(The scene opens to TJ Alexander’s rented apartment. The medium sized space filled with an air of anticipation. TJ who is sitting on the edge of a black leather couch, relaxed and focused, TJ who is wearing some blue jeans, a pair of converse shoes, and a grey buttoned shirt with the top button undone, showing a gold chain around his neck)
“I don’t know what else more I could do; I am literally giving my body, my heart and my blood into every match here in IWF, and I’m coming up short each time, I am on the last tether, I just don’t know what’s going wrong for me, I know I am far better than what I’ve been, I know I’m better than most of the roster, I know I should be in or near the main event scene, heck, I should be a champion by now, but nothing has come right for me, this week were at another pay-per-view called Revolution, where I’m teaming with Nick Danger against Logan Sky and Ollie Maverick.”
(TJ turns looking outside of his nearby window with the sky dark and cloudy)
“But this match isn’t just a normal tornado tag team match, there’s a prize at the end of it, and that prize is whoever scores the pin fall, gets an entry into the gladiator championship match at survival of the fittest (TJ rubs his hands), maybe all the defeats and losses I’ve had has really lead me to this opportunity and this time, and now I’m gonna need to be more aggressive, more ruthless and downright mercenary, and I know I can tap into that mindset, I know it, and I damn well WILL.”
(TJ pauses as he leans back and crosses his arms)
“Logan Sky, you did it, you got the win over me, but at the current time, it seems anyone can, there’s something out in the air that’s causing me to be in this situation, but Logan, I shouldn’t underestimate you, which I have been, I’ve been underestimating you because of your age and your body because it must be declining, but your mind isn’t. Your mind is sharp as a tack, which has been keeping you in the business for as long now, the wealth of knowledge you must have is incredible. But it’s ultimately gonna be the end for you at some point or another, maybe by me, or maybe by someone else, or maybe ultimately time, time comes for us all Logan, but for me, I’ve got time on my hands, time on my hands to watch you deteriorate from the mind right down to the body and when it happens Logan, I am gonna be smiling, I am gonna be smiling from ear to ear when I get the win for myself and Nick Danger, not just to win the tag team match, but for myself to get that prize, Loan Sky, I’m not dreaming of just winning it, I am gonna win it, physically and with every mental state I have left, I am going to pin either one of you. I have time to play with Logan but you don’t, you have very little time, and during that time you have left, you’ll be seeing me, getting the gold and glory I fully deserve.”
(TJ pauses as he leans back and crosses his arms)
“Logan Sky, I am gonna be more mindfully ruthless, strikingly strategically, you mind might be full of knowledge but when I’m done, your mind is gonna be full of smoke, when I’m done your mind is gonna be cabbaged like a vegetable, you’ll need to be living off tubes in a medical centre, because of how I turn you into, with my strategic plans, I am gonna plant you down into the mat, and get the win.”
(TJ still leaning back with his arms crossed)
“Ollie Maverick, you’ve got a few wins over me too, I know this, I also know that you’re different than most, different is cool, but you need to know something, the times you’ve beaten me, I wasn’t there, in the head, my mind is now, I have seen what I need to do and I know how to execute it, Ollie Maverick, you’re luck has ran out, and it is just luck, it’s not the fact that you’re better than me, and if you thought you were, you’re having an inside joke with yourself, and now sunshine, you’re gonna face reality, and that is, I am gonna get that win, and more importantly get the prize, at Revolution my career here changes.”
(TJ still sitting on his couch, leaning back, with his arms crossed)
“Nick Danger you and I have teamed before, and we’ve done well, and we’ve got this rivalry between us, either we hate each other or we respect each other, but this match, you’re gonna be a step behind me, you gonna have to stand there and watch me get this match over and done with as quickly as possible, to get the prize, and I will, believe that.”
(The room grows quite again, filled with sense of readiness, as the scene ends)
