{The camera flickers to life, showing the words IWF Presents: Thursday Night Battleground. The banner slowly fades, taking us all into a small, well-lit studio. There are pictures and various wrestling memorabilia hanging on the walls. It’s a very familiar set, almost exactly the same as last week’s, and the camera slowly comes to a stop on Willy Carter and JJ Biggs, both of whom look ready to get the show rolling.}Willy Carter: And welcome back everyone! We are fresh off the successful debut of Thursday Night Battleground last week, and tonight we’re hoping to keep the ball rolling with even more action and entertainment. The conclusion to last week's show definitely set the bar high; what are your thoughts regarding what went down, JJ? JJ Biggs: It was absolutely chaotic. Spike Kane and The Empire tried to end things for Gib, but he had back up and before we knew it, HE was the one trying to end things for The Empire. But they hightailed it out of there, and perhaps they saved themselves last week, but I don't think we've seen the end of things between Spike and Gib. Willy Carter: I agree, those two men have some things to finish. But of course, the next time they meet, Adam Knite might have to roll Gib to the ring in a wheelchair after the beating his legs took. JJ Biggs: Were you trying to be funny? Or was that a ridiculous attempt at providing analysis? Willy Carter: Uh, both? JJ Biggs: (shaking his head) Horrible, just horrible. How about we get into the details of what's to come this evening, eh? We have another loaded card for all of you, featuring an opening tag-team match where Jenny Famularo and Avery McCullen will take on Sinsational. Willy Carter: Just last week, Avery and Jenny were facing each other on this program. They've battled twice, but remain very good friends and tonight, they make their tag-team debut. But they have a tough task ahead of them in Sinsational, so they better learn how to work together very quickly. JJ Biggs: Indeed, and after that we have Frank Black facing Jimmy Zane, Jackhammer and Eric Price facing Mason St. Croix and Kristoff Liam Bates, and lastly -- in the main event -- a cage match between Angel and Gjenrei. Willy Carter: And speaking of the main event, we have a production change to let all of you guys in on. Last week, we showed the Spike Kane vs. Gib match in its entirety, and while we thought that was a special one-off, the powers that be have made the call to allow us to show the main-event in its entirety every week. So, good news all around! JJ Biggs: Definitely some exciting news. But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. The nights young, and the ball is starting to roll, as up first we have the waning moments of the Diamond's tag-team contest. Roll the footage! {And with that, both men turn their attentions to the monitor and the picture transitions into the arena, and right in the middle of the action!}----------------------------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCH Jenny Famularo and Avery McCullen vs Sinsational
----------------------------------------------------------
{Ayla St. James and Jennifer Famularo are exchanging rights and lefts in the center of the ring. Both women look exhausted as they continue to pound away at each other. Avery and Desiree are waiting patiently on the apron, the battle showing on them as they wait for their opportunities to re-enter the ring. Ayla manages to duck under a right from Jenny and knocks her to the mat with a strong kick to the knee. Ayla runs off the ropes and comes back, falling towards the mat and nearly taking Jenny’s head off with a solid Clothesline. Ayla hits the ropes and comes back for a splash, but no! Jenny rolls out of the way. Famularo struggles to her feet, as does Ayla, and St. James goes for another Clothesline, but Jenny ducks it. Ayla turns around and Jenny catches her with a powerful DDT, and both women are now down as the referee moves in to check on them!}JJ Biggs: Jenny and Avery have worked well here tonight, but now we can see how good Jenny’s ring awareness is. She needs to make a tag right now. Willy Carter: But can she make one before Ayla? {Jenny struggles towards her corner, as does Ayla. Their partners are waiting in anticipation. Both women reach their corners at the same time and Avery and Desiree charge into the ring. Avery goes for a Clothesline, but Desiree ducks it. She quickly runs up and drops Avery with a Bulldog. Avery tries to get back up, but Desiree lays into her with some well placed stomps. Avery fights through them, getting to her feet and stumbling into the corner. Desiree backs yp before charging in looking for a Clothesline in the corner, but Avery steps out of the way. Desiree crashes into the corner and stumbles out, Avery catches her with a beautiful Neckbreaker! She goes for the pin: 1………………2……….Ayla comes in and makes the save, delivering a stiff stomp to Avery to break up the count.