So please, let me introduce myself.
My name is James William Cross.
Yes, some of you may recognize that name. I am indeed the youngest son of Xavier Cross, and my late mother, Cari Thompson-Cross.
I am five years old.
I am what normal people call autistic.
But, that words is spread like a disease.
There is a reason I don’t talk. Show someone that can truly understand.

The year is 2214, the world has changed drastically from what you could ever imagine, split into two class systems are the next great evolution of humanity in 2020, or ‘Alpha Day’. When Homosapians became the weaker species, and humans with special abilities were moved forwards, also known as Alphasapians. This new evolution of human beings was at it’s more basic and raw state in 2020, almost a genetic mutation. The normal diagnosis of mental retardation, and autism actually grew into what the most simple of beings would call, super powers. What were once seen as defects by society, became the next top link in the food chain.
In the year 2034 War World III happened, with Alphas at their forefront, China started it’s move. As humans weren’t the only evolution, weapons changed from live ammunition to focused energy beams, nuclear weaponry became a secondary idea, and more so the focus on energry creation on a global scale. China was the first to take the leaps forward in Nuclear technology, to match their homosapien breeds of human, they developed the first exo-skeleton, also known as Bio Suits. Giving the original breed of humanity a fighting chance against other Alphas.
China would first invade Japan, from the dawn of the 21st century, Japan was the most technologically advanced country in the world. Who were working on an Biosuits of their own, but more so a cloud transmitted virus, yes the very same cloud in 2014 most people stored their files on. This virus would invade the Bio-suits, causing a force self destruction.
At this time, Alpha’s had only been around for 15 years, the fully abilities and powers, something which should have made them the top, they were immediately the target of racism, considering the odds of being an Alpha were every 1-10 people. China was the first to recognize Alpha’s as ‘honorable citizens’. Which caused many Alphas to flee to the People’s Republic.
World War III would wage for 2 years, short for a World War yes, but with technology most conflicts could be settled within weeks. Global destruction only took 730 days. China took the charred ruins of earth as it’s victory, spreading it’s communistic ideals globe wide. The Alpha rate has increased from 1-10, to 1-5, nearly doubling their species. The growth of interspecies relations grew, which caused the birth of half-breeds, often taking more of a toll on the homosapien partner, especially if they were the mother.
With the population, and danger rising, Emperor Mon-For appointed the Alpha’s their own land, rights, and royalty. They were granted the Americas from the most northern Arctic parts of Canada, down to the end of the South Americas. Where the People’s Empire of China has spread across Europe and the Middle East, becoming truly the greatest superpower in the history of planet earth.
But it was obvious the Alpha’s were granted these rights, purely based on fear. The evolution of Alphas had grown stronger, and stranger. The leaders of this new race had taken the ‘reward’ with a grin, yet plot they did, in their ivory towers, they waited, and planned for the perfect moment. But not all was right, many Alphas wanted to live amongst Homosapians, or Norms as the name started to form. Side by side, peacefully, where other Alphas wanted to rule over them.
This would lead to the Alpha Conflict, a great civil war that would split the Alpha population in half in one of the most devastating conflicts, the destruction of whole cities in a single battle, leveled, turned into nothing more than craters. The flexing of Alpha power, put fear into the Norms. The need for better, more advanced bio-suits increased, as time counted down closer to the time that Alphas would finally rebel.
But that day never came…
In fact, a social experiment was proposed.
This experiment would be dubbed Heaven.
However, what would be criminals and heroes alike would come to know it as home.
Where Alphas and Norms co-existed, removed from the outside interference of the world.
This place was Imperial City….
Xavier looks over the shoulder of his youngest son, who is coloring in an IWF colorbook, adding capes and masks to various wrestlers. Xavier couldn’t help but smile as he picked himself off the couch, and headed downstairs. The IWF Roulette had begun, and it was now or never to make his mark.

I’m assuming entering the ring at random intervals. At the High Stakes pay per view. I guess we will all be assigned a ball with our face on it, and thrown out onto a spinning table, locked into an entrance number. Add some expensive shrimp, cheap sex, and mediocre booze and other than a cheap date with Zelda Knite, you have yourselves a High Stakes Atlantic City PPV.

Regardless, I am more impressed with the fact that finally they have decided to use their talent correctly. Whoever wins this gets a shot at the Anniversary show, you know the Wrestling version of the Superbowl? But my question is, who exactly will be champion….
Spike Kane? I mean the self entitled prick could easily steal it. Or maybe he’ll be in the roulette also? Though I wouldn’t be surprised to see him nose deep in someone’s asshole making sure he had a distinct advantage. The douche will probably be directly in a title match or something.
My other guesses would be Berto or Angel, I mean, this has become less about entertainment and wrestling, and more at putting themselves at the forefront. I mean, with two ego’s like that, as long as their getting screen time, as long as they are listed as the main attraction, they can sleep at night.
On what I assume is a Scrooge McDuck sized pile of gold coins.
The point being, it doesn’t matter who the champion is come High Stakes, or the Anniversary show.
What matters is that I will be the man to take that belt at the end of the day.
You wanna know why?
Because it may not be best for business, but these people, they deserve a champion who respects the, who wants to go out, every night and give them the best damn product their money has paid for. Because I won’t step on their fingers, or shove down some stupidity down their throats like nine-tenths of these superstars.
No one cares about the fans anymore, only stroking their own egos.
Well I’m here to change that. I’m here to be a champion of the people, to become a voice for those left unheard.
Their hearts will carry me forward, even when my body is broken.
Their chants will push my soul beyond the normal confines of the human spirit.
I will sweat, I will bleed, and I will cry for these people.
For without those people, who am I?
I’m just a man, not able to live this dream.

I will be achieving the dream, for anyone too afraid, or too weak, or just not able to reach out an grab it. We will do it together.
