PRESHOW
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Cliff Clinton vs Kyle Mason vs Bob Pooler
----------------------------------------------------------
Kyle Mason was gunning for Bob Pooler right from the beginning. Clinton almost didn’t even play a role in the match save for a few pinfall interruptions, every time he tried to get involved Kyle Mason would rock him with several punches and throw him from the ring. Pooler got in some good offense but Mason worked him over hard. Kyle went for running clothes line but Pooler was able to back drop him over the top rope. He turned into a running boot from Cliff Clinton. Cliff then finished him off with the Cliff Bomb for the three count and the victory.
Winner: Cliff Clinton----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMANT
”Dominated.”
----------------------------------------------------------
{ We open a dimly lit arena as “Sail” plays over the PA system the crowd already sent into a chorus of boos. }Vasco Dias: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the first Monday Night Sacrifice following Legacy, as you can see we will be opening the show with the still self proclaimed IWF World Champion.
Terri Morasco: He retained his championship in a very dubious fashion.
Vasco Dias: He restarted the match after he had already be pinned!
Terri Morasco: Mike Laszlo actually held the championship in his hands before GOD tore it away, the Brothers Black put him through a table and then GOD defeated him to retain.
Vasco Dias: And even after all of that Mike Laszlo still put up a tremendous fight.
{ The spot light shines down on the stage where GOD now stands in a full black leather robe with a hood over his head, spikes protrude from the shoulders as well as around the wrists, he throws his arms out to reveal his IWF World Championship around his waist as fire erupts from the ring posts. One by one the Age of X filter out onto the stage behind him. }Vasco Dias: Look at him… He actually thinks he’s GOD.
Terri Morasco: I hate to say this but it’s hard to argue with him, no one has actually been able to stop him.
Vasco Dias: Perhaps if Verona weren’t so busy ruining Xavier Cross’ career he could do something about this power hungry psychopath.
Terri Morasco: You would hope.
{ Slowly GOD makes his way down the ramp, Ana right by his side, glowering at the fans who boo from either side of the ramp, the Brothers are just behind her and they are flanked by Bob Pooler and Mason St Croix. }Vasco Dias: GOD and his unholy legion, it makes me sick.
{ The Brothers hop up onto the apron and sit down on the second rope so that GOD and Ana may climb in more easily after they have ascended the stairs. The Brothers stand on the apron as Pooler and St Croix enter the ring with GOD and Goddess. GOD slowly lowers his hood as the lights stay dim, a spot light still shining down on him, bathing his followers in his light as well. }GOD: Did you learn your lesson Michael?
{ He speaks without the use of a microphone, his word literally booming off the walls. }GOD: You stood opposed to my greatness and found yourself struck down, defeated and utterly DOMINATED! You laid prone and beaten at my feet, a scolded all but begging for me to stop.
{ The crowd boos crazily as GOD mocks Mike Laszlo. }Vasco Dias: That’s not exactly what happened!
Terri Morasco: It’s revisionist history and history is written by the victors.
Vasco Dias: Yeah well all you have to do is watch the damn show to see how GOD won!
{ Ana turns and yells at the crowd to “SHUT UP!” while GOD waits for silence. }GOD: I warned you Michael, told you what would happen if you were not prepared to face me. I AM GOD INCARNATE! THE LIVING BREATHING LORD!!! I came down to this Earth to show all of you insignificant little worms what it means to live like GOD!!! Billions of you live and breath every day wasting your lives away just like Michael Laszlo, never even trying to fulfill even a tenth of your potential!!! I gave you a chance Michael to strike me down and YOU FAILED!
{ GOD locks eyes on Bob Pooler for a moment. }GOD: Your failure to bring yourself to my level is only over shadowed by how utterly defenseless YOU WERE!
{ GOD is suddenly standing before Pooler, his eyes boring into him. }GOD: You failed your GOD.
{ Pooler sneers at GOD, there faces so close they could be touching. }GOD: You were told to destroy that unbearable insect Renee Pleasant but you couldn’t do that could you? You failed your GOD, your family, YOU FAILED EVERYONE!
{ Pooler’s eye twitches a little as he glares at GOD. }GOD: Drop to your knees and beg for my forgiveness.
{ GOD presses forward when the lights suddenly come on and “Cult of Personality” hits the PA to a huge pop. Mike Laszlo appears on the stage with Alexis at his side…sporting a nice diamond ring on her finger. The usual antics are gone as Mike stands atop the ramp, staring a hole through GOD. Mike Laszlo: Dominated? You want to talk about someone being dominated? How about the first five minutes of our match where I beat the hell out of you and won the Imperial Title?
{The crowd pops big.}Mike Laszlo: Now did I walk out of Legacy as champion? No. No, because some power hungry wannabe God with the power of booking, restarted the match after showing an ignorant referee that his foot was on the rope. He didn’t figure he would show him HOW it got there, but regardless, it was there. I get put through a table and the rest is history.
GOD: I BEAT YOU! END OF STORY!
Mike Laszlo: You did…congratulations. You beat me. Ana beat me. The Brothers Black beat me. The Age of X beat me. I did something last night too though. I proved that God is a mere man who can be beaten…I did it. I proved that without the help of his minions, God is nothing more than a pathetic worm who crawls about, spewing his lines of BS to those with the weakest of minds to believe him.
{The crowd starts chanting “BRAINWASHED!”}Mike Laszlo: So in the end, the reason I’m out here…let’s do it again.
{The crowd blows up.}Mike Laszlo: Let’s put on the match of a lifetime again. You and I, one-on-one! Prove to the world that you are God. Prove that you can beat me alone…because I know I can beat you.
GOD: YOU DIDN’T BEAT ANYONE! I DOMINATED YOU, YOU INSIGNIFICANT WORM! CHALLENGE…DENIED!
{The crowd overwhelmingly disapproves.}Mike Laszlo: I guess I’ll have to beat a yes out of you.
{Laszlo throws down the mic and starts running, full sprint to the ring when security fills the void between the ramp and the ring. Laszlo doesn’t care as he leaps in the air, but the herd of security catch him, holding him from the ring.}GOD: You had your chance Michael and you failed! GOD HAS SPOKEN!
