(The scene opens up in pitch black; a low humming sound of an air conditioner is buzzing in the background, a few seconds later a desk lamp light is switched on. We see TJ Alexander is sitting on the end of a hotel bed, just in his black boxer shorts)
“So here we are just a few days away and we are at Survival of the fittest, where everyone and their damn dog, didn’t expect me to earn myself a title shot at the Invictus championship, but I did, and now to all those haters and critics that I got myself in, that I EARNED myself in, screw them all. But I know it’s not gonna be easy, Serenity Holmes, the current champ, Natasha Walker and Tytus Rost, all are eyeing the same thing, getting that win. Serenity Holmes is looking to retain and Natasha Walker and Tytus Rost are looking to gain, just like me.”
(TJ blinked before taking a breath before speaking)
“But as we are days away I sit here and I ponder, it’s actually fitting that it’s called survival of the fittest, it’s actually fitting that it’s a gauntlet match, because I may be the only one here that’s actually got nothing to lose and everything to gain, and that’s the way I like it, you see the others in this match the others in this match will go on after the show, and still have credit in the bank, they will still get opportunities down the road somewhere, where as me, who really knows. Who really knows when the next big opportunity comes my way, I’ve been here for some time now, and it’s still infuriates me that I haven’t been a champion yet, it boils my piss, but at survival of the fittest, I rectify that, I come out on top and I become the Invictus champion, but I know I have some heavy hitters in this match, firstly, Tytus Rost.”
(TJ blinks during a pause)
“Tytus Rost lad, you’re the biggest and you’re the ugliest in this match, and you’re a true monster among us, but in fiction, monsters get slayed, they get defeated time and time again, and that’s exactly what’s gonna happen at Survival of the fittest, you are gonna get slayed and put down, and I know you’re watching this and laughing, that you are over confident, but you have something to lose, you have a family, you have the power of your legs working probably and right now, you can enjoy the time you have with them, but as you step in the ring at survival, looking to gain the gold, that will all whisper away, it will disappear, the longer your staying in the ring and fighting for gold, because I’m in the ring too, and I know how to beat you bruv, you’re multiple list of injuries are no secret, and at the current time, you have the power of your legs.”
(TJ’s eye softened as he is feeling more awake as he speaks on)
“But Tytus the longer this match continues, the more chances that at the end of the match, you won’t have the feeling in your legs, that those tree trunks of legs you have will not be able to withstand the strength it needs, when I target and exploit them, Tytus, you have everything to lose, and I’m gonna be the geezer that ends it for you, but not by choice or want, but by NEEDS.”
(TJ sinks more comfortably on the end of the bed that he is sitting on)
“Tytus I need this win more than anything, not because I want to go home with the gold, and watch the eyes of my beloved ones and see how proud there are of me, but because I want to look into the mirror and be proud of myself, to add to the ever growing collection of championship gold, and building my legacy, that is why it’s so important to me that I come out with the gold and to prove everyone wrong, that I am a champion. Tytus Rost bruv, more than likely in any other situation, you’d get the win. But not in this situation, not when there’s so much important on the line, and not just the gold, but the respect, and when I am desperate, I am the most dangerous animal on god’s green earth, and at survival of the fittest, you’re gonna find out, those legs will be lucky to have any feeling left in them, and the IWF officials will need a small crane to lift you out of the arena and into the hospital, and Tytus this is nothing personal, but in sheer NEED.”
(TJ growls a little while he sits there in his boxer shorts)
“Natasha Walker you don’t know me very well, and you’re not the only one in my career who has written me off before the bell rings, but I like being in this situation, walking out first, against all the odds stacked against me, being the underdog, I like this situation, more times than not, I have proven people wrong each turn I take, and this time will be no different, this time, I step out of survival of the fittest, out of the gauntlet match, with the gold in my hands, and that’s what I like, so bring on Tytus, bring on yourself Natasha, and bring on the current champ Serenity, and I’ll knock all three of you down on your arses.”
(TJ growls a little before speaking again)
“I am gonna push my stubbornness and my competitive nature to every limit possible Natasha, what about you? What about your so-called competitive nature, how far are you willing to go? I guess we’ll find out, but we’ll also find out that I will be respected, that I will wear gold, and that you couldn’t beat me, from being first in this gauntlet to being the very last man standing, and you couldn’t beat me.”
(TJ blinked during a pause)
“Natasha you had a better chance at a fairy-tale then you ever did against Serenity, especially now that I’m in this match, you should have prayed for the fairy-tale option, at least you had more of a fair chance, in this match, you have zero chance, it’s my time, and I will prove everyone wrong.”
(TJ pauses while taking a breath)
“Then we have the current champ herself, the Invictus champion, Serenity Holmes, and Serenity I see the attraction, and I’m not talking about physical appearance, but I see the attraction in you that you have succeed everywhere you’ve gone, you are not just a champion in IWF, for the time being, but you are also a champion in DWP, the hardcore champion, but ask yourself one question, why until now have we never been booked against each other? I know why, do you? The reason is simple, it’s an unfair challenge, as good as you are, and you are good, love, you have no hope against me, all hope is lost, if you versus me, would ever happen, no matter what company, I would win.”
(TJ smirks while sitting at the end of the bed)
“Serenity were very much alike, we both like to travel around looking for the best competition, to test ourselves, to gain respect and to build our legacies, but at the moment, you have that, a legacy, at the moment, but at the end of it, I will have it, I will have the gold, and my legacy will continue to grow, Serenity, bow out and save yourself a defeat.”
(TJ smirks)
“I have done a deep dive into your career, and for a women of your age, you’ve certainly done a lot, but I wonder, was it all through hard work and determination? You have skill there’s no doubt, or was you favoured, maybe it was a bit of both, but in this match, you won’t be favoured, the entire wrestling world will see me fight for everything, and they will favour me, they will see the heart that I pour out and the desire to win, they will favour me, and the will be right too, because after I win, Serenity, they’ll see your star will fall, I am gonna use your weakness against you, size, emotions and inexperience, and when that’s over, it’s gonna be “Game Over” for you, love.”
(TJ blinks during a pause)
“I will be walking into this match with everything against me, from being the number one entry, but I will overcome, and I will leave with the gold, the truly last man standing.”
