Wrestler's Name: Jack Gaither
Nickname(s): "The Golden Eagle"
Gimmick: Known as "The Golden Eagle," Jack Gaither has traveled the world as a pro wrestler for the past seven years. In an arena, he plays the role of a rough and tough talkin' showman--a maverick cowboy who takes his challenges very seriously while putting on a good show for the paying customers. Outside the ropes, however, he's a soft-spoken, gentle man who loves being on the road and sharing stories with the people he meets.
To this very day, Jack sports a pair of scars over his right eye that stem from a car accident he was involved in at age 5, a head-on drunk driving crash that took his mother's life and left him in a coma.
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 181 lbs.
Birthdate: March 24, 1982
Place of Birth: Arlington, TX
Alignment: Tweener (He's an antihero like Captain Kirk; deep down, Jack is a nice guy to hang around--that is, 'til it's time to NOT be nice.)
Pic Base: Tony Romo
Appearance/Attire: Out of the ring, you can always find Jack wearing blue jeans, black boots, and a jersey/hat combination that represents the city he's currently touring. In the ring, Jack often wears silver, blue, and gold boots with matching long pants.
Theme Music: "Bulls On Parade" -Rage Against the Machine
Entrance: The familiar screech of an eagle is heard, and a burst of pyro goes off as Rage Against the Machine's "Bulls On Parade" kicks into high gear. Within the plumes of white smoke, a lone spotlight shines brightly as the figure of Jack Gaither appears on-stage, his head covered by a gleaming silver mask featuring blue and gold trims on all sides. Wearing a sports jersey and all silver tights with a pattern of gold and blue flames on both sides--not to mention blue boots with silver tassels--the "Golden Eagle" quickly springs down to ringside, high-fiving random folks along the way. As he approaches the ring, Jack takes off his mask and gives it to a lucky fan, revealing the permanent twin scars above his right eye. A cannon goes off just as the lights come back on en masse.
Special Entrance:
Primary Style: MMA
Secondary Style: Lucha Libre
Other Style: High-flying, Hardcore, technical
Strengths: 1. Iron Will
2. Speed/Quickness
3. Longevity
Weaknesses: 1. The Left Knee (tore his ACL and MCL during a high school football game in 1999, costing him a free ride to Baylor; opponents will often keep Jack grounded by taking out said knee)
2. The Size (Jack is undersized, thus leaving him prone to larger opponents)
3. Overconfidence (Yes, Jack does get a little TOO carried away in the ring sometimes--especially going high-risk)
Favourite Moves: 1. Dropkick
2. Deep Armdrag Takedown
3. Snap Suplex
4. Vertical Suplex
5. Waistlock Takedown
6. Nelson Pin
7. Keylock
8. Crucifix
9. Corkscrew Plancha
10. Headscissors Takedown
Trademark Move(s) and Description(s): 1. "Overdrive" -- In this move, Jack picks up the stunned opponent and lifts him high; then, Jack does a 360-spin and slams his opponent head-first to the canvas.
2. "Mantis Kick" -- In this move, Jack gets up to the top turnbuckle and goes into a praying mantis position. The moment his opponent gets to his feet, Jack will leap off the turnbuckle and hit him flush in the jaw with a flying single-leg kick.
3. "Iron Claw" -- Perfected by another legendary Texas wrestling family, the Iron Claw is executed when Jack grips the pressure points on his opponent's face with his left hand in a claw-like fashion.
3. "Texas Twister" - This is Jack's testicular claw...you heard that right, a testicular claw--featuring a twist so painful that the victim will be singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" in falsetto for a week. (NOTE: Only use this move against people Jack totally dislikes)
Finisher(s) and Description: 1. "Overdrive" -- See #1 under "Trademark Moves" for a description.
2. "The Screecher" -- It's Jack's version of the Stunner...except that he can pull it off from any angle out of nowhere.
3. "The Flashover" -- As his opponent's back is turned, the "Golden Eagle" runs toward him/her with a head full of steam and executes a bulldog; after the bulldog, Jack places his right arm around his opponent's neck. Then, the Arlington native gator rolls to the right and uses his left arm--with right and left hands clasped together--to crank up the pressure on his victim's neck, forcing an immediate submission. In essence, this move is essentially a bulldog and MMA-style D'arce choke rolled into one package.

JACK GAITHER BIOGRAPHY
Jack Gaither is, perhaps, one of the most accomplished athletes that have made the transition from football to wrestling. A former Heisman Trophy finalist and Maxwell Award winner during his days as a quarterback for the Houston Cougars, this native of Arlington, TX stood at the top of his game until a knee injury derailed his career in December 2006. While in rehab, he discovered tapes of his father David in the Japanese wrestling circuit, and so, Jack decided to embark on his own career. Throughout his seven year career, Jack wound up bouncing around through several different organizations. Yet his most successful run came in 2010 and 2011 as a member of the old Premiere Wrestling Alliance. After leaving PWA in December 2011, the man known to fans as "The Golden Eagle" would eventually land in the St. Louis-based Redemption Wrestling; after Redemption folded in 2014, Jack signed on with the IWF.