}JJ Biggs: Avery may have had the match won, but Ayla made sure Sinsaintional lives to see another day in this one. {Jenny tries to enter the ring, but the referee blocks her. Ayla smacks her hands together, making the sound of a tag, and Desiree slowly rolls out of the ring as she goes on the attack. Jenny finally gives up the fight and the referee goes back to the action. Ayla lifts Avery and nails her with a right hand, followed by a strong slap with her left hand. But the impact causes Avery to stumble back and Jenny tags herself in! Jenny enters the ring and ducks under an Ayla Clothesline attempt. Ayla turns around and Jenny kicks her in the midsection before lifting her up and drilling her with the Executive Decision! She goes for the pin: 1..................2......Desiree comes in to break it up, but Avery tackles her to prevent it.........3!}JJ Biggs: Ladies of the Rose victorious in their first match as a team, Willy! What an effort by all of the women involved. Willy Carter: The effort was okay, I've seen better. JJ Biggs: Shut up, Willy. Willy Carter: And we're back! You know, following the success of last week's show, I gained about ten Twitter followers. Can you believe that, JJ? JJ Biggs: Ten, plus your mom, wow -- you are up to eleven followers now. Good job, buddy. Willy Carter: You're so funny. Too bad you're not on Twitter, you missed a jab from Jake Keeton after last week's show. JJ Biggs: We have a job to do, Willy. Unlike Jake Keeton, you and I have gainful employment, so let's move on, shall we? Up next, we have a match between Frank Black and Jimmy Zane. It's a shame we can't show this match from start to finish, there was a lot of good action throughout. Willy Carter: This is Frank Black's first single's match in IWF; he and his brother are the current IWF Tag Team champions, but this is his opportunity to show what he can do on his own. JJ Biggs: And I don't think he disappointed us. He had a tough task taking on Jimmy Zane, tough a customer as any, and both men deserved a win out there.Willy Carter: And I deserved a raise, but instead they docked my pay to higher you. Life is tough, JJ. But let's see who takes the "W" here, shall we? ----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH Frank Black vs Jimmy Zane
----------------------------------------------------------
{Jimmy is beaten and battered in the corning, gasping for air as Frank charges towards him. Frank launches himself and lands a perfect Big Splash in the corner. Zane stumbles forward and Frank sends him stumbling back into the corner with a couple of well-placed forearm shivers. Frank tries to Irish Whip Jimmy across the ring, but Zane shows some life and reverses it, sending Frank crashing into the corner. Jimmy charges towards Frank, but Black charges out as well, looking for a Clothesline, but Zane slides between his legs! Jimmy hops up and Frank turns right into a devastating Spinning Heel Kick. Frank is down and Jimmy drops to a knee, trying to recover so he can capitalize on the situation.}JJ Biggs: These two men have been in a war here tonight. Solid debut for Jimmy, but Frank has managed to keep him on the defensive for much of this match. Willy Carter: Yeah, until Jimmy tried to send Frank’s head into the fifth row. That kick hurt me, JJ! {Zane gets back to his feet, and a bit slower is Frank. Black tries to go for a wild right hand, but Jimmy ducks under it and delivers a solid shot to the body. Jimmy hits the ropes and comes back with a beautiful Shoulder Block, knocking Frank to the ground. Jimmy charges and hops off the middle rope, springboarding back into a well-placed Moonsault! He goes for the pin: 1……………2……….KICK OUT}JJ Biggs: Whoa, some quick offense from Jimmy and he nearly took the “W” right there. Frank better get himself off the mat and back into this one quickly. {Jimmy looks a little frustrated as he climbs back to his feet. He lifts Frank upright as well and sends Black charging into the ropes. He goes for a running Clothesline, but Frank manages to avoid the contact. Black stops and as soon as Jimmy turns around, he grabs hold of him and nails him with a vicious head butt. He maintains his grip and lays into Jimmy with yet another head butt, and another! Jimmy collapses to a knee, and Frank tries to go for another one, but Jimmy knocks Frank back and steps up and nails him with a beautiful Dropkick! Jimmy quickly scales the ropes and launches himself, looking for a Legdrop, but Frank sits up, avoiding the contact. Jimmy is sitting on the mat, arching his back in pain, as Frank hops up and nearly takes his head off with a vicious kick to the face. Jimmy is down as Frank goes for the pin: 1………………2………….KICK OUT!