Ana Valentine to receive Emergency Surgery

Ana Valentine was admitted to Mountain View Hospital, LV, Nevada via air ambulance earlier this evening following her match with IWF Diamond Eternity.

It was confirmed on admittance that in addition to massive head trauma resulting in a major concussion and a suspected fracture of the left wrist and forearm, severe damage has been caused to the Synthes Rib Matrix;

Exploratory surgery to check damage to the plate and the possible repair and/or removal of the plate has already begun.

We can now confirm that Ana Valentine is out of surgery - after exploration it was confirmed there was serious damage to her Synthes Rib Matrix and whilst the plate itself remained in tact, most if not all of the screws have been replaced.

It was also confirmed that she has suffered a compound fracture to her forearm and wrist and three broken fingers all on the left side.

After further investigation it has been confirmed the head trauma was minor and there are no lasting effects to report aside from some bruising and surface wounds.

Ana Valentine has been moved from ICU to a private room within the hospital - her condition has been confirmed as stable, but a friend was quoted as saying "She's not out of the woods yet."
