"Xavier Cross was assisted my EMTs out of the arena last night on a stretcher, it is noted that he lost consciousness before help arrived. Rushed to the nearest hospital. No word yet from Cross's representatives, but it's in my opinion that this could be the very last we see of Xavier Cross, if he even manages to survive this..." - Vasco Dias post Sacrifice.
"Right now, Mr. Cross is under intensive care. On occasion we will encounter accidents where someone has something driven through their hand. But I don't believe in my 20 years in the ER, have I ever seen a man crucified. On top of various lacerations on his face and arms, broken ribs. Mr. Cross will be lucky to wake up, much less walk out. I don't see him ever stepping into the ring again." - Dr. Ben Addams, Head Surgeon
"Spike Kane, Lance Ryan, and their Empire have gone too far this time. You kill people this way, and it is in my view that Spike Kane and his group of misfit toys wanted to kill someone tonight. Things like this go unchecked in this wrestling business, because of violence waivers, and legal red tape. I always thought wrestling was fake. I saw Xavier Cross's hand, they were nailed to a f***ing piece of wood." Officer Theo Hanks
All of that said, what we saw tonight was one of the most brutal, purest rage moments in wrestling history. Spike Kane and his Legion of Badassery made a statement tonight, to show they are not to be fucked with. Xavier Cross may have saved Ryan Blade from a fate that no man deserves, but at what cost? At what cost? Needless to say, we here at IWF are keeping Cross and his family in our thoughts in prayers, hoping for a speedy recovery. No word yet if any action will be taken against Spike Kane.