}JJ Biggs: These two men seem to be gaining more energy as this one goes on. They were laying into each other with some serious offense. Willy Carter: I don’t know who’s going to win this one. It’s all over the place! {Frank looks a little irked as he gets back to his feet, lifting Jimmy up with him. He goes for a right hand, but Zane blocks it and connects with one of his own. Jimmy grabs Frank's head and drops to the mat with a Jawbreaker! Jimmy slowly gets to his feet and gradually makes his way to the top rope as Frank lies on the mat. And Zane hops off with a beautiful Swanton Bomb, which he calls the InZane! He goes for the pin: 1...................2..................3!}JJ Biggs: And Jimmy wins it! That came out of no where, looked like Frank was going to take this one. But Zane gets things rolling on the right foot here tonight with a solid "W" in his debut. Willy Carter: All righty, welcome back once again, ladies and gents. I have one quick update regarding the next match on our card. Did you know Jackhammer changed his name, JJ? JJ Biggs: It's my job to know that. And I apologize for the mistake I made at the top of the show, but he is now known as Jack "The Hammer" Lockhart. Perhaps something such as a name change is exactly what he needs to jump start his IWF career in the right direction. Willy Carter: Or maybe he's related Katherine Lockheart? They could be long, lost lovers! JJ Biggs: Different spellings, Willy, different spellings. Willy Carter: Wow, sorry, Mr. I-Have-No-Humor. Anyway, fine, next we have the aforementioned Lockhart teaming with Eric Price, and together they are facing Mason St. Croix and Kristoff Liam Bates. JJ Biggs: What an interesting dynamic this match has. Mason and Kristoff do not like each other, they've been at odds for weeks, and now they are forced to team together against two men that can make them pay very quickly if they aren't focused. Willy Carter: I like it, Lockhart and Price aren't going to take it easy on them. If Mason and Bates want to survive, they'll have to work together. It's brilliant. JJ Biggs: And let's see if they have the cohesiveness they'll need to get the job done, shall we? ----------------------------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCH Jackhammer and Eric Price vs Mason St Croix and Kristoff Liam Bates
----------------------------------------------------------
{Mason St. Croix has Eric Price down in the corner and is laying into him with some solid stomps. He hits quite a few of them before yanking Eric to his feet and sending him across the ring into the opposite corner. Eric hits with a thud and stumbles forward, and Mason wraps him up and sends him overhead with a beautiful release Belly-to-Belly Suplex. The crowd cheers as Mason goes for the pin: 1................2...KICK OUT! He yanks Price to his feet and moves towards his corner, extending his hand for a tag to his partner, Kristoff Liam Bates. KLB doesn't move, instead simply stares at Mason's hand. St. Croix is having none of it as he drops Price to the mat and slaps Bates on the chest and exits onto the apron. Bates looks at St. Croix with an irritated expression before slowly entering the ring.}JJ Biggs: Bates and St. Croix have had trouble tagging in and out all match. I know they're going through some differences, but this is a match -- the object is to win it. Willy Carter: Perhaps Bates would rather take Mason's head off than win the match. {Bates proceeds to lift Price up to his feet, but Eric quickly connects with some solid punches to the midsection. Kristoff stumbles back, bounces off the ropes, and walks right into a Hip Toss from Price. Eric stumbles, loses his balance, but falls right into his corner, effectively tagging the big man into the match. Jack Lionheart enters and looks ready to cause destruction as Bates slowly gets back to his feet. Lionhart charges in and connects with a Clothesline. Bates pops back up and eats a Big Boot for his troubles! Bates stumbles back to his feet and Jack drops him right back to the mat with a Sidewalk Slam. He goes for the pin: 1...............2............KICK OUT!