Nearly two weeks removed from what some have termed a heinous assault against Felicity Fade, Firenze Everett now moves on to the Metamorphosis where much to her chagrin, she is being made to defend her IWF Ruby Title against a wily veteran by the name of Rayne. She along with her benefactor Sebastian Wolf had lobbied for her to have a well deserved night off at the first pay per view of 2015 however, IWF Management had other plans for her and now the time has come for her to put up or shut up in the eyes of most of the other Diamonds.
Labeled as brash and arrogant as well as undeserving by some, Firenze is looking to silence her critics and establish herself as the top Diamond of the division with a victory against an established Diamond like Rayne however that is going to be easier said than done. Nevertheless, she is both angered at having to defend her title yet pleased at the idea of being able to quell the naysayers by doing what she does best and that is retaining her title.
Reaching the top is easy, staying there is the real challenge.
Thursday 1/22 – 12 Noon
Scene: The First Defense – Firenze Everett’s New Penthouse Suite in Los Angeles, CA
*The scene opens up in what appears to be a penthouse suite at the top floor of a luxurious hotel, no doubt made possible by Sebastian Wolf’s never-ending finances. The hotel is luxuriously furnished with marble flooring, luxurious leather seats and Firenze is shown sitting back in one of the comfortable leather seats, opposite her is none other than IWF’s own Terri Morasco set to interview her as there is an IWF camera crew present. Sebastian Wolf is shown pacing in the background behind both of the chairs. Firenze is wearing a black leather jacket, burgundy blouse and black jeans, black sunglasses with the IWF Ruby Title draped around her shoulder while Sebastian is walking around in a black sportcoat, black v-neck shirt, and jeans. Terri is in her usual announcer garb as she begins.*
Terri Morasco: Alright Firenze…
Firenze Everett: Have we not been over this before Terri? You address me as Ms. Everett, the greatest IWF Ruby Champion of all time.
*Terri is taken aback a bit*
Terri Morasco: Greatest IWF Ruby Champion of all time? You haven’t even defended the title yet and didn’t you lose to Ana Valentine two weeks ago on Sacrifice?
*Firenze’s smirk turns into a frown but she remains seated comfortably, visibly holding back her emotions*
Firenze Everett: Let me clarify what happened. You saw it and Sebastian saw it, what happened was that Alex Jones got involved in my match, illegally I might add, which should have caused a disqualification and the match should have been awarded to me therefore, in my book, I didn’t lose anything. Ana Valentine simply robbed me of what is rightfully mine and is walking around like she actually earned something.
Terri Morasco: That’s a hell of a skewed view of things don’t you think? Frankly a pack of lies.
Firenze Everett: Is that right? Tell you what Terri, since you’re such a great fan of Ana Valentine, why don’t you go interview her? Hmm? Why don’t you ask her why I have to be forced to defend my title at Metamorphosis while she gets the night off? Hmm? Is that some kind of punishment because of what I did to oh poor little Felicity?
Terri Morasco: You have to agree that was undeserved.
*Firenze simply laughs at this suggestion*
Firenze Everett: I don’t have to agree on anything. In fact, let me tell you a little story about poor little Felicity. You see, a lot of folks don’t know this but I paid a little visit to Felicity in the hospital after I taught her a lesson and I had Sebastian film the proceedings.
Sebastian Wolf: That was a great night!
Firenze Everett: In fact, let’s play it for our guest Terri here. Not to mention I know Rayne will be watching this and I want her to see just what I’m capable of doing.
*Firenze reaches for a remote and turns on a large screen TV on the wall and starts playing some footage where Firenze is shown walking a hallway with a relatively shaky camera behind her. The footage is dated as Monday 1/12/15, no specific time is given*

*Felicity wakes up but is medicated and cannot move freely at this point but the rage in her eyes is clear*
Firenze Everett: Oh don’t get up, Sebastian and I just came by to pay you a little visit, we wanted to see how you were doing and if you had learned the lesson I had attempted to teach you earlier tonight.
Felicity Fade: Fuck you stupid bitch!
*Firenze laughs at this*

*Firenze then takes the title and starts rubbing it right in Felicity’s face and pushing it right up against her face while screaming at her*
Firenze Everett: This title is ALL MINE! ALL MINE! NOT YOU, NOT ANYONE IS EVER TAKING THIS FROM ME!
*Firenze then pulls out a knife and cuts open the bag of IV and tosses the IV liquid all over Felicity as she begins to cough up at the liquid being poured at her and Firenze starts punching her in the face. At this moment, the camera switches to show her friend Razz walking in on this and quickly puts a headlock on Sebastian as the camera shot is now out of whack and the camera has been knocked down and is simply on the floor at an angle but sound can still be heard*
Razz: I’ll break his neck, I swear I’ll break his neck.
Firenze Everett: Okay, calm down Razz, calm down. We were just leaving. Let him go.
Razz: Step away from Felicity and I will let him go!
Firenze Everett: Okay, I’m slowly walking away, walking toward the door here. I’m at the door now Razz. Let him go.
Razz: Okay.
*Razz pushes Sebastian toward Firenze as both make their leave and Razz is shown calling for help as the footage cuts off*
Back to the Present Day
*Firenze turns off the TV and smirks at her handiwork*
Firenze Everett: Wasn’t that nice Terri? You see, that’s why I wasn’t at Sacrifice last week. After that incident, officials asked me to take the week off without pay and fined me $25,000 for what I’d done. It’s not fair to me but then again, what’s $25,000 to folks like us?
Sebastian Wolf: Mere pennies.

Firenze Everett: We don’t care about your opinion or approval, I made a point to Felicity Fade and thanks to me, she will never, ever be seen in IWF ever again, I promise you that!

Firenze Everett: Let’s face facts, that’s all she would ever be good at anyway. She’s over the hill and needs to step aside so that the present and future of the IWF Diamond’s Division can receive better competition because at about double my age, she simply will not be able to keep pace with me. She can cite whatever she wants, she can call me all the names she wants, she can claim that I sold out and that I am a rich bitch and blah blah blah but the reality of it is I did not grow up rich and never did I have anything handed to me. What I have, I have because I earned it! I do not suffer from egotism because honestly, I have simply gone out there to the squared circle and done exactly what I said I was going to do. I beat Felicity Fade, I beat Ana Valentine regardless of what the record book may say and it says something that the Ruby Champion is being booked on PPV whereas the Diamond’s Champion is nowhere to be found, tells me that IWF Management realize who the real star of the division is and if this is my charitable act of the year, so be it.
Firenze Everett: Rayne, I’m gonna make it really simple for you. You can watch all my matches that you like, you can try and doubt my abilities despite the fact that I have never used money to do what I do best in the ring, and I have earned my keep here by becoming the Ruby Champion in nearly record time. You … you’re simply a roadblock on my way to greatness and the world is for the young and strong, not the old and feeble. It is simply natural selection in action and this Sunday, what’s going to happen is that natural selection will take place and the young and strong Firenze Everett will dispose of the old and feeble Rayne and you will go down in history as the bitch who headed out without accomplishing a damn thing in the Imperial Wrestling Federation. Tell you what, we’ll send you some flowers for your retirement party. And then you along with the rest of the naysayers will have to not only respect me but acknowledge me as the greatest IWF Ruby Champion of all time, something that Terri never had thanks to her weak body giving out on her and something you will never have thanks to your inability of getting over yourself and not accepting the fact that you are and always will be inferior to me.
