{Firenze steps onto the entrance stage, microphone in hand with the two Ruby Titles, one draped around each shoulder, wearing a black leather jacket, burgundy blouse, and blue jeans, a smirk on her face as the crowd continues to boo her. She stays atop the stage as her music dies down.}Teri Morasco: And looks like the undisputed Ruby Champion ā¦
Vasco Dias: Our double champion.
Teri Morasco: Our ā¦ regardless, looks like she has something on her mind.
Firenze Everett: Before I get started, Iād like to address a matter that has come up as of late. As you know, we have our next pay per view in about two weeks and it is at this event where the famous ā¦ or infamous depending how you look at it, the Iron Maiden match will take place to determine not only who the iron maiden is but who will face the Diamonds Champion at our major event, Night of the Immortals! If the winner of the match happens to be the current reigning, defending Ruby Champion, then this winner will be forced to trade in said title for the Diamonds Title shot. Now, will I be joining this match? Well ā¦ Iāll answer that question next week live in that very ring on Sacrifice!
{The crowd starts chanting āYou suckā at Firenze who seems unphased by this}Firenze Everett: Now then, to why Iām out here tonight. I need to correct a few misconceptions, there seem to be this set of people who believe that I somehow after DangerZone was beaten by Crystal Hilton.

{The crowd jeers at this}Firenze Everett: Now then, this misconception is oft repeated by many folks here in the locker room and Iād like to end this right now, Crystal Hilton never has and never will beat me! You all saw it two weeks ago at the Training Grounds special where I single handedly beat her and became the undisputed Ruby Champion, your Diamond Double Champion!
{The crowd starts chanting āBullshitā loudly at Firenze}Teri Morasco: Single handedly became a Double Champion? How many more lies can she cram into one sentence?
Vasco Dias: What do you mean? She won the match and she did become the undisputed Ruby Champion.
Teri Morasco: True but she did not win that match single handedly and it certainly did not make her a double champion of any sort.
Vasco Dias: Youāre so negative Teri.
Firenze Everett: That brings me to another point, about a month ago Mercedes Vargas hosted a little show she calls āCandid Cameraā. On Episode I, she threw a snide remark at me about being a ālong long wayā from even getting close to her record reign as Ruby Champion. Fast forward a month later and she now acknowledges and smile in telling me that I deserve this title reign as I approach her old record; clearly a level of sincerity only rivaling that of Ana Valentine or any politician. This is day 113 of my Ruby Title reign, one week from tonight at Sacrifice, it will be day 120 and I will have beaten Mercedesā Ruby Title reign and set a record for the longest Ruby Title reign in the history of the Imperial Wrestling Federation.

Teri Morasco: Canāt argue with the numbers I suppose.
Firenze Everett: Hereās the thing though Mercedes Vargas, you continue to live in the past and keep talking about this record title reign. Whatās more, you whine and kvetch about the way you lost that title on the cold night in āEspaƱaā and that nothing was done after you lost that title. Let me clear up something for you dear, the only reason no one celebrated your loss of the title was because by the time you were done with it, this title was so devalued and so worthless, they had no choice but to shelve it and give it time to clean off the stench of failure that you provided it because let us all remember, you gave up the title to advance to the finals of Heiress to the Throne and much like Crystal Hilton, you failed when Amber Richards kicked your ass. Then you disappeared for a few months clearly with your tail between your legs and all of a sudden you came back ā¦ WOOOO ā¦ Mercedes Vargas is back and ā¦ no one gave a f*beep*k.
Teri Morasco: Whoa.
Firenze Everett: And since your return, youāve done nothing but suck and blow at the same time, losing to rookies? You should be ashamed to think that you are even close to my league, youāre near irrelevance whereas Iām not only on top of the world but I am the top of the Diamondsā Division, not even Ana Valentine can touch me! See, you may have had the record longest reign in history Mercedes but you were never the greatest Ruby Champion by any stretch, you took a great title and devalued it nearly beyond repair and had any other Diamond come along, they probably would have squandered this title too. But with my inane greatness, I did what you never could, I took this title and brought it to prominence, I made it THE PREMIER Diamond Championship in the company and come next Monday night, I take away from you the last shred of relevance you have when I surpass your old record and become the greatest and longest reigning Ruby Champion in the history of the Imperial Wrestling Federation. And you know what the best part is, thereās not a damn thing you can do about it.
{Firenze drops the microphone as she smirks at the crowd and raises both Ruby Title belts}Teri Morasco: Well ā¦ certainly our egomaniac of a champion paying tribute to herself in the most arrogant way possible. I do have to wonder though, what is this whole deal she has against Mercedes Vargas.
Vasco Dias: I donāt think itās anything against her, I think sheās rightfully gloating at her own success.
Teri Morasco: Well nevertheless, we still have our Diamonds Title match, the real Premier Diamond Division title being contested later tonight as Ana Valentine puts it on the line against Amber Richards.
Vasco Dias: Why must you contradict Firenze? If she says the Ruby Title is the Premier Diamond Division Title, then Iām inclined to agree with her.
Teri Morasco: Iām sure you are. You must be getting paid handsomely by Firenze and Sebastian Wolf.