{“Sail” plays as Laszlo continues to try and fight through security as GOD laughs and we cut to a commercial.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Kate Steel vs Ashley Mastrangelo
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall…
Vasco Dias: Great way to kick off the night.
Terri Morasco: Two of the current Diamonds on our roster going at it tonight.
{“Monster by Paramore” begins to blast all over the speakers. As it does so we are able to see Kate Steele-Warren emerge on the entrance ramp. She has a guitar in her hand but she doesn’t even bother to strum at it. She shows absolutely no emotion before she decides to hand her guitar to her husband Todd Warren who escorts her. She walks down to the ring locked in a trance as fans eagerly stretch out their arms to get the redhead to slap their hands. However what they get in return is nothing. No screaming, no reaction, just Kate simply walking to the ring. Todd smiles as he takes her place and tries to slap their hands but the fans pull back as they give him dirty looks.
She finally makes her way to the ring and once she gets there she quickly slides into the ring. The fans roar with Steele chants but she just bounces around for a bit not acknowledging them as her mind is focus on the match itself.}Vasco Dias: This young lady looks to make a statement tonight as she takes on the woman who beat her in the Heiress to the Throne, Ashley Mastrangelo.
Terri Morasco: These two squared off in a dark match before the show a couple of weeks ago, and again, things didn’t go Kate’s way. She has an uphill mountain to climb tonight.
{"What Have You Done" by Within Temptation begins to blare over the speakers as the crowd give a negative reaction to the reinvented Ashley Mastrangelo. She walks out onto the stage with a slow staggering walk before stopping atop the stage to cast her glare over the audience. She then heads down to the ring, unphased by any distractions as she's announced.}Alison Valance: From Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 112 pounds, ASHLEY MASTRANGELOOOOO!
{She gets to the steps and ascends them before entering the ring and walking to the far side ropes where again, she cast her gaze to a negative reaction before turning and backing into a corner, removing her robe, waiting for the match to begin.}Vasco Dias: She looks like she means business tonight.
Terri Morasco: She’s probably sick of facing and beating the same person over and over.
{The bell rings and the two women lock up in the center of the ring, Ashley eventually forcing Kate into the corner. The referee tries to get a clean break, but Ashley sticks her foot out and gets a clean shot into the ribs of Kate, collapsing her to her knees.}Vasco Dias: A hard shot from Ashley out of the corner.
{Ashley goes around the ref and begins stomping at the midsection of Steele before the referee pulls her away again. Kate manages to get to her feet, but to no avail as Ashley charges in with a knee that connects flesh in the face of Kate before she drags her out and hits a Bulldog in the center of the ring. She goes for a quick cover but Kate kicks out after two.}Vasco Dias: Real aggressiveness being shown by Ashley tonight.
Terri Morasco: I told you, she’s pissed.
{Ashley grabs Kate by the hair but gets surprised by a roll up that only results in a two count.}Vasco Dias: Ashley almost got caught.
Terri Morasco: Look out.
{Ashley drives her knee into the back of Kate’s head as the two are getting up. Kate looks to be unconscious in the center of the ring. Ashley rolls Kate onto her back and heads for the turnbuckle, climbing to the top, raising her arms in the air, and descending down upon Kate, looking for the “Elbow of the Damned” (Randy Savage Diving Elbow). KATE MOVES! Ashley crashes down hard, holding her elbow as Kate is slow to her feet. Kate now heads to the top turnbuckle as Ashley gets to her feet and Kate launches with a Flying Crossbody. She hooks the leg but only gets a two count.}Vasco Dias: Some offense from Kate now.
Terri Morasco: Indeed, can she string something together here?
{Kate lifts Ashley on her shoulders, looking like she’s setting her up for the Punk Driver (White Noise) but Ashley squirms out, rolling on the mat to her feet and when Kate turns around…FORGET ABOUT IT! (Superkick) With Kate out like a light, Ashley sets her up and lifts her into her variation of the Scorpion Cross Lock known as “Into the Darkness”.}Vasco Dias: What a submission hold by Ashley!
Terri Morasco: And it’s in the center of the ring.
{Kate struggles for a bit, but the pain is too much, even for her, and she taps out in the center of the ring. The bell rings.}Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner in your opening contest…ASHLEY…MASTRANGELOOOO!
Terri Morasco: Ashley showing her dominance over Kate again here tonight.
Vasco Dias: Indeed. It was a good fight to start off tonight’s card.
----------------------------------------------------------
MAN OF STEEL MATCH
Alioth Starre vs John Tolly
----------------------------------------------------------
{ As the lights dim, a spotlight in the shape of an 'A' within a circle, pierces the darkness and illuminates the stage. As the music haunts the arena, Alioth Starre emerges. The lights, like the stars of the cosmos swirl and twinkle throughout the arena, following him, and cascading around as if it were the universe itself contained within the arena. His hands behind his back, his eyes to the crowd, and his face stretched with a wry smile as he then approaches the ring, parting from his starting stance. Rolling inside, he stands back up, his arms stretched to catch the ropes he entered underneath from and steps up onto the first rope, leaning over as he interacts with the crowd. }Vasco Dias: Alioth Starre is the first man who will challenge Judas Alliah for his Invictus Championship.
Terri Morasco: He’s really taken the IWF by storm.
Vasco Dias: The people do seem to love him.
{ Blind starts up as the light flash in time with the music, pyro goes off as the are you ready hits....the words FRANCHISE flashes across the screen as John Tolly makes his way down to the ring, he sneers at the crowd as he saunters down the ramp. As he slides into the ring before posing in the ring. }Vasco Dias: John Tolly has fallen on hard times but a win here could change all that.
Terri Morasco: Absolutely, he’s just got to get his head back in the game.