}JJ Biggs: Jackhammer is bringing the pain, he may be looking to put this one away! Willy Carter: You mean Jack Lionhart? JJ Biggs: Shut up, Willy. {Lionhart climbs to his feet and picks Bates up as well. He leaves Bates standing and runs towards the ropes. As he bounces off, Price tags himself back into the match. Lionhart goes for a vicious Clothesline, but Bates ducks under it, steps forward, and grabs Price as soon as he enters the ring and drops him with a DDT for his troubles. Kristoff gets to his feet and Lionhart is charging towards him. Bates drops down, pulls on the top rope, and sends the big man tumbling to the outside. Price slowly gets back to his feet and Kristoff lays into him with some solid right hands. And, out of no where, he drops down, grabbing Price, and locks him into the Triangle Choke!}JJ Biggs: This Tie is Too Tight! {Lionhart gets to his feet on the outside, but before he can even attempt to re-enter the ring Price taps out. The referee signals for the bell as Bates continues to maintain the submission hold. St. Croix immediately enters the ring and kicks Bates, forcing him to release the hold. St. Croix starts shouting at Bates, pointing to Price.}JJ Biggs: St. Croix is just trying to tell him that the match is over, there isn't a need to keep the hold locked in. Bates has been falling into a nasty habit with that these past couple of weeks. Willy Carter: He's a grown man, he can do what he wants to do! {Bates holds his hands up, signaling that he understands. St. Croix shakes his head as he moves to exit the ring. Bates quickly grabs his briefcase and swings wildly, looking to behead St. Croix, but Mason ducks it and turns around, jumping on top of Bates. Both men are on the mat swinging, St. Croix is landing quite a bit as Bates has to take the defensive. Bates manages to free himself and rolls out of the ring, clutching his briefcase close to his chest as he starts to back up the ramp, shaking his head as Mason looks on with anger in his eyes.}JJ Biggs: Bates tried to hit Mason when his back was turned, but St. Croix wasn't having any of that. These two men can't stand each other! Willy Carter: And we're back, once again, inside the studio as we prepare for the main event of the evening. Angel and Gjenrei, these are just two men that do not need to be locked inside a cage together. They're going to kill each other! JJ Biggs: Perhaps that's what it's going to take to settle this dispute, Willy. Angel has been toying with Gjenrei for weeks, maybe months, and Gjenrei has seemingly just been one step behind the entire time. This provides Gjenrei with an opportunity to get his vengeance, and with the contest taking place inside a steel cage, he doesn't have to worry about any interference from Ragnarok or anyone else. Willy Carter: Well, this match promises to bring a huge amount of violence, excitement, and carnage. And we're happy to be able to show it to all of you watching at home in its entirety. And with that, I'd like to say so long from the studio; for JJ Biggs, I'm Willy Carter, and all of you at home -- just sit back, relax, and enjoy what mayhem you're about to witness. ----------------------------------------------------------
STEEL CAGE MATCH Angel vs Gjenrei
----------------------------------------------------------
{The lights dim as "Ryoujoku no Ame" by Dir En Grey starts to play. The masked man known only as "Gjenrei" steps out from behind the curtain and kneels at the upper part of the ramp as the drum beats start to kick in. He waits, his hands folded in prayer, then the music amps up and comes full force. He leaps from his knees to his feet as a short pyro burst explodes on either side of the ramp. He walks down the ramp, and ascends one of the corner turnbuckles, gazing out over the packed crowd. Then he sits himself on top of the turnbuckle, crossed legged, and meditates until the match is about to get underway.}JJ Biggs: Gjenrei looks focused, ready to go as he waits patiently for Angel to make his way out from the back. The steel cage is fits perfectly with the rage and hatred that has seemingly built for this match. I love it. {The somber tones of "Sail" by DevilDriver hit the PA as the arena is plunged into darkness. An "X" burning in black and white tones is displayed on the screen as a lone spot light appears on the stage just as the song starts to kick into gear, Angel stands there with his back to the crowd, his arms out in the mock Christ pose, Amber Richards wrapped around him like an article of clothing. Angel turns to face the crowd and they erupt into a chorus of boos as he sneers and heads to the ring in step with the song, Amber by his side. As the two hit the middle of the ramp Nero and Tank appear behind them and head to the ring. Angel walks up the steps and quickly climbs up the ropes on the outside, he throws out his arms and tosses his coat to the side as he stands on the top rope, arms out stretched and the arena is blinded in light. Amber climbs into the ring and throws her arms out now in the mock Christ pose as Angel stands above and behind her. Nero and Tank head to the other side of the ring, crossing their arms and watching. Angel jumps down and waits for the match to start as the music comes to an stop.