{Ticket in hand, he walks around to the entrance of the building and hands it to the attendant at the door, pocketing the stub thatās returned to him. He makes for the escalator when heās approached by two young, obviously excited girls, wearing Spike Kane and Mike Laszlo t-shirts.}Girl 1: 50/50 ticket?

Terri Morasco: Probably never and thatās why the fans love him. Heās one of the most popular men on the roster right now.
Vasco Dias: Thatās debatable.
Terri Morasco: I really donāt think it is when you look at the signs and merchandize sales.
Vasco Dias: Yeah but if you ignore all that heās clearly not very well liked and tonight, well, heās going to find himself on his back thanks to Mr. Verona and the returning Andrew Jacobsen.
Terri Morasco: While I canāt argue the uphill battle in front of him I will say you probably shouldnāt underestimate Rob.
{ The opening riff of "Unbreakable" plays, sending the crowd into a frenzy, and as the drums kick in Andrew Jacobsen comes striding out onto the ramp. He takes a few steps forward, looking to either side with a wide grin on his face. Andrew looks dead ahead at the ring, cracking his neck, and throws his arms out and head back as a burst of red and green pyro goes off behind him. Jacobsen walks down the ramp, high-fiving fans as he walks, and pulls himself up onto the apron. He climbs through the second rope and walks to a corner, checking his gloves as he waits for the match to start. }Vasco Dias: Andrew Jacobsen, a returning former world champion and all around great guy.

{ The opening to Mama said knock you put by FFDP blares across the pa as Rob Diamond struts out onto the ramp, the crowd pretty much goes nuts for him as he smirks and looks from side to side as the song's lyrics rock your socks off. Rob begins strutting to the ring when MIKE LASZLO COMES OUT FROM THE BACK AND CLUBS HIM OVER THE HEAD WITH A CLOTHES LINE!!!! }Terri Morasco: What the hell is Laszlo doing!?
Vasco Dias: Clearly Rob pissed him off earler.
Terri Morasco: This is uncalled for.

{ Andrew leans into the corner of the ring as Laszlo kicks the crap out of Rob Diamond. Rob tries to roll away but Laszlo is right on him with the vicious stomps. He pulls Rob up and runs him down the ramp and throws him back first into the ring apron. }Vasco Dias: This is why you donāt stick your nose in company business.

{ Andrew still watches with a smirk as Rob wipes the blood from his eye and tells Renee he wants to get in the ring. }Vasco Dias: He still wants to wrestle the match? Is he crazy?

{ Renee tries to talk him out of it but Rob is determined and rolls in under the ropes. }Vasco Dias: Idiot.
{ Rob pulls himself up in the corner as the referee starts to tie the blind fold around his head. The referee barely finishes before Andrew explodes out of his corner with a running knee lift in the corner right to Robās mid section. Andrew takes him down with a snap mare and then kicks him hard in the back with the sole of his boot. }Vasco Dias: Jacobsen is vicious!
Terri Morasco: Itās a total BS match, Rob is already weakened and blind folded!
Vasco Dias: This is what he asked for!
Terri Morasco: He didnāt ask for it!
{ Andrew pulls Rob up by the neck and hooks him for a German suplex right into the coroner, he holds onto Robās waist and pulls him back up for a German out of the corner, Andrew keeps the lock held tight and picks him up for a third one, completing the hat trick and dropping Rob right on his head. }Vasco Dias: Look at Jacobsen, such a physical specimen.
Terri Morasco: Dick.
{ Andrew goes for the cover as Renee pounds the mat. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: What an idiot! Just lay down!
Terri Morasco: Rob doesnāt know the word quit!
{ Andrew smirks as he gets to his feet, he pulls Rob up and lifts him into a vertical suplex position but then drops Rob back of the neck first over his knee! }Vasco Dias: OH MY GOD! That was awesome!

