put to pause for now.}
Iyo Kenshin: So you heard it here first, The Murder may have gotten some part of management to sign off on their free pass to come after Dean Harper but at least for Legacy, Rob Diamond is going to make sure itās a fair match.
Rayne: I doubt it will help.
------------------------------- TAG TEAM MATCH Caleb Cannin and Jason "J-TV" Hathway vs. Billie Parris and Phillip Deforrest ------------------------------- { The punchy synth beats of 'Yo Little Brother' begin to play over the speakers as the lights dim low. All of the screens go black, before displaying a static 'J-TV' logo. An entire camera crew file out onto the stage and point themselves towards the entryway as Jason Hathaway emerges with a personal security detail, wearing a leather jacket, gold chain, and a round pair of shades. He takes his time looking at each camera and posing slightly, before raising his hand and snapping his fingers right as the lyrics to his song kick in. }
"Yo, Yo, Little Brother, watcha out here tryna' discover? Yo, Yo, Little Brother. You're gonna get it from your dad and your mother."
{ The lights go bright again, spinning and flashing wildly as the screens switch from the static logos to live feeds from the camera crew as they follow Jason marching down to the ring with a cocky sneer on his face. Hathaway takes off his sunglasses as he reaches ringside and tosses them into the crowd as he hops up onto the apron and jumps over the top rope into the ring. The security detail enter the ring behind him as he spreads his arms, taking off his jacket and chain for him. }
"Yo, Yo, Little Brother, watcha out here tryna' discover? Yo, Yo, Little Brother. It's gonna hurt you, one way or another."
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, this tag team match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, weighing in at 220 poundsā¦ JASON āJ-TVā HATHAWAY!
Iyo Kenshin: And as you can see, Jason Hathaway is surrounded by security after a vicious assault on Allen Chaney last week!
Rayne: Well, when you reach the level of stardom that J-TV has, you always have to keep eyes in the back of your head for any jealous attackers!
Iyo Kenshin: I think Roberto Verona is more worried about what Allen Chaney will do to two of his prospects than anything else!
{ The lights go down as a low mist begins to emanate from the entrance ramp. A muted guitar riff plays as a hooded figure emerges out of the darkness. A white spotlight turns on to illuminate the figure from behind. The guitar, now with added drums, starts to pick up as the figure crouches lowā¦ }
Iyo Kenshin (whispering): Wha-
Rayne (whispering): Shut up, Iyo!
āSICK!ā
{ Lights come back on as the figure pops up, whipping back the hood. The figure is revealed to be Caleb Cannin, who promptly walks down the entrance ramp. }
Rayne: Wow! A new entrance for Hathaway AND Cannin?! I must be dreaming, Iyo!
Iyo Kenshin: Seems like another step in the evolution of both these men. Whether thatās forwards or backwards, that might be up to interpretationā¦
{ āS!CKā by The Warning continues to play as Cannin slowly makes his way to the ring. Once heās at the ring steps, he takes off his jacket and looks off to the crowd, then a ringside attendant. He gives a sly smirk before simply folding it up and placing it down by his corner. }
Alison Valance: And his tag team partner, from Washington, D.C., weighing at 219 poundsā¦ CALEB CANNIN!
Iyo Kenshin: Notice how he wasnāt called The Future that time, Rayne?
Rayne: Itās called rebranding, Iyo, you should learn about it!
{ Cannin meets up with Hathaway and the two share a brief handshake. They look over at the opposite corner, revealing- }
Alison Valance: And their opponents, already in the ring, Billie Parris and Phillip Deforrest!
{ Parris and Deforrest wave to the crowd, all smiles as they ready themselves for the match. However, before they can turn to face-off with Caleb and Jason, the two men rush them. Cannin knocks Parris off the apron whilst J-TV beats down on Deforrest in the corner. The bell rings as Cannin slithers back to his teamās corner, whilst Hathaway drags Phillip into the center of the ring. J-TV knees Deforrest in the gut, right before running off the ropes and dropkicking his legs out from under him. Parris climbs back to the apron, but he can only watch helplessly as Jason whips his partner into the opposing corner. Hathaway makes the tag before shoving Deforrest out towards the center again. Once there, Deforrest is able to rise to his feet briefly before Caleb and Jason surround him. The duo hit Phillip with simultaneous enzuiguris! Deforrest collapses on the mat before Cannin goes to cover.