}JJ Biggs: Angel may have Ragnarok with him, but all they're going to be able to do is stand on the outside and watch. Willy Carter: I wouldn't count them out, JJ. If Angel needs it, they will find a way to involve themselves in this contest. {The bell rings. Neither man moves, standing opposite each other in their respective corners. Gjenrei peers through the eye slits in his mask, and Angel looks back at him with a smirk on his face. Suddenly, Gjenrei charges forward and Angel steps out of the way, causing the masked man to crash into the corner. Angel grabs him and spins the former Cruiserweight champion around, bashing him in the forehead with strong right hands. He throws in a couple of left hands as he dazes his opponent in the corner. Angel quickly sends Gjenrei flying across the ring and he charges in right behind him, crashing into Gjenrei with a solid Clothesline as soon as he hits the corner. Angel steps back and charges forward once again, connecting with another Clothesline, this one knocking his opponent to the mat. Angel moves towards the cage, staring out into the crowd as they rain down on him with boos. Tank, Angel, and Nero show their appreciation as the applaud from the outside of the ring.}JJ Biggs: Gjenrei attempted to strike first, but Angel has taken complete control of this match. And now he's making a mockery of it. Willy Carter: What? The man can't look at the crowd? He's just showing them his appreciation that they came out to see him perform this evening. JJ Biggs: He couldn't careless about these people. He's mocking them, if he was closer to them, he'd spit in their faces. {Gjenrei grabs onto the ropes and slowly starts to pull himself upright. Angel immediately greets him with another right hand as soon as he rises up. He goes for another right, but Gjenrei blocks it and returns the favor with a right hand of his own, followed by a left, a right, and he goes for another left, but Angel blocks it and knees Gjenrei in the midsection. He quickly grabs hold and drops down with a ferocious DDT. Angel hops to his feet, runs towards the ropes, and springboards off the middle rope, coming back with a beautiful Moonsault. He hits every bit of it as he goes for the pin: 1.................2.....KICK OUT!}JJ Biggs: Gjenrei tried to turn the tide, but Angel stopped him in his tracks. I think it's important to remind everyone that this match can be won in numerous ways, ranging from pin or submission, to escaping through the cage door or over the top. Willy Carter: If Angel keeps the assault coming, Gjenrei's not going to be able to walk, let alone climb up the chain link fence to escape. {Angel slowly rises to his feet, looking focused and ready to cause more pain as he yanks his opponent to a vertical base. He tries to send Gjenrei into the ropes, but the masked man comes to life and reverses it! Angel hits the ropes, but he wraps his arms around the top rope and stops his momentum. Gjenrei charges forward and launches himself at Angel, but "Savior-X" moves out of the way and Gjenrei crashes hard into the steel cage, falling awkwardly onto the apron. Angel reaches down and yanks his opponent upright. He keeps a hold on his head and slams Gjenrei's face into the steel cage wall over and over and over again. The referee tries to stop the assault, but there's not much he can do as Angel continues to bash Gjenrei's skull into the steel cage. Angel stops the assault, grabs the back of Gjenrei's head, and drops to the mat, causing the back of Gjenrei's head and neck to snap off the top rope, the momentum causes him to once more crash face first into the steel cage. He crumbles to the mat, rolling into the ring through the bottom rope. There's clearly some blood flow as it begins soaking into the mask. A small smile creeps across Angel's face as he notices the damage he's done.