{ Andrew smirks to himself and does a mock crotch chop as the crowd boos. Renee looks pissed on the outside as he leans against the ring apron. Andrew stalks Rob now and waits for him to stand up. Andrew runs up behind Rob with a drop kick and sends him face first into the turnbuckles. }Terri Morasco: Andrew is just picking him apart.
Vasco Dias: Heās a former world champion, he knows his stuff.
Terri Morasco: So is Rob! In this company!

{ Renee pounds the mat to get the fans behind Rob as he tries to pull himself up in the corner, Andrew is right on him and connects with a Release Borealis! Andrew goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: He needs to just stay down before he gets seriously hurt.

{ Andrew looks happy that Rob kicked out and waits for him to stand again. Slowly Rob gets to his feet. Andrew comes in with the Gordie Howe special and rocks Robās jaw. Rob drops to a knee as Andrew pulls him back up to his feet and hits the COLD SNAP! }Vasco Dias: COLD SNAP!
{ Andrew very casually pins him. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: Youāve got to be kidding me!?

{ Andrew doesnāt look like heās enjoying himself anymore as he gets back to his feet. He looks down at Rob as he slowly walks around him before heading to the corner of the ring. Rob is very slow to his feet as Andrew comes out of the corner with the Lights Out superkick! Rob somehow manages to move out of the way of the kick and grabs Andrew with a DIAMOND CUTTER! }Terri Morasco: DIAMOND CUTTER!!!!
Vasco Dias: No way itās over.
{ Rob canāt seem to locate Andrewās body and wastes valuable seconds as Renee coaches him from ring side. Finally Rob finds him and covers. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: Took too long to make the cover.

{ Rob pushes off of Andrew and stands, Andrew is right there with him and screams in Robās face to COME ON! Rob takes several swings, all miss by a mile as Andrew laughs and dances around Rob. }Terri Morasco: What an ass.

{ Andrew charges in with another knee lift to the midsection of Rob and quickly pulls him up for the Ice Breaker power bomb but Rob turns it into a sunset flip pinning combination and kicks his feet up on the ropes where Renee quickly grabs his ankles to hold him in place, the referee doesnāt see it! }Vasco Dias: HIS FEET ARE ON THE ROPES!

A few escalator rides later and he pushes through the large blue curtain separating the noisy foyer from the even louder event floor. Heād made it to the floor seats and was bound and determined to get himself as close to the announce table as he could. Somebody was going to hear what he had to say, by hook or by crook!}Event Staff: Can I see your ticket, sir?
{Drama looked at the octogenarian in the yellow windbreaker for a moment}Johnny Drama: Itās ok, I see my seat over there ā¦

As the song explodes after the first verse Amber makes her way out her black hair flowing down as she throws her head back and lets out a laugh. Vasco Dias: She's suffering and no one can see it...she seems to have lost all confidence...
{The bell rings and Amber and Ana meet in the center of the ring, Ana smirks and slaps Amber across the face. Amber slowly looks back and the smirk fads from Ana's face. She seems frozen on what to do. Ana slaps her again and Amber steps back. Ana looks sad and shakes her head before pushing Amber down. {Ana hits Amber as she gets to one knee, she winds up and hits again but Amber blocks the right hand and gets to her feet hitting Ana back, Ana steps back and fires off a right at Amber, the two going back and forth with hard right hands before Amber ducks one and kicks Ana in the stomach, she whips her across the ring and leaps up with a calf kick sending Ana down, Amber pins 1.....2....Ana kicks out. {Ana measures Amber up for the complete shot, she goes for it but Amber grabs the top rope and blocks it causing Ana to hit the mat, she rolls from the ring holding the back of her head. Amber gets up a head of steam and goes for a suicide dive landing on top of Ana outside the ring. Both women lay on the mat outside in pain. Amber is the first one to get to her feet, Amber walks over to Ana who pushes up on her elbows, she leans forward and grabs Ambers clothes pulling her forward into the steel steps face first. {Ana grabs a steel chair from outside, she raises it above her head and brings it crashing down on Ambers back, she does it again and again. Amber crawls across the mat and pulls herself up, Ana laughs again and shakes her head before setting up the chair in the middle of the ring, Ana runs and leaps up hitting the "in his name" complete shot bringing Amber face first into the chair!, Ana pins 1.....2......3}Vasco Dias: And Ana wins to retain her title....

