(The scene opens up with TJ Alexander standing in front of a IWF backdrop, TJ who is dressed in blue jeans, and a black short-sleeve t-shirt with a gold chain around his neck)
“It’s been near enough two weeks now since I faced off against Bryce De Jager, and with that being said losing to Bryce De Jager on his debut has given me enough time to sit and think, and while I have been thinking long and hard, I’ve been planning, planning the next set of moves I will be making in IWF, and it’s very simple that I need to execute, and that is winning, I need to get a win under my belt, and it’s starts at Odyssey, my opponent is another new guy that is starting his IWF career in Ollie Maverick.”
(TJ scoffs)
“I don’t know much about my opponent, from the little I do know, we are both very educated with our feet, we both like to fly around and be daredevils, and we are both very unpredictable, so in that alone this match should be one to watch, definitely, but the little I do know, Ollie Maverick, walks the beat of his own drum, he walks the beat of his own drum and he doesn’t care what people think, good for him, but he should be caring what I think.”
(TJ pauses)
“Because what I think Olli even though we are similar we are also worlds apart, you see you have worked your way through with easing by, by being a larger than life persona, but inside the ring, take away one or two advantages that you have, and you’re a pile of dust, and the difference between you and I, is I’m the full package, I have no disadvantages, but you do, you skate by your matches, having very little knowledge inside the ring and simple cannot fathom to actually learn the skill, learn the craft, and learn every other bit of knowledge this business has to offer. Ollie Maverick what you’ve done in the past, probably worked out for you, not knowing every little detail of the business, probably worked out for you, not even knowing how to grasp a hold or a manoeuvre in the ring, probably worked out for you in the small time, but this isn’t small time, this is IWF, this is big time now.”
(TJ pauses)
“If you don’t learn everything you need to learn, and I’m talking about the very basics of the business, Ollie Maverick you’ll end up wherever you started from, you’ll end up at a carnival performing tricks, and more importantly you’ll end up with my boot on your throat. Ollie I am not gonna allow you to step in the ring with me and mock this sport, mock our way of living and more importantly mock me, that’s not gonna happen bruv.“
(TJ pauses)
“Ollie Maverick this week on Odyssey you are stepping into the ring with someone who is in NEED of a win, someone who needs a win can be a desperate man, and I need a win, so a desperate man it makes me, which means I will do anything to win, and I mean anything, Ollie Maverick the best thing you can do bruv is bow out of the match, do yourself a favour and stay under whatever rock your hiding at and don’t show up. Don’t show up for Odyssey and change your career, change your career because if you do show up and when I beat you, you’ll need to change your career after the beating I give you.”
(TJ smirks)
“So Ollie comes Odyssey you’re up against a desperate man, that will do anything to get the win, what do you think that will mean? Either way I am waking out with the win.”