ONEā¦
TWOā¦
Deforrest kicks out!
Caleb simply shakes his head at the kick-out. He grabs Phillipās arm and twists it behind his back with a hammerlock. Billie, trying to draw some support from the crowd, claps his hands repeatedly. The audience begins to join in on the clapping whilst Deforrest slowly fights to his feet. An elbow to the gut breaks Canninās hammerlock. Deforrest rebounds off the ropes to try and lay out his opponent, but Caleb rears back and turns Phillip inside out with a lariat! As Deforrest lies on the canvas, Cannin takes his arm and mockingly reaches it out towards Parris. Parris attempts to get into the ring to stand up to Caleb, but the referee admonishes the illegal entry. Meanwhile, Hathaway joins Cannin in the ring and helps him double team Deforrest. Caleb lifts up Phillip for a powerbomb and J-TV assists him with a neckbreaker! Parris, visibly upset, gets back to the apron whilst Cannin makes the tag to Jason. As soon as Jason hits the ring, he charges at Deforrest and hits a Cord Cutter! Hathaway turns to the crowd, who promptly boo him. However, Billie has had enough and attacks J-TV from behind! He shoves Jason to the outside as Deforrest is laid out on the mat. The referee tries to wrangle Parris back to his corner, but Cannin takes the opportunity to run offense. He charges Billie and hits him with a picture-perfect dropkick! As Parris is kicked out of the ring by Cannin, J-TV is back up to the apron. He gestures to Caleb, who nods and pounces on Phillip. Cannin picks up Deforrest in a wheelbarrow position, holding him up in place. J-TV slingshots off the apron and hits Deforrest with the Sign-Off, in conjunction with Caleb slamming him down for the assist! He slinks back to the apron as Hathaway gives a confident cover!
ONEā¦
TWOā¦
THREE!
The bell rings as Hathaway celebrates, whilst Cannin joins in and wraps his arms around his partner. The team each plant a foot on the chest of the fallen Deforrest, with Parris clutching his jaw on the outside. Caleb makes a quick gesture with his hands, forming an M, D and an I with them. }
Caleb Cannin: Thatās modern day influence, baby! Woo!
Alison Valance: Here are your winners, Caleb Cannin and Jason Hathaway!
Rayne: What synergy! What teamwork! This may be a pair that could go a long way in this company, Iyo!
Iyo Kenshin: If they keep up their underhanded tactics, they just mightā¦
------------------------------- SEGMENT 2000 Word Limit Participants: Warren Harper, Jennie Fenix, Pax Stormcrow and Charlotte Shimizu The IWF World champions meet their challengers the Heir and Heiress to the Throne for the final time before their scheduled title matches at IWF Legacy. -------------------------------
{ The scene opens up on Pax and Willy sitting on an interview stage with an IWF Odyssey backdrop behind them. Willy is dressed in a suit while Pax is wearing an āIron Heiressā t-shirt. }
Willy Carter: Pax, thanks so much for taking some time out to speak with me.
Pax Stormcrow: Willy, my man. Itās always a pleasure. Think nothing of it.
Willy Carter: Of course, of course. So you recently made history, becoming the first back to back Heir to the Throne and the first menās competitor to do it twice. Thatās gotta feel good. Care to talk about it?
{ Pax laughs softly and shook his head. }
Pax Stormcrow: I mean it feels unreal, obviously. That someone like me was able to go out and make history like that? Itās crazy. Donāt get me wrong, I busted my ass in and out of the ring to get to where I am today. But it still feels unreal.
Willy Carter: I donāt doubt it. Next week it all comes up for you when you challenge Warren for the title. Do you think youāre ready?
Pax Stormcrow: I try to always be ready. I live and breathe wrestling. I always have. Iāve had my ups and downs but Iāve known that this is what I wanted to do with my life. And Iāve been there before too, even if my reign was disappointing. But if Iām being honest thatās just driving me harder. I have to make up for my failures my last time with the championship. I know I still have my doubters and I need to prove them wrong.