{ Roberto shakes his head. }Roberto: Tsk tsk, thatās really no way to talk to your boss.

{ Rob steps forward, blood still coming out of the wound above his eye. }Rob: Whatās next, one hand tied behind my back?
Roberto: In a manner of speaking, you see, since you think itās your place to put your nose in my business as well as the business of my other proud employees I think it is my place to show you where you belong.
Rob: You wanna fight me?
Roberto: Absolutely.

{ Rob looks to Renee and Renee looks back, the two of them share a laugh and look back to Verona. }Renee: Looks like two Bearded Bastards get tah debut.
Roberto: Oh Iām sorry, you must of misunderstood me. Itās not a tag team match, itās a handi cap match and if you get involved Mr. Pleasant then you can kiss your title shot good bye.
{ Now Verona has himself a little laugh as Renee goes to knock him out but Rob stops him. }Roberto: Iāll see you next week.

{All of the lights flicker out throughout the arena and turquoise tinted lights quickly replace while the opening guitar riff of āBlow Me Awayā begins to play through the speakers. A roar of cheers rings from the majority of the fans in the arena and from the way that the camera does see them, it doesnāt appear that one single person is sitting in their seat; Seth emerges from behind the curtains dressed in his loose leather pants with the Halo symbol on his left leg. He lifts his hand above his eyes to block the blinding light from him to take a moment to look at the entire crowd, and smiles and nods his head in approval for the reception that he receives. Not moving from his spot at the top of the ramp, he brings his hands to his chest and jumps up and down a few times as if to get the blood flowing before finally landing, and hunching for a moment before breaking into a sprint; while sprinting down the ramp he slaps hands with many of the fans on one side of the front row but as he reaches the end of the ramp, he centers himself before taking a long jump and landing one foot on the apron, showing off his athleticism, and his hands reach forward to grip the rope and steady himself on the apron. Both of his hands grip the rope tightly before shaking the rope to fire himself up and quickly stepping between the top and middle rope, and breaking again into a sprint to one of the turnbuckles. While standing in there basking in the praise, he extends his arms out for several seconds and finally brings his hand in to pound his chest twice, and finally steps down from the turnbuckle to wait for the match to begin.}Vasco Dias: I donāt get how Seth Evans is in the ring with Alex Jones.
Terri Morasco: He has one of the biggest victories in his career over one of the greatest! Or have you forgotten already?
{The entrance fills with mist as red and white strob lights blink one and off fast in time to the saw theme, the music builds and builds before slowing down to a stop.}

