[Our scene opens up somewhere, with the camera-man being harassed by TJ Alexander. “The Game Changer” shoes the man and points despite absolutely no sound coming through at first. Seconds later, we can finally hear TJ who is dressed in blue jeans and a short-sleeve self-merch black t-shirt with a gold chain around his neck]
“I should be right now holding the IWF number one contendership contract for the Gladiator championship in my hands, it was in my hands, I handpicked the stipulation to favour me with the ladder-match, that was my choice, but I stepped wrong, just a slight step, and in the end RAM got the win in Tokyo, Japan, I’m more disappointed in myself than I am against anyone else, I should have dominated the ladder-match, but I didn’t. It’s gonna stay with me for a while, it’s gonna be an imprint in my brain, but what’s the best medicine for it? It’s getting back onto winning ways.”
[TJ looks deeply into the camera]
“I’m gonna be getting back onto winning ways this week on Odyssey and the person I’m gonna be beating is a new guy, someone who I’ve never met before, someone who none of us has seen before, and I’m having Goosebumps just thinking of the idea of facing someone new, and the guy I’m facing is Bryce De Jager, there’ seems to be a lot of hype round you Bryce which is good for you, but too much hype might get your ego inflated, and I’ll gladly bring you back down to size, I’ll gladly pop that inflated ego you have Bryce, without knowing you, I know you, I’ve seen the likes of you before, the rich coming into the business through your money playing out a dream, well I’m playing out a dream too Bryce, but the thing is I’ve earned it, I’ve done everything the right way, while you Bryce mostly paid your way into the business.”
[TJ looks deeply into the camera]
“Bryce our match is gonna be an rude awakening for you because while you have mostly paid your way through every chance you’ve had in the business, you cannot pay me off to lay down for you, I cannot be brought, I am gonna open your eyes fully to see what a real opponent can do to you, other than someone who will take it easy on you and make you believe that you actually are good in the ring, I’ve not used money to get into the business, I’ve done everything the right way, I have slept in gyms, I’ve slept in cars, I’ve done everything I could possible do to mould myself into a grit and steal athlete that I am, the heart and passion that I have is unmatched, Bryce no amount of money can buy you that sunshine.”
[TJ taps the glass of the camera]
“Do you hear me? I know you did because I know I’ve already gotten under your skin, I know that you are desperate to prove people wrong about buying into the business, but you won’t be proving anything against me, I’m on another level, a another level that you cannot comprehend and your little background amateur wrestling cannot handle. Bryce you already have a big ego, but your gonna need to bring your “A” game against me if you have one, but when we meet, the majority of fans are gonna know who’s real or not, they’ve already seen me, now they need to see you, but not in this match.”
[TJ smiles while leaning into the camera]
“Bryce in this match unfortunately for you I am still angry over what happened at Legacy and I’m gonna take it out on you sunshine and you will not get one over on me, I don’t care and I don’t give two monkeys and you are not stepping into IWF using me as a stepping stone, I will not allow it, Bryce you better be absolutely ready bruv. Be ready because I am, I am ready to show you what the big leagues is all about, and I don’t think you are ready, maybe you should stay at SGW because that’s your level not here in IWF.”