{ Both men stand inside the steel cage as the referee calls for the bell. Tolly and Starre move to tie it up in the center of the ring, Tolly goes for a rear waist lock but Starre moves around him into a rear waist lock. Tolly reverses it into a rear waist lock his own and then tries for a side head lock but Starre throws his hips and looks for a German suplex, Tolly rolls through and pushes Starra into the ropes and grabs him for a neck breaker! }Vasco Dias: Tolly hits the first big move the match.
Terri Morasco: Wearing his opponent down is the key to victory in a man of steel match.
{ Tolly pulls him back up to his feet and drives a few knees into his mid section and sends him into the ropes. Tolly runs in with a big time splash and rips him out of the corner with a snap mare. Tolly looks for a rear chin lock and locks it in but Starre is able to twist around to his feet and hit several hard right hands and break the hold. Starre bounces off the ropes and comes back at Tolly who throws him into a sleeper hold. Tolly tries to bring Starre to the mat but he fights it off and hits a few hard elbows. Starre hits the ropes and comes back but Tolly hits a kick to the midsection and a pump handle back breaker! }Vasco Dias: Tolly is the definitely pressing an early advantage.
Terri Morasco: He’a heavier set man than Starre and he’s using that right now.
{ Tolly grins as he pulls Starre to his feet and throws him into the ropes. Starre comes back and hits a face breaker knee smash out of no where and sends Tolly reeling. Starre is right on him and spins him around into a brainbuster in the center of the ring! }Vasco Dias: Tolly was caught off guard there.
Terri Morasco: And now Starre is taking it to him.
{ Starre pulls him up to his feet and hits a big time back drop driver in the middle of the ring as the fans start to get behind him. He pulls Tolly up and sends him into the corner and runs in with a clothes line then whips him out with a hit toss and drop kicks him in the back of the head. Starra pulls him up to his feet and hits several hard knees into the mid section of John Tolly before throwing him face first into the steel cage. Starre hits an enzugiri and staggers Tolly. }Vasco Dias: Tolly needs to get his head back into this!
Terri Morasco: It may be too late!
{ Starre drives a hard knee into the gut of John Tolly and picks him up into pile driver position and drives him down hard into the mat. Starre gets up and signals for the end as he locks him into the Four Star Mary! }Vasco Dias: Tolly is in the center of the ring with nowhere to go!
Terri Morasco: He gets two rope breaks but he needs to get to the ropes first!
{ Starre wrenches hard and Tolly quickly taps the mat as he can’t break the hold. Starre is right up to his feet as the fans pop for him and the crowd cheers. }Vasco Dias: I hope Judas Alliah is watching because Alioth Starre is coming for him.

SINGLES MATCH
Renee Pleasant vs Mason St Croix
----------------------------------------------------------
{ "The War Isn't Over Yet" by Eye Empire begins playing and blue and white pyro shoots out from the walkway as Mason St. Croix stares straight ahead with his eyes focus on the ring and walks at a marching pace. Once in the ring Mason foregoes his customary climbing of the turnbuckles and salute. He demands the microphone from Alison Valance before she can even make any introductions. } Terri Morasco: Mason St. Croix looks focused on this match and he has something to say.
Mason St. Croix: Cut the music… NOW!
{ The music comes to an abrupt halt and Mason stares down the ramp towards the curtain. }Mason St. Croix: Right before I came out here I was informed that next week I would be competing for a shot at the Man of Steel Championship in a Best Two out of Three Falls match against Kyle Mason. Now correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Kyle the guy that I choked unconscious at Legacy?
Vasco Dias: He was!
Terri Morasco: I don't think he was asking you Vasco, everyone knows that Mason defeated Kyle at Legacy in one of the bloodiest matches I've seen in a long time.
Mason St. Croix: I've got no problem beating up Kyle again, it's kinda fun, but I shouldn't have to beat a guy that I've already beaten once to earn a shot at a title held by the guy I'm about to make look mortal for the first time in his IWF career. Reñee Pleasant you don't intimidate me, get your scraggly ass out here and meet the man that’s going to take the title you’ve been holding hostage for months.
{ Reñee emerges from the curtains and tosses his leather vest off while Mason throws the mic down and rolls out of the ring. He meets Pleasant halfway up the ramp and the two begin trading punches in the middle of the isle. A series of upper cuts from Reñee starts Mason moving backwards but he fires back with chopping kicks to the calf and thigh area of Reñee that doesn’t seem to phase him. }Terri Morasco: The match hasn’t even officially started yet but these guys are going at it with ill will towards one another.
Vasco Dias: If they never make it to the ring I’ll be happy, I’ve been looking forward to these two going at it for a while now and it’s happening.
{ Mason attempts another kick but Reñee catches it and holds Mason’s leg causing him to hop on one foot but the former IWF Heavyweight Champion snaps off a quick Enziguri that catches the Man of Steel Champion right behind the ear. The blow wobbles Reñee and allows Mason to Irish Whip him into the barricade. Pleasant hits the barricade back first and St. Croix follows up by charging at him but Reñee lowers his shoulder and tosses him over the barricade and into the crowd. Reñee climbs over the railing and the two hard hitting superstars go right back to trading right and left hands in the middle of the fans. }Terri Morasco: We need to get this under control, they’re fighting into the crowd.
{ The punches keep flying as they make their way to a clearing at the back of the arena and Reñee tosses Mason into a wall and begins driving his knee into the midsection of the Age of X member but Mason hooks his leg and hits a Capture Suplex sending Reñee head first into the wall. As Mason moves in a swarm of officials rush them and begin pulling Mason back which allows a staggered but still standing Reñee to hit The Dead Man’s Boot nearly taking Mason’s head off. More officials tackle Reñee and the crowd boos and chants “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” }Vasco Dias: I agree, they were just getting warmed up.
Terri Morasco: Well I think they’re going to have to finish this another time, this “match” that never actually began has been thrown out but I have a funny feeling this isn’t the last we’ll see these two go at it.

SEGMANT
”Ya seen Ace?”
----------------------------------------------------------
{ We cut backstage to Eddie Black in his “Bitch Tits” t-shirt complete with a Jake Conway smirk across the front. Eddie looks disgruntled as he wields a barbed wire wrapped didgeridoo looking under tables and chairs. Finally he spots one of the crew members talking into their ear piece. }Eddie Black: YOU!