Willy Carter: Youāve had some strong words for the champ. Do you want to speak on that?
Pax Stormcrow: Look, I got problems with a lot of people in this company. People who out here acting the hero, trying to present themselves as the good folx right? But they arenāt. They are just as selfish and cowardly as any of the assholes in the world. Just hypocrisy up and down. Itās not just Warren, but heās been doing this shit the longest and honestly Iām tired of it. Doing the right thing isnāt easy. It never is. It takes effort. It takes work. Work and effort that Iāve put in. Iām not perfect, but Iāve never claimed to be. Iām just out here doing my best and it bothers me seeing people slipping.
Willy Carter: In a similar vein, youāve shown some uncharacteristic aggression lately.
{ Pax laughs again and shakes his head. }
Pax Stormcrow: I mean ya. You right. Iām still the same guy though. Iām just not willing to sit by and let the scum of the world get away with their shit. I mean, look around at the world Willy. Canāt really afford to stand back. You gotta be willing to fight for what you believe. Iām still that same bright hearted guy. But only for people that deserve it. People that put in an effort to try and make the world or themselves better.
Willy Carter: Does that include Warren?
Pax Stormcrow: Come on Willy. You see who he hangs out with.
Willy Carter: Well, thanks again for taking the time to speak with me Pax, I really do appreciate it.
Pax Stormcrow: Of course. Thank you Willy. Love workin with ya bro.
{ The two reach up to undo their mics as the camera slowly fades to black. }
{We are taken via satellite feed to what looks like an executive conference room at a high priced Japanese hotel. Warren Kidd is dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt and navy blue tie and waistcoat combination. Subtle layers of foundation even out his facial skin tone, hiding much of the bruising and still not fully healed scarring he sustained from last weekās beating at the hands of an irate and fiercely territorial Cyrus Daniels. Outwardly, he was still a handsome devil, determined to carry himself as the better man and an even better World Champion.
He is sat at the head of a vacant conference table, with his precious World Championship belt sat in front of him. Either side of Warren stood a couple ofmasked members of Veronaās Legion security force, an extra order of protection granted to him in order to ensure Warren made it to Legacy in one piece for his scheduled defense. Verona could not risk losing both his scheduled main events at the biggest show of the summer.}
Warren Kidd: I know Iāve been doing this a lot more than Iād like recently, but please allow me to start my scheduled appearance here tonight with yet another sincere heartfelt apology. I regret that I canāt be at the arena in person tonight, but I just canāt afford to jeopardise this Sundayās money main event any more than I already have by potentially being jumped by anybody else who is on the warpath and determined to make me pay for my soon to be ex-husband Dean Harperās unpardonable sins.
{Warren takes a moment to clear his throat and adjust his tie.}
Warren Kidd: It would seem that Mr Verona shares my concerns in this regard, and it is at his insistence that I have been granted extra protection as you can quite plainly see. Mr Verona has an investment to protect, so the Legion is more about safeguarding the biggest main event in Legacy history than it is about showing me any particular favouritism. Itās a shrewd business move from one of the sharpest corporate minds in our industry, and once I understood his reasoning I couldnāt fault it.
{Warren smiles.}
Warren Kidd: Besides, my opponent, the two time consecutive Heir To The Throne, Pax Stormcrow has already gone on record questioning my moral integrity and the kinds of associations I choose to keep because none of them fit his lofty ideals of friendship apparently, so I figured if heās going to take issue with who I surround myself with anyway, I have nothing to lose by cashing in on a little corporate benefit. Something Pax canāt really fault me for, as I understand he has his own corporate masters to answer to, so surely whatās good enough for the goose is good enough for the gander, right? Ultimately, the way I see it, we can either waste time pointlessly sniping each other back and forth with inconsequential crap about who we keep in our respective social circles, or we can focus on what really matters and that is ensuring we live up to the hype as two men at the very top of their game today competing for the richest prize in our industry at one of the biggest shows of the IWF calendar year, Legacy.
