Smarknado can exclusively reveal that big changes are planned in the Imperial Wrestling Federation – starting after next month’s Legacy pay-per-view in Mexico City, to tie into the company’s return to U.S. soil in the first week of September. Rumours are abound as to what exactly these changes will entail, but our sources have confirmed that significant changes to the company and its programming are planned for after the conclusion of Legacy to usher in a new era in IWF. “Roberto feels that IWF requires a fresh start to prevent the product from growing stale” stated one of our insiders. “He feels that whilst competition for some of the belts has been quite healthy, roster changes, staff departures and a board room re-shuffle have all complicated matters and led to the product being neglected. These changes are planned to rectify these problems and move the company forward back into the prominent spot in professional wrestling it has occupied in the past.” It is widely believed that problems arising during a critical period of overseas broadcasts has confused matters and delayed previous plans to usher in a shift in the company following Night of the Immortals. Details of these changes are likely to be leaked over the coming weeks, make sure to keep your eyes peeled for more information!