{ Eddie points his terrifying and confusing weapon at the man who jumps back. }Eddie Black: I’m lookin’ for Jake “Bitch Tits” Conway, where he at?
Steve: I-I have no idea?
{ Eddie squints at the man as he gets dangerous close with the weapon. }Eddie Black: Boy, ya better not be lyin’ to me.
Steve: R-really I haven’t even seen him today…
{ Eddie pushes past the guy and heads to the lockers rooms, he kicks open the door and everyone inside jumps back, they all look right at the barbed wire wrapped didgeridoo as Eddie stomps in. }Eddie Black: Any of ya seen Conway?
{ They all shake their head, Eddie walks over to the locker marked “The Ace” and looks down where he sees a dust outline of a circle. Eddie smirks. }Eddie Black: Looks like Bitch Tits took his ball an went home
{ Eddie reaches up and peels the name plate off the locker and walks out. Everyone immediately starts talking about the crazy ass weapon Eddie was carrying as we head back to ring side. }----------------------------------------------------------
NON TITLE LEGACY REMATCH
Judas Alliah vs Kristoff Liam Bates
----------------------------------------------------------
{A spotlight falls from the ceiling as "In the Air Tonight" begins to play. Out from the curtain steps Judas, who scowls at the audience with disdain. He stretches his arms out to his sides and looks up into the spotlight before walking towards the ring, ignoring the taunts from the audience.}
Vasco Dias: Well, kiddos, here we go. Out first appears to be the man who won the Invictus Championship at Legacy, Judas Aliah.
Terry Morasco: The crowd seems pumped for this match between what could be called evil twins. Bates and Judas are both brutal human beings.
Vasco Dias: Yeah, well, I'm cheering for blood too, it's gonna be hell.
"They Say Freak...when you're singled out..."
{The lights dim and the heavy riff of "The Red" by Chevelle begins to plow through the P.A. The fans are on their feet, not because of the man who is about to come, but more because of what he's associated with. The red tinge of the lights eludes to the blood Kristoff Liam Bates spills as he crawls from behind the curtain, his eyes fixated on the ring.}"The Red....well it filters through.
SO LAY DOWN! The threat is real!
When his sight! Goes Red Again!"{Bates is halfway down the ramp, stalking like he would an opponent, the lights following him as he does so, briefcase at his side.}
"Seeing Red Again, Seeing Red Again."
{He slides under the ropes, removes his suitcoat and tie before beating himself once with the briefcase and tossing it out of the ring. He stretches on the ropes as the second verse plays waiting for the bell, and his chance to spill blood.}
Vasco Dias: And here's the man that's the reason Judas is grabbing his head every so often. He STABBED a man in the head with a letter opener. He's a sadistic man.
Terri Morasco: I think Judas is just as sadistic to win a match while someone's on him doing that to him...that's pretty badass.
{The ref checks them both for weapons, and Both audibly laugh as he finds absolutely nothing on either of them. Obviously they are not that stupid, but the ref has to do his job. The bell rings and the two lock up immediately. Judas, the bigger man, uses his massive girth to toss Bates to the far corner. He charges, only for Bates to slip through his legs and trip him, face first into the padded buckle. In the daze Bates begins to beat on the wounded skull of Judas. It doesn't take more than one hit to start getting the blood flowing again.}Vasco Dias: The crowd is getting blood tonight. First moments of this match and Bates goes RIGHT for the injury. He's been planning all week for this.Terri Morasco: I could only assume, and the crowd loves this. It's why they tune in to see our Invictus Division type matches, though this isn't one, the guys involved sure still know how to bend the rules to get blood to flow.{Judas reaches back, sees the blood on his hand and becomes completely enraged. He charges bates, leveling him with a massive shoulder block. As Bates falls to the floor, so too comes crashing the 300 pounds of Judas' massive frame. Bates can't move fast enough and gets crushed under the big man, the ref begins the count. ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Judas doesn't take it personally, he knows from before, that it would be too easy so he begins some mounted punches until he breaks open the flesh just above Bates' eye after about ten solid rights and the ref pulls him off to check Bates. This is a bad idea for the ref as Bates is fast to get up and charge with a Spear into the ropes with Judas, both go over the side and topple to the floor.}Vasco Dias: And here we go! To the outside they go. Will they resist the urge to get counted out or disqualified now?
Terri Morasco: I don't know, Vasco, but the crowd is on their feet at the prospect of more blood. Judas is starting to wear a crimson mask and Bates will be next, after the blows to his eye.
{Bates is the first up, somehow, and as the ref begins his countout, he rushes Judas and begins more hands on the stitches in his skull. Bates rips and pounds as the ref counts. Two...Three... Judas tosses him off, and Bates has to gain his balance quickly so he doesn't get slammed into the ringpost, it doesn't matter much since 300lbs of pain is right there waiting to grab his head and slam him HARD against the metal. Bates falls right to the floor and the ref is to Five. Judas looks at the crowd, and looks at Bates who is obviously dazed now, and rolls in and back out of the ring to break the count. Bates barely is moving, the cobwebs in his head and stars floating in front of his eyes. Judas grabs him up and slams him BACK FIRST into the post now, Bates screams in pain so loud even the crowd's cheers are drowned out.}Terri Morasco: Well, that's the end of his career. That didn't look good.Vasco Dias: He's still got movement in his legs, he's fine.Terri Morasco: So says you, the crowd has gone kind of quiet.{The ref comes out of the ring to check on Bates, and just before he has a shot to fully investigate Bates grabs his pants to pull himself up, which in turn makes the ref fall backwards and hit the post! HE IS NOW KNOCKED OUT!}Vasco Dias: And now, the rules are gone. Bates was using The ref's pants as leverage, now there IS NO REF.Terri Morasco: Damn...and the crowd is not against this.{Judas wastes no time to look under the apron, but he sees no weapons right here. Unfortunately for him, Bates has his briefcase and BAM! One hard slam on the back of Judas' skull and not only is the big man down, but blood is POURING from the wound. Bates drops the briefcase, slides it under the ring, and tries to get the ref up. Judas is groggy from blood loss now, and Bates obviously had this plan from the start, as for the minute he gets the ref up to his feet both slide into the ring and a new ten count begins. One...Two...Three...Four...Five...Six...}
Terri Morasco: Not like this. This is too cheap.