{Warren sits back slightly in his chair, tugging his waistcoat to smooth it out.}
Warren Kidd: I know which Iād prefer, Pax. How about you, sunshine?
{The scene opens up on Charlotte and Maria Iniesta sitting on an interview stage with an IWF Odyssey backdrop behind them. Maria is wearing a pastel skirt suit while Charlotte sports a Team Diversity Hire shirt and flowy black palazzo pants.}
Maria Iniesta: Iām sitting with this yearās Iron Heiress, the Iron Hawk, Charlotte Shimizu. Charlotte, itās nice to finally get to spend some time with you.
{Charlotte smiled pleasantly at Maria.}
Charlotte Shimizu: Itās nice to meet you as well, Ms Iniesta.
Maria Iniesta: I wonāt torture you with asking questions you answered a month ago, but Iām sure what everyone is dying to know is how you feel about Jennie Fenixās medical status, and what you think about possibly getting the Championship without having a match.
{Charlotteās grimace is obvious. The muscles in her jaw work as she clearly tries to calm down from saying anything on reflex.}
Charlotte Shimizu: Let me answer the second question first. The idea of getting the title without fighting for it is anathema to me. That pretty new title everyoneās given me is something I earned, not handed to me, because Iām the only woman thus far to have won both the Iron Maiden and Heiress to the Throne in the same year.
Iām sure no one is surprised that Iāve thought about this and I would rather have a match and lose than just be handed something I havenāt truly earned. Anyone I would face after being just handed the title would say I havenāt earned it and theyād be right. I would wind up spending my entire potential reign as champion dealing with those accusations. Iām not about to leave that door open to them.
If Jennie Fenix is truly unfit to compete, then there are a number of options I can think of off the top of my head. I could prove myself against the only other woman in this company thatās won both the Iron Maiden and the Heiress to the Throne, Eternityā¦ Though Iāll note she didnāt do that in the same year like I have.
{Charlotte smiles slightly, almost a smirk of confidence as she mentions that factoid.}
Charlotte Shimizu: But sheās got other priorities. No judgment. Donāt blame her at all. It was my choice to prioritize my solo career over East Wind, and not one I made lightly.
So who else could I fight to avoid the obvious problem of just being handed the title? You could drag up any of the former womensā champions and even that would be better than no match at all.
Thereās one clear and obvious option; this yearās Queenās Gambit holder and backstabbing champion, Shea OāHara.
{Itās clear that Maria wants to comment on that option but Charlotte moves on quickly, waving the topic away.}
Charlotte Shimizu: But honestly? I think the whole question is moot. I donāt think Jennie will actually be unfit to compete, and Iāll get the rematch I earned by winning the tournament. I think this is Jennie playing mind-games to make me think of things like who else might get thrown at me and not her.
Iāll fully admit that I had divided priorities for Night of the Immortals. She knows how close I came, even with that, to winning the title off her then. I think sheās trying to make lightning strike twice because she knows that the Murder isnāt around to distract me this time. She knows my eyes are on her and only herā¦ And Iām not about to blink.
------------------------------- MAIN EVENT TAG TEAM MATCH Serenity Holmes and Natasha Walker vs. Savage Kingdom (Black Widow and Stephen Terrella) -------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following tag team contest is the main event of the evening and is scheduled for one fall or television time remaining!
{"Synthetic Sympathy" by Trash Boat immediately explodes from the arena's surrounding systems, sparking a positive reaction from the audience. The bass and repeated opening lyrics synchronize with the lights flashing around the venue's interior, leading to Serenity Holmes sprinting from the backstage area to center stage, where the fans of the Action Wrestling universe greet her. She stands center stage before taking off her hat and throwing it into the fans for amusement until looking down the entrance path, where she takes off into a run for the mere moment of interactions on her fast-paced run to the ring.}
Alison Valance: "Introducing, on her way to the ring! Hailing from Houston, Texas! At five feet, seven inches tall, weighing in at 127 pounds. She is "22nd Century Girl" Serenity Holmes!"