{Blue smock nancy's "unsettling difference" blasts over the PA as Alex Jones steps out onto the stage. His long two tone hair wet down his back and sides. He wears a black Alex Jones shirt and his wrestling gear. He holds the IWF Imperial Championship as he makes his way down to the ring with Ana Valentine by his side. They get down to the ring and Alex leaps up onto the apron before helping Ana, he opens the ropes for her before getting in himself.}Vasco Dias: And here is the champion! Two successful title defenses to his name already.
Terri Morasco: How is he going to handle Renee Pleasant when he has to defend the belt against him, though?
{The bell sounds and both competitors begin to circle the ringāAlex and Seth have their eyes locked with one another, and Seth is the first to take a step towards the middle of the ring. He holds one hand up in the air as an invitation for the test of strength, which Alex Jones accepts by joining him in the middle of the ringā¦ Alex Jones takes his hand and both of them start exerting force on the other to try and force the other back but both of them are in a stalemate; Alex manages to gain the upper-hand after several seconds of battleāthis appears to motivate Seth further as he starts pushing back and runs Alex Jonesā spine back into the corner!}Vasco Dias: These two are going straight at it.
Terri Morasco: But Seth uses the ring to his advantage by pushing Alex back hard into the corner.
{Alex grimaces from how hard Seth has pushed him into the corner, but raises his arms to let the referee know that he is not trying to defend himself and the referee gets between the twoāas Seth is being pushed apart from Alex, Alex connects with a cheap shot, an elbow, to Sethās jaw. The shot forces Seth to stagger backward and the referee backs up with a look of curiosity of what happenedā¦ Alex rushes forward and leaps high into the air, even using the rope to help his elevation, and looks to connect with The Flashback!}Vasco Dias: COULD IT END SO EARLY!
Terri Morasco: Alex Jones is looking for it!
{Seth is able to move out of the way, and Alex slams his foot down onto the mat with enough force that he limps a momentāSeth takes advantage of the situation by connecting with some hard rights onto Alexā¦ he connects with three shots before Alex finally lifts his arms to defend himself and is firing back with his own shots whenever he has the opportunity. After several more shots, Alex drops his defenses and the two exchange lefts and rights with each other. Alex is taking advantage with the brawling and forces Seth into the cornerāhe continues coming in with lefts and rights into Sethās ribs, and finally thrusts his shoulder forward into Sethās abdomen to drive the wind out of him.}Terri Morasco: I donāt know if Seth could handle a brawl with Alex. These two know each other, and I think Alex knows that is where he is favored to win.
Vasco Dias: I donāt think thereās any way that Seth could meet with Alex and beat him.
{Alex thrusts his shoulder in a few more times before finally taking a step back and getting a running startā¦ as Alex charges in for a running shoulder thrustāmore of a spearāto Seth, Seth is able to leap over his former mentor and roll him into a sunset flip! The referee quickly goes down to count: One! ā¦.. Two! ā¦.. TāAlex rolls them over the other way, and hooks both of Sethās legs: One! ā¦.. Two! ā¦ā¦ Seth rolls them back the other way: One! ā¦.. Two! ā¦.. AGAIN! Alex is able to roll them back, but Seth is prepared for it and instantly takes him back overāAlex takes the momentum to his favor and finishes a backward roll to quickly get to one knee and ready to charge at Seth.}Vasco Dias: Both men are looking for the three, but neither man is getting it.
Terri Morasco: And Alex Jones is back to his feet.
{Alex charges forward and goes for a dropping dropkick, but Seth is able to duck underneath it! Alex almost slides right out of the ring after impacting the canvas, as Seth kips up. He turns to face his opponent who is already pushing himself to his feet, and the Imperial Champion charges at himāSeth turns his momentum against him by stepping to the side and adding some force by sending him toward the corner and chasing in after himā¦ Alex Jones runs up the corner and completes a back flip over the charging Sethā¦ before Alex has a chance to regain his bearing after landing, Seth lunges forward for the Bulltrue!}Terri Morasco: Seth looking for the Bulltrue early!
Vasco Dias: No! No!
{Alex catches his leg and shakes his head to himāhe spins him around, and Seth looks to regain that momentum by going for a spinning back kick, but Alex ducks underneath it a second time and as Seth turns to face him, he dives at him for an enzuigiri! Seth ducks underneath it and gets a hold on Alexās ankleāhe looks to get him into the hold, but Alex Jones quickly rolls forward forcing Seth to release the hold as he must now concern himself with stopping the forward momentum.}
