IWF.com β Highly decorated disabled United States Army veteran Walt Jenkins is said to be comfortably resting at his Jacksonville, FL home less than a week after being strapped to his wheel chair and pushed off a 12 foot high stage on the December 1st episode of Sacrifice. Jenkins, who is a 26 year old double amputee was awarded a Purple Heart in 2012. Mr. Jenkins served under current IWF Man of Steele Champion Mason St. Croix in Afghanistan from 2007 to 2010 as part of a special Ranger Regiment. He was seen at Sacrifice as a guest of St. Croix and appeared to be trying to convince his former commanding officer to walk away from his Age of X stalemates. The conversation was overheard and orders were given by Angel Blake for the Brothers Black to take out Jenkins. While Mason St. Croix fought valiantly to protect his friend from his now former stablemates, Eddie Black was still able to push Jenkins off the stage and through some production equipment. Jenkins suffered a concussion, burns to his face and neck as well as a separated shoulder but avoided any lasting injuries from the horrific fall.
St. Croix traveled with Jenkins to the hospital and has made multiple visits from his home in Savannah, GA to see his friend since he returned to Florida. IWF.com was unable to reach St. Croix for comments but he did release a statement via his very little used Twitter account moments ago.
βWalt Jenkins is an innocent man who could have been hurt a lot worse than he was because he believed there was still some good left in me. I don't know how right he is about that but I know that I'll get vengeance for my friend.I know who gave the orders but there's a long line in front of me to kick his ass so I'll start with the ones who carried out the orders. I hope Frank and Eddie Black read this because I'm coming for them. We're gonna be forced to do laps around the arena this week on Sacrifice and you boys better run like your lives depend on it because if I catch you you're going to be begging someone to let you and save you from me. β