}JJ Biggs: Dear God, what is going through Angel's mind? I don't even think he's trying to win this match. It just looks like he's trying to kill Gjenrei out there. Willy Carter: What are you talking about? He went for a pin attempt earlier! And oh, look, there's another one. {Indeed, Angel pulls Gjenrei towards the center of the ring and hooks the leg: 1...................2.............KICK OUT! The smile fades away as Angel looks at the referee, who holds two fingers high into the air. The members of Ragnarok shout at the referee, and Angel is in disbelief that this match is still ongoing. The crowd cheers loudly in appreciation of Gjenrei's heart.}JJ Biggs: It's going to take more than that to keep Gjenrei down! {Angel grabs hold of Gjenrei and tries to pull him upright, but Gjenrei lays into his midsection with a couple of stiff right hands, eventually causing Angel to release his grip. Gjenrei grabs hold of Angel and attempts to send him into the corner, but Angel reverses it and sends Gjenrei crashing into the turnbuckle. Angel charges forward and Gjenrei ducks down and launches Angel over him, causing "Savior-X" to land feet first on the top turnbuckle, holding onto the cage for balance. But before he can turn around, Gjenrei reaches up, grabs hold of him, and simply destroys Angel with a POWERBOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE! Angel's head bounces off the mat awkwardly and he's down, Gjenrei is down, and the crowd is going crazy following the high impact nature of that move. The referee checks on both men as Ragnarok looks on from the outside.}JJ Biggs: Angel may be in a different world following the impact from that move. Gjenrei had a lot of power behind that bomb. Willy Carter: He can't do that to Angel! {Both men slowly get to their feet after a few seconds. Gjenrei's mask is stained crimson and Angel looks a bit dazed as he steadies himself. Angel goes for a right hand, which connects perfectly with Gjenrei's head. The masked one returns the favor, but he simply goes on a tear as he connects with a right, a left back elbow, a right hand, a right elbow, a left hand; the attack is coming so fast that Angel isn't able to block anything. Gjenrei has Angel in the corner and he's continuing the assault, even moving to the body to connect with a few vicious body shots. Gjenrei lifts Angel onto the top turnbuckle and he climbs up as well. He pounds on Angel with a couple of additional right hands, before quickly hopping up, wrapping his legs around him, and yanking him off the top rope with a beautifully executed Hurricanrana! Gjenrei feels the adrenaline pumping through his veins as he quickly hops up, climbs to the top rope, and without wasting a second, he hops off and catches Angel perfectly with a 450 Splash! The crowd is exploding as he goes for the pin: 1.................2............KICK OUT! The crowd collectively groans as the referee holds up two fingers. Gjenrei holds his head with both of his hands as he feels like he should have won it there.}JJ Biggs: The tides have certainly turned in this one, Gjenrei nearly put Angel away right there. Willy Carter: Come on, Angel, Amber's watching! {Gjenrei realizes he has to stay on the assault. He climbs upright and yanks Angel to his feet. He hits Angel with a strong leg kick, followed by one directed at the other leg. Angel falls to his knees and Gjenrei charges into the ropes. But Angel picks himself up and charges in, connecting with a vicious Spear, using Gjenrei's momentum against him! Angel leans onto the middle rope, exhausted as Gjenrei is folded on the apron. Angel shakes his head slowly as he yanks himself upward. He doesn't stop there, as he climbs onto the ropes and hooks his fingers through the steel cage. He slowly makes his way up the wall, heading towards the top. Ragnarok moves to the side he's climbing, cheering him on as he starts the journey towards the top. The crowd boos loudly as he inches closer and closer. Meanwhile, in the ring, Gjenrei rolls over and glances up, catching sight of Angel. He hooks himself onto the ropes and desperately tries to make his way up as well.}JJ Biggs: Angel is nearly to the top, Gjenrei has a lot of ground to make up if he's going to catch him. Willy Carter: Angel's too far ahead, there's no way he's going to be caught. {Angel finally makes it to the top, but Gjenrei has made up good ground and he reaches up, grabbing hold of Angel's foot. Angel tries to kick him away, but Gjenrei refuses to quit. The masked man manages to make it to the top, and now both man are straddling the top of the cage. Angel connects with a right hand, which causes Gjenrei to sway a little bit. Gjenrei catches Angel with a right hand of his own. Both men are trading shots as they try their hardest to maintain their balance. Angel goes for a big right hand, but Gjenrei ducks under it. The missed punch causes Angel to sway a little more as his momentum carries him. And at the perfect moment, Gjenrei uses his momentum against him and connects with a vicious right hand, which causes Angel to lose his grip! ANGEL FALLS FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE! He crashes hard in the middle of the ring, broken and battered, as the referee checks him for life. The crowd is going insane. Gjenrei looks down at the floor below, the waiting members of Ragnarok, and then he looks inside the ring at Angel, who isn't moving.