Stage 1
"Breakfast Ceremony ~ BEAR YOUR SOUL"
RAM, a native Texan, always believed that everything was bigger in his ome state.
Yet as he was escorted into a private room at Auntie Em's Cafe and Massage, an establishment entangled in a web of non-descript buildings in Tokyo's Akihabara district? He was about to find out that in the anime capital of the world, things were about to go over-the-top. The three women in maid outfits all bowed to RAM as Emiko, the parlor's presumptive general manager, brought in a red robe, followed by a golden crown and scepter.
"Shiawase to yorokobi e no tokubetsu kĹŤsu e yĹŤkoso! Anata wa watashitachi no ĹŤsamadesu!"
"...wha, WHAT?!..."
RAM didn't need an English translation to figure out what the odd royalty garb meant. His eyes bugged out widely as a special piece of music began playing. A group of three men wearing chef's attire joined the three maids in the room, bowing to each other as Emiko apporached the perplexed 20-year-old.
"Tonight our dreams will all come true
Come with me
Past all the stars in the sky
To golden love and delight
A party that will never end"
She took RAM's hand and led him onto the floor.
"Now...it's DANCE TIME!!!"
"...pffft, WHAT!?! I...I can't--!!"
Before RAM could finish his sentence, he's pulled into the fray by Emiko, the maids, and the chefs, who all begin a highly-choreographed dance routine that only the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders could be proud of. In a scene that reminded him of the Halloween dance he had with Rydia five years prior, Marshall found himself struggling to keep up, dropping the scepter on the ground and bumbling over himself and the others.
"Check me, you know I'm royalty
My word's law—still I'm lonely
I just want a king, to get on his knees
Grovel for me—go on, get down
Move your body or get out
Move your body or get out
Hah! The king is here to rock
Hah! He's got this beat on lock
Think you got fresh moves?
Come on, bust a groove
Show me your passion
Bring us the heat
Now's your chance—prove that you're my king
Come on, boy. Come on, boy—dance!"
RAM looked embarrassed by the whole ordeal. He really, REALLY wanted to have a little chat with Fiona the next time they got together. He tried his damndest to hide the indignity of the showmanship he was experiencing, but some cracks in the armor began to show.
{ ...this is...this is just too much... }
Emiko and her staff were cheerful souls, helping guide RAM through the complex movements. RAM even started twirling his scepter in the air, eliciting laughter from all.
"Pack it up, boys; step off the battleground
The golden god is here; your king is now crowned
No rocks or rings can compare
To the king's blinding badass pure flair
Drowned in the light
Of the champion's might
Baring his soul in the night"
As RAM showed off more and more dance moves, he started to get the hang of the interactive nature of the ceremony.
"Feel the beat inside your heart
Music in time, feeling and rhyme
Bare your soul like the king"
The chefs jogged off to the kitchen, leaving RAM, Emiko, and the three maids to finish the rousing routine. For the first time, perhaps in his life, RAM began cracking a slight grin on his face as the song reached its climax.
"Bare your soul and get down tonight
Feel the heat, take the chance, dance!
Bare your soul and get down tonight
Keep it cool! You won't lose! Dance!
Bare your soul and get down tonight
Let it out! Scream and shout! Dance!
Bare your soul and live free tonight
Smile and sing, take a swing
Spread your wings—you're a king
Dance!"
Emiko and the maids applauded and cheered as RAM bowed to them. He was slowly starting to come out of his shell, but he knew that the Extra Special course was only beginning. The Auntie Em's GM smiled from ear to ear before snapping her fingers; the maids quickly whisked RAM to his table and sat him down. He found himself staring at all things gold -- yes, even the utensils themselves were gold. Emiko nodded warmly before making the following announcement.
"Bring on the feast!!"
On cue, the team of chefs walked out with RAM's breakfast forder -- a Japanese interpretation of a Southern-style cuisine consisting of fried eggs, fried potatoes, and plenty of smoked sausage and pancakes to keep him busy. RAM admired the presentation aspect of the plate itself before taking his first bite.
He loved every bit of it.
RAM savored every minute and every bite, taking sips from a piping hot mug of black coffee. He smiled from ear to ear as Emiko stepped into the picture with the maids collecting his empty dishes. She gently patted him on his shoulders before whispering in his ear.
"Now...time for a nice massage!"
To be continued...

Well, well...so lemme get this shit straight.
The clown show callin' themselves the suits have decided to toss me in a six-man tag with TJ Alexander and Nick Danger. They also decided that it'd be a really fun idea to allow us the pick a stipulation for a potential three-way Gladiator title contender match at Legacy, provided that we beat the opposition, of course. All I gotta ask is...what makes ANYONE think that TJ, Nick, and I are gonna somehow work together to beat the ever-lovin' piss outta Mr. Happy, Hellscream, and Solomon Khan?!
And I answer?!
There's no way in hell we're gonna work together.
Trust me...I know this 'cause I've never really been a team player my whole life. I don't like Nick or TJ, and that's just tough shit. Danger acts all goody-goody and TJ is like that award-shillin' jock from high school who always thinks less of those who ain't like him. Heh, I can be a general pain-in-the-ass as wel! The point bein'...y'all know it ain't gonna take long for us to beat the livin' shit outta each other.
'Cause we all know what's at stake.
And one of us is gonna want it more than the other boys.
That person is ME, bitches.
I'm the very persona of what it feels like to lose everything you hold near and dear to your hearts. I've walked this earth alone, trained and pounded my ass off alone. After all, what the fuck good is a friendship when life decides to throw a 100 mile an hour fastball and bean you in the head with it?! It does no one any good, that's for damn sure.
So, no...I don't need no stipulation for this upcomin' Legacy match.
After all, in the end...this is a one-man show.