Vasco Dias: Move for move, hold for hold. Alex Jones isnāt allowing his opponent to get the upper hand and neither is the challenger.
Terri Morasco: Alex Jones is an intelligent wrestler, thatās for sure. Thatās how he knows that he cannot allow Seth to get that hold inā¦ despite his words, he knows that Seth Evans could very well beat him.
{Seth faces Alex again after stopping himself from going forward, and Alex is able to toss him over and into the corner! Alex follows him in but Seth lifts him up with the shoulder back tossāthe Imperial Champion is able to catch himself and land on the apronā¦ Seth goes to throw an elbow back but Alex is a moment quicker and delivers a swift knee between the ropes into Sethās abdomenāhe pulls him closer and goes over the ropes with the sunset flip! As he is trying to take Seth over, Seth drops over Alex and leans back to grab his legs and roll him up: One! ā¦.. Two! ā¦.. ThrāAlex rolls him back, but Seth doesnāt give him the opportunity to keep the cover as he rolls backward now and stands ready to fight again.}
Terri Morasco: And trading places.
Vasco Dias: These two cannot get one up over the other.
{Rather than taking advantage of the situation, Seth allows Alex Jones the proper amount of time to get back to his feet as the crowd is going crazy for these two. Seth extends his hand out to Alex, and Alex gets a smirk on his face as he steps forward to shake the hand of his former studentājust as the hands are about to grasp, Alex swerves his up and connects with a swift slap across his face!}
Vasco Dias: There you go! Respect should only matter before and after the matchā¦ duringā¦ is all fair game.
Terri Morasco: What a cheap shot!
{The slap causes Seth to stagger, and Alex lunges forward with a double axe handle smash to his back that sends him into the ropes! Alex follows in again and this time grabs Seth from behind and lifts him up for a back body dropāSeth uses the momentum that he was given from Alexās lift, and lands on his feet behind himā¦ as if he knew Seth was going to do that, Alex goes for Sethās own Clutch Kick! But Seth moves out of the way of it just in the nick of time, and grabs Alexās ankle and drags him closer to the center of the ring as he wraps his legs around Alexās own leg to put him into the grapevine as he applies the ankle lock!}
Vasco Dias: What a reversal!
Terri Morasco: Alex Jones looks to go old school by using the kick that he taught Seth, and Seth adapted into his own arsenal, against him!
{Alex Jones tries to kick his leg free, but Seth has it expertly appliedāAlex reaches out desperately for the ropes, but they are just a hair out of reachā¦ he screams in the middle of the ring, trying to get his other leg going but has no angle to connect with a hard enough shot at Sethā¦ Seth leans back while keeping the hold applied and is calling for Alex to tap out but the Imperial Champion refuses.}
Terri Morasco: There is nowhere for him to go. Heās so close, but Seth has it expertly applied.
Vasco Dias: Donāt count out our champion just yet!
{Alex reaches out again for the ropes and almost touches them but is still out of reachā¦ he props his elbows on the canvas and starts to drag himself forward the few inches he needsāhe stretches forward with the few extra inches he got and is able to grasp the bottom rope! The referee calls for Seth to release the hold, who does instantlyā¦ but he does not let up his attack. As soon as Alex releases the rope and is trying to get himself to his feet, Seth grabs him by the right leg and lifts him to the point that heās almost doing a handstand before slamming his right knee down to the mat!}
Terri Morasco: The elevation! Seth Evans showing that he has done his homework by targeting that right knee!
Vasco Dias: Youāre supposed to be honorable!
Terri Morasco: There is nothing dishonorable about attacking a knee!
{Alex clings to his knee and rolls toward the corner, trying to escape the attack, but Seth is persistentā¦ he grabs Alex by the leg and attempts to drag him to the middle of the ringābut Alex wisely grabs the ropes and pulls himself toward the apron before escaping out from under the bottom rope. The crowd boos at Alex Jones, letting him know what they think of his cowardice but he shakes his head and waves off their insults.}
Vasco Dias: Smart move! SMART! MOVE!
Terri Morasco: I will give him that, but the crowd does not look pleased by his tactics.
{Seth is pointing at Alex Jones and telling the referee to get him back into the ring; outside of the ring, Alex is checking on his own knee and you can see the pain written on his face. Alex limps over to the steel steps and points at Seth to tell him to back upāSeth obliges. The count makes it to about six before Alex gets to the apron and finally inside the ringā¦}
Terri Morasco: Despite receiving no sportsmanship from his former mentor, Seth Evans does allow Alex Jones to get back into the ring without quarrel.
