{Gregor Winter and Itami stand in front of a banner advertising Survival of the Fittest. The former World Television Champion is dressed in a black and red suit matching his charges ring gear. He clears his throat and begins to speak.}
When Itami first came to MOD Island she thought that I was nothing more than a snake oil salesman telling people what they wanted to hear. The only reason she agreed to come was to keep her employer happy, but she slowly started to realize that I just wanted to help her become the best version of herself possible.
It wasn't always easy to get her to understand the lessons that I was trying to teach. The one that she had the toughest time excepting was that disappointment can be a positive thing. The pain that you feel when you fall short of a goal is a tool that can be used to motivate you to become the best version of yourself possible.
That's the reason Itami has spent every waking hour in the gym preparing for a rematch against Rosa DeLuca, but it's not enough to preparing for a match that might never happen. No, she needs to be the Gladiatorix Champion like a drowning man, she has to make an example of them.
{The founder of The MOD smirks.}
Tonight that begins by embarrassing a woman that stands for everything that's wrong with IWF. Even after years training at the Performance Center she's still only fit to jerk the curtain at a show held in the local VFW, yet for some reason no one can explain why she still has a job.
I get it, she was a big shot in this business when women were known more for their playboy centerfold than their ability in the ring. Shows were filled with mud wrestling and bra and panty matches, so it was pretty damn easy to be the best technical wrestler in the world.
Those days are long gone, and the sport of professional wrestling is filled with the best fighters in the world. It's not good enough to just be a good professional wrestler, especially when you're up against a world class talent like Itami.
Nancy, a decade ago you might have had a slim chance of an upset, but that ship has sailed. The years have taken a toll and you're not as quick as you once were, and you don't hit quite as hard. That is a recipe for disaster and you best get down on your knees and give your soul to God because your ass belongs to βLady Pain.β