}JJ Biggs: Oh, my God, Angel may be dead. He's not moving, that was a Hell of a fall. {It appears Gjenrei has made a decision, as he slowly climbs to his feet on top of the cage, doing his best balancing act as he turns to face the ring. And in one motion, he flips off, falling fifteen feet and CRASHING into Angel with a Swanton Bomb! The crowd erupts with "Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!" Both men are down, both men aren't moving, the both men may not be breathing after that.}JJ Biggs: HOLY SH- Did you see that? Gjenrei just hit the Ryoujoku no Ame from the top of the cage. This place is going insane! Willy Carter: I -- I, damn, that was absolutely insane. He should be disqualified for putting Angel's well-being at risk. JJ Biggs: Shut up, Willy. {Both men are down, broken and battered, as the referee checks on them to make sure they're still breathing. Gjenrei shows some life, as he manages to finally drape an arm over Angel and the referee drops down to make the count: 1......................2.....................KICK OUT! AT THE LAST FREAKING POSSIBLE SECOND! A loud sigh echoes throughout the crowd as the referee holds up two fingers, in case anyone missed it. Ragnarok shares a sigh of relief on the outside as they shout for Angel to get back to his feet. Both men cling onto the ropes and use them to pull themselves up. Angel can barely stand as he stumbles towards the middle. Gjenrei meets him, forcing Angel to eat a right hand. Angel manages to throw one back, and another, and another, as he tries to get the adrenaline pumping. But Gjenrei blocks the next one, and now it's his turn as he hits Angel with solid rights and lefts of his own. Gjenrei gathers himself and charges for a Clothesline, but Angel ducks under it. Angel and Gjenrei both turn towards each other - SUPER KICK! Angel knocks the day lights out of Gjenrei and both men are down.}JJ Biggs: He connected with the Genocide Kick! Gjenrei ate a shot right there, here's to hoping he can recover from that one. Willy Carter: Well, he better hurry because Ragnarok are developing and exit strategy as we speak. {Indeed, Tank has just shoved the referee on the outside of the ring and taken the key away from him. He hands it to Nero, who unlocks the cage door and opens it wide for Angel. Both men motion for him to come to the door, and Angel slowly starts crawling in that direction. He reaches the apron and both men grab hold of him, attempting to pull him out of the ring. But no! Gjenrei dives on top of Angel's legs, stopping them from doing so. Nero and Tank continue to pull and Angel tries to kick Gjenrei away, but he's not letting go. They have Angel half way out of the cage now, which has caused Gjenrei to be close to the exit as well! Tank and Nero pull as hard as they can -- and ANGEL TUMBLES TO THE OUTSIDE! Gjenrei starts to fall as well, but Tank slams the cage door in his face, causing the masked one to collapse to the ring.}JJ Biggs: That's not right, Gjenrei and Angel were having a tremendous battle, and all I can focus on is the fact that Nero and Tank provided the assist in Angel's victory. Tarnished a terrific match. Willy Carter: What are you talking about? Angel deserved the victory. He won fair and square, it's not his fault Gjenrei doesn't have any friends. {Tank and Nero help Angel to his feet as his theme music begins to play. The crowd is booing loudly as Nero and Tank are on either side of Angel, leading him towards the ramp. All three men stand at the bottom, looking into the ring as the referee is helping Gjenrei to his feet. An evil smile crosses Angel's face as they slowly start backing away from the ring, leaving Gjenrei inside, having just lost a gut-wrenching match.}JJ Biggs: It's unfortunate things are ending this way, but Angel is the victor nonetheless. And with that, we are out of time this week. I hope all of you enjoyed the show. For Willy Carter, I'm JJ Biggs, and we'll be back next week! {The camera fades, focusing on Ragnarok as Angel continues to stare with pure pleasure in his eyes as Gjenrei struggles to his feet in the ring.}