{Serenity slides under the bottom rope before unloading onto her feet, where she quickly hops onto the middle turnbuckle of an unoccupied corner to greet the fans at ringside. She flips her hair and throws up a peace sign with her tongue hanging out while winking at the camera. Serenity hops down and lands on her feet before running around the ring to show love to every possible fan in the atmosphere before staying in her designated corner, waiting for the next moment.}
Iyo Kenshin: Rayne, our Invictus Champion clearly looks confident tonight, despite being teamed with, in her own words: a ghost of her haunted past. Do you think there is any chance these two women can get on the same page long enough to defeat the World Tag Team Champions?
Rayne: If Natasha listens to Serenity, and does absolutely everything the champ says, they have a great chance, Iyo. Serenity is clearly the brains on this team. If Natasha wants to go off-script and do things her own way though, Savage By Nature will rip Natasha and Serenity apart.
{Alison Valance readies herself for another introduction as we catch a glimpse of Serenity looking up at the top of the ramp.}
Alison Valance: And her tag team partner...
{"Riot" starts to roll the Distinctive drums into the arena as the lights dim, before stepping out the back in her outfit comes Natasha on time with the Scream in the track the thin "webbing" on her outfit lit up by UV as she bops to the beat and moves down the Ramp.}
Alison Valance: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Queens, New York. She stands five feet, six inches tall... she is the "Techno Tsuchigumo"... she is Natasha Walker!
{Natasha takes a moment to hop to sit on the top rope Facing the crowd in a corner before draping backwards slowly to hang herself back and the use her extraordinary flexibility to pitch back onto her feet with a smile.}
Iyo Kenshin: Going back to your earlier point, Rayne, I feel you're being incredibly unfair to Natasha by anointing Serenity as the captain of this team. I understand Serenity is the Invictus Champion; but Natasha is also her challenger at Legacy, and in just a few short days, it may be Natasha that we're calling champion.
Rayne: Ok, Iyo, let me break this down so even you can understand it. Natasha claims the reason she wants to be in this match is to test herself against Stephen Terrella. This close to an opportunity to wear gold, that isn't something a sane person says. It isn't something a smart person says! Terrella is big, he's mean, and he won't think twice about hurting Walker.
Iyo Kenshin: She faced Tytus Rost, and she's still here. I am confident she'll be just fine.
{There already seems to be some tension between Serenity and Natasha in their corner as they await their opponents.}
Alison Valance: And their opponents...
{The lights are dimmed as the opening to "Angry Again" by The Volatile begins to play. Shrouded in near darkness, the Black Widow crawls out from behind the curtain, stopping on the cusp of the ramp. Stephen Terrella and Portia slowly walk out behind her, holding hands as they take a place a few feet behind her, making out with each other in a very over-the-top public display of affection. Looking around the arena, Brandy stays on her knees, arms extended as she arches her back in a way that her upper body falls backwards. Thirty-seven seconds into the song, just before the lyrics start, Brandy thrusts her torso upward with a jolt. Stephen and Portia look towards the ring in unison with the Black Widow. Savage By Nature begins a slow, purposeful walk toward the ring, catching an earful from the crowd as they proceed.}
The more of you that I inspect The more of me I see reflect The more I try to read your lips The more the mask you're wearing rips But when I seek out your voice My ears are overcome with noise You show and tell with greatest ease Raving impossibilities Engaged in crime I grasp my throat Enraged my mind starts to smoke Enforce a mental overload Angry again, angry again, angry owe!
{Both Stephen and the Black Widow time it out so that when the song begins another instrumental at the two minute and sixteen seconds mark, Brandy is sliding underneath the ropes, and Stephen Terrella is pacing across the apron. }
Alison Valance: Entering the ring, accompanied by Portia, weighing in at a total combined weight of 418 poundsā¦ Stephen Terrellaā¦ and his partner, the Black Widowā¦ Savage By Nature!!
{Stephen enters the squared circle, a menacing scowl on his face. He turns, arms open, to taunt the crowd, before spitting in their general direction. After unfastening one of the World Tag Team Championships from around his waist, Terrella turns around and blasts Natasha in the head with the belt before the bell has even rung! The Black Widow goes after Serenity as Terrella puts the boots to Natasha while she is on the canvas!}
Rayne: Savage By Nature doing what they have been known to do in the past, and that's taking the fight straight to their opponents!