Vasco Dias: Too cheap, beat him till he's bleeding and groggy then just leave him to lie in his blood?
{Seven...Eight...But just as the ref hits nine, Judas is grabbing the ropes and Bates, surprisingly, helps bring him in the ring. Judas can hardly see who is helping him up, but the minute he gets to his feet and stares at a cocky Bates, he snaps. Bates winds up for a knockout punch, or what would have been only to have his arm grabbed, wrenched back, and his whole body lifted up and over the head of Judas. Bates' look, like the crowd's reaction, is of surprise and awe. He is slammed right down on his face, the hammerlock still held in place. Bates is now on the ground with his arm behind his back being wrenched out of it's socket. He screams in pain, and the ref tries to see if he is going to give up, but Kristoff is just shaking his head "NO NO NO!", either to refuse giving up, or to deny his plan failing. Judas has him right in the center of the ring, and slowly, methodically he wrenches the arm up more and more, but Bates somehow finds his way to a partial knee and uses his other arm to start half-drag half-crawling to the ropes. The crowd is on their feet and Judas is trying to wrench harder, the blood pouring from his face and dripping onto the back of Bates' shirt. Bates reaches the ropes, slips and then finally gets the momentum to grab them and the ref begins a five count on Judas. One...Two...Three...Four....FIVE! NO! Judas quickly releases and puts his hands up as if to say "I didn't go over, see". It doesn't last long, as the sudden change of elevation causes the big man to fall to a knee from the blood loss. The ref looks at him, and sees he's groggy.}Vasco Dias: Well, this is probably over, Judas Aliah is just barely there now, too much blood loss, and trying to stand too fast.Terri Morasco: I don't know, Bates is still in a lot of pain, if his arm is even still in it's socket.{Bates is smiling as Judas appears groggy, and slowly walks up to the big man, slapping him on his blood-covered face from the wound on his head. He goes to slap again only to have his arm grabbed, taken over to the ropes, slammed hard and then taken up for REALITY! Groggy, barely able to stand, Judas takes him up, and drops him down with a nasty neckbreaker! Somehow he can't finish the move fully, and falls on Bates, in pinfall position. The ref is quick to the count. ONe...Two...Bates is struggling but can't seem to get loose because his shoulders are still down for the THREE! Judas did it! The fans are going nuts as he has his hand raised, a bloody mess, and starts to smile just a little as he hears his name over the PA as the winner.}Terri Morasco: Looks like he pulled that out from under Bates. All good laid plans, or some such.
Vasco Dias: Indeed, and it looks like he'll have shut Bates up for a while, having finally pinned the former Invictus Champion.

SEGMENT
"The new commish in town."
----------------------------------------------------------
{ The camera’s cut back to ringside where we are joined by IWF COO Roberto Verona who is stood in the centre of the ring, basking in a torrent of abuse from the audience who boo as he raises the microphone to his lips. }Terri Morasco: It looks like we’re being joined by Roberto Verona, he promised us an announcement in an exclusive interview…
Vasco Dias: With yours truly!
Terri Morasco: *sighs* Yes…
Roberto Verona: Thank you everybody for the warm greetings, your love and support is truly a crutch through the darker days of life…
{ Verona smiles as the crowd continue to boo him before continuing. }Roberto Verona: Last Sunday, despite a valiant attempt, Mike Laszlo failed to defeat Angel for the Imperial Championship and tear the title from the grips of a man who is completely undeserving of the privilege of being an Imperial Champion and a terrible representative of this company. As a result, I told Angel Blake that an appointment would be made to assess his performance as Head of Booking and as a man who always follows through with his promises I can confirm he can continue to sit a little easily. For months he has abused his position of power and acted in a manner which does not befit a member of this corporate hierarchy whose integrity is without doubt it’s greatest strength…
{ The crowd boo as Roberto smiles. }Roberto Verona: So, without further delay, because I know you have absolutely no patience, may I introduce to you the new Commissioner of IWF, a person with impeccable moral standards with a proven track record in professional wrestling for success, fair judgement and a complete lack of bias…
{ The sound of a drum roll begins to play as Verona mockingly rotates his wrist with his free hand. }Roberto Verona: Jessica Reed!
Vasco Dias: What!?
Terri Morasco: Wait, did I hear him right?
{ “Die Young” by Ke$ha blasts through the PA system as the crowd erupt with cheers. A few moments pass before the IWF Hall of Famer Jessica Reed emerges from behind the curtains dressed in dress suit with a variety of pop culture pins on the collar, waving to the fans who continue to cheer. }Terri Morasco: This is the first time we’ve seen Jessica on television since her match with the Diamond’s Champion, Amber Richards, at Night of the Immortals!
Vasco Dias: Credit to Verona, he surprised me…
{ Jessica makes her way slowly down to the ring as Verona claps along, opening the ropes for Jess to climb through. As she gets into the ring she collects a microphone from a crew member before waving the crowd again as Verona and Reed wait for the noise levels to calm down a little. }Jessica Reed: Wow you guys…
{ Jess smiles as the crowd cheers again. }Jessica Reed: I’ve missed you too and when Bertie…
{ Roberto shoots Jess a stern look. }Jessica Reed: I mean Mr Verona… offered me this amazing opportunity I just couldn’t turn it down. I’ve been taking my time to recover completely before getting back inside the ring, but I promise my previous dealings with Angel… wait, are we still calling him that?
{ Jessica shrugs. }Jessica Reed: Anyways, I promise that despite his super mean attempts to end my career, there are no hard feelings, this is all strictly professional. I will be firm, but fair, with Mr Blake and give him an opportunity to prove that he is fit to serve as our Head of Booking.