Vasco Dias: As he should. In fact! He should be holding those ropes open for him!
{Both competitors start to circle the ring, and Seth gestures for an attacking move toward Alexās knee which causes him to hobble back to avoid the encounterāSeth bluffed him and waits for him to regain his stance before charging forward, and Alex looks ready to attack but Seth takes him up and over with a Japanese arm drag! Alex bounces off the mat and is already getting to his feet, as Seth is already to his; Seth connects with a dropkick that sends Alex off his feet and flat on his back! Seth follows down and hooks the near leg: One! ā¦.. Two! ā¦.. Alex is able to kick out.}
Vasco Dias: A quick cover that doesnāt pay off for him.
Terri Morasco: It forced Alex Jones to exert a little more energy that he may need later.
{Seth is quick to his feet and grabs Alexās right leg, looking to get him into a single leg crabāAlex can tell what Seth is trying to do, and quickly pushes him off with his free leg! Seth bounces off the ropes and steps forward to try to connect with a kick to the seated Alex Jones, but Alex ducks back and grabs Sethās ankle this time tripping him upāhe goes for an ankle lock of his own, but like the first time Seth went for his on Alex, Seth is able to roll forward and rather than let the momentum sail Alex Jones away, he trips him up and looks to get him back into the ankle lock but Alex Jones claws and clings for the ropes to keep Seth from being able to put the hold in.}
Vasco Dias: Ha! Heās not going to let that hold go in again!
Terri Morasco: Alex Jones has felt the wrath of how much Seth can twist that ankle, and he is not wanting to go through that again.
{Alex Jones charges at Seth Evans, desperate to get some offense in his own favor, but Seth is able to counter by taking him over with a hip toss and down with a neckbreaker! Alex Jones is in the perfect position as Seth points to the ropesā¦}
Terri Morasco: Where is he going?
Vasco Dias: Being an idiot.
{Seth walks toward the apron of the ring and climbs up to the top rope as the crowd cheers ever louderāhe leaps off of the top rope for the Wingman! Alex Jones shows his speed by quickly getting to his feet and as Seth is still holding his air time, he lands a Leaping Enzuigiri! Seth Evans crashes onto the mat, holding his head, and Alex calls that this match is over from the impact that he got on himā¦ He rolls him over and rolls him up, putting all his weight onto Sethās shoulders: One! ā¦.. Two! ā¦.. Thre---Seth is able to kick out!}
Vasco Dias: How?! Out of nowhere, Alex Jones is able to hit him with a Leaping Enzuigiri, and the impact alone should have put him in a coma!
Terri Morasco: I canāt believe what we just saw, but that shows that the fights that Seth Evans did have with Angel did really toughen him up. He can take a hit.
{The Imperial Champion is in disbelief as he tries to ask the referee about the count, but he shakes his head and grits his teethāhe pats his own knee a few times to make sure it can hold up, and slowly gets up to his feet and starts to pick Seth Evans up with himāhe keeps Seth Evans keeled over and calls for the end of the match, then runs at the ropes and back at him to leap into the air and go for The Flashback!}
Vasco Dias: This time! Heās going to hit it!
Terri Morasco: No! Seth moves!
{Seth Evans moves! Alex Jones has a look of shock on his face and Seth Evans takes him down with a clotheslineāAlex pops almost right back to his feet, appearing to favor his knee. Seth immediately grapples up with Alex and delivers a few elbows into his midsection before sailing him over with a Fisherman Suplex! He keeps the bridge and leg hooked: One! ā¦.. Two! ā¦.. Alex kicks out!}
Terri Morasco: Alex Jones still kicks out!
Vasco Dias: You canāt let him get this over you, champ!
{Both of the competitors are getting to their feet, and both take a step toward each other but Seth Evans lifts Alex up and takes him down with the Michinoku Driver! Rather than making another attempt for a cover, Seth Evans is getting up to his feet and points toward the cornerāthe crowd cheers loud as Seth stomps one foot to the ground and begins to take aim where he anticipates Alex Jones to rise.}
Vasco Dias: Donāt look. I canāt look!
Terri Morasco: Seth Evans is looking to bring this match to an end!
{Seth stomps his foot on the ground a few more times while watching Alex Jones; Alex Jones is slowly getting to his feetāwhen he does, he stumbles and happens to look toward Seth as Seth lunges forward for the Bulltrue! ALEX DUCKS! Seth is off balance after missing his kick, and Alex Jones pulls him in to try to sail him over with a suplex of his ownāas Alex lifts him up, Seth counters by swinging behind him and appears to be going for a Dragon Sleeper, but Alex flips backward and over Seth to have him in an inverted headlock. He spins him around to put him into the standard headlockāhe prepares to drop him with a DDT, but Seth Evans charges at the corner.}