Iyo Kenshin: Blindsiding an unsuspecting opponent with a title belt is far from what I would consider taking a fight to an opponent, Rayne. It is, however, the entire Savage Kingdom's Modus operandi.
{Terrella lifts Natasha up off the canvas, pressing her over his head, high in the air, and dumping her out to the floor the hard way! Serenity Holmes is starting to battle back against the Black Widow, trying to fight out of the corner with forearm blows to Cvetkova's chest. The Black Widow goes to Serenity's eyes, digging her fingers deep into the Invictus Champion's sockets. Terrella charges, and Cvetkova releases just in time to allow Terrella to engulf Holmes against the turnbuckles with a "Silver Crush! Stephen lifts Serenity up onto his shoulders into a fireman's carry with ease. He holds her up there as the Black Widow runs the ropes to drive her boot into Holmes' skull with a single leg dropkick!}
Iyo Kenshin: Blue Shoes is trying to establish some order so we can start this contest. Thanks to that belt shot to Natasha by Terrella, this has been almost all Savage By Nature so far, has Serenity has found herself all alone in the ring.
Rayne: She may not have the intelligence to do it; but if I'm Natasha, I'd lay outside that ring for the rest of the night. If there is anything left of Serenity come Legacy, that would allow Natasha to make short work of it.
{Blue Shoes asserts his authority, giving Terrella a stern talking to. Terrella gives the official a one-handed shove in the chest before making his way to the apron. The Black Widow stomps down on Serenity's face, holding her foot there long enough to try to rearrange Serenity's facial features with a Spinning Boot Scrape. The Black Widow mounts Holmes, throwing fists to her face with unrelenting fury. Blue Shoes finally steps in to interrupt Cvetkova, trying to pull her off to start the match. The Black Widow gets aggressive with Blue Shoes, shoving him away just as Terrella did earlier. Serenity gets up onto her hands and knees, yelling for the referee to ring the bell. Blue Shoes seems half-reluctant; but obliges.}
Ding!
{The Black Widow almost immediately rakes Serenity's back before grabbing two handfuls of Serenity's hair to use as handles to deliver a headbutt to the back of the Invictus Champion's head. Cvetkova walks around Serenity, almost stalking her prey as she moves in front of her. Natasha finds her way back up into her and Serenity's corner as the Black Widow puts Serenity's head between her legs and delivers a piledriver! The Widow licks Holmes' face before making a cover. Blue Shoes quickly slides into position for a count. The senior official's hand slaps the mat two times before Serenity kicks out of the pin!}
{Walker is bouncing on the apron with an outstretched arm, desperate to get in the match. The Black Widow bites down on Serenity's forehead, trying to prevent any chance of that. Blue Shoes warns the Widow about the biting before starting a count on her. She lets go just in time to avoid disqualification, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand before smiling at the official. The crowd boos as the Mistress of Mayhem brings the "22nd Century Girl" to her feet. The Black Widow unleashes a knife-edge chop across Serenity's chest that echoes throughout the building, backing Holmes into the ropes. Cvetkova shoots Holmes across the ring; but she ducks her head a split-second too early, and Holmes drives a kick into the Black Widow's face to stand her upright! Serenity uses her speed, along with her MMA-influenced training, to deliver some hard knees to both sides of the Black Widow's body, backing Brandy into a neutral corner. The emotional Holmes tags the Black Widow in the face with a closed fist, enabling her time to hang the Black Widow's left leg over the middle rope and deliver a punishing kick to her hamstring. The Widow grimaces before falling to the canvas, laughing through the pain as she clutches her leg on the canvas. Serenity goes on the attack, repeatedly stomping down on the Black Widow's leg. Natasha yells out for Serenity to tag her. Holmes looks at her partner with some hesitation before finally pulling Brandy up, leading her to the Holmes/Walker corner by the hair, then smashing her face into the top turnbuckle. Natasha puts a hand out, which Serenity reluctantly tags.}