{ Suddenly Verona takes a step forward and lowers Jess’ mic, causing the crowd to boo. }Roberto Verona: And allow me to make this very clear, Angel. If you have any inclinations to lay a single finger on Jessica’s head again it will not only result in the termination of your position as the Head of Booking, but the revocation of your Imperial Championship, all records your title reign being stricken from the records and… oh, this is my favourite… the immediate termination of your contract with IWF.
{ Verona smiles into the camera as the crowd suddenly erupts. }Terri Morasco: Holy crap! Did you hear that? If Angel so much as retaliates, he will be erased from company history… literally!
Vasco Dias: I’ll give Verona credit, he’s got balls.
{ “King of the World” by Porcelain and the Tramps hits the speakers as Verona begins to laugh, tossing his microphone to one side as Sacrifice fades into a commercial on the image of Jessica Reed and Roberto Verona stood in the ring. }----------------------------------------------------------
INVICTUS RULES SINGLES MATCH
Xavier Cross vs Kevin Evel
----------------------------------------------------------
{ The intro of "Immortal" starts playing, as smoke starts to well up at the top of the stage. When the drums and guitar kick in, Xavier pops out of the floor, hair dripping wet. He looks around in a daze for a moment, looking towards the crowd getting a mixed reaction. He takes a few steps forward, taking a deep inhale before marching down to the ring, slamming his hand onto his chest. Cross stares at the ring for a second before marching up the steps, looking around he doesn’t enter through the apron but climbs the outside of the turnbuckle, standing tall as he looks around the arena a grin on his face. He slaps his chest three times before hopping into the ring. He kisses his middle and index finger, pointing them to the sky, before looking down, crossing each wrist to make an X, he slowly raises his arms up. Each post shoots a pyro cannon perpendicular to each other, creating a flaming X for a moment. Xavier moves to the corner, pulling himself on top of the turnbuckle, adjusting the tape on his wrists, waiting for the bell to ring and the match to begin. }Vasco Dias: This past Sunday we saw Kevin Evel take part in a four way ladder match for a future Invictus title shot, now he came up short in that match but that was mainly due to over focusing on John Tolly.
Terri Morasco: The man gets creepily obsessed with his opposition.
Vasco Dias: On the other side of the ring we’ve got Xavier Cross who has been running head first into the door of Roberto Verona’s office, going as far as destroying a lot of our equipment a few weeks ago.
Terri Morasco: And it looks like Roberto’s way of saying thank you is putting him out here with a man possibly more blood thirsty than himself.
Vasco Dias: Cross had a hard fought match with Alex Jones that he came up short in, I’ve got to imagine he’ll be coming at this match with everything he’s got just to prove to Verona he won’t be taking his crap anymore.
{ “In Your Fur” starts to play over the loudspeakers and Kevin makes his way through the audience. A spotlight follows him, as an isle opens up through the sea of fans. He leaps the barricade and slides into the ring. He climbs the turnbuckle, smirks, and takes a long drag of his cigar. The audience showers him in boos and disdain, all of which seem to make his smile a little wider. } Vasco Dias: Kevin Evel is just standing there with that crazy look on his face.
Terri Morasco: Like most of our roster lately I’m not sure he’s all there in the head.
Vasco Dias: Xavier Cross should feel right at home in a ring with this guy.
{ The bell sounds and Evel runs right out of his corner and crashes into Cross with several hard right hands, the referee just steps back as no holds are barred, there are no DQ’s or count outs or rope breaks, pin fall or submission only inside the ring. Evel rears back and hits a hard right hand that drops Cross to the mat. Cross pops right back up and gets under one of the right hands and kicks him hard in the back and pulls him right into a dragon sleeper ddt. Evel pops right up to his feet and drives his shoulder into the mid section of Cross and then does it again and sends him into the corner. Evel runs in with a clothes line but Cross ducks and sends him over the ropes with a back drop. Evel lands on the apron and punches Cross right in the face. Evel steps half way back into the ring and propels himself off the bottom rope and clothes lines Cross! }Vasco Dias: Both men are just going back and forth here so far.
Terri Morasco: I think Xavier is trying to feel Evel out but the man is incredibly unorthodox.
{ Both men get right to their feet and start to exchange right hands in the center of the ring. Evel starts to get the upper hand and pulls Cross into a shoulder block, he whips Cross off and into the ropes, Cross spring boards off the ropes and hits the Phoenix Driver DDT! Cross is up right away and grabs Evel by the head but Evel explodes with a European upper cut. He pushes Cross into the corner and unloads some hard kicks to the midsection. Evel runs across the ring and bounces off the turnbuckles and flies back across the ring and hits a big splash in the corner. Evel snapmares Cross out of the corner, Evel climbs up onto the second rope and jumps off but Cross kicks up with the GREAT SCOTT KICK! Evel is leveled against the turn buckles. }Vasco Dias: Evel is a flat out brawler, no finesses, no showmanship, just brutal.
Terri Morasco: Which makes him incredibly hard to deal with.
{ Cross runs straight at Evel in the corner and spears him against the turn buckles. Xavier steps back and pulls Evel out into a short arm clothes line. He pulls Evel up to his feet and sends him into the ropes, Cross runs in after him but Evel ducks the attempted clothes line and spins around on his heels and drives his thumb into the eye of Xavier Cross and then he sends him spilling over the top rope with a massive clothes line, Cross lands awkwardly on his shoulder and falls to the floor. Evel runs back across the ring and comes back, he grabs the ropes to propel himself over the top and drops both knees onto the back of Xavier Cross as he gets to his hands and knees and sends him face first down into the padded floor. Evel is right back up and seems to be perfectly fine. }Vasco Dias: This guy is a little bit sadisitic.
Terri Morasco: A little?
{ Evel starts ripping up the padded mats and revealing the hard concrete floor. }Vasco Dias: Ok, very sadistic.