Terri Morasco: Seth Evans quickly takes the ground away from behind Alex Jones, and Alex Jones cannot finish his move.
Vasco Dias: But heās completely vulnerable to assault.
{Alex Jones lands a couple elbows into Sethās upper back that finally forces Seth back a few steps. Alex charges, and grabs Seth by the arm looking to send him with extra force toward the ropes with an Irish whip, and manages to do soāSeth bounces off the ropes and looks to connect with something of his own but Alex is able to bring him up onto his shoulders!}
Vasco Dias: This is it! The Dragon Sleeps! Itās coming!
Terri Morasco: Seth Evans is not in a good positionā¦ things are not looking good for him.
{Alex Jones is calling for The Dragon Sleeps while Seth is trying to wriggle his way freeāAlex tosses him up and leaps back for the kick! Seth is able to get his feet to the ground and while the kick looks like it did hit Seth, Seth is able to grab him by the ankle and put him back into the ankle lock! Alex Jones is screaming out in pain as Seth is looking to get him closer to the middle of the ringā¦ Alex is very quick to get to one knee, although putting his leg at a bad angle, he knows itās more devastating to be trapped to the mat with this hold appliedāhe leaps back and connects with a jumping back heel kick that forces Seth to release the hold.}Terri Morasco: Just when you think itās going to be over, Seth Evans counters! Seth Evans countered The Dragon Sleeps by regaining his footing and going for another ankle lock!
Vasco Dias: What will it take to bring him down?!
{Seth stumbles back against the ropes, and shakes his head to get some of the cobwebs out; Alex Jones takes this time to be able to get back to his feet, and begins to stomp his foot to the ground a few times to get some of the blood flow workingāwhen heās satisfied, he sprints at Seth only for Seth to lift him up and appearing to send him out of the ring! But Seth stops him up near his shoulders and begins to walk him near the middle of the ring to attempt his own Extermination! Alex Jones has a hold of the ropes, though!}
Vasco Dias: Alex Jones knows that he canāt let go of those ropes, otherwise Seth Evans is going to hit the Extermination!
Terri Morasco: Theyāre fighting over it!
{Seth pulls Alex Jones back trying to force him to loosen his hold on the ropes, but Alex clings even tighterāSeth walks him closer to the ropes and looks to want to send him outside of the ring in a death valley driver fashion, but the champion takes this opportunity to deliver a few back elbows into the side of Sethās headā¦ after several shots from Alex, Seth finally kneels down and the champion safely gets off his shoulders.}
Terri Morasco: Somehow Alex Jones is able to avoid the crisis.
Vasco Dias: That is why he is the champion.
{Alex grabs Seth by the head and forcefully drags him closer to the middle of the ringā¦ He delivers a swift kick into his midsection, before rushing off to the ropes and going for The Flashback! But Seth is able to move out of the way for a third time! Seth goes for the Bulltrue, but Alex Jones is able to move out of the way, and catches Seth off guard with a schoolboy rollupāhe grabs a handful of tights when the referee is near Sethās shoulders, and the referee counts: One! ā¦.. Two! ā¦.. Three!}WINNER by way of Pin Fall: ALEX JONES!
Terri Morasco: I canāt believe itā¦ Alex Jones cheats his way to victory.
Vasco Dias: What are you talking about? He caught Seth Evans off guard, and picked up a crucial victory.
Terri Morasco: He grabbed a handful of tights! Seth Evans could have kicked out if Alex Jones did not have a handful of tights! And isnāt Alex Jones supposed to bring honor back to the Imperial Championship? Honor that he claims was removed by Angel, Spike Kane, and anyone else who held the beltā¦
Vasco Dias: He is going to do just that. By defending that belt as often as he wants.
{Alex Jones quickly rolls out of the ring after he hears the bell sounds and retrieves his Imperial Championship from the timekeeperā¦ he starts walking up the ramp, only looking down at the ring at his defeated opponent with a smile on his face as he holds his own arms in the air in victory. Seth Evans looks at him in pure disgust that he would use such tactics for a victory.}Terri Morasco: Seth looks so disappointed.
{Alex calls Ana over who hands him a mic.}Vasco Dias: Seems like we're going to hear from the champ...
Alex Jones: Seth....what happened in that ring tonight was the last lesson that I am ever going to give you. Learn from what happened..kid...
{Alex adds the "kid" on the end with some contempt}Alex Jones: I told you I would do anything to win, I said it to your face basically and you are still surprised. Maybe you should have focused more on me and less on what happened with Angel....take a good look Seth....
{Alex pulls Ana to him as they both hold their titles in the air.}Alex Jones: This is what champions look like...
