IWF.com would like to congratulate Ana Jones (née Valentine) and Angel "God" Blake on their inductions into the IWF Hall of Fame. Ana and Angel joined Spike Kane and Jessica Reed at Night of the Immortals as members of the prestigious Hall of Fame and etched their names into history where they will be remembered forever. Following his brutal match with Spike Kane, Angel Blake was not available for comment on his induction but Ana Valentine gave a speech following the conclusion of Night of the Immortals.
"It's an honor to be inducted into 2015's Hall of Fame. Despite my oft strained and questionable relationship with Imperial Wrestling; I have given my time and dedication to this company and it is, in my opinion, just and due recompense for all I have done for this Diamond's Division over the past year."
"Joining a name like Jessica Reed, personal feelings aside, in the Hall of Fame is indeed something that will go down as a huge accomplishment in my career and I hope this shows every single woman in the division that regardless hard work and dedication always pays off."
"I naturally need to thank my incredible husband for all of his support and his undying faith in me during my time here in IWF and I would also like to say, that unlike my inductee before me; this isn't it, not even close."
IWF would like to congratulate both competitors for their accomplishments, with COO Roberto Verona having some special words to say about both inductees.
"Both Ana and Angel are absolutely deserving of their spots in the Hall of Fame" said Verona. "I know how much of an honour and a privilege it is to have your individual merits recognised and both of them have earned these accolades with their performances over the past two years."
"Myself and Angel have gone to war on the screen multiple times and it was always a privilege to work with him, he has a love and energy for this business which is infectious and he always brings his best, no matter what is happening in his personal or professional life. His title run will go down in history as one of the most memorable in professional wrestling history, something he more than earned."
"As for Ana, what can you say really? When Jess was injured there was a void begging to be filled by those who were hungry enough to take the gauntlet on. Amber Richards, Eternity and Alexis Caffrey have all made notable contributions to the Diamond's division but Ana truly made her mark this past year, maturing into a wonderful performer inside that ring. Ana worked tirelessly to continue the fine traditions of our Diamond's Championship and although her reign came to an end tonight, like Angel's it too will be remembered."