{ He pulls Cross up to his feet and tries to lift him up for a pile driver but Cross throws his weight and instead hits a back drop driver on Evel right on the hard concrete! Cross grabs Evel up off the floor and picks him up into a high angle scoop slam and drops him back first across the floor. Cross gets a bit of a sadistic grin going as he turns to the ring apron and throws it up over the ring. He starts digging around underneath and finally pulls out a steel chair but he tosses that into the ring. Cross then finds a ladder and pulls that out. }Vasco Dias: Bright side, it’s at least legal for him to destroy company property this week.
Terri Morasco: That’s a bright side?
Vasco Dias: Well…
{ Cross sets the ladder up as a bridge from the ring apron to the guard rails and pulls Evel to his feet. He bounces Evel’s head off the ladder and then pushes him up onto it. Cross climbs up on the apron and then steps out onto the ladder, he pulls Evel back to his feet and sets him up for the Nazi Hunter but Evel hits a low blow! }Vasco Dias: OHHH!!!!
{ Evel quickly stands and grabs Cross for BRAINBUSTER OFF THE LADDER ONTO THE EXPOSED CONCRETE! }Vasco Dias: JESUS!
{ Evel just ignore the pain in his own back as he pulls Cross to his feet and whips him hard into the ladder which practically takes his head off as he runs into it and slams down hard onto his back. Evel grabs him and pulls him up and sends him back first into the corner of the guard rails with a football style tackle. Evel sneers as he climbs up onto the ring apron and walks the length of the ring, he turns and runs all the way down the apron before jumping off and driving both knees into the chest of Xavier Cross as he lays in the corner of the guard rails!!! }Vasco Dias: Oh my god… That was just… I don’t know…
Terri Morasco: Intense.
{ Evel staggers to his feet and grabs Cross by the hair, he walks him over to the ring post and slams him into it before rolling him into the ring. Evel jumps up onto the apron and climbs into the ring. He walks around Cross and grabs the steel chair, he looks at Cross as he lifts it up and brings it down but Cross moves out of the way, he gets to his feet and bounces off the ropes and comes back with a massive spear through the chair into Kevin Evel!!! }Vasco Dias: Cross putting his own body on the line for that spear!
Terri Morasco: The man is fed up and he wants to show the world what he’s capable of!
{ Cross picks the chair up and stands it on it’s legs. }
Vasco Dias: He’s got something planned here.
{ Cross pulls Evel up and looks for the Nazi Hunter but KING OF THE WORLD HITS THE PA!!!! Cross gets distracted and Evel spins him around into the CRUEL HAND! And brings him down onto the chair! Evel covers him. ONE! TWO! THREE!!! }Vasco Dias: Kevin Evel picks up a huge victory here over Xavier Cross!!
Terri Morasco: With a little assistance from Roberto Verona....
{ Evel stands up to a chorus of boos with his hand raised high in the air. Xavier Cross sits in the middle of the ring chuckling sort of sadistically. }----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMANT
”Let him go.”
----------------------------------------------------------
{ Backstage we find GOD hoarding over a monitor with the image of Jessica Reed frozen in place on it. He’s breathing heavy as he glares at it when a hand suddenly grabs him by the shoulder and spins him around, he comes face to face with a very upset looking Bob Pooler. }Bob Pooler: What the hell was that about earlier!?
{ GOD sneers at Bob. }GOD: Whatever do you mean?
Bob Pooler: You know exactly what I mean, you basically embarrassed me out there in front of everyone.
{ GOD’s demeanor quickly changes to one of anger as his sneer disappears. }GOD: YOU EMBARASSED YOURSELF!
{ Pooler doesn’t flinch as GOD gets nose to nose with him. }GOD: You failed me. YOU! FAILED!
{ Something snaps inside Pooler in that moment and he hauls off and punches GOD right in the side of the head. GOD stumbles, Mason St Croix suddenly appears behind GOD as well as Ana Valentine as Pooler brushes past all of them. Mason moves after him but GOD stops him. }GOD: Let him go.
{ He smiles as he rubs his jaw. }GOD: He’s condemned himself.
{ Fade back to ringside. }----------------------------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCH
Alex Jones and Mike Laszlo vs The Brothers Black
----------------------------------------------------------
{ Respect by Avenged Sevenfold hits the pa as Frank and Eddie Black walk out onto the stage, Rachel stands behind them. The two brothers look around before hyping each other up and running down to the ring and sliding in, they pop up to their feet and double high five before turning to the crowd and yelling. Rachel watches from the outside. } Vasco Dias: Well The Brothers Black were certainly instrumental in keeping the Imperial Championship out of Mike Laszlo’s hands last week.
Terri Morasco: Instrumental? They basically cost him the match.
Vasco Dias: I’m sure that’s how Mike Laszlo looks at it and I’m sure he’s going to be happy to beat the two of them to hell.
{ The lights shut off as the start of "This fire" by Archie Wilson comes on, white strobe lights flash with the drum beat of the opening until, A spotlight shines on the entranceway. Alex Jones emerges wearing a black hoodie with a white dallas cowboy styled star on the back, a COD Ghosts face mask wrapped around his face. He walks down to the ring and leaps onto the apron sliding across it before getting into the ring and leaping onto the second rope instigating the crowd. He jumps down and runs to the opposite corner and does the same as the music dies down. }{ "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour hits the sound system, Mike Laszlo walking out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to a favored reaction from the crowd. Surveying those who cheer, a grin comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a confident walk, slapping hands with some fans along the isle who outstretch their hands, Alexis by his side holding his other hand. The two get to the end of the ramp before Mike lifts Alexis onto the apron. She enters the ring as Mike rolls in under the bottom rope. He climbs the outside ropes to the top rope in the corner nearest the entrance ramp and poses for the crowd amassing a magnitude of cheers. He jumps down and goes to the opposite corner and does the same, garnering the same reaction. With a smile on his face he jumps down and backs into the corner, clasping his hands together and twirling his wrists as he gets ready for the match. } Vasco Dias: Mike Laszlo is of course joined by long time rival of GOD, the winner of the 2014 Joker in the Pack, Alex Jones.
Terri Morasco: Alex Jones has come a long way the last year and has really rised to be a top face in the company.