{Showing a bit of teamwork, Serenity holds the Black Widow in the corner for Natasha as the former gymnast enters to a massive pop from the crowd. Natasha moves to the center so she can come in hard on the Black Widow with a Cartwheel Back elbow in the corner. Serenity steps out so Natasha can take over on the Black Widow, which Natasha does by bringing the Black Widow out of the corner with a butterfly suplex! Natasha goes into a cover, hooking the leg of the Black Widow. Blue Shoes slides into position for a count. His hand slaps the mat twice before the Black Widow kicks out! Terrella paces halfway down the apron and back as Portia's presence also looms on the outside. Natasha brings the companies' other spidergirl back to her feet. Nat delivers a hard back elbow to the jaw of Brandy, rocking the Mistress of Mayhem. Walker delivers a kick to the Black Widow's midsection, doubling her over, setting her up for... "Facejam!" Portia looks on in dismay from the outside as Natasha makes a cover on Cvetkova again. The official slides into position for a count. He reaches a count of two when a boot to the back of Natasha from Terrella interrupts the count to loud boos. Blue Shoes warns Terrella out of the ring, getting a middle finger from the surly bruiser in response.}
Iyo Kenshin: Terrella showing nothing but disrespect to the venerable Blue Shoes, Rayne! The official is simply trying to do the job he is being paid to do.
Rayne: Zebras are worthless, Iyo. Lighten up. Mr. Verona could hire a guy named Green Gloves tomorrow to replace Blue, and no one would care.
{While Terrella and the official are arguing, the Black Widow starts rolling toward the ropes. Natasha goes after her; but the Widow keeps rolling to the floor, baiting Natasha into a trap. When Walker reaches through the ropes to try to grab Cvetkova, the Widow pulls Natasha's throat down against the middle rope. The Black Widow goes back up inside the ring, tagging Terrella. Portia applauds as her man enters the ring. Terrella yells for Natasha to "get the fuck up" as Natasha goes to stand. Terrella allows it, wanting to fight Natasha on their feet. Natasha doesn't show an ounce of back down once she regains her breath. She loosens herself up a little before going for a lock up. Terrella shoves her down out of the lock up with his power, rolling her back toward the Walker/Holmes corner, where Serenity slaps Natasha on the back for a tag! Natasha looks back at her partner, less than pleased.}
Rayne: The captain is coming in!
Iyo Kenshin: She is not the captain, Rayne. We are going to see our current Invictus Champion lock up with our first-ever Invictus Champion, though!
{Terrella smirks at Serenity as Holmes shakes her hand out, seemingly looking like she is going to give the tie-up a try. Serenity ducks the tie-up, however, using her speed to move around and throw a kick to Terrella's side. Terrella eats the kick; but quickly wraps two hands around Serenity's throat and throws her back into the Walker/Holmes corner with a choke toss! This time Natasha slaps Serenity across the back for a blind tag, and Serenity doesn't appear at all happy about that! The two teammates begin arguing with each other as Natasha re-enters the ring.}
Iyo Kenshin: Natasha isn't going to be shown up, Rayne.
Rayne: She's being selfish, if you ask me.
{The two women continue to argue, and the argument gets more and more heated. Serenity finally throws up her hands and turns her back on Natasha. Walker shakes her head in frustration before she gets leveled from behind by Terrella, knocking Natasha into Serenity, which knocks Holmes to the canvas. The three-hundred-pound Terrella looms over Natasha, taking his time before he starts raining down cross-face style punches across her face. When the barrage stops, Natasha doesn't stop fighting. She wills herself to get up, only to find herself trapped in a bearhug by Terrella. Stephen shakes Natasha back-and-forth as Portia laughs on the outside. Serenity is up, though! She scales the turnbuckles in her corner, leaping off with a missle dropkick that hits her partner in the back to knock both Natasha and Terrella down! Natasha is free from Terrella's grasp...}
Iyo Kenshin: What in the hell is Serenity doing!? Holmes has just pounced on her own partner and is pounding Natasha with closed fists!
Rayne: I think it is safe to say that partnership has self-destructed! If anyone was printing merch, you might want to stop!
