-------------Wrestler Info-------------
Wrestler's Name: Corey Lazarus
Nickname(s): The Premier Attraction, the Hollywood Kid, the Living Icon, the Platinum Knight, the L-A-Z
Gimmick: Corey is that rich dickhead everybody knew growing up, the one who could either be your best friend or your worst enemy, and he knows it. Years spent in Hollywood, in rings around the world, and the use/abuse of various substances have left him a little...eccentric, to say the least.
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 235 lbs.
Place of Birth: Hollywood, CA (billed from and resides in Malibu, CA)
Date of Birth: June 21, 1978
Alignment: Tweener
Pic Base: Dan Stevens
Appearance/Attire: While not as well-defined as in years prior, Corey is obviously in ring shape. In the ring, he wears custom fight shorts made of a cotton and polyester blend and adorned with black, gold, silver, and ruby red designs, along with matching knee and kick pads. He tapes both of his hands/wrists with white athletic tape, his left more so than the right, and sports a single black elbow pad on his arm running from mid-bicep to mid-forearm. He keeps his beard short-and-scruffy, and either lets his hair flow wild in that "intentionally messy" manner or slicked back. His only visible scar is one on his forehead running from his hairline diagonally to the outer corner of his left eyebrow as he spares little cost in plastic surgery to diminish the visibility of others (though he has had plenty).
Theme Music: Lo-Fidelity Allstars - "Battleflag"
Entrance: {An old fashioned, black and white film countdown rolls on the screen, starting at 5 and working its way down to 1, at which point Lo-Fidelity Allstar's "Battleflag" cues up with "I SAID HALLELUJAH!" Corey Lazarus wanders out from behind the curtain, the hood of his entrance jacket up and his eyes hid behind his Ray Bans. Rocky Chavez walks out from behind him, carrying a towel and a bottle of water, following the L-A-Z down to the ring and dealing with his wandering ways. Corey rolls under the bottom rope and kips up to his feet, almost immediately throwing off his jacket and spinning around with his arms spread to his sides, basking in whatever adulation may come his way.}
Special Entrance: The same, only he'll likely take some more time to pose and jaw with fans if there's championship gold around his waist.
Primary Style: Technical
Secondary Style: Striker (based on Muay Thai)
Other Style: Hardcore
Strengths:
-Experience: Corey has been wrestling off/on since 2000, and has acquired firsthand knowledge of the in's and out's of the ring
-Strikes: Training in Muay Thai since he was 19, Laz is always dangerous when he's on his feet.
-Mind Games: Corey's been known, from time to time (okay, more times than not), to find the sweet spot of somebody's ego and rip it apart, leading them to stupid decisions.
Weaknesses:
-Ego: Lazarus thinks very highly of himself (and very few others), and is thus likely to try to defend his "honor" at inopportune moments and/or force his strategy to completion no matter its effect.
-Aloofness: Corey lives in his own world, more or less, and though he's technically aware of his surroundings at all times he tends to overlook obvious dangers.
-Injuries: You don't make a name for yourself early on in your career via hardcore brawls and daredevil tactics without causing some long-term damage.
Favourite Moves: Uranage suplex, various kicks, stiff forearms (used instead of closed punches, which Lazarus reserves for people who "deserve" it), Saito suplex, clinch knee strikes, snap Brainbuster, running LigerBomb, overhead Belly-to-Belly suplex, high angle Blue Thunder Driver, feigned double-stomp to bootscrape
Trademark Move(s) and Description(s):
1. Face Chop: Literally a knife edge chop directly to the face of his opponent.
2. Combo #5: Corey kicks out the inside of his opponent's knee and then nails them with a roundhouse kick from the other foot to their ribs, finishing the job by sandwiching their head with a rising knee to their jaw/downward elbow thrust to the crown.
3. Rolling Elbow: A quick, pinpoint, and brutal spinning elbow thrust into an opponent's face.
4. Reel to Reel: With the opponent in the corner, Lazarus charges forward and nails them with a leaping knee into their face. (NOTE: This can be altered to target other body parts, as well.)
5. CinePlex: A sheer drop RegalPlex.
Finisher(s) and Description:
1. End Credits: An almost gravity-defying roundhouse enzugiri.
2. Box Office Bomb: A fall-forward Fisherman's Buster, similar in appearance to the Ki Krusher '99.
3. Mercury Driver: Corey lifts his opponent into an Argentine Rack, turns them, and drops them down with a kneeling piledriver. (NOTE: This move is reserved as a LAST RESORT ONLY.)
