Mike Laszlo has made it his mission in life to take the the IWF World Championship off the waist of the self proclaimed GOD of IWF, Angel Blake and bring it back to it's Imperial roots.
Mike Laszlo dominated the opening minutes of their match just one month ago and even managed to get a pinfall over GOD but it seemed on instant replay that GOD had his foot on the ropes and the referee missed it, therefor but GOD's order the match was restarted and through various nefarious means GOD was able to retain his championship.
Laszlo has not forgotten, nor has he forgiven GOD, he held the championship in his hands for a few brief moments and he's hungrier than ever. The question is will he be able to dominate once again this month? The odds have been evened out, if anyone from the Age of X interferes with this match they will all be fired also the special guest referee is a man with no love lost between himself and either of the competitors, Spike Kane. If either of them get out of line Spike is surely to put them in their place.
This is a huge match for both competitors, Mike Laszlo has been looking to cement himself as a top contender for years and if GOD is able to retain this weekend he becomes the longest reigning Imperial/World Champion the IWF has ever seen.
IWF's very future may hang in the balance this weekend and it will be interesting to see where the chips fall. One thing is for certain, neither man is going to back down.