{Serenity continues to pound away at Natasha as Terrella catches a glimpse of what is going on from the canvas. The Black Widow enters the ring. However, she doesn't intervene. She simply watches as Serenity unleashes until Natasha turns the pile over and starts pounding away on Serenity with closed fists! Terrella gets up and, perhaps to the surprise of some, Savage By Nature both pull Natasha off of Serenity Holmes! Terrella and Cvetkova start putting boots to Natasha!}
Iyo Kenshin: That pack of jackals are helping Serenity Holmes now! What is the meaning of this!?
Rayne: If you have to pick a side, you pick the side backed by Roberto Verona. They know how to play the game, Iyo.
{The opening hook of "Blood//Water - Grandson" blares from the PA as Jack Ferriman and Nate Harris come sprinting down the aisle to a massive pop from the crowd! Jack hits the ring first, tackling the Black Widow to the ground! Nate goes right after Terrella, trading hands with the big man! Blue Shoes calls for the bell, throwing the whole match out.}
Ding! Ding! Ding!
{Serenity Holmes gets up and starts exchanging shots with her opponent at Legacy, Natasha Walker! They move around the ring, punching each other in the face at every turn!}
Ding! Ding! Ding!
{Ferriman nearly takes the Black Widow's head off with a big boot! Jack's momentum is short-lived, however, as Terrella cuts him in half with a spear! The crowd boos as Terrella gets up and spits on Jack. The tides quickly shift again when Nate Harris catches Terrella by surprise with 'Big Fun' to bring the crowd to their feet!}
Iyo Kenshin: The match has been ruled a no-contest... but we have a brawl on our hands now here in Tokyo! Natasha and Serenity have spilled to the outside and they're coming our way!
Rayne: Iyo, you might want to move before you have a woman on your lap for the first time in your life...
{Both Iyo and Rayne move just before Natasha Walker sends Serenity Holmes careening over the broadcast table! Up in the ring, Portia jumps on Nate's back, digging her fingernails into Harris' eyes! He tries to shake her as she claws at his face, finally throwing her off. The Black Widow kicks Nate low, then drops him with a Double Underhook DDT! Portia crawls for a corner, handing her shoe to Terrella as she passes. Terrella takes the shoe and hits Jack right between the eyes with the point of the heel. Terrella tells the Black Widow to get a steel chair. When the Black Widow goes to the outside for the chair, A high pitched female scream causes the lights to flicker in the arena. As the rebellious yell seamlessly transitions to a soft chilling female laughter, the lights die completely. In the darkness a lone voice questions.}
āNow I lay me down to sleep Six feet down beneath concrete If I should die before I wake Did I make peace or a mistake?ā
{During this question, the entranceway fills with purple smoke.}
Iyo Kenshin: The last thing we need is more chaos, but I think Bella Morte may be about to join the party.
{After the question, Abigail emerges from the coloured smoke alone, under a soft blue hue and to a mixed reaction. The lyrics of āAfterlifeā by Citizen Soldier accompany her walk down the ramp. She clenches her jaw before pausing in the middle of the ramp, dropping to her knees and looking heavenward. She flings her arms out either side of her, causing more purple smoke to fill the ramp before the lights go out again briefly.}
{When they return a few moments later, just after the chorus, Eternity is stood behind Abigail in her hat, veil and sleeveless black leather trench coat.}
Rayne: They're here, Iyo!
{The Black Widow doesn't hesitate to grab the steel chair and move straight for both Abigail and Eternity. She tries to come in with the chair, only to be met by a spear from Abigail! Bella Morte begin to get their licks in on the Black Widow. Left without his partner, Terrella starts to fall victim to the numbers game at the hands of Team Diversity Hire, a game Savage Kingdom has so often been on the other side of in the past. Serenity and Natasha spill out into the crowd, still fighting with each other.}
Iyo Kenshin: We are out of time, everyone! Please join us for Legacy, live, on the IWF network! Until then I'm Iyo Kenshin, alongside Rayne, signing off!
Rayne: And I'm getting out of here before someone punches me.