Vasco Dias: A top face that will sooner or later have to bump heads with whomever the Imperial Champion is, though I’m sure he’d prefer it be GOD.
Terri Morasco: I’m sure he would but first they have to get through the Brothers.
{ The bell sounds and Frank is starting us off for his team, Mike for his and Laszlo comes out of the corner and looks to tie up with Frank. He hits a quick kick and then a side head lock take down. Laszlo starts to viciously kick Frank in the back over and over and over again before burying his knee into his back and wrenching back on his chin. Laszlo rips Frank to his feet and whips him hard into the corner. He runs in with a massive shoulder block to the mid section and then grabs the ropes so he can plow into Frank over and over before walking him out of the corner with a snap mare. Laszlo hops up onto the second rope and jumps off and drives his knee into the chest of Frank Black. }Vasco Dias: Mike Laszlo showing the same intensity we saw from him at Legacy.
Terri Morasco: He needs to keep this kind of momentum going if he wants to get back in there against GOD.
{ Laszo pulls Frank to his feet and hits a big upper cut that spins him around, he hooks him into a full nelson and lifts him into the air and brings him down into a back breaker. Mike makes a cover. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Laszlo pulls Frank to his feet and hits three rapid knife edge chops that drive Frank back into the corner. He kicks him several times before hoisting him onto the second rope and hooking him up into a muscle buster! Mike goes for another cover. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: Frank and Eddie are two tough SOB’s who can take a lot of punishment.
Terri Morasco: Looks like Laszlo is more than prepared to dish it out.
{ Laszlo pulls Frank up and sends him into the corner with Alex Jones. Mike hits a big shining wizard in the corner and then brings Frank out with the running bull dog. }Vasco Dias: Laszlo with a page out of GOD’s bible with the Heaven’s Fury bulldog from the corner!
{ Mike is up and tags in Alex Jones who quickly climbs to the top rope and leaps off with SPIRAL TAP!!! Alex quickly covers Frank but Eddie is wuick to break it up and pull Alex to his feet who connects with the AJ guri and drives Eddie back. Frank quickly grabs the tights and rolls Alex up. ONE! TWO! Mike breaks it up. Laszlo hits Eddie with a running clothes line and sends him over the top rope and to the floor. Mike follows him out as Alex and Frank get to their feet. Alex throws a high shin kick but Frank gets under it and bounces off the ropes and throws himself at Alex with a cross body block. Both men get to their feet pretty kick but Frank hits a kick right across the gut of Alex and then one to the back his knees. On the outside Mike sends Eddie into the steps. Inside the ring Frank runs past Alex and bounces off the ropes, he comes straight at him and hits a roll over reveres neck breaker on the kneeling Alex Jones. }Vasco Dias: The action has picked up here.
Terri Morasco: Mike Laszlo is still punishing Eddie Black!
{ Frank sees Mike and runs to the ropes, he gets a good bounces and flies back across the ring, Frank leaps through the ropes and Mike Laszlo jumps into the air and pulls Frank down into the NO MERCY! }Vasco Dias: NO MERCY!
{ Mike picks Frank up and rolls him into the ring. Laszlo climbs back up onto the apron as Alex Jones rises to his feet. Jones makes the tag now to Mike who climbs into the ring and sizes Frank up. }Vasco Dias: Frank needs to tag out, he’s been in there too long.
Terri Morasco: I’m with you, he’s got to get Eddie in there.
{ Mike goes to grabs Frank but Eddie blasts him from the side with a running boot to the side of the head. Eddie quickly pulls Mike up and rams him shoulder first into the ring post! }Vasco Dias: Eddie attacking that shoulder that GOD worked over Sunday!
{ Alex clubs Eddie over the back and spins him around into a clothes line. The referee pushes Alex back as Eddie heads to his corner. Mike pushes himself out of the corner but Frank connects with the Redneckanesse super kick and sends Mike back into the corner. Frank runs across the ring and bounces off the turn buckles and comes back with a vicious knee in the corner and crushes Mike’s head against the turn buckles. Frank makes the tag to Eddie and the two of them pull Mike up to his feet and hit a double clothes line. They pull him back up and hit a double release overhead suplex! }Terri Morasco: Why is the referee allowing this to happen!?
{ Alex storms the ring but the referee stops him as Frank steps out. Eddie pulls Mike to his feet and clubs him hard over the back and then drives a knee into his midsection. Eddie drives an elbow down on the back of the neck of Mike and then whips him into the ropes. Eddie catches him with the Lou Thez press and starts to drive hard right hands into the face of Mike Laszlo. }Vasco Dias: Laszlo has lost his momentum.
Terri Morasco: The Brothers threw him off his game.

The two brothers stomp a mud hole in the body of Mike Laszlo as he drops down. Frank runs across the ring and hits Alex with a forearm shiver and knocks him off the apron. He and Eddie then run from opposing corners and hit double drop kicks on Mike in the corner. Frank drags him out and covers him. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Terri Morasco: Laszlo just keeps persevering!
Vasco Dias: It’s all he can do. It’s what he’s best at.
Terri Morasco: You just can’t kill him!
{ Frank pulls him to his feet and whips him hard across the ring, Mike bounces off the ropes and comes back to Frank who looks for a spear but Mike somehow pulls him up into the air and brings him down for MALICIOUS INTENT! }Vasco Dias: MALICIOUS INTENT!!!

{ The arena pops at his show of defiance. }Mike Laszlo: Me, Alex Jones, we’re not afraid of your goons! Renee Pleasant isn’t afraid! You may think you’ve got a stranglehold on this company but the tighter you squeeze the more it slips right through your fingers!
{ The crowd cheers for Laszlo as Jones watches. }Mike Laszlo: You can deny me my rematch all you want but that isn’t going to stop me from coming for you. I took out your little brothers tonight, keep setting them up and I’ll keep knocking them down until you’re all that’s left.
{ Laszlo drops the mic and hops out of the ring, grabbing Alexis he makes his way up the ramp as the crowd cheers. }Vasco Dias: Strong words from Mike Laszo to GOD. I can’t imagine GOD will be happy.
