Two Souls Apart
Okay, people. I know I haven't had my heart into my work, but it's all about Katie Phoenix. She is the love of my life, and my stupid self broke up with her. I hear the rumors about Katie talking to other guys in the backstage area, but I've yet to catch her doing it. If I catch any one of you bastards, I will rip off your neck and shit down your throat.
Some people call me insane or out of control, but really... Yes, yes, I am. I've felt something snap and now I'm willing to do anything to get Katie back. She is my soul mate, and if I can't get her back, then I will take my anger out on my oppoents and put people on the injured list. Are you willing to stand in my way when I'm this wreckless? This week I've got a shot at the IWF Invictus Championship as I face the champion, Aaron Owens. Owens, I've heard you have been talking to my woman, Katie. It's just a rumor for now, but if I catch the two of you chatting it up, then well, I'll cut your throat ear to ear and watch you choking on your own blood.
This is the first chance I've ever had ever had at a champion here in IWF, and I'm going to leave my mark out there in the ring. Owens, I don't like you and that's obvious, but I intend to go out there and steal the damn show. The two of us have never fought before, so there will be surprises on both sizes, but you're not going to like what I have in store for you, you freaking little bitch.
This is MY time, Owens. My chance at being on top of my game. I will NOT let this opportunity get away from me. I want that IWF Invictus Championship, and I'll steamroll right through you to get it. Oh, and one last thing. Katie? Well, she's MINE. If you touch her, I swear to God that I will end your career right then and there.
The scene opens up in Mike's California beach condo. He is sitting down, but talking on his cell phone.
Mike Madness:
"So, why should I trust you? You're the one that was married to Katie for 4 long years."
Miles Washington:
"You should trust me for that very reason. I know Katie better than anyone. You need to let go of the fact that I was with her before you. It is what it is."
Mike Madness:
"Well, I guess I'll do whatever it takes to get Katie back."
Miles Washington:
" I haven't been able to locate her thus far."
Mike Madness:
"Damn it. I'm paying you for this. You HAVE to find her!"
Miles Washington:
"Calm down. Maybe she'll show up at Night of the Champions?"
Mike Madness:
"I swear to God, Miles, if I see her even looking at another man, I'll snap."
Miles Washington:
"Yeah, and that'l push her further away. Is that what you want?"
Mike Madness:
"Ugh... No."
Miles Washington:
"Then you stop making demands and listen to me now. I am your savior. I can help you get her back."
Mike Madness:
"Fine. Just make sure you do this right or else."
Miles Washington:
"Do I need to remind you that I'm a attorney, Michael?"
Mike Madness:
"I know you're a damn lawyer."
Miles Washington:
"Then stop running your mouth and listen. Here's my plan..."
As he mutters those words, the scene fades to black. Can Madness finally get back Katie, the love of his life? Only time will tell.
