~*The scene opens up inside a casino in Vegas, a few days before the Danger Zone ppv event for IWF. In the corner of the casino in front of one of the machines stood Candy. She kept jumping up and down every time she put money ino the machine. Marcus then walked up to her, wondering what had been keeping her occupied for almost the last hour.*~
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Watcha doin, Candy?
.:CANDY:. OH MY GOD MARCUS! This is the best slot machine in the place! I win EVERY TIME! WATCH!!!
~*She put a dollar in the machine, and it popped out four quarters. She squeeled with delight as she grabbed the quarters and put them into the large cup she had with her, that was filled with at LEAST $50 worth of quarters at this point.*~
.:CANDY:. SEE! I put in a dollar and I win 4 quarters... EVERY TIME!!!
~*Marcus stiffled a chuckle when he realized she was putting dollar bills into the change machine, and what she thought was "winning" was merely the machine making change for a dollar. He didn't want to tell her, so he just played along.*~
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Wow... you must be the luckiest person in Las Vegas! I hope that luck runs over into your match on Danger Zone, and possibly Training Grounds for the Ruby's title.
.:CANDY:. It HAS to! I mean how can it NOT??? There's so many special gems involved too. Things can only go good when there's so much SPARKLE involved.
.:MARCUS CAGE:. What are you talking about?
.:CANDY:. WELL! There's a Crystal, a Diamond, AND a Ruby!
~*He raised an eyebrow, not sure where she was going with it. Then it hit him.*~
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Oh, I get it. You are facing CRYSTAL, for a shot at the RUBY title, and you both are hoping to become DIAMONDS in IWF at some point.
.:CANDY:. UH HUH! This is such a big opportunity, Marcus! You were right last week when you said that even though I lost, I impressed management with how well I did against Alexis Coffee. And then last week I beat Wolverina again! Even though that meanie face doodie head Paige got involved and stuck her nose where it didn't belong. I hope Wolverina kicks her BUTT!
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Wow, you really feel strongly about that one.
.:CANDY:. I DO!
~*She put in a five dollar bill and the machine sputtered out five dollars worth of quarters. Candy's eyes lit up.*~
.:CANDY:. JACKPOT!!!!!!!!!!!
~*She turned around and hugged Marcus, excitedly, thinking she just won the jackpot. She turned back around and started putting the quarters in her cup*~
.:CANDY:. This is FUN! I can see why people love slot machines!
~*A guy came up and stood behind them, waiting for the machine. He waited a moment and then cleared his throat to get their attention.*~
.:CANDY:. Sorry, I'm playing this machine and I'm on a hot streak!
~*The guy gave her a look, not sure how to take her. Marcus pulled the guy off to the side a little bit.*~
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Hey... please... use one of the other change machines?
~*The guy rolled his eyes and walked off. Marcus focused his attention back on Candy.*~
.:MARCUS CAGE:. So... is this how you are preparing for your match, or matches?
.:CANDY:. UH HUH! Doesn't hurt to build up some extra luck, does it?
.:MARCUS CAGE:. No, a little extra luck never hurts. If you want to get in a little bit of practice, I can always teach you a new move.
.:CANDY:. OH THAT WOULD BE SO COOL MARCUS!
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Anytime. So... how much longer you wanna stay here playing this machine? Don't you think you have gotten all the luck from it you can?
.:CANDY:. I don't know... I got a feeling about this machine! Just like I got a feeling about Danger Zone! And then if I beat Crystal, then i get to fight the Ruby's Champion! Her name is Fire... Fire Frenzy?
.:MARCUS CAGE:. I think it's pronounced Firenze.
.:CANDY:. Either way. I hope she's not like... on fire or anything. That would be an unfair advantage in the match.
.:MARCUS CAGE:. I don't think...
.:CANDY:. This is my big chance though, Marcus. I haven't held a title in a really really really long time. I haven't even been full time in the ring in like 3 years except for a few matches in WXW before I lost the title there and took some more time off. It's funny, I didn't expect to get a chance at a title so soon. Winning this could be soooo huge Marcus! I mean I could be holding a title again.
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Just remember not to get a big head.
.:CANDY:. I know. I won't get a big Eggo.
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Eggo? Like the waffle?
.:CANDY:. No, silly. Eggo like when you think are the bestest thing ever.
.:MARCUS CAGE:. You mean "ego"?
.:CANDY:. That's what I said. And then, when I win the title, can we throw a really big party?
.:MARCUS CAGE:. Anything you want. Ya know... I think it's time to give this machine a break. Let's go get something to eat. Maybe some ice cream?
