IWF.com - Video footage of Killian Creed and Mason St. Croix, collectively known as Scars and Stripes, training for their street fight against The Brother's Black for the IWF Tag Team Championships has gone viral. The nearly 12 minute clip highlights the three days earlier this week that the pair spent participating in a SealFIT Kokoro Camp in California.
“Kokoro Camp is designed to help you discover the deep power of your resilient spirit over your mind, and your mind’s control over your body,” the Sealfit site explains. “You’ll be pushed to your limits, because that’s where the biggest breakthroughs happen. That’s also why this is not ‘something you try.’ … You must have a deep and powerful reason for
attending this camp, and be ready to pay the price for the ultimate freedom you’ll gain by the end.”
St. Croix, a former United States Army Ranger was familiar with the Kokoro Camp which was developed based on the U.S. Navy's famed "Hell Week" but is designed for civilians to test themselves and to better condition their bodies and minds for any type of competition. The former Ranger and Man of Steel Champion had previously participated in a Kokoro Camp before he competed in the 2013 Extinction Event match where he won the now defunct IWF Heavyweight Championship.
IWF camera's were able to catch up with the team outside LAX to ask them about their match with The Black's at Metamorphosis.
"We're ready." St. Croix responded while Creed scowled at the camera and fired up a Camel.
